The article analyzes the value orientations of modern student youth in Kazakhstan that influence the formation of their identity. Based on the analysis of this social group’s value alignments, the article attempts to determine the vital problem areas in the formation of the character of young people as those capable of taking responsibility for their own destiny and the destiny of their country. Special attention is heeded to ethnic, religious and civic identities. The ratio of civil and ethnic identities among Kazakhstani student youth is assessed. A growth tendency in the norms of individualism and indifference to traditional forms of identity is revealed. Particular attention is paid to the influence of traditional and modernization values on the self-awareness of Kazakhstani youth. This research perspective was selected deliberately. The current state of public relations—both global, and Kazakhstani in particular—is determined by active ambiguous, multi-directional transformation processes. Under these circumstances, the issue of identity becomes especially acute for young people, and a search for sources of worldviews ensues to help young people formulate and self-actualize their own essence and to construct their own view of the world. In the course of this search, it is crucial to avoid becoming an object of various kinds of ideological, spiritual, ideological manipulation and recruiting. The modern contemporary social reality engenders a wide variety of spiritual practices, ideological revelations and political modules. It is essential for a young person to make the right choice based on objective knowledge and understanding. Under the circumstances, a special responsibility is imposed on the education system. Unfortunately, the modern higher education system in Kazakhstan pays special attention to the rigid specialization of graduates as part of the current vigorous reforms. Purely professional training is becoming a priority, while the issues of socio-humanitarian, ideological training of our future specialists remain on the margins of the educational system, which, in turn, impedes their successful socialization. It is in these epistemological coordinates that this article was prepared. The article is based on the data obtained through a sociological study conducted in 2019 as part of the project “Formation of the Concept of Religious Tolerance and Ethnic Consolidation in Educational Formats of Modern Kazakhstan.”

Considering current problems of the higher education system in France, a number of problems can be identified. On one hand, the traditional high school encourages the intelligence, the elite formation, the deepening of existing social inequalities. On the other hand, the professional training largely focused on the labor market is expected. The contradiction between supply and demand (a demand for young professionals), the lack of opportunities for career growth at home force young Frenchmen to leave the country, which is the major issue in higher education and French society as a whole. At the same time, the educational immigration to France is increasing. The problems of coexistence of different cultures and worldviews in higher education remain actual. Such problems as "difficult" neighborhoods and employment among young people, their professional, cultural orientation, changing attitudes towards the teaching profession are important, too. The article contains the analysis of current trends and prospects of higher education, as well as of the policy being pursued by the government towards the young generation. The estimation of the present state of higher school by well known French sociologists – experts in the field of youth policy (Olivier Galland, François Dubet and others) is presented in the paper. The analogy with problems of the Russian higher education system, in particular higher commercial schools, is noticed. Fighting for youth remains the main theme in modern France. The social climate in the country may be improved by means of the young peoples' “remobilization”, using their dynamism, their knowledge and educational level which is one of the highest in Europe. The creation of prospects for self-realization at home (better conditions for an entrepreneurial activity and a political career etc.) may be considered as an alternative to the departure of young people abroad.

Modern youth and the student community today play a key role in the development of social and social life. Due to the peculiarities of the university space, the student community is in constant interaction and communication, both in the framework of the educational process and events of various formats, and in social and everyday conditions. In the context of interactions, this social group, which is most at risk of spreading negative ideologies that threaten not only the personal security of everyone, but also peaceful coexistence in the conditions of a multinational society in Russia. In the absence of educational measures as a prevention, an unfavorable environment arises in which it is very easy to influence the thinking of young people, their involvement in nationalist movements, extremist activities, etc. Hence the concept of «youth extremism» appears, which is manifested in the views and behavior of young people based on the manifestation of aggression and non-acceptance of dissenters. The search for new technologies of psychological support that allow to form cultural tolerance, value orientations and prevent the spread of extremist ideologies becomes relevant. The authors consider a set of measures that contribute to the generalization, dissemination, as well as the introduction into the student environment of the best practices of spiritual and moral education, the development of interethnic and interreligious dialogue, and the prevention of negative ideologies. To implement these tasks, it is necessary to form a pool of specialists in the prevention of extremism in the student environment, hold seminars and meetings for vice-rectors of universities on security and educational work, as well as educational seminars for managers of student organizations. This will make it possible to form leadership student associations that broadcast the values of cultural tolerance to the youth environment.

Following the 1952 revolution, the Egyptian higher education system grew rapidly, with post-secondary institutes complementing the expanding university system. Private post-secondary institutes were permitted from 1970; in the early 1990s financial constraints and pressures for cost recovery prompted legislation allowing private universities. In the face of expansion, diversification, and partial privatization, concerns have arisen about equity in higher education opportunities. The 2014 Survey of Young People in Egypt is used to examine correlates of higher education track placement and of sector placement within tracks.

Nowadays, computer games occupy a large share of the entertainment industry market: according to data for 2019, the market volume was $ 152.1 billion (for comparison, the market volume in 2018 was $ 137.9 billion). The growing popularity of the industry led to the inclusion of computer games in 2005 on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and in 2003 – to the establishment of a video game award by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Computer games are increasingly penetrating our lives, and thus follows the language of “gamers”, exerting an increas-ing influence on the normative language. Computer games are a vast topic for research and study, especially in terms of language and teaching. Teaching translation in the modern world should in-clude a comprehensive preparation of future specialists for work. In the current education system of the Russian Federation, there is no professional training of translators for the localization of computer games, therefore, translators who wish to work in this area need to undergo additional training outside the higher education system. This brings to the fore the issue of needing to identify the features of the translation process and localization of computer games in order to improve the quality of teaching translation. We consider the features of translation and localization from English into Russian based on the texts of the computer game “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”.
