In this article, we report experiences and reflections about community relations experienced through a research intervention entitled Public policies and medicinal community garden: building a manual for use in associative projects, of the Graduate Program in Territorial Planning - PLANTERR (professional master's degree) from Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana - Bahia. The research was conducted in the Community of Bastião in Retirolândia, Bahia with the participation of 12 women members from the Bastianense association. By applying the intervention research method, we aimed to investigate the relationship between the community and medicinal plants, as well as stimulate bonds between those involved, strengthening these bonds from the daily experience of the participants, their ways of life, their expectations and the relationships they maintain with the association and the local community. The result of this research-intervention was the implementation of a community garden of medicinal plants and the production of a socio-educational manual for the implementation of this type of vegetable garden.

Writing this paper aims to provide an overview or social phenomena on the pattern of community relations from social interactions between local transmigrant communities and regional migrants. Social interactions are dynamic social relationships that involve the relationship between people and individuals, between groups of people, as well as individuals and groups of people. The formulation of the problem in writing this scientific paper is how the social phenomena in the relationship pattern of social interactions that occur between the indigenous transmigrant community (Muna) and the immigrant transmigrant community (Bali). The method used in this writing uses qualitative exploratory research with observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation.   The result of this paper is that the social phenomena in the relationship patterns of social interactions that exist in Kasimpa Jaya Village run very well and harmoniously between local transmigrant communities influenced by their development by the regional transmigrant community both in adopting the behavior, mindset and lifestyle of the local community itself, vice versa.

This article discusses the views of the Quran and the As-Sunnah in celebrating the relationship between Muslims and non-Muslims in framework of the Maqasid Shariah in Malaysia. The diversity of races and religions in Malaysia is unique and it is also an endless blessing. The tolerance inherit in Islam cause the relationship of community can be built well, it also allows us to respect each other and also one of the proof or sign of the Allah’s greatness and supremacy that has created humans in all kinds, shapes and cultures. Thus, by understanding the objectives of Islam in social relations, it will establish unity between one nation to another, where they complement each other for the purpose of peace and prosperity in a country. The differences in religion are not the cause of a country’s decline because Islam has never prevented them from practicing what they believe and they obey. It is based on Allah’s word “For your religion and for me is my religion” ( Al-Kafirun:6).The purpose of this study  was to look the extent of community relations of Muslim and non-Muslims in Malaysia. This research will use the library research method and great scripture (kitab) as a reference. The result of the study will be suggested to the appropriate authorities to create a policy or base that can maintain the unity of society. ABSTRAK Artikal ini membincangkan mengenai pandangan Al-Quran dan As-sunnah dalam meraikan hubungan antara muslim dengan non-muslim dalam kerangka Maqasid Syariah Di Malaysia. Kepelbagaian bangsa dan agama di Malaysia merupakan satu keunikan dan ia juga satu nikmat yang tidak terhingga. Toleransi yang terdapat dalam Agama Islam  menyebabkan hubungan kemasyarakatan dapat dibina dengan baik, ia membolehkan kita saling hormat menghormati antara satu sama yang lain serta ia juga salah satu bukti kehebatan dan keagungan Allah yang menciptakan manusia dari pelbagai jenis rupa, bentuk dan budaya. Maka dengan memahami objektif Islam dalam hubungan kemasyarakatan, ia bakal mewujudkan kesatuan antara satu bangsa dengan bangsa yang lain, yang mana ia saling melengkapkan diantara mereka bagi tujuan keamanan dan kesejahteraan dalam sesebuah negara. Perbezaan agama bukanlah menjadi penyebab akan kemunduran sesebuah negara, malahan Islam tidak pernah menghalang untuk mereka mempraktikan apa yang mereka yakini dan anuti. Ia berdasarkan Firman Allah "Bagi kamu ugama kamu, dan bagiku ugamaku"(Al-Kafirun: 6). Tujuan kajian ini dibuat adalah untuk melihat sejauh mana hubungan kemasyarakatan muslim dengan non-muslim di Malaysia. Kajian ini juga akan menggunakan metod perpustakaan dan menjadikan kitab-kitab yang mu’tabar sebagai rujukan. Hasil dapatan kajian akan dicadangkan kepada pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan agar dibuat satu dasar yang boleh menjaga pepaduan kemasyarakatan.

Reflete sobre as políticas públicas de inclusão digital em um contexto comunitário de favela e a questão da vigilância urbana na contemporaneidade. É baseado em resultados da tese que investigou a relação entre inclusão digital, informação e cidadania na favela Santa Marta, localizada na zona sul do Rio de Janeiro/RJ. O estudo busca apoio na fundamentação teórica de Bauman, ao analisar a questão da fusão de formas sociais e sua relação direta com o sentido de comunidade e o paradoxo entre os valores de solidariedade e do individualismo na sociedade contemporânea. Percebe que o contexto de mudança do espaço urbano da favela, com reflexo nas relações sociocomunitárias e que conduz à noção da vigilância e da insegurança, produz uma alteração no comportamento dos movimentos comunitários locais. DIGITAL “INCLUSION”, COMMUNITY RELATIONS AND SURVEILLANCE Abstract Reflects on public policies of digital in a community context slum and the issue of urban surveillance in contemporary. Based on results of the thesis, which investigated the relationship between digital inclusion, information and citizenship in the favela Santa Marta, located in the southern zone of Rio de Janeiro/RJ. The study aims to support the theoretical basis of Bauman, in discussing the question of the merger of social forms and its direct relationship with the sense of community and the paradox between the values of solidarity and individualism in contemporary society. Realize that the changing context of the urban space of the slum, with an impact on social relationships and community and that leads to the notion of surveillance and insecurity, produces a change in the behavior of local community movements.

Arguments for funding new professional sport stadia with public money center upon the notion of community—fans’ connection with the teams and the money that teams bring into the community. Through the lens of community theorists like Wirth (1938, 1964), Bellah and colleagues (1985), and Putnam (2000), this paper locates the professional sport franchise within local community relations and analyzes the ways in which local elites attempt to evoke community support (both emotional and financial) for their franchise. Following Ingham and McDonald (2003), we argue that professional sport is not an effective means for re-building any lasting sense of community. The results of town meetings held with citizens of Hamilton County, Ohio, reveal schisms along class, urban/suburban, and fan/non-fan lines, demonstrating that public subsidization of professional sport not only does not (re)generate a community-as-a-whole, but indeed may further divide residents depending upon their situated interests.

Considering the relationship nature-society, that leads us to the knowledge production process, in which pedagogical practice should be based. The interdisciplinary to respond socio-environmental questions in opposition to the developmental model, should focus in alternatives, reviewing traditional ways of life, capable to induce ecologically based practices, concerned with the sustainability. Thus, there is the perspective of eco-development, aimed at more equitable balance between economic, social and environmental issues. At "Rio Sagrado" watershed, Education's Zone for Eco-Development, in Morretes (PR) where projects are developed in order to promote the knowledge's hybridization which should interacting between folk wisdom and scientific knowledge, looking toward to solve social and environmental problems, faced by the local community. Methodologically is an action-research, which had as its main result the environmental changes' observation, which happened in that territory, where knowledge emerged from the experience and knowhow which could achieve the scientific knowledge.

Abstract This study aims to empirically challenge the moderation of Non-Performing Loans to the effect of Credit Distribution Rates on Profitability. The population of 81 bank companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2014-2018 and which met the criteria of the research sample (purposive sampling) were 22 companies. The research method uses survey methods with quantitative research approaches, the analytical tool used is moderation regression. This study concludes that the level of credit distribution has a significant positive effect on profitability and the existence of the problem loan variable is proven to be a moderating variable that weakens the relationship between the level of credit distribution and profitability.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between students’ personality and environment with their Indonesian Language ability. This research was conducted in South Tangerang City involving 392 2nd grade students. This research method used correlational method with quantitative approach by using descriptive statistics. Data was collected using an assessment scale instrument and analyzed by using correlation technique (regression). The results of this study showed that: (1) There was a positive relationship between personality and students’ Indonesian Language ability with a significant level of α = 0.05, obtained tcal 8.77 ˃ ttable 1.97. (2) There wasa positive relationship between the environment and the students’ Indonesian Language ability with a significant level of α = 0.05, which obtained 9.03 ˃ t table 1.97. (3) There was a positive relationship between personality and environment with the students’ Indonesian Language ability; with a significant level of α = 0.05, obtained tcal 7.92 ˃ t table 1.97. The Implications of the study identified that Indonesian Language ability of the students can be influenced by their personality and environment.

The relationship between the school and the community is the fabric of interaction that the school strives to be accepted in the midst of the community to get aspirations, sympathy from the community. in this article discusses the understanding, principles and techniques of administration of school and community relations. and the process and role of the teacher can be covered in this article. the writing technique in this article is SLR (System Literature Review). it is very important to know what is included in the scope of this administration. Quality communication between schools and the community is the key to determining the success of this PR management. If the relationship between the school and the community runs harmoniously and dynamically, the process of education and teaching in the school is expected to be able to achieve the vision and mission that is planned. Thus the school's output will be more qualified and able to answer the needs and demands of society.

The purpose of this study was to determine how the relationship and influence of leadership and motivation to employees performance at PT. Astra Honda Motor. The research method was used with Explanatory Analysis approach that explains the causality relationship between variables. Sampling technique was using saturated sample, all members of the population were sampled. From this research result was found there is a relationship and influence which is significant between the variables of leadership motivation to employee performance at PT. Astra Honda Motor among variables by using the test F, where F count larger than F table (32.173 > 3.158). Conclusion: There is a significant effect that can be explained by the result obtained from the R-square is 0530, which means that the variables of leadership and motivation are giving contribution of 53.0% to the variable of employees performance at PT. Astra Honda Motor, while the remaining 47.0% was contributed by other variables which not researched. Suggestions which the author convey to company, leadership which was contained in the company would need to be more increased, considers motivation of employees was good enough.
