The article discusses the methodological approaches to the development of cadets’ training intensity of the military-training center. The need to use intensive teaching technologies arises in cases of reducing the volume of hours of classroom hours allocated for the study of a particular academic discipline while increasing the number of hours of their independent work, when implementing distance and distance learning. An analysis of pedagogical experience indicates that in most cases, teachers choose one or another intensive educational technology for teaching students (analysis of specific situations, game technologies, design technologies, etc.) based on their personal preferences and their level of competence in pedagogical activity, without any scientific support of their choice. The article proposes a method of science-based selection of the type of intensive educational technology, which provides for the achievement of the maximum result with a minimum of costs for information and material support, consisting of three stages: at the first stage, preliminary selection of three or four high-intensity educational technologies from the domestic and world banks of modern and retro-information educational technologies (from encyclopedias and reference books on educational technologies, from monographs and study guides on modern educational technologies) is made according to the main parameter - according to the intensity of training; at the second stage of the selection, a comparative / comparative analysis of previously selected intensive technologies is performed using other parameters no less significant for a particular educational environment (costs of information and material and technical support for the functioning of the technology, the possibility of organizing the educational process using innovative technology, the level of psychophysical comfort and other). The technology with the highest rating in the entire set of parameters is accepted for execution. At the third stage, an experimental verification and confirmation of the effectiveness and feasibility of using the selected intensive educational technology is conducted. The general provisions of the methodology of the science-based choice of the type of intensive educational technology are illustrated by specific examples

The every-day and combat activities of military personnel are associated with exposure to hazardous chemicals. In this regard, a qualitative training in toxicology of military physicians is needed to make them ready to carry out medical protection measures for the personnel of the troops and the civil population from damaging effects of numerous factors of chemical nature, both in peacetime and in wartime. The study of military toxicology is an important part of military medical education in the military training center at the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov. It is shown that the training system in toxicology that existed before 2014 did not allow a full-fledged mastering of educational material. In connection with this, a new curriculum was developed, including up-to-date information on military toxicology and medical protection, for which 108 academic hours are allocated in the military training center. The distribution of the toxicology issues teaching time by topics and types of training sessions is presented, characteristics of the main control options for the knowledge gained are shown. Training in toxicology is carried out using new educational technologies, including the educational portal, as well as modern tutorials and textbooks, including the textbook «Toxicology and Medical Protection» (2016). Graduates from the military training center effectively use the knowledge and skills gained in toxicology during their further practical activities in the troops.

In article the urgency of development of modern educational technologies by teachers of pedagogical colleges is justifi ed. Relevance is considered as part of the philosophy of education, and in the context of legislative changes enshrined in the law “On education in the Russian Federation” and the FSES at all levels. We considered two aspects of this process: educational technology used in teaching, and support of college students in the selection of complex educational technologies to replenish professional tools for future teachers. The factors which prevent not only the process of implementation of pedagogical technologies in educational process of pedagogical colleges, but also in the practice of General education are considered. The measures to facilitate the organization of such a process are off ered and criteria that can be used both for the selection of the most eff ective for teaching in a teacher training college, and for the creation by future teachers of their own complex of pedagogical technologies are given.

The article examines the diagnostic tools for evaluating the formation of an environment-oriented component of competencies in students within the system of higher education. The authors present the set of diagnostic tools following their long-term work on identifying the experience of emotional and values-based attitude to nature as the most difficult element of the environment-oriented component of competencies to assess. The article substantiates the selection of diagnostic tools taking into account available environmental knowledge, skills, abilities and behavioural stereotypes of students. It focuses on determining the level of adapted social experience combining the experience of environment-oriented cognitive activity, environment-oriented work methods, environment-oriented creative activity, emotional and values-based attitude. The use of diagnostic tools is illustrated by experimental work within the educational process at A.V. Khrulev Penza Branch of the Military Academy of Logistics and Penza State University.

The paper presents the results of the analysis of technological education, namely the identification of educational technology and the technological process. It was found that most major technology creators transform both their ideas and their techniques into modern technological operations as well as educational technologies. The authors propose that the training process may be regarded as technological in nature and the one that embraces the same methods of analysis (including activity approaches). In other words, the analysis of the educational process is identical to the analysis of technological process. In methodological terms, the closest to that step sequence is project-based learning. The conclusion is reached by drawing on the analysis of training processes in general and on the analysis of operational training in particular including the step-by-step performance of certain technological operations.

The article analyzes the specificity of sociological modeling of higher education. The article deals with the conceptualization of the sociological model of quality higher education in the context of different methodological approaches. In particular, it points to the relevance of addressing the sociocultural dimension of quality. The article examines the procedural characteristic (the effectiveness of the educational process) as the degree of the ratio of the goal - means - the result of the organization of the educational process, which is evaluated in terms of the activity of the collective subject of the educational process. The sociological model of quality is considered from the standpoint of such indicators as literacy, education or competence obtained on the basis of key competencies. They also consider their method of integration, based on the selection of conditional types of culture in the process of professional formation of the personality, each of which, having its own specifics, presupposes a hierarchically organized interaction.

Statement of the problem. The article supports the educational and cognitive potential of modern children’s literature devoted to certain topics of Russian history, and provides methodological recommendations for including such works in the circle of adolescent reading. The problem raised in the article follows an active discussion (initiated by methodological circles) of historical topics that are important for discussion with teenagers, the selection of literary texts for extracurricular reading. The purpose of the article is to present content-wise and methodological approaches to the study of modern historical prose in the process of extracurricular reading among teenagers (on the example of two topics – Ancient Russia and Stalin’s repressions). The research methodology is based on the analysis of literary works devoted to the concept of historical prose, as well as scientific and methodological sources describing the basics of extracurricular and adolescent reading (methods of theoretical research). In addition, the work is based on the method of empirical research – a survey conducted among students. Description is given to the first stage of the search experiment related with the development of a system of lessons on extracurricular reading of contemporary works on historical themes (the selection of relevant fiction for reading and its distribution among classes, basic content aspects and teaching methods that promote efficient study of historical works specifics). Research results. Based on modern approaches to the educational process, a system of lessons has been developed that focuses on the inclusion of historical works in reading for adolescents. The functional significance of such texts is justified, methodological techniques and central content aspects that are important for discussion with students are identified. Conclusion. The proposed author’s concept of studying modern historical works addressed to the adolescent reader can be implemented in school literature teaching as a way to solve important educational and cognitive tasks and develop meta-subject educational results.

The founding and activities of military schools in Lviv during the Austro-Hungarian period are considered, in particular, an attempt was made to review versions of the establishment of a cadet school in the city. Not only the Austrians, but also the Poles, who were interested in organizing the military training in the army, were interested in organizing a military school in Galicia. A large documentary examines the creation of the Cadet Corps in 1921, the educational work of this educational institution with military training in the interwar period of the twentieth century. It has been argued that the educational system of the Corps in Lviv for two decades has used two systems of education-national and state. The educational process combined two components: educational – at the level of the Mathematics and Natural Grammar School and military – at the level of the course of the school of the infantry infantry. Considering the considerable amount of physical education, the implementation of such a program was possible only under the conditions of creation of a certain system. Officers and caregivers tried to promote good manners among the cadets through daily communication, shared food, and personal behavior. Cadet actions in the days of city celebrations and celebrations were traced. The relocation and activities of the Corps in Lviv after the First World War were intended to promote the ideas of Polish statehood on the territory of the so-called. Lesser Poland, the education of young people on the traditions of the Polish Army, in particular the Polish legions who fought in Volyn and Galicia during the First World War. At the same time, the cult of the Lviv Eagles and of the «defenders» of Lviv in 1918 was actively promoted. After graduation, most cadets chose the military profession. Keywords Lviv, Austria-Hungary, Poland, Cadet School, Cadet Corps, educational programs, education, military.
