One of the mandatory parts of the process of adaptation of a person in society is the adaptation of students in an educational institution. One of the most difficult periods of school adaptation can be considered the transition of a child from primary school to secondary, which is characterized by new conditions, forms of education and a change in teaching staff. It is in the fifth grade that a student is first presented with many different requirements. In addition, this period coincides with the onset of early adolescence in schoolchildren, which is considered the most difficult period in personality development. The aim of the study was to consider the specifics of additional education as one of the factors influencing the formation of socio-psychological adaptability in schoolchildren, and to identify the peculiarities of teaching children of early adolescence who attend extracurricular activities. The main research methods used were: “Scale of personal anxiety” by A.M. Prihozhan, the method of socialization of the student's personality M.I. Rozhkova, "Drawing of a Social Network." The choice of these methods was due to the age characteristics of the study participants and made it possible to make a detailed and comprehensive analysis of their level of adaptation. The results of the study made it possible to create recommendations for psychological and pedagogical correctional work aimed at overcoming adaptive and communicative difficulties in schoolchildren.

The present paper gives a review of such terms as "value" and "extracurricular activities". Secular values are to be passed from generation to generation. Family is the most traditional means of the transfer. However, educational institutions are of equal importance, though criticized at all times and under all regimes. Therefore, school must build spiritual and moral values in schoolchildren, taking in consideration the current conditions. The authors tried to answer the question how exactly the modern school should do it. The research contains an analysis of numerous foreign and domestic scientific sources, as well as the authors’ own empirical research. The research objective was to identify the psychological and pedagogical conditions for orientation of adolescents to moral values during extracurricular activities. The empirical basis was the data obtained from a survey conducted at a secondary school (Romanovskaya Station) in 2018 (N=43). The research employed methods of analysis and synthesis. The results of theoretical and empirical research can find direct application in the educational process. They may also be useful for humanitarian departments of Russian pedagogical universities that prepare students for spiritual and moral education of students. In addition, the data can be used in the system of training and retraining of teachers.

Based on the comparative analysis, the invariant elements of the model of training future teachers for the organization of extracurricular activities are determined: the goal setting of the courses "Pedagogy" and "Psychology" for the design and formation of skills for the development of personal and metasubject universal educational actions of students; the inclusion in the content of the courses of pedagogy and psychology of individual topics (modules) aimed at the formation of the cognitive component of students; organization of industrial practice on the basis of children's health camps, focused on the formation of organizational skills (leadership) activities; design and implementation of industrial practice on the basis of general education institutions, focused on the formation of skills for organizing extracurricular activities.A periodization of the stages of training future teachers for the organization of extracurricular activities of students in Russia is proposed: pre-revolutionary (1900-1917) – the stage of creating independent institutions of extra-curricular (additional) education for adults and children; Soviet (1917-1991) – the stage of formation of the state model of extracurricular, extracurricular work with children; modern (from 1992 to the present) - the stage of formation of the competence model of training future teachers for the organization of extracurricular activities. The basis for this classification is the content and orientation of the training of future teachers.

The paper examines the current situation of grammar school’ libraries, which are being trans-formed into library-informational centers. The composition of the library fund is analyzed. The article considers the features of the activity of libraries of General education institutions on the example of libraries of grammar schools in Tomsk. The main areas of activity are defined, such as library lessons, organization of exhibitions, etc. The paper considers the formats of libraries' participa-tion in the educational process and extracurricular activities (organization of events). The representation of grammar school libraries in the virtual spaceis analyzed. The document analysis method was used as the leading method. In general, the representation of libraries on the websites of educational institutions is usually very limited. On some sites, information about libraries is limited to providing brief information about the library or even to having a provision about the library (or library-informational center) as a structural division of the grammar school. The main source of statistical information was the regulations on libraries, open analytical re-ports and reports on self-examination of educational institutions. These documents are presented on the websites of grammar schools. Basic statistical information is provided in open analytical reports and self-research reports. The-se documents determine the current composition of library collections, the volume of the fund of edu-cational and methodical literature, as well as the equipment and capacity of libraries. Open reports, in addition to this information, also contain information about the activities of li-braries: the subject of exhibitions and librarian events. The websites of some grammar schools have provided library work plans, which have also be-come a valuable source of information, since they provide the greatest coverage of the topics and types of events that are held by the library. The regulations on libraries and library and information centers of grammar schools have be-come a source for defining the libraries main tasks, which can be different. The main conclusion to which the author of the article comes: despite the fact that most educa-tional institutions are focused on creating library-informational centers aimed at creating a common information environment, there is a lack of representation of the activities of high school libraries in the virtual space, which is modern and promising.
