DEVELOPMENT OF MATHEMATICS LEARNING PACKAGE WITH GEOGEBRA-ASSISTED SCIENTIFIC APPROACH FOR THE EIGHT GRADERS

This is a research and developmentstudy with limited trials which aims to develop the Mathematics Learning Package by using a geogebra-assisted scientific approach in the eight grade of MTs Al-Junaidiyah Biru, Bone Regency. Such learning package includes student books, student activity sheets, learning implementation plans and learning outcomes test. The subjects of this study were twenty two students of class VIIIC MTs Al-Junaidiyah Biru Bone Regency. The development procedure used in this study is the Thiagarajan model or 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) which includes four phases, namely the limitation, the design, the development, and the small scale distribution phase. Learning packagewith geogebra-assisted scientific approach that had been developed have been validated by experts and have been revised so that results are feasible to use. The results of limited trials show that the learning package produced has been practical and effective. (4) skor rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa pada tes hasil belajar adalah 78,40 dari skor ideal 100 dengan standar deviasi 11,89. Dimana 19 dari 22 siswa atau 86,36% memenuhi ketuntasan individu yang menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan klasikal tercapai.The results of data analysis are as follows: (1) teacher activities can guide groups to work and learneffectively; (2) students generally give the positive responses to the developed learning package; (3) mathematics learning package with geogebra-assisted scientific approach make students more active in the learning process; (4) the average score obtained by students on the learning outcomes test is 78.40 from the ideal score of 100 with a standard deviation of 11.89. Then, 19 of 22 students or 86.36% fulfilled individual completeness which shows that classical completeness was achieved

This study aims to know the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes by applying the concrete media-based inquiry learning model in the third grade students of SD N 4 Kaliuntu in the academic year 2017/2018. This type of research was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was implemented in two cycles. The subjects of this study were 39 students in the third grade of SD N 4 Kaliuntu in the academic year of 2017/2018. The objects of this research were the concrete media-based inquiry learning model and the learning result of Mathematics. The data in this study were collected by the test method. Data were analyzed by quantitative and qualitative analysis method. The results showed that there was an increase on the students' mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the observation result, the average value of teacher activity was 23 with good category and the average score of student activity was 51 with enough category in cycle I and there was improvement in cycle II with the average of teacher activity iof 27,5 with very category good and average student activity score of 78,5 with very good category. In addition, based on data analysis, the average percentage of students' learning achievement in cycle I was 66,67% (medium category), increasing to 85% (high category) in cycle II. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of inquiry learning model in concrete media can improve the learning outcomes of Mathematics students of third grade in SD N 4 Kaliuntu in the academic year of 2017/2018.

The research was Development Research with limited test which aimed to develop Mathematics learning devices with Cooperative Model with The Combination Of Experiences, Language, Pictorial, Symbol, Application (ELPSA) and Scientific Approach in Inequality Absolute Value, Fraction, and Irrational material which covered Lesson Plan, Students Book, and Students Worksheet. The subjects of the research were the students of class X at SMAN 2 Polewali Mandar District with the total of 35 students. The Development procedure of the research employed Thiagarajan Model (4-D) which covered four stages, namely defining, design, development, and dissemination. The result of limited test showed that (1) the average score obtained by the students in learning result test is 75.42 from ideal score by 100 with deviation standard 8.69 where 29 from 35 students or 82.85% met individual completeness which shows that classical completeness had been reached; (2) by using Mathematics learning devices with Cooperative Model with the Combination Of Experiences, Language, Pictorial, Symbol, Application  (ELPSA) and Scientific Approach, the students are more active in the learning process; (3) in general, the students gave good responses on the learning devices used; and (4) the level of teacher’ abilities in managing learning process of Cooperative Model with the Combination Of Experiences, Language, Pictorial, Symbol, Application  (ELPSA) and Scientific Approach is in good category, meaning that the teachers’ performances can be maintained. Based on the results of the research, it can concluded that Mathematics learning devices with Cooperative Model with the Combination Of Experiences, Language, Pictorial, Symbol, Application  (ELPSA) and Scientific Approach developed has met the requirement of valid, effective, and practical criteria.

  This research is a class action research (Classroom Action Research) which was carried out at SMK Muhammadiyah Watansoppeng and aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes through the use of matrix modules in class XI students of SMK Muhammadiyah Watansoppeng. The subjects of this study were 15 students of class XI SMK Muhammadiyah Watansoppeng in the 2021/2022 academic year. Data collection techniques used are learning outcomes tests and observations. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive analysis using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of the analysis showed an increase in mathematics learning outcomes. The results of quantitative analysis show that the average score of mastery of students in the first cycle of 70.53 is in the high category with the percentage of completeness reaching 60%, this indicates that students have not achieved classical mastery. And the average score of mastery of students in cycle II of 78.27 is in the high category with the percentage of completeness reaching 87%, this shows that students have achieved classical mastery. The results of qualitative analysis based on observations showed an increase in student activity in accordance with learning, namely the increase in students attending the learning process, who actively asked questions about material that was not clear in the matrix module, who exchanged opinions with other students in solving problems in the matrix module, which actively respond to other friends' questions, who are working on practice questions in the module given by the teacher, and there is a decrease in student activity that is not in accordance with learning. Based on the results of the analysis, it appears that there is a change that the use of the module is quite effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes in class XI students of SMK Muhammadiyah Watansoppeng on matrix material. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Reseach) yang dilaksanakan di SMK Muhammadiyah Watansoppeng dan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika melalui penggunaan modul matriks pada peserta didik kelas XI SMK Muhammadiyah Watansoppeng. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMK Muhammadiyah Watansoppeng pada tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 sebanyak 15 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar dan observasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar matematika. Hasil analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata penguasaan peserta didik pada siklus I sebesar 70,53 berada dalam kategori tinggi dengan persentase ketuntasan mencapai 60%, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik belum mencapai ketuntasan kelasikal. Dan skor rata-rata penguasaan peserta didik pada siksus II sebesar 78,27 berada dalam kategori tinggi dengan persentase ketuntasan mencapai 87%, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik sudah mencapai ketuntasan kelasikal. Hasil analisis kualitatif berdasarkan observasi menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas peserta didik yang sesuai dengan pembelajaran yakni meningkatnya peserta didik hadir dalam proses belajar, yang aktif bertanya tentang materi yang belum jelas pada modul matriks, yang bertukar pendapat dengan peserta didik lain dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan pada modul matriks, yang aktif memberikan tanggapan terhadap pertanyaan teman yang lain, yang mengerjakan soal latihan dalam modul yang diberikan oleh guru, dan terjadi penurunan aktivitas peserta didik yang tidak sesuai dengan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, nampak adanya perubahan bahwa penggunaan modul cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada peserta didik kelas XI SMK Muhammadiyah Watansoppeng pada materi matriks.

Abstract The objective of the study is to discover the effect of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning approach on the physics learning outcomes The study is considered as quasi-experimental research by implementing the non-equivalent, pretest-posttest as the research design. There were two science classes of SMA Negeri 1 Sindue Tobata were selected as the sample of the study. The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics learning approach was applied to the experimental class while the scientific approach was applied to the control class. The learning outcomes test obtained showed that the average score of the experimental group was 15.95 and the average score of the control group was 12.25. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, obtained that tcount=3.00 and t_(0.0975(38))=2.024 at a significance level of a=0.05. It means that the value of t_count is outside the acceptance area of H_0. The findings concluded that there were differences in physics learning outcomes between the students who were taught by using STEM approach and the students who were only taught by implementing the scientific approach in SMA Negeri 1 Sindue Tobata.

The studied aims to determined the characteristics of the development of learned devices with the problem-based learned model with a scientific approached which container the character in math subject. The research method used is a development research. Development is carried out with the preparation of valid, practical and effective tools. The learned tools developed were syllabus, (RPP) Learning Implementation Plans, (LKS) Student Worksheets, Student Books, and TKPM (Problem Solving Ability Tests). After the learned device valid then tested, the experiment was carried out by observed the learned process, process skills, students' character, at the end of the learned process did by TKPM and filled in the student response questionnaire. Data were analyzed to determined the practicality and effectiveness of the used of learned devices. The results showed: (1) the average score of the learned device validation results was 4.37 in the very good category so the devices developed were valid; (2) the application of practical learned tools because the average score of the teacher's ability to manage to learned is 3.98 in the good category and the average score of 4.36 student respons is in the very good category; (3) the application of effective learned devices because TKPM has achieved classical completed, the average TKPM experimental class better than the control class, the proportion of completed TKPM students experiment better than control class students, there is a positive influence was students' process and attitude skills towards TKPM, there is an increase in mathematical problem-solved abilities.

Abstract:This research was motivated by learning outcomes  and students response very low specially mathematic in SMA Negeri Matakali. From this condition, the observer implement cooperative learning model numbered heads together. Hopefully, this model can increase response, activity, and learning outcomes of class X IIS SMA Negeri Matakali on Linear Equation System of Three Variables. This is classroom action research was conducted on the first semester of academic year 2018/2019 of class X IIS SMA Negeri Matakali. From the results of the study obtained positive student responses. The average score of student response questionnaires increased from 3.54 to 3.79. Student activity also increases, in quantity increases from 3.13 to 3.18 .. Increases also occur in student mathematics learning outcomes from 72.31 to 79.09 in the second cycle. Thus, the Numbered Heads Together type cooperative learning model can improve student response, student activity, and student mathematics learning outcomes.Abstrak:Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena rendahnya hasil belajar dan respons siswa pada pelajaran Matematika di SMA Negeri Matakali. Peneliti menerapkan pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dalam proses pembelajaran. Diharapkan model ini dapat meningkatkan respons, aktivitas, dan hasil belajar siswa materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel  kelas X IIS SMA Negeri Matakali. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan pada semester Ganjil tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 di Kelas X IIS SMA Negeri Matakali. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh respon siswa positif. Skor rata-rata angket respon siswa meningkat dari 3,54 menjadi 3,79. Aktivitas siswa juga meningkat, secara kuantitas naik dari 3,13 menjadi 3,18.. Peningkatan juga terjadi pada hasil belajar matematika siswa dari 72,31 pada siklus I menjadi 79,09 pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together dapat meningkatkan respon siswa, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar matematika siswa.

This research is a Classroom Action Research which aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes of students of class VIII B of PGRI 1 Tamalate Makassar. The subjects of this study consisted of 35 students. Data collection techniques used are observation sheets and tests at the end of each cycle in accordance with the material being taught. From the results of the analysis in the first cycle obtained mathematical learning outcomes of students with an average score of 55.43 and a standard deviation of 18.95 of the ideal score achieved is 100. In the second cycle, improvements and additional actions from the previous cycle were held so that an increase student mathematics learning outcomes with an average score of 73.71 with a standard deviation of 14.71 of the ideal score achieved is 100. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students of class VIII B SMP PGRI 1 Tamalate Makassar experienced an increase after it was implemented teaching and learning process by applying cooperative learning type Student Team Achievement Division (STAD).

The problem on this research was that the low score of students’ learning on social science study. There werestill a lot of students that did not understand basic concepts and tended to memorize examples. It was showed by58,07% from 31 students achieving minimum criteria completeness (KKM) from students’ test score in IVCclass of SDN 108 Pekanbaru for Koperasi subject. The students’ average score was 62,4, and the KKM stated byschool was 68. Based on this problem it was needed to do an action research using cooperative learning modelsTeams Games Tournaments (TGT) type. This research aims to know whether the implementation of cooperativelearning models Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) type can improve students’ social science learningoutcomes at IVC class of SDN 108 Pekanbaru in 2013/2014 with 31students. This research was done in twocycles. First cycle consists of three meetings with one daily test and first tournament, and cycle II consists ofthree meetings with one daily test and second tournament. Instruments to collect data in this research areteacher’s observation sheets, students’ observation sheet, and tests. By implementing using cooperative learningmodels Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) type can improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes.Percentage of completeness in basic score was 54,8% (62,40 in average), and it changed into 77,4% (75,6 inaverage) in cycle I and 87,1% (81,1 in average) in cycle II. Percentage of teacher’ activity in cycle I was 81,9%and 92,3% in cycle II. Then percentage of students’ activity in cycle I was 75,4% and 92,2% in cycle II. This research is based on the low learning outcome of mathematics students of grade VIII SMPN 4 Tambang.The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics through the application ofinquiry learning with CTL approach. This research was conducted in SMPN 4 Tambang with subject of classVIII-D students with 29 students. This classroom action research was started in early January 2017. Theresearch instrument consists of a teacher and student activity sheet instrument and a test of learning outcomes.Based on the results of research and discussion can be concluded that the strategy of inquiry learning with CTLapproach can improve student learning outcomes of mathematics on the subject matter of algebraic form inclass VIII-D SMPN 4 Tambang. On the basic score the number of students who reached the KKM as many as 14people (48.28%) with an average score of 58.79. In cycle I the number of students who reach the KKM of 19people (65.52%) with an average value of 65.69%. In cycle II the number reaching KKM is 25 people (86.21%).

This research is based on the result of science learning of grade VI students of SD Negeri 018 Kubang JayaKecamatan Siak Hulu Kabupaten Kampar which is still very low. This study aims to improve science learningoutcomes. From the data analysis, there was an increase of both teacher activity, student activity, and studentlearning result. The teacher activity at the 1st cycle meeting percentage was 70% (good) and at the 2nd meetingincreased 5% to 75% (good). In the second cycle of the meeting 3 teacher activities increased 10% from 75%(good) to 85% (very good) and at meeting 4 increased 10% from 85% (very good) to 95% (very good). Judgingfrom the student activity also increased from the 1st meeting of cycle I was 65% (enough) and at meeting 2increased 15% to 80% (good). In the second cycle of meeting 3 it increases 5% from 80% (good) to 85% (verygood) and at meeting 4 increases 10% from 85% (very good) to 95% (very good). Judging from the results of thestudents also experienced preningkat, from the average score of students on a basic score of 62.78. after the firstcycle the student's average score increased to 79.44 with an increase of 16.66 points from the baseline score. Inthe second cycle student learning outcomes also increased as much as 11.67 points from cycle I with averagestudent's grade 91.11. From the data analysis there is an increase both from teacher activity, student activity,and student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the advancement of contextual learning can improve thelearning outcomes of science students of grade 6 of SD Negeri 018 Kubang Jaya Kecamatan Siak HuluKabupaten Kampar.
