  En la formación de profesores de Química resulta indispensable desarrollar habilidades que contribuyan mediante el experimento químico al logro de los objetivos propuestos en el modelo del profesional. En el presente artículo se presentan los resultados de una investigación pedagógica que se fundamentó en su carácter teórico-práctico desde el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la disciplina Química General, aplicando métodos empíricos y teóricos como el Histórico-Lógico, Sistematización Teórica, Método de observación, entre otros. El objetivo estuvo centrado en la elaboración y aplicación de tareas docentes para contribuir al desarrollo de la habilidad modelar el experimento químico de esta disciplina en la Universidad de Las Tunas. Se concibieron las tareas también desde una óptica integradora y problemática, transitando desde niveles de desempeño reproductivos hasta creativos. La introducción de estas tareas en la práctica escolar contribuyó a elevar la calidad del proceso formativo y alcanzar niveles superiores de desarrollo de esta habilidad.   Palabras clave: habilidad, modelar, experimento químico, química general.   Abstract   In the formation of professors of Chemistry, it is indispensable to develop abilities that contribute by means of the chemical experiment to the achievement of the objectives proposed in the professional's pattern. In the current paper the results of a pedagogical research, based on the theoretical-practical character of the subject General Chemistry, were presented from a teaching-learning process point of view, applying empirical methods, suchas, The Historical-Logical Method and the observation Method, among others. The objective was centred in the elaboration and application of educational tasks to contribute to the development of the ability to model the chemical experiment of this discipline in the Universidad de las Tunas. The tasks were also conceived from an integrative and problematic point of view, passing though reproductive acting levels to creative levels. The introduction of these tasks in the school practice contributed to elevate the quality of the formative process and to reach superior levels of development of this ability.   Key words: ability, to model, experience chemical, general chemistry.

En Costa Rica se encuentra el colectivo ChepeCletas que ha encauzado sus esfuerzos en mejorar la calidad del ambiente, a través del uso de bicicletas y las caminatas, así como la recuperación de espacios para la intervención pública, con el fn de convertir a la capital en un espacio para todas las personas. Por tanto, este artículo realizó un análisis dentro del colectivo, basado en los marcos de referencia de diagnóstico, pronóstico y motivo, dando como resultado mayor conciencia del impacto ambiental que genera el uso excesivo de vehículos privados, la construcción de un grupo que se siente como familia, incrementando el empoderamiento ciudadano para el cambio social, así como el interés por la ciudad y la necesidad de retomar los espacios que siempre fueron públicos; pero habían sido olvidados. Utilizar los marcos de referencia permite comprender, desde la visión de los integrantes, qué es, qué permite y qué se hace en dicho colectivo. Sumado a esto, se debe recalcar que este artículo aporta nuevos conocimientos respecto del tema, visualiza otra forma de hacer política desde abajo y crea  espacios que integran cada día a más personas. AbstractIn Costa Rica, where the ChepeCletas collective is  to be found, eforts have been channeled to improve the quality of the environment by  using bicycles and walking, as well as the recovery of spaces bound for public intervention to turn the capital into a space for all people. Therefore, this article conducts an analysis within the group based on the diagnostic, prognostic and motive reference frameworks which result in a greater awareness of the environmental impact than the excessive use of private vehicles generates. Additionally, the  onstruction of a group that feels like family increasing citizen empowerment for social change, as well as interest in the city and the need to retake spaces that were always public but had been forgotten. The use of reference frames allows us to understand, from the point of view of the members, it’s nature, what allows it to be and what is done in said group. In addition to this, it should be emphasized that this article provides new knowledge on the subject, visualizes another way of doing politics from below and creates spaces that integrate more people every day. Maintaining security is one of public tasks that determine the quality of life of the population. This issue is the subject of much debate both social and political. An in-depth assessment of the situation requires a variety of analyzes, significant from the point of view of the implementation of appropriate, effective strategy to increase the sense of security among citizens. The aim of the paper is to compare the state of public safety in selected European countries. The study was conducted based on Eurostat data from the years 2005–2011.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools are perfect for developing tourism. Several countries are making an effort to become smart and sustainable tourist destinations, making it easier for tourists to interact with their environment while at the same time improving the quality of life for local people. There are many studies of this process and the benefits it brings, although most of them approach the subject from a western traveler’s point of view. This article aims to study the benefits of being a smart and Muslim-friendly tourist destination. An exploratory study was therefore carried out, including a bibliographical review of over one hundred secondary sources. We analyze the Muslim-friendly online services provided by nine destinations, and one of our principal conclusions is that these online services are of the greatest importance for a destination to be truly Muslim-friendly. We also conclude that such services allow companies to design tailored proposals and promote them through digital channels aimed at Muslim people.

PurposeThe purpose of this research objective was to analyse social reporting within MERCO Business companies both from the point of view of the quantity of information disclosed and the references about their quality. This approach constitutes a novelty with respect to previous literature on the subject.Design/methodology/approachThis paper assesses how social reporting is being carried out by the companies included in the MERCO Corporate Reputation Business Monitor, MERCO Business, during the period 2014–2016. The methodological design include the construction of a weighted index based on two unweighted indexes related to the quantity revealed and the quality detected. In addition, this study integrates intellectual capital and social responsibility approaches in order to deep into these voluntary disclosures.FindingsWhile social reporting is considerable from a quantitative point of view within MERCO Business companies, they do not reach very high levels of quality, which is good to counteract the final value of the quantity–quality index that the authors' propose.Research limitations/implicationsIn MERCO Business companies, quantity is not a proxy for quality within social reporting. In this sense, only considering both dimensions it will be possible to assess these disclosures in a more complete way.Practical implicationsThis study allows a more accurate and comparable view of social reporting than those studies that only focus on how much information is disclosed. Besides, it involves an important advance in the identification of the relative quality of social reporting, opening a new line of research that will be key to comparing this type of disclosures in a more homogeneous way. Likewise, the results can be applied in future studies in the intellectual capital field given the complementarity between both types of disclosures.Social implicationsLikewise, these results will be of interest for future actions aimed at regulating the improvement of the quality of social reporting in the hands of managers, investors and regulators.Originality/valueThe authors have tested the value of quality in social reporting using a weighted index amongst the most reputable companies in the Spanish scenario. These disclosures have been compared with and without the use of it in order to deduce its value to obtain valid conclusions about social reporting.

This paper presents the concept of check and balance approach in teachıng, learning and assessment processes with the development of a graphical interface tool to solve an advanced wastewater treatment design problem. The developed graphical interface improves the quality of teaching, learning, and the assessment of both, understanding the calculation approaches, as well as understanding the concepts. The tool acts as a calculator or a simulator of a unit converter, population equivalent, designing sewerage systems and selected unit processes of advanced wastewater treatment. A close-ended survey assessment was conducted with a total of 49 respondents who were the registered students for the subject of advanced wastewater treatment. About 79% of respondents agreed that it was hard to score a high mark in the advanced wastewater treatment exam. However, 100% of respondents agreed that the tool could help them to accelerate their understanding of the subject topic. All things considered, the findings of this study show that the developed tool is a potential tool that can aid in the teaching, learning, and assessment processes of any difficult subject that is taught in higher-learning institutions.

Es un reto de los educadores del colectivo docente de primer año de la carrera de Ingeniería Informática de la Universidad de Granma perfeccionar el proceso docente-educativo, a partir de que se revelan insuficientes nexos y relaciones entre las disciplinas y asignaturas del currículo de primer año, que hace que no se aprovechen adecuadamente los conocimientos previos para potenciar nuevos conocimientos de forma integrada. Por tanto, esta investigación tiene como fin elaborar un modelo metodológico de visitas a clases hacia la materialización de integración de contenidos en el proceso formativo. Es un modelo, quefacilita el problema de la integración de los contenidos académicos y proporciona una mejor contribución a la contextualización del contenido y a la calidad de los resultados en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje. Therefore, this research aims to develop a methodological model of class visits towards the materialization of content integration in the training process. It is a model that facilitates the problem of the integration of academic content and provides a better contribution to the contextualization of the content and the quality of the results in the teaching-learning process. Many modifications have been introduced in the field of medical education in recent past with a shift from didactic to more student focused teaching strategies. Modular study system for final year MBBS students was introduced in the subject of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2018 session. Objectives: To determine the students′ perception about modular teaching and various instructional strategies through feedback in the subject of Obstetrics and Gynecology at undergraduate level. Study Design: Cross sectional study. Setting: University Medical and Dental College, Faisalabad. Period: 1st January to 30th October 2018. Material & Methods: Eight modules were designed in the subject of obstetrics and gynecology for final year MBBS students. In order to ascertain the quality of teaching and to monitor the effectiveness of teaching methodologies, feedback was obtained.  A written questionnaire was designed to collect feedback. Interpretation of collected data was performed on SPSS 20. Results: Total 136 students participated in study by giving back properly filled questionnaire. Modular teaching was appreciated as an effective method by 93.4% students. Case based teaching, small group sessions and problem based learning were considered most favored teaching methods (97.7%, 97.1% and 94.85%) respectively by the students. Conclusion: Modular teaching was found to be an interesting and a useful teaching - learning experience by majority of students. Almost all students showed positive acceptance for various teaching methods. Students’ feedback was also useful in identifying course components that need improvement so that appropriate measures can be made to improve the overall quality and effectiveness of the course in future.

Resumen Para comprender los aspectos cognitivos y afectivos depende en gran medida por el gran interés que le imprimen las instancias educativas al ofrecer estrategias didácticas que permita alcanzar el máximo de los conocimientos pero sin duda alguna, la participación decidida del estudiante será determinante en su proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje favoreciendo en gran medida sus competencias académicas como parte elemental y coadyuvar su desarrollo profesional e integral. En el apartado de la Psicología educativa, los aspectos de autoeficacia y ansiedad por el simple hecho de su definición muestra un sentido controversial en el sujeto al no identificar puntualmente el estado del comportamiento que deriva dicha actitud. Esto ha generado importantes avances de investigación que contribuyan a elevar sustancialmente los métodos de enseñanza que se requiere en la actualidad. One of the main problems of the development of the land market in Ukraine is the unfinished procedure of demarcation of agricultural land. The current legislation has determined the rules for positioning of for land pieces on the locality, has identified and prescribed mechanisms for obtaining a state act on ownership. The analysis of these rules allowed to systematize the input and output data, compile their list, and to determine the executors of the process of determining of location of land pieces. As a result, has obtained a generalized model of the process in the form of a contextual diagram, which defines a single point of view on process, the subject and the goal of modeling in accordance with the requirements of current legislation. The detailed analysis of the process in Ramus Edu. made it possible to develop a functional model of its key stage of the process of developing projects of land management. The use in this process a data, that represents objects defined in a space, the need for their processing and analysis make it possible to justify the use of geographic information systems (GIS). The article offers a method of information support for process of developing of projects of land management, which based on the implement of GIS. The most difficult stage of the method is calculates of the area of land pieces on the locality. This is due to the fact that need to take into account the different quality of land and its intended use, which affects the final cost of the land piece. Possible variants of calculation generalized in a single algorithm, the result of which is the estimation of the area of the land pieces, which indicated in the state act on ownership. Software realization of some of his stages is creating too. Thus, the compilation of available information based on GIS makes it possible to create a comprehensive view of the territory to be demarcated and to make informed decisions when carrying out land parcels on the locality. An example of the realization of some of its stages on the delimitation of lands located in the Pyatikhatk natural and agricultural district of the Dnipropetrovsk region is given. Visualization of the initial data was carried out in the program ArcGIS. An example of the implementation of the proposed method confirmed the possibility to use it in the land management organizations. The introduction of this method will allow to substantiate preliminary decisions regarding the boundaries of land pieces and to shorten the time for field work when the land pieces are transferred to locality
