Educational activities about digital consumer insight to build SME promotions in the Tangerang City environment are carried out to help micro and small-scale businesses in the Tangerang City environment to develop the businesses they run. This activity was attended by 22 participants and was held in Cibodas Village in March 2020. The method used is 1) counseling and introduction to online business development, especially regarding consumer behavior in the digital era, 2) education about the activities and stages that consumers go through in making purchase decisions on various online platforms, 3) tutorials for consumers targeting on online platforms, 4) tutorials on utilizing the results of analysis of consumer information to develop marketing communication strategies in online platforms, 5) interactive discussions, and 6) evaluation. In particular, business development is focused on promotional activities on online platforms by utilizing information about consumer behavior in the digital era. This information is the result of previous research on the "consumer journey on social media". The result of this community service activity is the development of participant understanding regarding consumer behavior on social media, increased understanding and ability of participants in utilizing various features and facilities of social media for business purposes, and increasing participants' ability to create business content on social media. In conclusion, it is known that community service activities aimed at increasing the understanding and technical capabilities of MSME actors need to be carried out and developed to support the empowerment of the micro, small, and medium industrial sector in Indonesia.

Technological developments have significantly changed the way how a business works, especially the culinary business named Seblak Jeletet Murni, that has located in Jakarta. This business is still relatively new, but consumers continue moldy and this spicy culinary product sales have been continue to increase. This phenomenon is a result of business which has entered the digital era in social media. Marketing of this product is not done intensively by the owner of this business, but consumers who moved to market virally in social media, especially social media video youtube. In this article the author analyzed descriptively about consumer behavior in digital marketing that has affected the sales of the culinary products. The analyzes were performed with case studies and associated in the literature on consumer behavior and digital marketing strategies. This article aims to describe the behavior of consumers in the digital age so that it can be input in determining the marketing strategy culinary efforts forward and be used for thought on the future of consumer research. This community service activity is continuously carried out to develop the creativity of mothers in producing innovative and attractive products. This activity involves training and assistance in preparing financial and marketing reports. This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Sukolilo District and STIESIA Surabaya. MSMEs in Sukolilo District experienced several obstacles related to preparing financial reports, marketing that utilized social media, and other technical obstacles. After this mentoring activity, MSME managers gained several benefits, including having started compiling financial reports. Marketing training activities are carried out using Instagram social media as a means of producing products. In this activity, assistance was carried out to create an Instagram account, taking photos of products to be uploaded on Instagram, assisting in uploading product photos on Instagram accompanied by product descriptions so that they could attract consumers. This activity is carried out to improve the business carried out from the management aspect. The target to be achieved is that MSME players have financial reports that can be used to submit funds or capital to banks for business development, expand marketing networks, and increase sales.

Abstrak: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini tujuan untuk mengembangkan usaha dan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dalam menghadapi era digital saat ini. Strategi yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan usaha dan meningkatkan omzet pada era digital saat ini sangat berbeda dengan era-era sebelumnya. Pada era digital ini lebih banyak memanfaatkan media digital (online) baik itu dari segi promosi, layanan maupun penjualan. Strategi pengembangan usaha yang diberikan adalah dengan cara mendaftarkan Café tersebut ke aplikasi pengantar makanan online seperti Go-Food dan Grab-Food agar konsumen dapat berbelanja secara online. Selain itu, untuk metode promosi lebih baik menggunakan media sosial seperti Facebook (FB) dan Instagram (IG). Metode untuk peningkatan kinerja adalah dengan cara memberikan bonus kepada karayawan yang rajin dan disiplin. Berdasarkan pengamatan tingkat pemahaman mitra rata-rata sebesar 70%. Hasil yang diperoleh oleh mitra setelah 3 bulan menerapkan metode ini adalah meningkatnya omzet penjualan sebesar 40% dari sebelumnya.Abstract:  Devotion to this community aims to develop business and improve the performance of employees in the face of the current digital era. The strategy used to grow the business and increase the turnover in the current digital period is very different from the previous ages. In this digital era, more utilizing digital media (online), both in terms of promotion, service, and sales. The business development strategy provided is to register the Café to an online food introduction application such as Go-Food and Grab-Food so that consumers can shop online. Besides, for a better method of promotion using social media such as Facebook (FB) and Instagram (IG). The method for performance enhancement is to provide bonuses to diligent and disciplined employees. Based on the average partner's understanding rate of 70%. The results obtained by the partner after three months of implementing this method is an increase in sales turnover of 40% than before.

The role of social media is very important for the advancement of various fields in this digital era. The existence of a pandemic and the rules that have been set, such as restrictions on the application of community activities have made many small and medium businesses, especially culinary products, have to sell their products online. The Faculty of Tourism of Pelita Harapan University has invited partners of Culinary Department SMKN7 to carry out Community Service (PkM) through a webinar entitled Training on the Use of Social Media in Promotion of Culinary Products. This PkM provides training to students of the Catering Department to be able to sell culinary products that are produced to be easily accepted by the community by utilizing the role of social media. This PkM is expected to be a lesson to broaden your horizons on how to use promotional strategies by maximizing the use of social media roles in promoting culinary products you want to sell. The method used is to conduct webinars with the zoom application. This webinar provides the results of a better understanding of the participants to increase creativity in developing strategies for compiling the content of the culinary products produced so that they are more accessible to the public.

The focus of community service is the empowerment of women through the business development of wedang uwuh traditional beverage. Wedang uwuh is a traditional beverage that is famous among the people of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Wedang uwuh is a hot or warm beverage that has a sweet and spicy taste with bright red and fragrant aroma. This community service is motivated by the problems: the wedang uwuh business does not yet have a permit for household industrial products (PIRT), the manager does not understand how to market and make branding of wedang uwuh, wedang uwuh does not have packaging that fits the market target tourism, and others. To overcome this problem, in this service a variety of wedang uwuh business development activities were carried out: (1) efforts to manage PIRT permits, product marketing, and branding communication training, marketing training via social media, wedang uwuh packing training, and facilitation of business development tools and appropriate packaging tourist target

The current era of digitization is known as the digital era 4.0. It is said that the digital era is due to the massive use of the internet in the community. But unfortunately not a few people can see the opportunity to use internet services is a potential market to market the products and services they produce. So we from the TEAM of the Faculty of Economics, University of Bina Sarana Informatika, carried out Community Service activities in the form of Training on Introduction and Utilization of Social Media to Increase Sales of Hydroponic Products for Youth and Youth RW 03 Sumber Jaya Village, Tambun Selatan District, Bekasi Regency with the aim of encouraging and improving the abilities of the Karang Taruna youth and residents of Sumber Jaya Village who are now able to produce hydroponic vegetables, so that they can develop their business by increasing sales through social media. Since the Covid-19 outbreak, which was followed up with PSBB and PPKM, it has had an impact on traders and entrepreneurs in increasing their product sales, as well as hydroponic agricultural products pioneered by youth organizations and residents of RW 03 Sumber Jaya Village, Tambun Selatan District, Bekasi Regency. The results of this training are expected to open up the insight and knowledge of youth organizations and residents of Sumber Jaya Village in utilizing social media to increase sales of hydroponic agricultural products they manage.

ABSTRAKMedia sosial telah merubah gaya hidup masyarakat di era digital yang perkembangannya kini semakin pesat. Media sosial dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat di berbagai bidang kehidupan, tak terkecuali di bidang pendidikan. Penggunaan media sosial selain untuk mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar, juga sebagai media promosi institusi tersebut kepada masyarakat luas. Popularitas media sosial mempengaruhi rating dan bagaimana seseorang menciptakan branding untuk diri mereka. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang efektif agar media sosial yang digunakan dapat memberikan manfaat yang optimal. Aspek lain yang tak kalah penting adalah menjaga keamanan informasi data diri seseorang di akun media sosial. Oleh sebab itu, pengetahuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran diri akan pentingnya menjaga keamanan informasi data diri perlu terus digalakkan, terutama di kalangan guru yang menjadi penggiat media sosial baik untuk kepentingan pribadi maupun institusi. Menjawab kebutuhan tersebut, maka diadakan workshop tentang keamanan data diri dan konten media sosial. Tujuan diadakannya workshop ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran akan pentingnya menjaga keamanan data pribadi sekaligus mempelajari strategi tentang peningkatan popularitas konten di media sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan workshop ini adalah dengan penyampaian materi dalam bentuk ceramah, hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu sebanyak 90% guru di SMP Negeri 3 Purbalingga menilai bahwa workshop ini sangat bermanfaat untuk menambah pengetahuan dan meningkatkan kesadaran dalam menjaga data pribadi di akun media sosial. Kata kunci: pengabdian masyarakat; workshop; media sosial; keamanan; data pribadi. ABSTRACTSocial media has changed the lifestyle of people in the digital era. Social media is used in various fields, including education. The use of social media is not only to support the teaching process and learning activities, but also to promote the institution to the wider community. The popularity of social media influences rating and how a person creates branding for themselves. Therefore, an effective strategy is needed so that the social media can provide optimal benefits. Another aspect that is also important is the security of personal data on social media accounts. Thus, knowledge to increase self-awareness of the importance of maintaining the security of personal data information needs to be continuously promoted, especially among teachers who are social media activists for both personal and institutional interests. Responding to the need, workshop about privacy security and social media content was held.   This workshop is conducted with the main goal is to raise the awareness of privacy security and strategic ways to improve popularity in social media. The method used in this workshop is a lecture performed in front of the audience, and the result shows as many as 90% of teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Purbalingga considered this workshop is useful to increase knowledge and awareness in maintaining personal data on social media accounts. Keywords: community service; workshop; social media; security; personal data.

Students with college degrees are likely to obtain satisfactory employment, but few studies examine how students assess the value of degrees after universal higher education. Based on content analyses of 1,269 posts on a Dcard undergrad forum and 614 posts on a PTT senior high forum, which are the two most influential local social media sites in Taiwan, I investigate how students assess the value of degrees and how online platforms shape dominant narratives on choosing a degree. I argue that the value of a degree is congruently defined by the messages surrounding teenagers, which reassign values to degrees in the existing status hierarchy. I call this phenomenon ‘public credentialism,’ a collective status-building process through which individuals assign value to degrees through online narratives, social closure, and online argument styles. This study sheds light on the meaning-making process and advances the discussion on relative value in credential theory.

To support this research, we used descriptive method by analyzing digital advertising in social media to find a valid data and in accordance with the research conducted. The result of this research is that using digital advertising is more effective for the company as it is more appealing for the customers.

The development of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) is important to obtain Village Funds. With business motivation training, digital digital era business development and basic accounting training to managers of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), it is hoped that they can increase BUMDes income. Implementation of Community Service and Service (PkM) by providing business motivation material, digital business insight material and interactive basic accounting training and inviting participants to directly practice. The PkM will be held for 4 hours on Wednesday, November 27 2019 in Wanaherang Village, Gunung Putri District, Bogor Regency. The training participants consisted of BUMDes managers, youth leaders and PKK representatives. The results of PkM show new enthusiasm and insight in the business world in the digital era as well as provide new knowledge in simple recording of business results to facilitate financial reporting
