The sar culture is the pre-existing culture of the Kanum tribe whose implementation is aimed to maintain and preserve nature. Sar culture not only has a positive influence on the environment, but it also represents symbolic violence against women and the Kanum people. This research is aimed to describe sar culture based on the theory of habitus and symbolic violence by Bourdieu. This research involved a qualitative descriptive method, in which the data was obtained from in-depth interviews with Kanum tribal head, Kanum tribe elders, and some village residents involved in sar, observation in Naukenjerai district, and supported by literature review. All collected data were then analyzed descriptively according to the concepts of habitus and symbolic violence by Bourdieu. The research results show that sar culture is a habitus resulting from an interaction between human beings and their nature that has existed for long before. Besides that, there is symbolic violence to the Kanum women and also to the Kaum people, which done by the Kanum men and the leaders of the Kanum tribe as the dominant actors.

In Indonesia, the most common forms of domestic violence experienced are physical, sexual, psychological and economic neglect. As a result, it can cause physical and psychological injuries. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the victim's recovery in order to strengthen the victim to be more empowered, both physically and psychologically. This article aims to describe and analyze the recovery implementation for domestic violence victims in Indonesia using the literature review method. The recovery implementation of domestic violence victims is carried out by building communication between relevant stakeholders so that cooperation is established in providing services to victims of domestic violence in accordance with their respective duties and responsibilities. The participation of external parties such as NGOs or women's organizations can assist in providing protection and assistance so that victims can still benefit from the policy even though there are still limitations from the government. The benefits of counseling services can help victims to grow confidence in living life. Empowerment through training can provide provisions for a more independent life. Obstacles faced by the government include: limited budget for handling cases of violence, especially violence against women; the number of assistants and counselors in some areas is still lacking; many room of special service facilities are inadequate and the distribution of safe houses is not evenly distributed in each area.

This text is structured as a literature review article in which the socio-historical dimensions of violence against women are discussed. To this end, the following discursive itinerary is envisaged: a) the role of the State in regulating the order of war, in short, violence; b) the resumption of the discussion on the institutionalization of patriarchy; c) the reaffirmation of the position of Feminism as a device for living and combating violence, and, finally, some final considerations about the genesis and reproduction of violence against women are presented. Thus, this undertaking corroborates with previous studies that highlight the mode of social organization as the foundation on which the patriarchy's discursive prerogatives that foster violence against the female social body are sustained.

Language and media are effective entities to perpetuate male domination over women. Both are representations of various social conflicts, interests, power and hegemony. Through Psychological analysis, this study aims to reveal how both of them can establish the process of 'marginalizing' women. This study used a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The results showed that violence against women in language and the media is an invisible form of violence. Language is something that has a purpose (teleology) in itself, which is conditioned by various environmental interests. In patriarchal culture, language is used to build a bad image of women with the aim of strengthening the position of men as the dominant group. The bad image is then transplanted by the media, made into a universe of discourse and implanted into collective consciousness as the public's subconscious imagination. As a result, whether we realize it or not, women are treated in a subordinate way, but also define themselves in a subordinate way according to men's eyes.

Bahasa dan media adalah entitas yang efektif untuk mengekalkan dominasi laki-laki atas perempuan.
