The purpose of this study was to: (1) knowing the level of practicality e-module based on mobile learning; (2) determine the effectivenes of using system e-module based on mobile learning in skill competency test TKJ.  The research method experimental design one group pre-test and post-test. Data were collected through multiple choice  test given to respondens before being given treatment and after being given treatment, then the data would then be analyzed using tes t. The results of the e-module practicality test throught a questionnaire distributed to students showed that the e-module based on mobile learning practicality used by students, while according to the assessment by the two media experts that e-module based on mobile learning was practical with an average score of 88.9%. Student readiness in UKK has been successfully improved using mobile learning-based e-modules. Increased readiness of students in UKK is in the medium category with a gain score of 0.4%. The T test results indicate that the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. The mean pre-test value was 78.6456 with Std.Deviation 4.85293. The highest value is 90.00 and the lowest value is Std.Deviation 6.57910. The highest score was 96.67 and the lowest score was 73.33.

The objective of this research was to find out the significance of the students’ achievement before and after learning vocabulary through Social Interaction Method at the eight class of SMP Guppi Samata Gowa. This research employed pre-experimental method with one group pretest and posttest design. There were two variables, namely dependent variable was the students’ vocabulary achievement and the independent variable was the application of Social Interaction Model in teaching vocabulary. The population was the students in the eighth grade of SMP Guppi Samata Gowa. The sample of the research consisted of 50 students which were taken by using cluster total sampling, 25 students were taken as an experimental class and 25 students were taken as a controlled class. The instrument was vocabulary test in the multiple-choice test. The multiple choice test consists of 10 items that consist of five choices. The findings of the research were students vocabulary used pre-test and post-test. The result of the data indicated that there was a significant difference between students’ post-test in experimental class and controlled class. The mean score of posttest (61.6) in experimental class was greater than the mean score of posttest (56) in controlled class and the standard deviation of posttest (8.94) in experimental class was greater than the standard deviation of posttest in controlled class (6.29). From t-test, the researcher found that the value of t-test (2.553) was greater than t-table (2.021) at the level of significance 0.05 with the degree of freedom (df) = 48.

This study aims to examine the effect of incidental learning on the comprehension of 30 English affixes by 50 Arabic-speaking EFL learners in an attempt to determine which affixes are more easily comprehended. We adopt the experimental design of a pre- and post-test to measure the participants’ knowledge of English affixes before and after the treatment, which involved taking part in the prediction of the meaning of English affixed words in context for one academic semester. To this end, we divided the 50 participants into two groups: treatment and control. We administered a 30-item multiple choice test as the pre- and post-test to determine whether the treatment helped the participants expand their knowledge of English affixes.

Background: Psoriasis is a common problem, with patients frequently reporting dissatisfaction with their care. The National Psoriasis Foundation held its sixth annual Chief Residents' Meeting in October 2004 with the goal of educating dermatology residents about psoriasis. Objective: The purpose of this study is to assess residents' knowledge about psoriasis before and after the meeting. Methods: Residents were given the same 11-question multiple-choice test before and after the meeting. Eighty-one residents completed the pretest and 41 completed the post-test. Results: Overall, the mean number of questions answered correctly increased from 5.2 of 11 (47%) on the pretest to 8.9 (81%) on the post-test ( p < .00001). Scores improved on the post-test in all subject areas. The greatest percent improvement occurred in the subjects of patient education and phototherapy. Conclusion: Although limited by small numbers and an unknown response bias, the National Psoriasis Foundation Chief Residents' Meeting was successful in educating the attendees about psoriasis; it is hoped that topic-specific resident education will lead to better patient care.

Reading comprehension is needed by students in order to have a good reading skill. In this journal, the researchers are trying to examine the implementation of NHT technique in improving students’ reading comprehension of narrative text. Quantitative used as the research method with pre-experimental research design. There are three stages in conducting pre-experimental design. First, students are given pre-test to measure their knowledge. Second, students are given the treatment and last, students are given posttest after using NHT technique. In conducting the data, the researchers spend seven times consisted of pretest, posttest, and five times treatments. As the result, the mean score of pre-test is 43.58. After implementing NHT technique in every meeting, reading comprehension of students had been getting better, it can be seen in average of the mean score of post-test became 62.45. It can be concluded that NHT technique can improve students’ reading comprehension. Keywords:  Numbered-head together, Students’ reading comprehension

The study aims to know the difference of learning achievement by poster displaying in the environmental topic. Type of the research was quasi experiment and was designed with pre-test and post-test. The population is the students in SMA Negeri 3 and 4 Medan academic year 2015/2016. The samples consists of two groups selected purpousively for each of school, grade X MIA 10 as poster making inclution group (n=40 students) and X MIA 7 as poster non-making inclution group (n=40 students). Learning method in both groups was goup discussion. In first group, used poster making inclution and poster non-making inclution for the second. Multiple choice test was the instrument for cognitive data collection and questionnaires were used for student performances. Hypothesis wass tested by t-test. The students learning achievement result showed that, the average score in poster making inclution group (74.92) was higher than poster non-making inclution group (67.13) with persentage difference is 38%. tcount with ttable is tcount > ttable ( 4.175 > 1.994) (with α=0.05 and df=78). Based on the data from research result used tcount > ttable then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. It means there is difference of learning achievement between student who were treated with poster making inclution and those treated with non-poster making inclution model on Environmental topic of Grade X in SMA at Medan Academic Year 2015/2016.

This research is to determine the effect of realistic mathematical approach on students’ learning motivation. The research method is pre-experiment of one group pretest posttest design. This study was conducted with 34 fifth grade students from a public school in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. The results indicate that students’ learning motivation significantly increases. Among six indicators measuring students’ learning motivation, the indicator of interesting activities in learning is the most increase, from 80.76% in pre-test to 86.40% in post-test. The average score of pretest in form of students’ learning motivation questionnaire before applying treatment was 90.56 while score posttest after treatment was 95,09 and the results of the research hypotheses using the comparative t-test tcount (6.997) > ttable (2.039). This means that there is an effect of applying the realistic mathematical approach to students’ learning motivation.
