Achievement of optimal performance can be done if nurses have career development and competence, besides that nurse satisfaction is also a determining factor in Nurse performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of career development and competence on job satisfaction and performance. The population in this study was the Staff Nurses. The sampling technique is Saturated Sampling (Sensus). The sample in this study were all staff nurses who worked in the inpatient ward of the AWS Samarinda regional general hospital, totaling 201 staff nurses. This research was analyzed using the SmartPLS program. The results of this study indicate that career development has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, competence has a positive and not significant effect on job satisfaction, career development has a positive and not significant effect on nurse performance, competence has a positive and significant effect on performance, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Nurses performance, job satisfaction has mediates between career development and performance on Nurses AWS Samarinda regional general hospital. The shortage of professional nurses in a hospital is to threaten service quality and patient safety. Inadequate compensation, no career development, and dissatisfaction can increase turnover intention. Increasing professional nurses' resilience is better than recruiting new nurses from an economic perspective. The research analyzed the effect of compensation and carrier development on job satisfaction and the impact on nurses' turnover intention in a private hospital in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. A quantitative research design with the cross-sectional approach was used. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. The samples consisted of 47 nurses who made a self-reported by filling out the questionnaire. Data analysis used Partial Least Square. The study found that compensation and career development had direct and significant effects on Turnover Intention. Moreover, compensation and career development also had indirect and significant Turnover Intention effects through job satisfaction as the intervening variable.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, medical personnel received much heavier workload than normal. On top of it, stigma and low appreciation of the community for medical personnel leads to increase of both physical and psychological pressure. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of leadership, workload, and work environment on nurse satisfaction and performance. The sample in this study were 246 nurses who worked at Bali Mandara Hospital. Data was collected through questionnaire distributed online using google form platform and the data was processed using SmartPLS 3.2.1. The results of the study found that: (1) leadership, workload, and work environment had a positive and significant effect on nurses' job satisfaction; (2) leadership and nurse satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on nurse performance, workload has a negative and significant effect on nurse performance, and work environment has no effect on nurse performance; and (3) nurse job satisfaction mediates the influence of leadership, work load, and work environment on nurse performance.

<div><p>Teachers often find themselves frustrated at work because of conflicting expectations concerning their professional and social roles within the community. This paper looks at the effect of teachers’ perception of their profession on their satisfaction at job and performance. The authors employ a survey design in private schools in Yei Town, South Sudan to establish the impact of these perceptions. Simple random sampling technique was used to select the respondents from ten private schools. The respondents’ therefore included 10 head teachers, 100 teachers giving a total of 110 respondents. Questionnaires were used for data collection. Data collected was analysed by the use of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 12.0 was and presented in frequencies and percentages and a regression analysis performed to establish the relationships among the variables. The study findings indicated that a considerable number of the teachers (38.9%) indicated that teacher’s own perception of their own profession does not affect the teachers’ job satisfaction and performance.</p></div>

The background of this research is the low performance of Paket C tutor in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima. This is allegedly due to the low satisfaction of the tutor's work. The purpose of this research is to make the job satisfaction of tutor, to describe the performance of the package tutor, and to see the relationship of job satisfaction with the performance of the Paket C tutor in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima. This research is correlational research, with population is tutor of Paket C which amounted to 33 people, sample taken 90% from population that is 30 people with sampling technique that is simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, and data collection tools using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques to describe job satisfaction and performance tutor using the formula percentage, and to see the relationship of job satisfaction with the performance tutor technique data analysis using product moment correlation formula. The results of this study indicate that (1) the satisfaction of Paket C tutor in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima is low category, (2) the performance of tutor of Paket C package in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima category low, and (3) there is a significant relationship between job satisfaction with the performance of Paket C tutor in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima. It is suggested to the manager to improve the work satisfaction of tutors in terms of feelings of pleasure in work and a good working environment for the performance of tutors can increase.

The performance of the employee produces the quantity and quality that the employee gains on the actual behavior shown in accordance with the responsibilities given to him. This study aims to examine the effect of compensation on employee performance with job satisfaction as intervening variable. Problems that occurred at the Office of Regional Finance Agency of West Sumatra Province is the issue of leadership to employees who neglect in work, in the employee's work is not timely completion of tasks given by the leadership example in the manufacture of letters not on time and delay in work. Population in this research is civil servant at Regional Finance Board of West Sumatera Province. The sample in this study amounted to 30 respondents, the study was selected by using purposive sampling technique. The data were collected from respondents and analyzed by simple linear regression, t test, test of test, and path analysis test. The result of the research shows that compensation has an effect on employee performance positively and significantly. Compensation affects job satisfaction positively and significantly, job satisfaction on employee performance and job satisfaction have positive and significant effect directly to employee's compensation and performance. This means that high job satisfaction in accordance with compensation will bring high performance employees at the Regional Finance Agency of West Sumatra Province.

One important factor in sustaining the company's existence in advancing quality and performance management is the mastery of capabilities possessed by human resources and the clarity of career development. A clean and healthy company is certainly due to good employee performance. Employee performance will improve if employees are given the training to improve their abilities and also a clear career development program. This study aims to determine the effect of training and career development on employee performance. The unit of analysis in this study is individual employees of academic civities. The population in this study is all employees of academic civities which amounted to 63 employees. The sampling technique in this study was carried out with saturated sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear analysis. The results showed that training and career development both partially and simultaneously had a significant effect on employee performance.

In today era of knowledge economy where organizations excel due to its human capital in order to provide quality product and service. The human capital can only be effective if organizations provide effective trainings to its employees regularly and need basis. Such training leads to not only over all organization’s development but it affects the job satisfaction and performance of employees. The research purposes are to know about the title of the research which is conducted about Plastic Industry of Hayatabad, District Peshawar. A total of 184 middle and lower managers were selected for the study through proportionate stratification sampling technique. Five point Likert scales, adopted and used by several researchers, were utilized for the research study. The results of study found that employee’s training has a major significant impact on employee performance and job satisfaction. The results also revealed that training has a positive correlation among the two variables. The research study recommended several recommendations such as provision of on the job and of the job trainings through systematic training program, establishment of a training center, linking trainings with the strategic plan of the firms.

Abstract: Job satisfaction is a pleasant or unpleasant emotional state where employees viewwork. Leadership style is a behavior pattern designed to integrate organizational goals withindividual goals, to achieve a goal. Objective: To analyze the relationship between theleadership style of the room's head and the satisfaction of nurses at Bhayangkara Hospital.Samples: taken with a total sampling technique, which amounted to 49 people. Researchdesign: analytic descriptive with cross sectional approach and sampling technique of 49people Univariate analysis aims to explain and describe each researcher variable. In general,this analysis only describes the distribution and percentage of each variable that will beanalyzed by univariate analysis. Bivariate analysis is an analysis carried out on two variablesthat are allegedly related or correlated, namely data analysis to see the independent variable(Head of the room leader style) and the dependent variable (Nurse satisfaction). The test usedis the Chi-square test (x ^ 2). Results: The Chisquare test obtained a value of p = <0.05 =0.008. Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between the leadership style of the headof the room and the job satisfaction of nurses in Bhayangkara Manado Hospital.Keywords: Leader Room Style, Nurse Satisfaction.Abstrak: Kepuasan kerja merupakan keadaan emosional yang menyenangkan atau tidakmenyenangkan dimana para karyawan memandang pekerjaan. Gaya kepemimpinanmerupakan pola tingkah laku yang dirancang untuk mengintegrasikan tujuan organisasidengan tujuan individu, untuk mencapai suatu tujuan. Tujuan: Menganalisis hubungan gayapemimpinan kepala ruangan dengan kepuasan perawat di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara. Sampel:diambil dengan teknik pengambilan total sampel, yaitu berjumlah 49 orang. Desainpenelitian: deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan teknik pengambilansampel 49 orang. Analisa Univariat bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan mendeskripsikan setiapvariabel peneliti. Pada umumnya dalam analisis ini hanya menjelaskan distribusi danpresentase dari setiap variabel. Variabel yang akan di analisa dengan anlisa univariat tingkatkepuasaan kerja perawat. Analisi Bivariat merupakan analisa yang dilakukan terhadap duavariabel yang diduga berhubungan atau berkolerasi yaitu analisa data untuk melihat variabelindependen (Gaya pemimpin Kepala ruangan) dan variabel dependen (Kepuasan perawat). Ujiyang digunakan adalah uji Chi-square (􀝔􀬶). Hasil penelitian: Uji Chisquare didapatkan nilaip= <0.05 =0.008. Kesimpulan: terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinankepala ruang dengan kepuasan kerja perawat di di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Manado.Kata Kunci: Gaya Pemimpin Kepala Ruangan, Kepuasan Perawat.

Background: Nepal has one of the world’s highest maternal and neonatal mortality. In Nepal, 73% of delivery is take place at home without trained attendant. Delivery by trained persons is 27% which reflects the need for attention of women's health in particular reproductive health.Objective: To assess knowledge and performance skills of nurses regarding maternal and neonatal health.Methods: Descriptive analytical study was carried out on nurses working in selected primary health care center of eastern region of Nepal. Random sampling technique was used to select 10 PHC and purposive sampling technique was used to select nurses in different primary health care center. Nurses were interviewed using pre-designed questionnaire and performance skill check list. Collected data were entered in SPSS 10.5 software package and analyzed.Results: The study showed that knowledge of auxillary nurse midwife/staff nurse was satisfactory in antenatal, intra-natal and post natal care of mother while they were relatively poor in newborn resuscitation. ANM/staff nurses showed very poor skills i.e. only 16.7%, 36.7% and 7% were competent in providing antenatal, intra-natal and post natal care respectively. Unfortunately none were found to be competent in newborn resuscitation.Conclusion: Birth handling competence levels are generally low in ANM/Staff nurses working in PHCCs Health Renaissance 2015;13 (1): 30-39

The aim of this study was to determine the influence of organizational culture and compensation on job satisfaction and its implications on the intention to move the nurse at the Regional General Hospital dr. Soekardjo Tasikmalaya. The results of this study can be useful practically and theoretically, i.e. as material development management of human resources, especially nurses in order to improve the quality and productivity of hospital services as well as lowering the intention of migration of nurses. The research method uses a quantitative approach, with the nature of this research was descriptive and verification. How to capture data through interviews and questionnaire with the techniques of observation and field Study, with the sampling technique of sampling is simple. The collection of Data in the field is done in 2019. Statistical analysis techniques to test hypotheses using Path Analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the culture of the organization, compensation, job satisfaction and intentions to move in general is pretty good. There is the influence of organizational culture and compensation as well as job satisfaction simultaneously on work satisfaction, as well as have a negative effect on the intention to move from the nurses in the Regional General Hospital dr. Soekardjo Tasikmalaya.
