One important part of the rank of an educator at STIE Kesatuan is required to understand the processes in applying for promotion by completing complete documents, consisting of education and teaching, scientific work, community service and support. So far, the process of increasing the functional position of educators is based on the results of the processing carried out based on the work unit in the HRD. For the sake of appropriateness of the process of increasing the academic position of lecturers and the suitability of the points required, a support system for the decision to increase in academic functional positions is made for educators. The data used are in the form of previous rank files along with educational and teaching files, scientific papers, community service and support. The econometric analysis method is used to calculate statistically. The test results carry out structural and functional checks to determine whether the system being made is in accordance with the design or not.   Keywords: Decision support systems, Data flow diagram

Desktop mendeley application is actually an application intended to facilitate the creation of citations and a list of libraries commonly used by the authors, so the authors will be pressed error in making the bibliography and facilitate in obtaining the writings to be cited. In addition to creating scientific papers, this application can also be used to manage the files of online journal articles that are the output of a scientific work. Furthermore, participants can utilize this application for the purpose of making a bibliography or collection of abstracts of certain fields of journal articles subscribed. Training activities undertaken in Community Service activities show that participants have a material understanding and the potential to make refernsi managers better and maximum by utilizing mendeley desktop applications.

Increase of Functional Position and the rank of lecturer is something that must be done by the lecturers. Because it is a performance parameter of the lecturer. Periods and rules for the increase of functional jabtan and lecturer rank have been arranged in Permenpan and RB No. 17 Year 2013 JO No 46 Year 2013. For that need the existence of management and service from Higher Education to monitor its lecturers to be in a timely manner to perform functional positions and lecturer rank. In support of the above, it is necessary that the supporting technology capable of assisting the service in the university. The technology we built a decision support system for the promotion of functional positions and rank of lecturers, to facilitate the management and service to lecturers in monitoring the process of promotion of functional position and rank of lecturer. As to the complexity data transmission and processing of web to print(W2P) system, The input and output of these data are analyzed and classified in this paper, based on the actual demand of ShangHai TongKun Digital Printing Enterprise, structure analysis method are used to construct the data model of W2P as a form of Data Flow Diagram(DFD), and then the single order’s business flow model are built with Uniform Model Language(UML). At last, both the two models are combined to illustrate the corresponding relationship in the data exchanges. This study is helpful to analyze data of W2P system and can decrease risk during software’s development.

The tuition fee payment system is a mechanism for transferring funds charged to students for educational institutions to expedite the lecture process in terms of learning and teaching. Design of an SPP Payment Information System at Hasnur Polytechnic Using the Codeigniter 3 Framework was created using the programming language PHP, codeigniter framework 3 and database MySQL. This application was made in order to facilitate the financial section for managing payment data and students can find out the tuition payments they have made and will be paid. The research method uses a waterfall from the analysis stage to application testing. Then the system design is carried out using DFD (Data Flow Diagram) and design is interface also done at this stage. Furthermore, writing the program code is done using the PHP programming language and the codeigniter framework. Then the results of the study were tested using the method black box testing. The test results state that the program is in accordance with the described functional require.

                                                          AbstractUnderstanding research methodology and information literacy are two important things in writing scientific papers systematically and structured manner and producing perfect work. In this community service, we focus on how to provide basic level training on the application of research methods and information literacy; this is useful not only for writing scientific papers but also for providing a solid basis for processing data and sorting information more accurately measurably and correctly. Furthermore, this community service will continue to be developed so that SMA Negeri 3 Semarang gets the best things in terms of technological knowledge and research. To face global competition, research methodology and information literacy become a guide for producing works that can positively contribute to society. Therefore, this training is very useful to develop the things that have been mentioned above. The method used is to conduct needs analysis, research, interviews to find out the problem, then the implementation of training activities for students at SMA Negeri 3 Semarang. The result of this community service is that students will understand the basics of research methodology as the basic concept of writing scientific papers and the basic concepts of information literacy to be able to sort or select information and/or data more accurately so that the scientific work produced can be of high quality and provide a positive impact on society. Pada pengabdian masyarakat ini, kami berfokus bagaimana memberikan pelatihan tingkat dasar mengenai penerapan metode penelitian dan literasi informasi, hal ini berguna tidak hanya untuk penulisan karya ilmiah tetapi memberikan dasar yang kuat dalam mengolah data dan memilah informasi secara lebih akurat, terukur dan benar. Lebih jauh lagi, pengabdian masyarakat ini akan terus dikembangkan agar SMA Negeri 3 Semarang mendapatkan hal-hal yang terbaik dari sisi pengetahuan teknologi dan riset. Dalam rangka menghadapi persaingan global, maka metodologi penelitian dan literasi informasi menjadi sebuah panduan untuk menghasilkan karya-karya yang dapat memberikan kontribusi positif kepada masyarakat. Oleh sebab itu, pelatihan ini sangat berguna untuk mengembangkan hal-hal yang sudah disebutkan di atas. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah melakukan analisis kebutuhan, riset, wawancara untuk mengetahui masalah, kemudian pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan terhadap siswa di SMA Negeri 3 Semarang. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah siswa memahami dasar-dasar metodologi penelitian sebagai konsep dasar penulisan karya ilmiah dan konsep dasar literasi informasi, sehingga siswa dapat memilih informasi dan/atau data secara lebih akurat sehingga karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan dapat berkualitas tinggi dan memberikan dampak positif kepada masyarakat. Lecturer is one of the most important components in the organization of higher education. Promotion and position is a trust and appreciation given to the lecturer for the achievements that have been achieved. Obtain information of factors related to promotion and position of lecturer at Health Polytechnic of Ministry of Health. Cross Sectional method research in June-October 2017. Data collected using Likert Scale Questionnaire. The research was conducted on permanent lecturer of Health Polytechnic of Kemenkes Jakarta I who has functional position of 60 people. Sample amounted to 47 people (response rate 78.33%). Data were processed and analyzed univariate, bivariate and multivariate. Lecturers characteristic variable has no significant correlation with promotion and position of lecturer with p value > 0,05. Components of PAK that have significant relationship with promotion and lecturers position are education and teaching variables with p value 0,024 and value of OR 19,808 and research variable with p value 0,007 value OR 40,798. The variable of community service and supporting activities is not significant with p value > 0,05. PAK management system has a significant with p value 0,004 value OR 19,918. Significant variable on promotion and position of lecturers is education and teaching, research and management system of PAK. The variable that has the greatest relationship with promotion and position of lecturer is research. An intensive training for lecturers is required for the publication of scientific papers in national and international journals and to reward lecturers who publish scientific works to improve motivation to work.

Abstract. The level of knowledge of students and lecturers who are still not sufficiently knowledgeable in finding appropriate reference sources in making scientific papers is still happening at the Harapan Bersama Polytechnic. Currently, the number and quality of citation sources for writing a bibliography of a student's scientific work that is produced is about 80% unsuitable which results in not infrequently students and lecturers who still need to increase their knowledge of digital literacy. The proposed community service activity is a workshop activity to increase knowledge and ability in examining library sources as a literature study of scientific papers. In this activity, the reference manager introduction material was given as a tool to find library sources. The method used in this activity is to use the synchronous method through online media. The training provided provides increased knowledge for students and lecturers to better understand and be able to use Mendeley's reference management software as a tool in their search for digital literacy. The results of the evaluation of activities through interviews with participants, it shows that there is an increase in knowledge and a very good response from the training participants and wants the next training to be carried out again.Keywords: Increased Knowledge, Mendeley, Reference Manager, Workshop, Literation DigitalAbstrak. Tingkat pengetahuan mehasiswa dan dosen yang masih belum cukup pengetahuan dalam pencarian sumber referensi yang tepat dalam pembuatan karya tulis ilmiah masih terjadi di Politeknik Harapan Bersama. Saat ini, jumlah dan kualitas sumber sitasi penulisan daftar pustaka sebuah karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan sekiar 80% belum sesuai yang mengakibatkan tidak jarang mahasiswa dan dosen masih perlu meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang literasi digital. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang diusulkan adalah sebuah kegiatan workshop untuk menambah pengetahuan dan kemampuan dalam menelaah sumber pustaka sebagai studi pustaka karya ilmiah. Pada kegiatan tersebut diberikan mengenai materi pengenalan reference manager sebagai alat untuk mencari sumber pustaka. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah menggunakan metode sinkron melalui media online. Pelatihan yang diberikan memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan bagi mahasiswa dan dosen agar lebih memahami dan dapat menggunakan software pengelola referensi Mendeley sebagai alat bantu dalam pencarian literasi digital. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan melalui wawancara dengan peserta menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan respons yang sangat baik dari peserta diklat dan menginginkan agar workshop selanjutnya dilaksanakan kembali.Kata Kunci: Mendeley, Peningkatan Pengetahuan, Reference Manager, Workshop, Literasi Digital

The development of information technology in the digital era is currently increasing and also influencing the world of education. This also affects students' ability to be able to take advantage of applications relating to the development of digital literacy skills, especially in writing scientific papers. In the world of academia, currently scientific work is one of the demands and even obligations, so it also demands students to follow its developments. The increasing prevalence of plagiarism cases in academia is also a scourge for students, especially for students in the final level of Ponorogo Regency, here the sample is students of Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare from the beginning how literacy procedures properly and correctly through the help of a program application so that later students are able to make good manager references. The method applied in this community service with partners, namely students of Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo, especially in semesters 6 and 8, will be introduced to the Mendeley desktop program application in making citation of scientific papers. The output achieved in this service activity is a national community service scientific journal with ISSN. This community service activity has been successfully carried out for two online meetings. The first online meeting activity provided an explanation of the function of the mendeley desktop program, the function of tools in the mendeley desktop program and assisting students in the use of the mendeley desktop in making scientific papers. At the second meeting, continued assistance was carried out on the use of the Mendeley application and confirmation in making scientific papers with the help of the Mendeley desktop application. Keywords: Mendeley Desktop, Scientific Papers, Reference Manager, Training.  Perkembangan teknologi informasi dalam era digital saat ini semakin meningkat dan juga mempengaruhi dalam dunia pendidikan. Hal ini berpengaruh juga dalam kemampuan mahasiswa untuk bisa memanfaatkan aplikasi-aplikasi yang berkenaan dengan pengembangan kemampuan literasi digital, khususnya dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Dalam dunia akademisi saat ini karya ilmiah menjadi salah satu tuntutan bahkan kewajiban, sehingga menuntut pula bagi mahasiswa untuk mengikuti perkembangannya. Semakin maraknya tentang kasus-kasus plagiasi dalam dunia akademisi juga menjadi momok bagi mahasiswa khususnya bagi mahasiswa di Kabupaten Ponorogo tingkat akhir, disini sample adalah mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Oleh karena itu, perlu disiapkan sejak awal bagaimana tata cara literasi dengan baik dan benar melalui bantuan suatu aplikasi program agar nantinya mahasiswa mampu membuat referensi manager dengan baik. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini dengan mitra yaitu mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo khususnya semester 6 dan 8 akan dikenalkan tentang aplikasi program mendeley desktop dalam pembuatan citasi karya ilmiah. Adapun luaran yang dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah jurnal ilmiah pengabdian masyarakat  nasional ber ISSN. Kegiatan pengabdian ini telah berhasil dilakukan selama dua kali pertemuan secara daring (online). Kegiatan pertemuan daring pertama dengan memberikan penjelasan materi fungsi program mendeley desktop, fungsi tools dalam program mendeley desktop serta pendampingan mahasiswa dalam penggunaan mendeley desktop dalam pembuatan karya ilmiah. Pada pertemuan kedua dilaksanakan pendampingan lanjutan penggunaan aplikasi mendeley serta konfirmasi dalam pembuatan karya ilmiah dengan bantuan aplikasi mendeley desktop. Kata Kunci: mendeley dekstop, karya ilmiah, referensi manager, pelatihan.

Edamame grade is determined based on edamame quality parameters with several parameters that are quite a lot. The process of deciding edamame grade is relatively complicated and challenging. To determine the edamame grade, an experienced expert in the field is needed. With limited grading experts, the design of expert systems for grading edamame can help users or companies to determine edamame grade.  This study aims to design an expert system for determining edamame grade, which can determine the quality of edamame accurately. The Design of an expert system in this research uses the forward chaining method.  The stages of designing an expert system include problem identification, knowledge acquisition, building a data flow diagram, compile the database, building a decision tree diagram, and developing a user interface. The results showed that the expert system has been verified and validated well. Verification test results show that all the menu buttons on the expert system application are functioning correctly. Then, the validation results also show that the edamame quality output produced by the expert system is compatible with the expert solution, meaning that the expert system's output data is by following with the results of the decision given by the expert. In testing the validation of determining the quality is appropriate.  The results of the verification and validation of the edamame grading expert system show that the expert system has produced satisfactory outcomes. Expert system output is compatible with the solution provided by the expert.

The purpose of community service is so that the teachers at MIT Ar Roihan Lawang can make scientific articles and publish them. The target audience of this activity includes all the teachers at MIT Ar Roihan Lawang, amounting to 100 people. This activity involved the Community Service Team consisting of 3 lecturers and several students as resource persons and assistants. The method of implementation is the classical approach and individual approach. The classical mentoring activities of writing scientific papers were successful. An understanding of the concept of scientific works, writing scientific papers, as well as searches of internationally reputed journals has increased significantly. Based on the results of the evaluation, it can be concluded that this service activity was successful in achieving its objectives. The results of devotion activities that can be obtained is an increase in understanding related to the concept of scientific work, writing scientific papers, and journals that contain scientific work by the teacher. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu agar para guru di MIT Ar Roihan Lawang dapat membuat artikel ilmiah dan mempublikasikannya. Khalayak sasaran kegiatan ini meliputi seluruh guru di MIT Ar Roihan Lawang yang berjumlah 100 orang. Kegiatan ini melibatkan Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang terdiri dari 3 orang dosen dan beberapa mahasiswa sebagai narasumber dan pendamping. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu pendekatan klasikal dan pendekatan individual. Kegiatan pendampingan klasikal penulisan karya ilmiah berjalan dengan sukses. Pemahaman tentang konsep karya ilmiah, penulisan karya ilmiah, serta penelusuran jurnal bereputasi internasional mengalami kenaikan signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil dalam mencapai tujuan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian yang bisa diperoleh yaitu terjadi peningkatan pemahaman terkait konsep karya ilmiah, penulisan karya ilmiah, serta jurnal yang memuat karya ilmiah oleh guru.
