The district Uttar Dinajpur of West Bengal is bestowed with very fertile soil, which helps to grow paddy and other agricultural crops. Cultivation of indigenous rice has been practiced by farmers since ancient times. Indigenous rice has several socio-economic, ecological and genetical aspects but the major problem lies in their comparatively low output. The diversity of indigenous rice landraces has been drastically reduced due to the introduction of high yielding varieties (HYVs). Through extensive survey it has been found that about 74 indigenous rice land races were available in different blocks of the district, but among them only about 20 varieties are now in farmers' hand while more than 70% of them are not cultivated in practical field. In India, the indigenous aromatic rice landrace Tulaipanji (GI 530) is only grown in Raiganj sub-division of Uttar Dinajpur and small pockets of Dakshin Dinajpur district of West Bengal. Due to its aroma and quality this rice could make the position in global market through proper marketing. A phylogenetic study of the rice landraces has been performed and observed that only three of them i.e., Tulaipanji, Radhunipagal and Gobindavog are closely related to each other, which also has the close lineage with the Asian wild-rice (Oryza rufipogon). Today's society demands the interaction and incorporation of scientific technology for the upliftment of indigenous rice landrace sustainable cultivation. Really it has the immense scope and prospects, which ultimately save the human life from notorious diseases.

Background: Yeasts play diverse roles in human life. Since ancient times, these micro organisms have been used to produce food products and beverages including bread and beer. Nowadays, the biotechnological products of yeast are some of the main components of commercial products. Objective: Some species of yeast such as Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Saccharomyces boulardii are recognized as probiotic yeast with extensive applications in the food and drug industries. However, certain species like Kluyveromyces marxianus are still not recognized as probiotic micro organisms despite their widespread industrial usage. In this study, the application of K. marxianus in preparing food and the medicinal product was reviewed in terms of its beneficial or harmful effects. Methods: Pub Med, Google Scholar, Scopus, and Science Direct databases were searched by using “Probiotics”, “Yeast”, and “Kluyveromyces marxianus”. Results: The findings suggest that K. marxianus can be recognized as a probiotic yeast species. Conclusion: It can be concluded that K. marxianus may be considered as a probiotic micro organism with a variety of commercial and medical applications.

Since ancient times, the need for healthy water has resulted in the development of various kinds of water supply systems. From early history, civilizations have developed water purification devices and treatment methods. The necessity for fresh water has influenced individual lives as well as communities and societies. During the last two hundred years, intensive and effective efforts have been made internationally for sufficient water quantity and quality. At the same time, human life expectancy has increased all over the globe at unprecedented rates. The present work represents an effort to sketch out how water purity and life expectancy have entangled, thus influencing one another. Water properties and characteristics have directly affected life quality and longevity. The dramatic increase in life expectancy has been, indisputably, affected by the improvement in water quality, but also in other concomitant factors, varying temporally and spatially in different parts of the world throughout the centuries. Water technologies and engineering have an unequivocal role on life expectancy. In some cases, they appear to have taken place earlier than the progress of modern medicine. Among these, improved sanitation, personal hygiene, progress in medicine, and better standards of economic living have played the greatest roles.

From ancient times, humans are striving for being healthy and to live with mental peace with family and society. In the previous centuries also, some manmade and mostly natural disasters have disturbed the pace of human life. There have been times when the whole human race has been in terror, danger, and utmost worry. The electrical gadgets also have made the human life comfortable, but also machines have dominated its consciousness. The stress, aggression, depression, and many more issues are also showing presence in all our lives. The chapter is a trial to establish the effect of yagna and mantra science over human calmness and its effect on human health irrespective to gender and age. The article also elaborates the effect of Sanskrit sound and mantra chanting on emission of radiations from electronic gadgets. It also presents the effect of spiritual practices on the human body and soul after the terror, stress, grief created due to COVID-19.

Beekeeping is one of the most common agricultural activities in the world. In addition to the world and human life, it is very important in the pollination and the efficiency of the plants. Beekeeping activities have been done since ancient times as the tradition of Anatolian people. In Turkey grows 75% of the honey plants species determined in the world. This provides a variety of honey in different aroma and flavors. Turkey with 7 796 666 beehives is in 3rd rank, with 114 471 tons of honey production is in 2nd rank and with 4 488 tons of beeswax production in 2017 is in 4th rank in the world bee products have an important role. It is important to determine future trends in developing appropriate policies for our country, which is one of the leading countries in beekeeping activities. The main aims of this study are to forecast honey and beeswax product in Turkey for 2019-2025. Arima model, which is one of the time series analysis, was used in this study. According to the results, it is expected that honey production will increase in these years. However, it is expected the increase in the production of beeswax until 2021. After 2021 year is expected to decrease a little. In our country which has great potential for beekeeping, it will be able to take place among the countries which have a significant influence in foreign trade with the effective use of production resources in the realization of activities.

The bread in one form or another has been known to people all over the world. Linguistic data and rites show that the Lithuanians have been eating bread since ancient times. Bread is mentioned in the small-form verbal folklore, songs, sagas, fairy tales, beliefs and various rites. In ancient times the bread was personalised and deified. The examples from the dialect dictionaries were also included into the research because every dialectal saying is an example of cultural message, manifestation of tradition nurturance and preservation, a part of cultural heritage, which links the past with the present. The dialectal examples show, what is deep-rooted in the tradition, what is passed down from generation to generation, what lies in the traditional value system and what makes the essence of an ethnic group. Due to these reasons the dialectal texts have a huge public or cultural value as they denote a content that is significant to a certain community. Having completed the analysis of dialectal discourse, it can be stated that various dictionaries construct the following picture of the concept bread: bread is the main meal of people, it is baked from different kinds of cereal flours, it is respected and saved, it has healing powers; the bread baked at home is the most delicious; if there is no bread, a person starves; to have bread all the time one has to work hard because baking bread is labour-intensive work, which has to be performed with knowledge and love, to make bread delicious and fragrant, calamus, cabbage or maple leaves are put under a loaf of bread, it is decorated or marked with sacred signs; an individual equals bread with human activity and appearance; bread is a measure of life, a reference point for evaluating certain actions. The place of bread in the human life is reflected by derivates as well: special things, capacities for mixing, souring, baking, slicing or keeping bread; other meals prepared from bread.

Different beliefs and practices are found in human life from birth to death. These beliefs are created by the people and are followed and protected by the mother’s community. Man has been living with nature since ancient times. Beliefs appeared in natural human life. Hope can be traced back to ancient Tamils and still prevails in Tamil Nadu today. The hope of seeing the omen in it is found all over the world. Proverbs show that people have faith in omens. Our ancestors wrote the book 'Gauli Shastri' because the lizard omen is very important in our society. The word lizard played a major role in Tamil life during the Sangam period. It is possible to know that people have lived by the benefit of the lizard. There is hope from the public that the sound of the lizard will predict what will happen next. The purpose of this article is to illustrate the lizard word that has been around for a long time in folklore.

The article deals with one of the most popular techniques in Belarusian magical medicine — the so-called historiolae, the essence of which is to recall precedent situations. This implies that the “disequilibrium of being, which has arisen in human life at the present moment (e.g. a disease), is restored according to a sacred pattern that took place in the past”. The texts declare connections between different levels of the worlds, past and present, but to the same extent between the microcosm and the macrocosm, erasing all distinctions between the real and the supernatural worlds. The present time of these charms prevents the transfer of the patient and the healer to ancient times of the myths. Instead, it is the sacred world that spreads around the requester. The most common form of such charms includes a narrative that relates certain events in Christian history, primarily describing the life of Christ or of one of the saints. A particular place among the narrative manifestations of historiolae is occupied by references to the Passion of Christ. These narratives, in turn, possess powerful life-affirming and healing potential. It is not the logical correspondence of a specific comparison in an incantation that is central, but the very desire to place the situation of treatment in an appropriate context. A number of texts from the author’s field records and archival materials are introduced here into scholarly circulation.

"Reflections on the concept of objective art in the context of contemporary art. Objective art communicates about the human being and his/her place in the universe, about the cosmic laws and the role they play in human life and provide clues as to how man can relate to them. From literary sources attesting to the idea that art in its origin had the role of transmitting knowledge to future generations, we deduce that in ancient times all art forms could be read like a book, and those who knew how to read, fully understood the meaning of the knowledge that was incorporated in these art forms. Nevertheless, there are two forms of art, one very different from the other: objective art and subjective art. Everything that we call art today is subjective art. Objective art is the authentic work resulted from the deliberate, premeditated efforts of a conscious artist. In the act of his creation, the artist avoids or eliminates any subjective or arbitrary element and the impression that such a work evokes in others is always defined. Many opinions about colors are popular, but most of the artists nowadays follow the opinion of Aust Wald, according to their opinion, the main colors are yellow, red, blue and green, these are four and the ideal color is eight. The first four colors are called primordial (vatpahdans) colors and the second four i.e. purple, sky, orange and dhani are called second colors (Aambavadakantal). Apart from this, there are three colors and black, white, khaki (oval), these are called neutral colors (chamanjatans), they are mostly used to decrease and increase the color of other colors. The psychological impact of these colors has on human life, which has been considered the origin of colors on this Vasundhara since the birth of creation. Since ancient times, there have been different beliefs in terms of colors, such as red color - passion and revolution, black color - inauspicious, negative, green color - optimism brings happiness, blue color - peace, white color - purity brings reconciliation etc. Through colors on the canvas of paintings, the artist, in his silent language, shapes happiness, pain, agony with his imaginations and transmits his feelings to another. These pictures have many colors, we just have to understand them. There are many colors in nature which awaken the feeling of happiness in our mind and provide new energy. In today's time, imagining a world without colors for a moment is not only difficult. While colors have a special place in life, in the world, whatever we see with our eyes, the effect of color is first visible because many colors are present in the world. रंगों के विषय में अनेक मत प्रचलित है पर आजकल के अधिकांश कलाकार आस्ट वाल्ड के मत को ही मानते है इनके मतानुसार मुख्य रंग पीला, लाल, नीला और हरा ये चार होते है और आदर्श रंग आठ होते है। प्रथम चार रंगों को मौलिक (व्तपहदंस) रंग कहते है और दूसरे चार अर्थात बैगनी, आसमानी, नारंगी और धानी को द्वितीय रंग (ैमबवदकंतल) कहते है। इनके अतिरिक्त तीन रंग और है काला, सफेद, खाकी (ळतंल) इनको तटस्थ रंग (छमनजतंस) कहते है इनका प्रयोग अधिकतर अन्य रंगों की सुषमा (ज्वदम) को घटाने और बढ़ाने में किया जाता है। इन्ही रंगों का मनौवैज्ञानिक प्रभाव मानव जीवन पर पड़ता है जो सृष्टि के जन्म से ही इस वसुन्धरा पर रंगो की उत्पत्ति का प्रार्दुभाव माना गया है। प्राचीनकाल से ही रंगो के संदर्भ में अलग-अलग मान्यतायें रही है जैसे लाल रंग - जोश एवं क्रांति, काला रंग - अशुभ, अनिष्ट, हरा रंग- आशावादिता खुशहाली, नीला रंग - शान्त, सफेद रंग - पवित्रता सुलह आदि का परिचय देता है। रंगो के माध्यम से चित्रों के कैनवास पर कलाकार अपनी मौन भाषा में खुशी, पीड़ा, व्यथा को अपनी कल्पना शक्ति से आकार प्रदान कर अपनी भावनाओं को दूसरे तक पहुंचाता है। इन चित्रों के अनेक रंग रूप होते है, हमें सिर्फ उन्हें समझना पड़ता है। प्रकृति में बहुत से रंग है जो हमारे मन में खुशी की भावना जागृत कर नई उर्जा प्रदान करते है। आज के समय में क्षण भर के लिए बिना रंगों के संसार की कल्पना कठिन ही नही असम्भव है। जहां रंगों का जीवन में विशिष्ट स्थान है वहीं संसार में हम अपनी आंखों से जो कुछ भी देखते है उनमें सबसे पहले रंग का प्रभाव दृष्टिगोचर होता है क्यांेकि सृष्टि में अनेकों रंग विधमान है।

Knowledge of cardiovascular diseases and improved diagnostic capacity is rapidly expanding with the advancement of medical sciences. However, heart diseases are a challenge to human life. Few important therapeutic targets for cardiovascular diseases were collected from mining of various bibliographic sources. Different proteins and bioactive small molecules are taken into consideration for target search. From ancient times, medicinal plants are shown to have remedial effect on cardiovascular system of human body, yet their modes of action are not completely understood till now. Selected plant derivatives, which have been examined under in vitro conditions to be effective against various heart diseases, were subjected to molecular docking with proposed targets using a bioinformatics tool, Hex 8.0. We have explored eight targets for five types of cardiovascular diseases and ten different ligands from herbal plants with a brief description about the cardiovascular diseases, their symptoms, target, ligand, source of the ligand and their mechanism of action. All the reported synthetic and phytocompounds were found to have good binding energies with all potential disease targets. Among all, Forskolin is found to be the best inhibitor of Angiotensin II type I receptor with the E-score of -369.96 for Atherosclerosis.
