Tulisan ini memaparkan nilai-nilai budaya dalam cerita rakyat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui budaya daerah melalui nilai-nilai budaya yang terdapat dalam cerita rakyat. Cerita rakyat Burung Arue dan Burung Talokot berasal dari suku Dayak Kanayan, Kabupaten Mempawah, Kalimantan Barat. Cerita ini dipilih karena merupakan cerita lokal dan masih dipercaya masyarakat setempat hingga sekarang. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berasal dari cerita rakyat Burung Aroe dan Burung Talokot berupa buku yang sudah diterbitkan. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan antropologi sastra. Adapun analisis penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif, yakni metode yang menggambarkan data secara sistematis, faktual, dan akurat. Hasil analisis penelitian menerangkan bahwa cerita rakyat merupakan warisan budaya yang mempunyai arti penting dan berkaitan dengan kehidupan masyarakatnya. Hal ini diperkuat dengan unsur-unsur pembangun cerita yang mengungkapkan gagasan, pandangan hidup, dan ajaran moral yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan masyarakat yang bisa dijadikan pedoman hidup. Di lain sisi, nilai-nilai budaya dalam cerita ini adalah rumah adat, simbol budaya, sumber daya alam, bersyukur kepada Tuhan, menepati janji dan amanah, nilai kasih sayang, nilai kesabaran, dan menjaga persaudaraan.This paper describes cultural values in folklore. This study aims to find out regional culture through cultural values contained in folklore. Folklore of Burung Arue dan Burung Talokot comes from the Dayak Kanayan ethnic, Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan. This story was chosen because it is a local folklore and is still trusted by the local community until now. The source of the data in this study comes from the folklore of Burung Arue dan Burung Talokot in the form of published books. The method used for data collection is literature study with the literal anthropogy approach. The analysis of the study uses descriptive methods that describe data systematically, factually, and accurately. The results of the research analysis explain that folklore is a cultural heritage that has important values and related to the lives of its people. This is reinforced by the story building elements that express ideas, views of life, and moral lessons related to people's lives that can be used as guidelines for life. On the other hand, cultural values in this story are traditional house, cultural symbols, natural resources, giving thanks to God, keeping promises and mandates, values of compassion, the value of patience, respect for parents, and maintaining brotherhood.

This study aims to analyze the STEM approach in learning to strengthen the scientific literacy of students. The method used in this research is qualitative research with data collection techniques, namely literature studies. The data collection method is by reading, identifying, and analyzing, then categorizing, classifying, and describing. In this research, the study of relevant journals, articles, are used to find out how to increase students’ science literacy by using STEM in elementary schools.   Based on the results of research, the literature study states that the use of STEM-based learning effectively improves the student's science literacy.  The results of the research analysis showed that the results of the pretest scores of students had low concept understanding in the experimental class and the control class. After being given treatment, the results of the posttest scores showed a significant increase in the experimental class

Mount Agung, which is the highest active mountain in Bali, began to experience an eruption which immediately caused Bali tourism to collapse. On the other hand, this disaster invites a special attraction for special interest tourists. This paper aims to determine the characteristics and activities of foreign tourists after the eruption of Mount Agung in Karangasem Regency. Data collection techniques used, among others: observation, interview, questionnaires distributions, literature study, and documentation with qualitative descriptive and quantitative analysis methods. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known the characteristics of foreign tourists based on tourist descriptors, namely: age dominated by 20 - 35 years (81%), coming from France (18%), female sex (57%), unmarried status (60%), recent undergraduate education (52%), employment of private employees (38%), income> USD 510 (57%). Meanwhile, characteristics based on trip descriptor have results that are dominated by: Bali as the main destination (88%), first visit to Bali (71%), length of stay in Bali more than 5 days (80%), visit with friends (36% ), stay at homestay (33%), accommodation located in Ubud (31%), length of stay in Karangasem <1 day (52%), organize trips independently (74%), expenses in Karangasem <1,000,000 (72%) ), car and driver rental (41%). Tourism activities undertaken by foreign tourists after the eruption of Mount Agung were dominated by cultural tourism activities with the highest Likert scale of 3.37 in the category of strongly agree.

This study aims to categorize the toponymy based on its manifestation aspects, explain the meaning of village names, and identify the cultural values contained in the naming of villages in Ponorogo Regency. This research uses anthropolinguistic theory, toponymy, meaning, and cultural values. This research uses in-depth interview techniques and literature study to collect the data. The analysis method used is the descriptive ethnographic method. The results showed that 83 village names in Ponorogo Regency contained toponymy aspects based on the naming. The village toponymy category in Ponorogo Regency includes three naming aspects. The manifestation aspect is contained in 34 village names, social aspects in 39 village names, and cultural aspects in 11 village names. In terms of meaning, 32 village names contain advice, rules, patterns of thought related to Javanese customs culture in the local community. Besides, it also contains the cultural values of peace and prosperity.

<p>This research is going to explain the characteristics of spiritual and social values in saman dance culture in gayo community in Aceh. Saman Gayo dance is not only unique but also has original Indonesian cultural values which is one of the media for delivering da'wah messages which contains religious values, manners, togetherness, and educational values. This research on the characteristics of spiritual and social values in the Saman Dance culture in the Gayo community is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The data analysis technique in this paper refers to the data analysis technique of Miles and Huberman with three stages, namely data collection, data processing, and drawing conclusions. The data collection technique in this paper is to use data collection methods that are literature study to more accurately research from a scientific perspective. The results of this paper shown that the Gayo Saman Dance has various philosophies such as singing, movement, types of Saman Dance, to its function which of course must be maintained and preserved. In the other hand, Saman Dance is used to strengthen Local Identity, good values ranging from values in the field of education, unity and integrity, friendship.</p>

This research discusses the rejection of Anak Dalam Ethnic transmigrants in Padang Tarok Village, Kamang Baru District, Sijunjung Regency. The purpose of this study is to explain and describe the reasons for the local community of Padang Tarok Village to reject the Anak Dalam Ethnic Transmigrant and to analyze it using the Social Exclusion by Rene Lenoir. This research uses a qualitative approach. The selection of informants was carried out by purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using involved observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The result of the study shows that the rejection of Anak Dalam Ethnic transmigrants occurs because of differences in religious and cultural values between the Anak Dalam Ethnic and the local community of Padang Tarok Village. Due to differences in religious and cultural values between the Anak Dalam Ethnic and the local community, the transmigration program for the Anak Dalam Ethnic was not implemented according to the plan

Indonesian Muslims are faced with the emergence of a small number of intolerant, exclusive, rigid Islamic groups and other groups that easily express hostility and carry out conflicts. On the other hand, Muslims are also faced with the emergence of an Islamic community that tends to be liberal and permissive. The two groups are classified as the extreme right (tatorruf yamini) and the extreme left (tatorruf yasari), which are against the ideal form of implementing Islamic teachings in Indonesia and even the world. In fact, Islam has very clearly taught about tolerance in religion, especially since Indonesia is a pluralist country that adheres to many religions. This study uses qualitative method. While the data collection is using literature study information. This research obtained several important findings that da'wah is an obligation that every Muslim should carry and convey in wise and wise ways. In the implementation of da'wah in a pluralist society, the method of da'wah bi al-hikmah must be put forward. The diversity or plurality of human life in various ways is sunnatullah. Living in a pluralistic society will exist if everyone understands each other, respects each other, and accepts each other.

The Islamic Discourse of the Archipelago increasingly found its momentum in the struggle for the meaning of Islam. Many are pros and not a few cons. The pros, driven by the NU religious movement. While those who are cons, radical groups are identified. In this context, it is important to study more deeply about Islam Nusantara. This research uses the method of library research or Library Research. A literature study is a data collection technique by conducting a study of books, literature, notes, and reports that are related to the problem being solved. This article utilizes journals, materials and relevant information to be collected, read and reviewed, recorded as a guide or reference source. The results showed that the ability of Islamic da'wah to adapt to local culture made it easier for Islamic da'wah to enter the lowest strata of society. Inevitably, Islam as a religion that spreads throughout the world appears creatively in dialogue with the local community (local), is in a position to accept the traditions of the community, while modifying it into a new culture that can be accepted by the local community and still within the path of Islam. Therefore, the arrival of Islamic da'wah is enlightenment for the Southeast Asian region, especially Indonesia.

Tourism is a variety of tourism activities and contains various facilities and services provided by the community, business people, government and local government. The development of Bali tourism has developed in the Bali region in Gianyar Regency. In this study aims to determine the strategy of developing tourism, especially spiritual tourism. The location of this research is in the area of Gianyar Regency. This study uses qualitative research with descriptive methods, in addition to using swot analysis to discuss content descriptions. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature study and documentation. The informant in this study was the Head of the Gianyar Regency Tourism Office or related, pengempon Pura, tourism agents, as well as the local community. Until now, the Gianyar Regency does not have tourism specifically formed as spiritual tourism, because there are no clear rules, procedures, and criteria in establishing suitable objects to be categorized as spiritual tourism. Gianyar Regency has 7 tourism objects that have the potential to be developed as spiritual tourism objects. Therefore, research is conducted to determine the strategy in developing the seven objects so that they become more advanced objects of spiritual tourism. The strategy is formulated using a swot matrix with indicators measuring Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threats. Through the analysis of the swot matrix, it can then be made in accordance with strategies to develop 7 tourism objects in Gianyar to become a new destination for spiritual tourism.

This study aimed to describe the processing methods and cultural values contained in the business of making Dangke. This study used descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and literature study. The study result showed that Dangke is a kind of Enrekang people’s culinary. Initially, buffalo milk was the main ingredient used in making dangke, but it is replaced with milk from dairy cows today, because of the population of buffalo has decreased. The process of making Dangke used simple technology. Dangke was made using a coconut shell, thus its shaped like a dome, then packed using banana leaves. The values contained in the business of making Dangke were the cultural, social, economic, cooperation, accuracy, and used-effort values.

The rivers flow on the island of Borneo have had a significant function for human life since a long time ago. The river has had a role in the dynamics of civilization and environmental evolution in human life until now. With the construction of road infrastructure, the significance of rivers for riverside communities has also changed. This study sees how Ngaju people interpret the river in a living space that changes with development. The research was conducted in two villages which show the characteristics of different locations, society, and development rates. The villages are Talingke village on the bank of the Katingan River and Pangi Village on the bank of the Kahayan River. Data collection were through observation, interviews, and literature study. The study shows that the characteristics of the river area, the community, and the development rates affect the community in interpreting the river. On the one hand, Pangi people start to leave activities in the river, but they still hold the values of the river in their lives. On the other hand, Talingke’s people still focus their activities on the river but no longer have river values in their lives.
