The results of a comparative study of characteristics of representations about the future of 50 military personnel, 40 employees of the Prosecutor General's office, 30 students of the Luhansk People's Republic, and 30 students of the Southern Federal University (Russia) are presented. The relevance of studying the stated topic is explained. The results of the study were obtained by means of methods of content analysis of essays and psychological testing (methodology "The Events of My Life" by N.G. Nikiforov) and proved by the application of statistical procedures. The following empirical characteristics of future perceptions were identified and analyzed in each of the studied groups of respondents: “Localization of the Future”, “Prospectivity of the Future”, “Eventfulness of the Future”, “Subjectness of the Future” and “Optimism in the Future”. It is empirically established that the representations about the personal future of Luhansk students are intertwined with the future of the country and less optimistic than those of Russian students. It is shown that the representations of Luhansk military men are characterized by low subjectness, localized in the spheres of the future of the country, health and leisure-time activities; they are compressed, not concretized and unrealistic. The representations of the employees of Prosecutor General's office are characterized by greater prospectivity, eventfulness and subjectness than at the military personnel. The obtained results broaden the field of scientific representations about the factors of personal and life prospects of the subject, and also about specificity of representations of the subject about own future in crucial moments of development of a society.

Researchers have identified disclosure as an important part of sexual assault recovery among civilian survivors. However, few researchers have examined the process of military sexual trauma (MST) disclosure, including the barriers and facilitators, positive and negative reactions from disclosure recipients, and positive and negative impacts of disclosure on survivors. Twenty-three women veteran MST survivors completed semi-structured qualitative interviews that assessed disclosure experiences; responses were coded using directed content analysis. Among the 20 women veterans who disclosed MST (87%), most volunteered information that they had disclosed to informal (74%, n = 17), military (70%, n = 16), and medical sources (52%, n = 12). Among women who reported that they disclosed MST to military personnel, all reported at least one negative reaction to the disclosure, including 50% ( n = 8) who reported perceived retaliation for disclosure. Women who reported they disclosed to military personnel identified some barriers (e.g., feared consequences) that women who disclosed to non-military personnel did not. We suggest that the responses of recipients to disclosure may contribute to the impact on participants, including dissatisfaction and disillusionment with the military. We discuss unique aspects of the military context that may contribute to negative reactions. Practitioners can use this information to increase empathy and understanding of the complexity of disclosure and to help survivors process and contextualize these experiences during therapy. In this article, the object of research is the military personnel as a system, and the subject of research is the synergetic property of the system, namely the social psyche. The main objective of the study is to quantitatively describe the system microstatuses (the number of system elements, the maximum number of servicemen included in closed separate communication streams, the total number of these streams). At the macrolevel, a measure of the statistical uncertainty of the social psyche is calculated as a synergistic property of the system. The sociometry method (D.L. Moreno), graph theory and the algorithm for calculating Hamiltonian paths (N. Christophides) are used to identify any military personnel included in closed communication streams. Boltzmann's method of calculating the entropy is used as the initial entropy formula. As a result of the study, recommendations are obtained for restructuring the leadership style, using the tendencies towards organization and disorganization in the personnel making. The novelty of the article lies in formulating the problem of determining the measure of the statistical uncertainty of the social psyche, in proving the significance of the natural scientific approach in describing and identifying the elements of the system (military personnel) and in the quantitative description of the synergetic phenomena of a social group.

The advance development in tourism industry is established through interrelated systems. One of which is the online booking platform. Not only for booking, but the online website also becomes the platform for giving reviews that portrays guests’ compliments or even complaints. Those compliments are powerful to give the guests positive image about the accommodation; however, the complaints will do in the contrary way. It may lead the accommodation into negative image. Accordingly, it is necessary for the accommodation providers to handle the complaints by giving the responses or reply of the guests’ reviews. That action will become the effort to turn the guests’ disappointment into satisfaction. In order to achieve it, several English communication strategies in handling complaints were executed. This research takes the responses of 8 accommodation providers towards the guests’ review as the subject of the research. It is conducted by using content analysis method. The results yields 4 strategies that exists in the responses, namely: attentiveness that correlates with the hospitality in communication appears 100% of the total responses; explanation that presents the clarification and elaboration appears in 79% of the total responses; effort, that is the presentation of the promising action in the future, exists in 46% of the total responses and the least is apology, that is the action of saying sorry, exists in 25% of the total responses.

The most important direction of the military doctrine of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is the improvement of the events of manning military units. The degree of fitness of the soldier is currently being determined during professional selection events. The level of development of professionally important qualities is determined for the assessment of professional fitness. The following requirements are placed on the professions of such specialties as the gunner of the tank gun, and the gunner of the artillery gun: accurately determine the distance to the target, select the aiming point, correctly set the initial data on the sight scale. In turn, the scout must be able to navigate the terrain and determine the coordinates of the enemys target and objects, be able to conduct hidden observation. When selecting military personnel for these specialties, special attention should be paid to the individual properties of the eye estimation of candidates. The Eye estimation technique is a tool for differentiating military personnel depending on their ability to accurately recognize spatial intervals. The developed candidate differentiation scales allow determining the place of the subject (area number) among the entire population of candidates depending on the value of the primary indicator from one of 10 subgroups using the percentile scale and assessing the severity of a professionally important function using 10 wall scales (4 figures, 3 tables, bibliography: 8 refs).

Registered and "bearer shares in different countries and the comparison of the different regimes which govern them is the subject of this thesis· The study of this subject aims at finding out the ways in which these forms of shares are used in each particularcountry, as well as pointing out the differences and similarities, both theoretical and practical, between the different legal systemsin this respect. An attempt is also made to find out whether the distinction between registered and bearer shares is clear-cuteverywhere and in all cases and, if not, how and why these two forms have come closer to each other or have sometimes even"merged" with each other. In the Introduction of the thesis the historical development of registered and bearer shares is followed and the common "intrinsic" characteristics of shares in different countries are sought. Specific fundamental questions are then examined in separate chapters. These questions are: a) sources of law and nature of shares in the countries examined b) forms of shares (registered, bearer or "certificates") in use in these countries c) methods of their transfer d) restrictions which may be imposed on theirtransferability and e) "insider trading" as a topic connected with registered and bearer shares and their transfer. Each chapter is complemented by a comparison of the ways in which the law in different countries deals with the same question. Finally in the Epilogue conclusions from the preceding comparative study are drawn and an appraisal of the practical advantages and disadvantages of registered end bearer shares is made, pointing to the fact that the distinction between these two forms of shares has lost, in practice, much of its sharpness today. Still, it maintains some meaning in specified cases and may, for practical reasons again, dc even more so in the future.

Gen. Sani Abacha took over from Chief Ernest Shonekan's interim government which was formed when Gen Ibrahim Babangida "stepped aside". On assumption of office, Abacha was faced with the imminent disintegration of the country caused by the annulment of the June 12, 1993 election, widely believed to have been won by the late businessman, Chief M. K. O. Abiola. Also, threatening the administration was the activities of the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) both at home and abroad. The main objective of this study was to find out how the press covered Nigeria's foreign policy within 1993-1998. The study involved content analysis, historical and case study designs. The instrument for data collection included content analysis of newspaper contents library material related to the subject matter. The sampling technique used for the study is the purposive sampling, involving all the newspaper stories, features, opinion articles on the subject matter. The population included all newspaper stories published on Abacha’s regime within the period of 1993-1998. A total sampling size of 56 news stories, articles and features were selected purposively through the constructed weeks based on two days interval. Four national newspapers, namely, The Guardian, This Day, the Vanguard and the Post Express were used. From the findings of the study we concluded that press reports on the examined foreign policy did not make much impact on the outcome of these foreign policy issues since the military regime in power never wanted opposition or criticisms. Therefore, the regime went ahead to Isolate itself from main stream international politics and the press was helpless due to the fear of being gagged or proscribed as was the practice of the Abacha's administration. However, the press assumed a patriotic posture in her support for the regime's approach to Bakassi Peninsula dispute between Nigeria and Cameroun. Also the issue of peace keeping in the sub-region got the strong approval of the Nigerian press, even when a cross section of Nigerian citizens were skeptical about the regime interventionist policy in Sierra Leone and Liberia.

Title: Architectural Conservation Perspective In Javanese Community Traditionally, Indonesian, with tropical climate, use wooden material for their building. The consequences of that material and the tropical climate is building cannot durable compare stone material. The building needs renewal more frequently and sometimes reconstruction. This study focus in Java building (houses) and their culture. In Javanese manuscripts (primbon), repairing the house is the same level with build the new one. To repair or to build the house for Javanese is not only the technical aspect (like structure or the form), but also about the connection with nature and their expectation in the future. Based on that understanding what the meaning of the conservation in Javanese culture? The subject for this study is architectural Javanese manuscripts (Primbon, Kawruh Kalang, and Kawruh Griya). This study uses hermeneutics method by Paul Ricouer. There are three steps: step one is to build the conservation understanding in Javanese culture, using content analysis. Step two is validation. This step using Ngibikan Village for case study. Step three is discussion. This step exploring the philosophical aspect in Javanese culture and compare with Ricouer thinking about „history, memory and forgetting?. The result of this exploration studies that for Javanese culture, conservation not only discuss about building. Based on Javanese philosophy that live only „stop? for drink (urip mung mampir ngombe), the conservation is a process, not result; the conservation is dynamic or change, not permanent or unchanged.
