Underweight or lack of weight is state of being caused by the lack of energy intake compared with the amount og eergy expended. A lack of energy intake or consumption of essential nutrients needed by the body can be lowered activity was done by teenager.   The result of the preliminary survey they that were undertaken in the senior high school 13 and 1 At Pekabaru, would be in the low teens 33 should be run as soon as many as 20 a teenager slipped to only their second underweight. The study aims to know about the effectiveness of media pictorial and counseling with the methods talk question and answer to behavior eat, physical activity dan sleep patterns undeweight teenagers in 13 and 1 Senior High School At Pekanbaru City. the kind of research used is (quasi experiment) with nonequivalent group pre-test post-test design. The Research is done at the July 2019. The population in this research is the entire fourth grade VII, VIII and IX. Use sampling tehniques is non random sampling. Instrumen on the study using by questionnaires, and  data anlysis be done in univariat and bivariat. The results of study by test wicolxon and Mann Whitney test, and showed there were differences in the effectiveness of the pictorial media and counseling on question and answer lectures on changes in eating behavior, physical activity and sleep patterns of underweight adolescents in 13 and 1 Senior High School At Pekanbaru City. Schools should provide adequate outreach facilities such as picture books and powerpoints. ABSTRAK Data Riskesdas 2018 menunjukkan bahwa 25,7% remaja usia 13-15 tahun dan 26,9% remaja usia 16-18 tahun dengan status gizi pendek dan sangat pendek. Selain itu terdapat 8,7% remaja usia 13-15 tahun dan 8,1% remaja usia 16-18 tahun dengan kondisi kurus dan sangat kurus. Sedangkan prevalensi berat badan lebih dan obesitas sebesar 16,0% pada remaja usia 13-15 tahun dan 13,5% pada remaja usia 16-18 tahun. Data tersebut merepresentasikan kondisi gizi pada remaja di Indonesia yang harus diperbaiki. Berdasarkan baseline survey UNICEF pada tahun 2017, ditemukan adanya perubahan pola makan dan aktivitas fisik pada remaja. Gizi merupakan salah satu faktor utama penentu kualitas hidup dan sumber daya manusia. Tujuan penelitian Untuk mengetahui hubungan perilaku makan terhadap status gizi pada siswi SMAN 2 Tambang 2018. Penelitian ini mengunakan jenis kuantitatif analitik dengan desain cross sectional.  Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa putri SMAN 2 Tambang dari kelas XI sebanyak 240 orang  dengan sampel sebanyak 71 orang. Hasil uji Chi Square didapatkan nilai p=0,01 (≤ 0,05. Ada hubungan yang signifikan perilaku makan dengan status gizi pada remaja putr di SMAN 2 Tambang.Kata Kunci : perilaku makan; status gizi;  remaja putri  RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EATING BEHAVIOR WITH NUTRITIONAL STATUS IN FEMALE ADOLESCENT AT TAMBANG STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 2 ABSTRACT  According to the report of Indonesian Health Research in 2018 showed that 25.7% of adolescents aged 13-15 years and 26.9% of adolescents aged 16-18 years have a short and very short nutritional status. In addition, there were 8.7% adolescents aged 13-15 years and 8.1% adolescents aged 16-18 years with thin and very thin conditions. Meanwhile, the prevalence of overweight and obesity was 16.0% in adolescents aged 13-15 years and 13.5% in adolescents aged 16-18 years. Nutrition is one of the main factors determining the quality of life and human resources. Nutrients are chemicals found in food that the body needs to maintain health and immunity; adolescents are one of the groups that are prone to experiencing nutritional problems. The research objective was to determine the relationship between eating behavior and the nutritional status of students at SMAN 2 Tambang 2018. This research method used a quantitative analytic research type, with a cross sectional study design. The populations in this study were all 12 students of Tambang State Senior High School 2 from class XI totaling 240 students. The sample in this study was some of the 71 class students. The results of the Chi Square test showed that the value of p = 0.01 (≤ 0.05), this means that statistically there is a relationship between eating behavior and nutritional status in young girls. Keywords: eating behavior; nutritional status; female adolescent

The aim of this research was to know whether there are significant affection of reduction language error in students essay writing by using peer, teacher and self-feedback and to investigate which the best one of the strategies on reduction language error in students essay writing. The 126 tenth grade students of one senior high school in Tangerang were chosen as the sample which taken by non-random using purposive sampling. This research used experimental method with three experimental groups design. Students’ test for pre-test and post-test were used by the researcher to collect the data. The hypothesis data was tested using formula of t-test. The result showed that there was a significant effect used peer, teacher and self-feedback on reduction language error in students writing essay at the tenth grade of senior high school, but teacher feedback is better strategy than peer and self-feedback. It means that the three feedback strategies in reducing language error are effective on improving students writing skill and the teacher feedback strategy is the most effective one among the other strategies

Background: AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) is a collection of symptoms or diseases caused by a decrease in the immune system from the body due to infection from the HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) which belongs to the retroviridae family. Teenagers themselves are vulnerable to HIV/AIDS. The right and precise knowledge of HIV and AIDS is important in HIV prevention efforts in adolescents. Method: This research is a descriptive research with cross-sectional design. The sample population of this study was grade XII senior high school students of the 2020/2021 at Methodist – 2 Medan by sampling total sampling. This study was analyzed univariately to look at the descriptive images. Result: From the results of this study, it has obtained that the knowledge level of students grade XII Methodist - 2 Medan had good knowledge about HIV / AIDS with the number of 144 people (70.6%). Conclusion: From this study, it was found that the level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS was mostly in a good category.

Being able to read in English is very important. Success in reading is the most necessary because it is a basic tool of education. Based on the syllabus of Islamic Senior high School Hidayatul Mubtadiin (MAHM), it is hoped that students should comprehend monolog texts in narrative, spoof and hortatory exposition forms well. After doing preliminary observation at MAHM, some of the students of the second year still had low ability in their reading comprehension. The dominant factors influencing their low reading comprehension are the lack of vocabulary and teaching strategy of reading comprehension. From the two of dominant factors, the researcher is interested to investigate about teaching reading comprehension. Thus, the researcher conducted a research on the effect of Multipass strategy on Reading comprehension. This research investigates students’ reading comprehension taught by using multipass strategy at MAHM Siak Sri Inderapura. The design of this study was Quasi-experimental research by post-test only. The subject of this research was the second year students of MAHM. The total population was 42 students, and the sample was 42 students. Data were collected by using a test. Then, the data were analyzed by using t-test formula. It was found that there was a significant effect of using multi pass strategy on students’ reading comprehension at MAHM.

This research aims to improve senior high school students’ physics problem-solving skills through learning used IBMR learning model. This research was a pre-an experimental study with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The Methods of data collection used validation and test. The materials used to teach were valid category by two experts and can be used to practice physics problem-solving skills. The average post-test score physics problem-solving ability was 73.24 with an N-gain of 0.59 was classified as moderate. The success of IBMR learning model-based devices in practicing problem-solving abilities can be seen in the increase in the average score in each indicator of problem-solving abilities. The indicator of understanding the problem had the highest post-test average score of 94.58 with an N-gain of 0.89 in the high category. The problem-solving indicator had the lowest posttest average score was 58.22 with N-gain 0.39 and mean that it was the moderate category. Based on the results study, it can be concluded that the learning used by IBMR learning model can practice the ability to solve physics problems on heat material and its displacement. Learning with the IBMR learning model was expected to train students in solving physics problems. The stages in the IBMR learning model can help students

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a challenging problem as the psychological changes which occur in adolescent period are much more stressful and complex. Premenstrual syndrome also known as premenstrual tension (PMT) is a collection of emotional symptoms, with or without physical symptoms, related to menstrual cycle of girls. Menstruation is a normal physiological cycle or process in all females of the reproductive age group. However some women, girls feel or affected by menstrual problem. Among those, PMS is one of the disorder and it is mainly due to hormonal imbalance in the body. Yoga which helps to harmonize the mind and breath with the body through various breathing techniques, yoga posture (asanas) and meditation which also helps in relieving pain. Yoga, tailored to chronic low back pain which helps to produce significant reduction in pain and depression. Several yoga poses helps to ease PMS and also help the mind and body to adapt with stress, anxiety and depression making to feel relaxed and calm, as well as enabling us to cope with psychological symptoms of PMS. The study was conducted with the aim to evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching programme (STP) regarding selected yoga techniques to relieve the symptoms of PMS among adolescent girls. Researcher adopted an evaluatory approach with pre-experimental one group pre-test and post-test design in the study. Self- structured knowledge questionnaire was used to assess the knowledge among adolescent girls regarding selected yoga technique to relieve the symptoms of PMS. Split half method was used to check the Reliability of the Tool and the tool was found reliable ( r= 0.88). probability simple random sampling techniques was used to select 100 adolescent girls from 3 high school. Findings revealed that the post-test knowledge score (26.49±2.48) was higher than pre-test knowledge score (10.25±2.46). The calculated ‘t’value in knowledge (51.34 p<0.05). The study found significant association between knowledge and demographical variables. Study concludes that structured teaching programme was effective in improving the knowledge of adolescent girls regarding Yoga techniques to relieve the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome.

This research explored the use of the ICARE Model to studying the writing ability at the Senior high school in Parepare. ICARE includes five essential elements of a good learning experience, can be applied to children, teenagers, and parents, namely Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, and Extension. This research involved a population from Senior high school in Parepare in the academic year 2015/2016. The students consist of two classes, an experimental class, and a control class. Each class consists of 36 students. This research utilized a cluster random sampling technique to select the sample. The instrument used in this research is the writing test. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The research reveals that there was a significant increase in students writing ability. This finding indicates that the mean score of the post-test of the experimental group is getting much better than the control class. It meant that using ICARE developed the students' ability in writing, and the writing component increased the highest is in the vocabulary aspect.

This research was design to know the effect of learning model multimedia-based toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency. The question of the research was “Is there an effect of learning model multimedia-based toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency? The objective of the research was to find out the data whether the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency. The significant of the research was expected the model can be used as reference learning model to improve the students’ English ablility.<strong> </strong>The design of the research was pre-experimental design. The research was conducted at the first-class students of Senior High School 1 Wundulako in Kolaka District. The data were collected by using English test which given at the pre-test and the post-test.<strong> </strong>In analysed the students’ test result, which the mean score of pre-test was 33,8806 and the mean score of post-test was 69,4058, while the t-table 18,55&gt;2,042 t-test. Its mean that the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility. Refering to the findings and discussions of the research, it can be concluded that the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency. It was based on the mean score in pre-test and post-test.Based on the conclusion of the research, the researcher suggests to the teacher, especially English teacher in Kolaka Regency to use learning model multimedia-based in teaching and learning process to improve the students’ English ability.

The main objectives of the research are: (1) to identify whether pictures can improve students’ paragraph writing skill for the tenth graders of Senior High School in SMAN 1 Magetan; (2) to identify the students’s motivation when the pictures are used to teach paragraph writing skill for the tenth graders of Senior High School in SMAN 1 Magetan in academic year 2018/2019. The Research was carried out at SMAN 1 Magetan, East Java, in second semester from January 2019 to May 2019. The subjects of the research are 34 students of grade X. MIPA -1 consisting of 14 boys and 20 girls. The data were obtained from several techniques: test, observation, interview, questioners, and document analysis. To analyze the qualitative data, I used interactive model; while to analyze quantitative data, I applied a descriptive statistics. It is done by comparing the mean of pre-test and post-test. There are some findings of the research which include: pictures can improve students’ paragraph writing skill for the tenth graders of Senior High School in SMAN 1 Magetan. The improvements of paragraph writing skill comprise: (1) writing topic sentence; (2) writing supporting sentences; and (3) using correct grammar and cohesive devices (conjunctions). In addition, the students’ motivation is better when the pictures are used to teach paragraph writing skill for the tenth graders of Senior High School in SMAN 1 Magetan. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that applying pictures as media can improve students’ paragraph writing. Therefore, it is recommended that the teachers can use pictures as an effective media to improve the students’ paragraph writing skill.
