One of the most dangerous ectoparasites that infects poultry is the red chicken mite (Dermanyssus gallinae), which causes dermanisiosis, which is widespread in many countries around the world, including all regions of Ukraine. The article shows the basic biological and ecological characteristics of the red chicken mite Dermanyssus gallinae. gallinae is a carrier of infectious and viral diseases including: Salmonella gallinarum, Salmonella enteritidis, Chlamydia spp., Borrelia anserine rhusiopathiae, Listeria monocytogenes, Coxiella burnetii, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus sрр., Marek's disease, Newcastle disease and other dangerous poultry diseases. gallinae causes significant economic damage due to reduced egg productivity, quality of poultry products and increased culling and death of poultry due to depletion. The article analyzes the market of insecticides registered in Ukraine for the control of red mites. The effectiveness of preventive and curative measures in the battle against D. gallinae largely depends on the method and desacarization medication. Among the existing methods of control against D. gallinae remains chemical because synthetic insecticides have a wide range of action, while destroying a number of pests from different groups at different stages of development. To prevent outbreaks and spread of mites in poultry farms, it is necessary to systematically implement a set of organizational and veterinary measures, taking into account the biological characteristics of the development of existing ectoparasites in the farm and technological cycles of poultry.

This article describes the advantages and infrastructural features of the resort of Truskavets - the most developed spa resort in Ukraine. It is emphasized that this resort has a developed network of different types of accommodation: hotels, sanatoriums, boarding houses, villas, which have more than 26,550 beds. A wide range of medical and health services is provided. The marketing strategy of development of the city which includes formation of a tourist brand is developed. Based on the data of the SWOT-analysis, the operational goals and objectives for achieving the strategic goals of the resort development were determined. Comparing the goals and real changes, the achievements and problems of the resort were identified to achieve the strategic goal: "Truskavets is the capital of health. The leader among the balneological resorts of the world with the unique healing water Naftusya. Western Ukrainian Center for Medical and Cultural Tourism, Sports, Beauty and Longevity, with a developed infrastructure, high social and economic standards. " Many tasks have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, which has caused significant economic damage to the city. In addition, the development of the resort is hampered by negative factors related to the solution of issues at the legislative and administrative levels. The modern logo of Truskavets indicates that the uniqueness of the brand is based on water resources, but it does not fully represent the tourist and recreational potential of the city. In the minds of potential consumers, the city is perceived only as a place where you can improve your health. Mostly middle-aged and older people are interested in it, the city does not attract young people. In Truskavets, the range of services of the sanatorium-resort complex is expanding and the quality of service is improving. But, despite the developed system of accommodation facilities, the development of territorial tourist products is slow. The potential of the subregion and the surrounding centers of culture and tourism is not fully used. The material and technical base of Truskavets, in addition to medical and health tourism, allows to develop business, excursion, cultural and educational, entertainment, sports and other types of tourism.

. Pteridium species around the world are aggressive, very productive, functionally closer to shrubs than ferns. Their rhizomes, buried deep and rich in starch, allow them to survive repeated fires and their efficient uptake of nutrients allow them to exploit a wide range of soils (McGlone et al., 2005). Mechanical methods. Tillage and cultivation. On lands that are not too steep or rocky, a good reduction in fern coverage can be achieved by plowing from late June to early August. The goal is to plow deep in order to expose the rhizomes, leaving them undisturbed throughout the winter and followed by the spring sowing

One autumn out of four, election forecasting surpasses baseball as America's national pastime. Then, everyone wants to know who will win, and everyone has a guess. Now, with the ballots carefully counted, forecasters await their awards. Below, I evaluate the quality of a wide range of 1984 presidential and congressional forecasts. The evaluation proceeds from nonscientific to scientific approaches, although this distinction is sometimes blurred. To lower the level of suspense, I should say that some forecasts turned out to be quite good. By way of conclusion, I offer a set of rules for selecting a high-quality forecasting instrument.Lucky GuessesMany popular election forecasting rules take advantage of chance, which has been working in their favor. Perhaps the most famous is the World Series forecast, which says, “If the American League wins the World Series, then the Republican presidential candidate will win.” This technique was accurate from 1952 to 1976, missed in 1980, but worked again in 1984 with the victory of the Detroit Tigers. A lesser known rule of this type, which is my personal favorite, is based on the Beaujolais wine harvest. Accordingly, “If the Beaujolais vintage looks bad, then the Republican will take the presidency.” This has held post-1960, and continues to do so with the poor 1984 crop (yielding a wine too light, with little color). There are other such rules that relate more directly to the candidates themselves and, in that sense, have more verisimilitude.

Ornamental plants are cultivated for decorative and utility purposes in urban landscapes throughout the world. They are much valued for their aesthetic properties and constitute an important part of the global horticulture industry. Plant viruses and viroids of various taxonomic groups have a significant negative impact on ornamentals provoking a wide range of symptoms, reducing both decorative value and quality of propagated material and causing large economic damage. A significant growth of the ornamental plants market in recent years promotes the spread of viral diseases. Therefore, systematization of data on virus and viroid phytopathogens diversity in these cultures is an urgent research task. Among the most popular ornamentals are chrysanthemum, rose, clematis, canna, and lavender. More than fifty viruses and viroids from 17 different families (including two viroid families) have been identified in these crops to date. In the presented review, we described the variety of these pathogens and their effect on the above-mentioned ornamentals

ABSTRACT Salmonella spp. are among the most important agents of foodborne diseases all over the world. Human Salmonella outbreaks are often associated with the consumption of poultry products (meat and eggs), and one of the most prevalent serotypes associated with these products is Salmonella Enteritidis. Brazil is one of the most important poultry exporters in the world. In southern Brazil, three closely related clones of Salmonella Enteritidis have been responsible for the majority of foodborne Salmonella outbreaks over the past decade. However, until now, there has been little information regarding the clonal relationship among the Brazilian Salmonella strains of avian origin and those involved in foodborne outbreaks. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to complete the molecular characterization of Salmonella Enteritidis strains isolated from poultry and food sources involved in Salmonella outbreaks. PCR ribotyping was performed to discriminate the strains into different ribotype profiles according to the banding pattern amplification. This technique was able to differentiate the Salmonella Enteritidis strains into two banding patterns: R2 and R4. R2 accounted for 98.7% of the strains. DNA sequencing of the 600-bp fragment, present in all ribotypes, was applied to confirm this result. The sequences generated showed high levels of similarity, ranging from 99.7 to 100%, and were grouped into a single cluster. These results suggest that there is a clonal relationship among the Salmonella Enteritidis strains responsible for several salmonellosis outbreaks and the strains collected from poultry sources.

Introduction. Obtaining high-quality and safe poultry products is impossible without an integrated approach and competent solution of biosafety issues in farms. In conditions of poultry rearing using intensive technologies, the problem of ectoparasitic poultry damage, in particular the chicken tick Dermanyssus gallinae, is quite acute. The defeat of the bird by temporary and permanent ectoparasites is the reason for the deterioration of the quality characteristics of poultry carcasses. The goal of the work. The purpose of our research was to determination of the quality of poultry meat when affected by ectoparasites. Materials and methods of research. These studies were conducted under the conditions of the Department of Veterinary Expertise, Microbiology, Zohygiene and Safety and Quality of Livestock Products of Sumy National Agrarian University. For the study, carcasses of poultry of slaughter conditions were selected from a farm unsuccessful for the red chicken tick Dermanyssus gallinae. Results of research and discussion. In the course of the studies, it was proved that the slaughter yield of meat in chickens that were infected with ectoparasites was less compared to the slaughter yield of poultry meat obtained from farms or poultry houses that are relatively ectoparasite. In the meat of sick poultry, the moisture content increased by 2-3% and protein by 1-2%, while at the same time reducing the amount of fat by an average of 4%. As a result of studies, it was found that the changes found in meat indicated the development of pathological processes in meat, which led to the intensification of spoilage processes. Studies of carcasses obtained from healthy poultry found that they retained freshness for 9 days, and carcasses received from sick poultry, already for 5 days did not match the freshness of meat. Conclusions and prospects for further research. Based on a set of studies, we found that the qualitative indicators of meat of healthy and sick poultry differed. Intravital damage to poultry by ectoparasites caused changes in the chemical composition of meat, a decrease in its calorie content and biological value. In the future, it is planned to determine the qualitative characteristics of poultry carcasses in the associated course of nematodes and aсarosis.
