Since the outbreak of COVID-19, many parts of the world have fallen into deep recession. Governments in every country have adopted various measures to restrict social gatherings due to the need to control the pandemic. This includes restrictions on activities in homes and communities. Fundamentally, epidemic prevention relies on the measures individuals take. A community’s epidemic prevention measures become more critical as activities are held in houses or communities once again. From the perspective of the theory of planned behavior, this study investigates whether the various epidemic prevention measures and characteristics of a community affect residents’ perception of epidemic prevention. We use the truncated regression model as the primary research method. The empirical results show that the community’s epidemic prevention measures can change residents’ awareness of the importance of epidemic prevention. Moreover, the scale of the community and management committee are also found to have a partial impact.

The article analyses the impact of speculation on the cryptocurrency market. In the introduction, the author interprets the meaning of the speculation and a speculator’s way of thinking. The literature review was broken down into two aspects. The first is to analyse the literature on the subject in terms of the cryptocurrency market. The second is an analysis of the sentiment index, which becomes the primary research method. The analysis of the sentiment value shows a high correlation between the impact of sentiment on the value of cryptocurrencies. Further recommendations are to analyse the sentiment with regard to listed companies (Polish and international) and stock indices (including the forex market).

This article examines the Facebook group #jagärhär, a Sweden-based collective of thousands of people who have made a regular practice of responding en masse to what they regard as hateful comments online. #jagärhar is one of the largest and best-organized collective efforts to respond directly to hatred online anywhere in the world. Drawing on data collected through ethnographic observation and interviews, the article explores two primary research questions: (1) how do the external counterspeech actions of group members work to counter hatred (and, sometimes, misinformation)? and (2) how do the internal practices of the group keep members engaged? I argue that instead of focusing their work on preventing future hateful speech (presumably by changing the minds or incentives of those who post it), #jagärhär members fight against its effects—attempting to lessen the impact of the hateful speech by hiding it in the comment threads, speaking to the “movable middle” rather than those posting hatred, and encouraging more counterspeech against it.

The outbreak of the COVID-19 disease, spreading all around the world and causing a worldwide pandemic, has lead to the collapse of the health systems of the most affected countries. Due to the ease of transmission, early prevention measures are proved to be fundamental to control the pandemic and, hence, the saturation of the health systems. Given the difficulty of obtaining characteristics of these systems of different countries and regions, it is necessary to define indicators based on basic information that enable the assessment of the evolution of the impact of a disease in a health system along with fair comparisons among different ones. This present paper introduces the Health Sufficiency Indicator (HSI), in its accumulated and daily versions. This indicator measures the additional pressure that a health care system has to deal with due to a pandemic. Hence, it allows to evaluate the capacity of a health system to give response to the corresponding needs arising from a pandemic and to compare the evolution of the disease among different regions. In addition, the Potential Occupancy Ratio (POR) in both its hospital ward bed and ICU bed versions is here introduced to asses the impact of the pandemic in the capacity of hospitals. These indicators and other well-known ones are applied to track the evolution of the impact of the disease on the Spanish health system during the first wave of the pandemic, both on national and regional levels. An international comparison among the most affected countries is also performed.

The Covid-19 pandemic has fatal consequences for the world economy, one of which occurred in Indonesia. Government regulations require the public to apply health protocols that must be obeyed, namely social distancing which causes traders to be hampered in the process of buying and selling activities. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of Covid-19 on export-import activities in Indonesia. This research method uses the desk study method, namely the collection of data sourced from secondary data obtained from BPS in 2020. The results show that: Covid-19 has had an impact including: (1) The largest decline in the value of imports in Indonesia was experienced in February 2020 and May 2020; (2) Document processing must take longer due to this pandemic and all import-export activities must be guided by health protocols that must be carried out; (3) Delay in handling the ship at the port (ship delay), which will have an impact on the delay of the goods arriving at the hands of the owner of the goods (importer) which causes the importer to also have to prepare more costs for importing the goods.

The paper presents the research results of tourism state and patterns development in the Visegrad Group. The regional grouping of Central and Eastern Europe, the Visegrad Group, has become a separate subsystem of the European Union, which has received economic, logistical, cultural and political content. These processes are important for Ukraine. The experience of the Visegrad Group, the ability to quickly solve current issues and face the challenges, understanding the real hierarchy of priorities while preserving the national identity of the Visegrad Group (VG) are significant for Ukraine. Tourism is an area that can positively influence both the development of the integrated structure as a whole and the socio-economic development of its member countries. The article carries out a comparative analysis of tourism development trends in the Visegrad Group countries, Europe and the world, as well as develops recommendations for assessing the cooperation prospects between Ukraine and the VG using econometric methods. To achieve the goal of the study, a comparative analysis of global, European and Visegrad trends in tourism was developed, arrivals of international tourists on the amount of income from international tourism by conducting a correlation-regression analysis, substantiated and developed applied aspects for forecasting the potential mutual benefit from cooperation between Ukraine and the VG. According to the World Trade Organization, the forecast of the number of international tourists in the world for 2020-2021 was made. Based on the impact assessment of the number of international tourist arrivals on the amount of income from international tourism, a linear regression model was built, the adequacy and reliability of the regression coefficient was confirmed by Fisher's and Student's estimates. During the analysis (from a priori analysis, proving the quantitative and qualitative homogeneity of the two sets, to the construction, evaluation and analysis of the obtained model) a regression model was built, which can be recommended to be used in the impact analysis of tourist arrivals on international tourism. A comparative analysis of the dynamics of international tourist arrivals and revenues from international tourism in Poland and Ukraine was done. As a result of Poland's experience research, a model of revenues from international tourism is recommended, the factors of which are gross investment (% of GDP) and the number of tourist arrivals.

The results show that Indonesia is in the second position as the largest country in the world that contributes waste to the sea. This plastic waste is one of the biggest polluters in the sea which can be a serious threat to marine ecosystems. One of the right treatments is the plastic bag diet. This certainly raises various perceptions among the community as an effort to save the environment. This study aims to determine the perceptions of UIN Walisongo Semarang students on the plastic diet program as an effort to save marine ecosystems. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method, with a data collection instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Based on the research that has been done, the 193 samples obtained indicate that the perception of UIN Walisongo students towards the plastic diet as an effort to save marine ecosystems is very positive and supports this movement. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed all activities around the world including the world of education due to the widespread impact of the covid-19 learning process activities in schools have been temporarily suspended and diverted to online or online learning, however, many parents have pros and cons related to online learning. Sociology learning in the midst of Covid-19 has experienced changes where there should be direct social interaction in problem-solving (face-to-face) between teachers and students turning online due to social distancing restrictions where this learning is difficult to practice for students. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of online learning on sociology subjects at SMAN 4 Pandeglang. This research method uses qualitative methods, namely the form of interviews and observations. Based on the results of the interviews conducted, it can be seen that online learning still experiences problems such as some students do not have cellphones, unstable internet networks in remote areas, and learning media that are less supportive.
