Elementary School 3 of kemiri, located in Jabung District, is a school that is experiencing difficulties in developing Green school programs. the surface of the land in the schoolyard is rarely found. Most of the teachers assume that the program must require sufficient land and land media. Limited land and several facilities in the learning process to realize the green school program requires the right solution. Hydroponic technology has been known as an alternative technology for crop cultivation in limited land. In hydroponic technology, there is plant cultivation technology without the use of soil. The utilization of used objects as planting media can be arranged in stages with a vertical garden (vega) pattern, which is called vega hydroponic technology. Therefore, the purpose of this activity is to provide strengthening of environmental education through planting with hydroponic technology. To achieve the targets and outcomes, the activities carried out are as follows: 1) counseling the school about the importance of environmental education, 2) Training on management and cultivation of various types of vegetable and ornamental plants with vega hydroponic technology to create a green, and beautiful school;3) Hydroponic technology installation with vertical garden patterns, and 4) Assistance in planting vegetables and ornamental with vertical garden pattern hydroponic technology. In addition, the average pretest obtained by the teacher was 6.87, while the average understanding of students was 5.5. While the results of the post-test, the understanding of the teacher and students were 8.37 and 6.625. This shows that there is an increase in teacher understanding by 1.5 points and 1.13 points for students so that students' and teachers' knowledge of environmental education has increased.

APPLICATION OF GINGER PLANT CULTIVATION TECHNOLOGY IN THE YARD BASED ON HEALTH AGRICULTURE IN BOKOR VILLAGE, MALANG DISTRICT. House yard is one of the lands that have the potential to be developed. The yard can be used by growing high-value commodity crops. To get high yields and productivity, Farmers must choose the right and proper cultivation techniques. Besides, to get the results in the form of healthy food products, the cultivation process must be carried out by reducing the input of chemical compounds into the farm business. Therefore, community service activities were carried out in Bokor Village, Tumpang Subdistrict, Malang Regency. It was aimed to utilize the house yard by planting ginger based on healthy agriculture. The target group is farmers in the Subur Farmers Group. The stages of activities which were carried out were counseling on the use of house yards, training in ginger cultivation, providing assistance in planting materials and media, and making demonstration plots. The results of community service show that farmers want to try to use the yard by planting ginger in their yard. It also increased knowledge of farmers about ginger cultivation following Good Agricultural Practice so that the use of the yard with proper agriculture-based ginger cultivation can be developed.

Environmental stress is a major challenge in sustainable food production, because it can reduce crop productivity, specifically chilies on sub-optimal land. The use of liquid organic fertilizers containing complete macro and micro nutrients is highly needed, so that plants thrive and are healthy and are more resistant to pathogens. This activity aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of farmer group partners about healthy plant cultivation technology on sub-optimal land. Assistance activities were carried out for the Hasrat Indah farmer group in Kerato Village, Unter Iwes District, Sumbawa Regency, during July 2020 by using extension and training methods. The results of the activity indicated that this assistance activity can improve the farmers’ knowledge about healthy cultivation of chilies, and the application of fertilizers at the right time by using liquid organic fertilizers. The successes achieved in the process of empowering farmers in this activity included increasing farmers’ knowledge of soil health, healthy cultivation of chilies, and the application of using liquid organic fertilizers. Abstrak Cekaman lingkungan merupakan tantangan utama dalam produksi pangan berkelanjutan, karena dapat mengurangi produktivitas tanaman, terutama pada tanaman cabe di lahan sub optimal. Penggunaan pupuk organik cair yang mengandung zat hara makro dan mikro lengkap sangat diperlukan agar tanaman tumbuh subur dan sehat serta lebih tahan terhadap patogen.  Tujuan kegiatan adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra kelompok tani terkait teknologi budidaya tanaman sehat di lahan sub optimal. Kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan pada kelompok tani Hasrat Indah di Desa Kerato Kecamatan Unter Iwes Kabupaten Sumbawa,  selama bulan Juli 2020 dengan metode penyuluhan, dan pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa melalui pendampingan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan petani tentang budidaya sehat pada tanaman cabe, aplikasi pupuk pada waktu yang tepat dengan menggunakan pupuk organik cair. Keberhasilan pemberdayaan petani dalam kegiatan ini adalah petani mengetahui tentang kesehatan tanah, budidaya sehat tanaman cabe, dan aplikasi penggunaan pupuk organik cair.

Environmental education creates environmental behaviour of people. Children are social agent who plays prominent role for shaping future life. In order to create environmental consciousness generation environmental education should be delivered to children. This paper reports community engagement activity through providing environmental education for first to third grade of primary school children. The delivery process of environmental education to children was transferred through movies and games. Two movies were played to children have attracted them to understand of the prominent of putting trash to the right litter bin. Meanwhile, game simulation for practicing waste separation resulted 96% of children were able to put rubbish in the right litter: organic, paper and plastic litter. Children who did wrong argue that they made mistakes due to time limit which influenced them to put to the right litter.

The issue of environmental pollution has come to the attention of the world community and has become a strategic issue in sustainable development, so it needs to have the support of all parties, including the government, the private sector and educational institutions. Integrated Junior High School Lampang, Subang Regency West Java Indonesia has been implementing the green school program since 2008 and in 2019 it was entrusted by the West Java Education Office to be proposed as a national level green school program. Some achievements as a green school implementing school are private schools that have obtained "A" (exellent) accreditation with a beautiful environment and are able to fulfil 4 (four) components, namely (1) environmentally sound policies, (2) implementation of environment-based curriculum, (3) participatory-based environmental activities and (4) management of environmentally friendly supporting facilities Keywords : Management, green school Isu pencemaran lingkungan hidup telah menjadi perhatian masyarakat dunia dan menjadi isu strategis dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan, sehingga perlu mendapat dukungan semua pihak baik pemerintah, sector swasta maupun lembaga pendidikan. SMPS Terpadu Lampang Kabupaten Subang telah melaksanakan program adiwiyata sejak tahun 2008 dan pada tahun 2019 diberi kepercayaan oleh Dinas Pandidikan Jawa Barat diusulkan sebagai Sekolah Adiwiyata (green school program)  tingkat nasional. Beberapa capaian sebagai sekolah pelaksana green shcool  adalah sekolah swasta yang telah memperoleh akreditasi “A” (Unggul) dengan lingkungan asri dan mampu memenuhi 4 (empat) komponen yaitu (1) kebijakan berwawasan lingkungan, (2) pelaksanaan kurikulum berbasis lingkungan, (3) kegiatan lingkungan berbasis partisipatif dan (4) pengelolaan sarana pendukung ramah lingkungan Kata Kunci : Manajemen, Sekolah Adiwiyata

After school programs provide low income students and students of color with learning opportunities across both academic and non-academic domains that such students would otherwise not get. In this study, we examined the intersection of school characteristics (e.g., enrollment size, percent minority enrolled, and percent eligible for FARM) and the types of after school programming schools offered (e.g., fee-based, 21st CCLC, and other types) using binary logistic regression models. I n a sample of schools ( n = 1,601) surveyed by the National Center on Education Statistics 2008 FRSS, we found that under-resourced schools had lower odds of having a 21st CCLC program and higher odds of having a fee-based after school program (than schools with a lower percentage of students receiving FARM). That is counter to the stated goals of the 21st CCLC program. These findings highlight the need for a re-prioritization of 21st CCLC funding such that financial assistance provided to schools to support after school programs is allocated to schools serving students from low income families and communities.

Arabic mufradat is an element of various language elements, where the richness of vocabulary is part of the indicator of language proficiency. In reality, vocabulary learning often encounters obstacles, therefore choosing the right media is part of an effort to overcome the existing difficulties. This study aimed to test the effectiveness of the puzzle in improving Arabic vocabulary skills. This study was conducted with a quasi-experimental approach where data were obtained through pre-test and post-test. Based on the results, the use of puzzle games as learning media was effective to improve mufradat skills.

Febrile seizure rate on toddler was quite high and tended to increase every year. This was because as toddler experiencing febrile seizures they were not properly handled by the parents. Febrile seizure in toddler if not treated quickly can affect the increasing in seizure frequency and can cause death. The capability of mother in handling febrile seizure must be based on the right knowledge of febrile seizure. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of the mother before and after health education based on 10 steps in handling febrile seizure on toddler in Bandar Lampung Adventist Hospital. Experimental research method with one group pretest-posttest designed with random sampling technique approach involving 80 mothers with 0 to 5 year old who had fever being hospitalized. The researchers prepared 10 images of steps in handling febrile seizures randomly and asked the respondents to arrange the pictures according to their knowledge. The results were observed to determine their knowledge rearranging as pretest data. Afterward, health education was given about 10 correct steps. Thereafter, reobserved was made and the knowledge in arranging 10 images was obtained as post test data. The knowledge score before health education was 20.75% and after was 83.75%. While the analytical test used paired t test. The results showed a significant relationship between knowledge before and after health education. p value = 0.00 < 0.05. The results showed that the value of tcount (14.26) > t table (2.26). Increased knowledge in mothers reduced the risk of recurrence of febrile seizures in toddler and the nurse who had not tought these steps needed to run regularly to the mothers whose child was being hospitalized.

The Implementation of The Managerial Roles of The principals of Fastrack Fun School and Rumah Citta Kindergarten.The aim of this research is to reveal the implementation of the managerial roles of the principals of Fastrack Fun School and Rumah Citta kindergarten in (1) school programs, (2) school potentials, (3) activating school personnel and (4) school personnel work accomplishment. This research used the qualitative approach. The subjects consist of principals, teachers and employees. The data were collected through observations, interviews and documents. The data analysis used a triangulation methodology. In this research, the interview with the principals was triangulated with the result of the interview with the teachers and employees. The result of this research reveals that the principal of Fastrack Fun School and Rumah Citta Kindergarten plan the school program, including the Sentra and renstop involving teachers and employees. The principals organize the staff in which they can work in their field and potentials, so they can work without overlapping activities, and with specific job descriptions and good coordination so they can achieve the school goals. The principals activate commanding the employees by advising and directing intensively regularly in order to make them work correctly according to the goals. These principals evaluate and conduct the employees in order to make them work and achieve their goals.
