The Way

Improving people's welfare is the national aim that is tried to be realized with various efforts. Optimizing the potential of natural resources as a tourism object is one of the way to make this dream come true. In Tigasan Wetan Village, Leces District, Probolinggo Regency, there is an hill named “Bukit Dami”  which has the potential to be developed as an ecotourism object. The Youth Group “Teras Tanah” saw this potential and tried to develop it as a tourist attraction even though it was not optimal. The KKN Team of  Panca Marga University was moved to carry out community service activities with the aim to optimizing the existence of Bukit Dami as an object of ecotourism. In collaboration with the Teras Tanah Youth Group, several activities have been carried out so that it is hoped that this Ecotourism object can develop and provide benefits to the surrounding community.

Desa Tamban Muara, Kecamatan Tamban, Kabupaten Barito Kuala, Kalimantan Selatan merupakan sebuah desa yang memiliki sumber daya alam yang berlimpah berupa tanaman kelapa. Air dari buah kelapa yang ada seringkali tidak digunakan, sehingga pelaksana kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bermaksud mengolah air kelapa tersebut menjadi Nata de Coco agar lebih bermanfaat. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah agar masyarakat Desa Tamban Muara dapat memanfaatkan dan mengolah air kelapa, serta memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang pengemasan dan pemasaran Nata de Coco hasil produksi rumah tangga. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan berupa penyuluhan dan praktik tentang pembuatan Nata de Coco serta praktik pengemasan dan sosialisasi tentang pemasaran Nata de Coco kemasan. Peserta kegiatan adalah ibu-ibu yang tergabung dalam kelompok Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) sebagai perwakilan masyarakat Desa Tamban Muara. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan tersebut adalah peserta kegiatan mampu: (1) membuat Nata de Coco dari air kelapa yang diperoleh dari lingkungan sekitar; (2) mengemas Nata de Coco menjadi produk yang siap dijual, dan (3) memasarkan Nata de Coco untuk dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat luas. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat tersebut diharapkan dapat mendukung pemberdayaan perempuan/ibu rumah tangga dan dan meningkatkan ekomomi keluarga. Tamban Muara Village in Tamban Subdistrict, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan, is a village that has a lot of coconut trees as natural resources. The availability of coconut water is typically unused, so the community service team decided to process the coconut water into Nata de Coco to be more useful. The aims of the activities are to pursue villagers of Tamban Muara in utilizing and processing coconut water and also in getting knowledge and skills in packaging and marketing of Nata de Coco from household production. Activities method that has been done are counseling and practicing about Nata de Coco production, alongside with packaging and marketing. The participants are representative of the Empowerment of Family Welfare of Tamban Muara Village. The result of this activity are the representative can: (1) produce Nata de Coco from coconut water of village; (2) package Nata de Coco become a product that ready to sell; and (3) market Nata de Coco to be consumed by the wider community. The community service activities are expected to support the empowerment of the women/housewife and to increase family economically.

Tourism is one of the leading potentials in the region, especially villages, which can be maximally developed to improve community welfare. One of the attractions in Malang Regency which has tremendous potential to be developed is Coban Pandawa, which is located in Sukodono Village, Dampit District, Malang Regency. The tourism object is managed by the Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) of Sukodono Village since the end of 2018, but in its journey, Pokdarwis has not understood the role, main tasks and functions of managing a tourist attraction, so that in the end pokdarwis experienced a vacuum in 2019. This community service activity aims to revitalize Pokdarwis organizations so that they can become independent and professional organizations in developing Coban Pandawa. Activities will be divided into three stages, namely, the awareness stage, the legality stage and the capacity-giving stage. The results of the community service activities were the equalization of the vision between the Sukodono Village Government and Pokdarwis, the legality of the Pokdarwis organization from the Sukodono Village Government and the Malang Regency Office of Tourism and Culture (Disparbud), and the Coban Pandawa development blueprint.

Multiculturalism is a new concept in social science that is used to be the main discussion in community service activities at Jam'iyyah and Jama'ah Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in Tamantirto Village, Kasihan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Through the concept of multiculturalism, Jama'ah and Jam'iyyah NU began to try to understand the teachings of NU which have the same principles as Tasawasuth, Tasamuh, Tawazun and I'tidal. With a mixture of online (Whatapps Group and WA Japri) and offline (direct FGD) methods, this service has provided the concept of multiculturalism as a training subject to Jama'ah and Jam'iyyah of NU. The results achieved in this service, opened an understanding of tolerance, the concept of Islamic brotherhood (Ukhuuwah Islamiyah) and a pluralistic social awareness. The emergence of this awareness of multiculturalism, although among NU circles, often referred to the concepts of Tawasuth, Tasamuh, Tawazun and I'tidal, Jama'ah began to expand the way of life in society amidst differences and complex social networks. ===== Multikulturalisme sebagai konsep baru dalam ilmu sosial menjadi pembahasan pokok dalam kegiatan pengabdian pada Jam’iyyah maupun Jama’ah Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) di Desa Tamantirto, Kasihan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Melalui konsep multikulturalisme, Jama’ah maupun Jam’iyyah NU mulai mencoba memahami dan mengaitkan dengan ajaran NU yang memiliki kesamaan prinsip dengan Tasawasuth, Tasamuh, Tawazun dan I’tidal. Dengan metode campuran daring (Whatapps Group dan WA Japri) dan luring (FGD langsung), pengabdian ini telah memberikan pengenalan konsep multikulturalisme kepada Jama’ah dan Jam’iyyah NU sebagai praktik sosial-keagamaan. Hasil yang dicapai pada pengabdian ini, terbukanya pemahaman tentang toleransi, konsep persaudaraan Islamiyah (Ukhuuwah Islamiyah) dan kesadaran bermasyarakat yang majemuk. Munculnya kesadaran multikulturalisme ini, walaupun di kalangan NU, sering merujuk pada konsep Tawasuth, Tasamuh, Tawazun dan I’tidal, namun Jama’ah mulai semakin luas cara hidup bermasyarakat di tengah-tengah perbedaan dan jaringan sosial yang rumit.

The aim of our community service program is to create promotion media of tourist attraction located in Menoreh, Samigaluh District, Kulon Progo Regency. Menoreh has a lot of not well-developed potential tourist attractions. There are not many information that we can obtain in internet about Menoreh attractions. This can be viewed from low number of visitors in Menoreh. Therefore a good promotion media is needed to solve the explained problem. Menoreh is a very potential area not only because of its natural resources but also because the government through the Ministry of Tourism establish Menoreh as a National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN) Borobudur. There are many choices of promotional media that can be used, in this community service program we use Android-based application. Ministry of Communications and Information Republic of Indonesia in its official website predicts that by 2018 the number of active users of smartphones in Indonesia will exceed of 100 million users. Indonesia will be the country with the fourth largest smartphone active users in the world after China, India and the United States. From the that fact we can said that the promotion with smartphone-based application (by means of Android) is one of the most effective promotional methods today.

The purpose of community service activities are to provide knowledge to villagers Belok Sidan particularlySadar Wisata groups and trekking group "Titi Mamah" about how to manage natural attractions and guidingtechniques of trekking activities. The training uses lecture and group discussion. Aware group travel andtrekking given materials to manage tourist attraction based on the quality of service and satisfaction andtechnique guiding that meet the expectations of tourists. The results of training activities show veryenthusiastic participants attended training and various questions were raised mainly concerned with the typeof products that can be sold and how a satisfactory rating on an ongoing basis.

AbstrakPulau Tiban adalah objek wisata yang dikelola oleh Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Kartikajaya dan merupakan satu-satunya wisata pulau di Kabupaten Kendal yang menarik untuk dikunjungi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi Pokdarwis desa Kartikajaya adalah kurangnya kesadaran wisatawan dalam menjaga kelestarian alam lokasi wisata, kurangnya kemampuan manajerial tentang cara pengembangan wisata dengan mengedepankan kelestarian ekosistem yang ada, serta pengelolaan objek wisata yang masih sederhana. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini yang pertama adalah untuk memberdayakan wisata Pulau Tiban Desa Kartikajaya, Kecamatan Patebon, Kabupaten Kendal melalui pengembangan green ticketing sebagai upaya pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat dan pelestarian ekosistem. Tujuan kedua adalah memberikan kontribusi positif dari adanya pemberdayaan Pokdarwis melalui pengembangan green ticketing, sehingga mampu memberikan nilai lebih tidak hanya pada lingkungan dan ekonomi, tetapi juga kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pemberdayaan dan pengembangan green ticketing wisata yang dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan yang menghasilkan keterampilan, metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, simulasi serta pendampingan. Adapun hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah meningkatkan wasasan dan pengetahuan baru pokdarwis desa Kartika jaya tentang pengelolaan wisata, meningkatkan kesadaran pokdarwis dan masyarakat terhadap kelestarian alam lokasi wisata dan adanya pemberdayaan pengembangan green ticketing.Kata Kunci: Pulau Tiban, Green Ticketing, EkowisataAbstractTiban Island is a tourist attraction managed by Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) Kartikajaya and only one tourist island in Kendal Regency that is interesting to visit. The problem faced by Pokdarwis in Kartikajaya village is lack awareness of tourists in preserving the natural preservation of tourist sites, lack of managerial ability how to develop tourism by prioritizing the preservation of existing ecosystems, as well as managing simple tourist objects. The aim of service acticities, first is to empower the Tiban Island tourism in Kartikajaya Village, through the development of green ticketing as an effort to empower the community's economy and preserve the ecosystem. The second is make positive contribution to empowering Pokdarwis through the development of green ticketing, so as to provide usefullness not only to environment and economy, but also to the welfare of local communities. The method of implementing community service activities are empowerment and development of green ticketing tours is carried out by training methods that produce skills, lecture methods, discussion, simulation and mentoring. The results are increase the awareness and new knowledge Pokdarwis about tourism management, increase the awareness and the community towards the natural preservation of tourist sites and empower the development of green ticketing.Keywords: Tiban Island, Green Ticketing, Ecotourism

The City

The Flamboyan residential area is one area that has great potential to be developed as a tourist attraction in the city of Palangkaraya so that it has business opportunities for the local community, especially housewives to increase family income. But the area also has health problems that must be immediately addressed to become a comfortable tourist area to visit. Community service activities carried out have the aim of improving the degree of health and economic status of the community in the Flamboyan tourist area through improving the skills and knowledge of housewives. The stages of this activity are counseling or socialization of prevention and treatment of infectious diseases as well as the socialization of clean and healthy living behavior, the practice of making Bawang Dayak Gummy, and the practice of processing haruan fish oil. Community service activities that have been carried out have received good appreciation from partners, this can be seen from the results of the evaluation conducted knowledge and skills that have been given can be practiced by partners directly and partners have felt the positive impact of the results of community service activities such as being able to do independent treatment for minor ailments that often affects family members.

ABSTRAKPermasalahan pada masyarakat Kelurahan Patemon adalah kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang kepariwisataan khususnya pengetahuan ekowisata. Oleh sebab itu pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan membantu pemberdayaan masyarakat di Kelurahan Patemon, Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang dan ikut berkontribusi dalam mengembangkan kesejahteraan masyarakatnya dengan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan pada bidang kepariwisataan, memperkenalkan pengetahuan pariwisata berbasis eko wisata yang belum pernah diperoleh masyarakat Kelurahan Patemon dan membantu identifikasi potensi wisata alam yang masih tersembunyi dan bisa dipublikasikan agar bermanfaat untuk menambah pendapatan dan meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat Patemon. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian berupa sosialisasi tentang konsep ekowisata dan praktek identifikasi potensi daya tarik wisata yang ada di Kelurahan Patemon. Masyarakat yang mengikuti sosialisasi diwakili oleh kelompok Karang Taruna dan Kelompok PKK. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bermitra dengan mahasiswa KKN dari Uness sejumlah 3 orang. Dari evaluasi oleh mahasiswa KKN Uness diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa masyarakat kelurahan Patemon membutuhkan pengetahuan tentang kepariwisataan khususnya ekowisata dan cara identifikasi potensi wisata. Hasil yang dicapai pada kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu: (1) Bertambahnya pengetahuan peserta sosialisasi mengenai ekowisata.  (2). Peserta sosialisasi dapat menentukan potensi daya tarik wisata di Kelurahan Patemon berbasis eko wisata. (3) Kelurahan Patemon memiliki daya tarik ekowisata. Kata kunci: pemberdayaan masyarakat; ekowisata; potensi wisata ABSTRACTThis community service aims to help empower the community in Patemon Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang City and contribute to developing the welfare of its people by advancing science in the field of management and tourism. The second objective is to introduce tourism-based eco-tourism knowledge that has never been obtained by the people of Patemon Village and the third objective is to help identify the potential for natural tourism that is still hidden and can be published so that it is useful to increase income and improve the economy of the Patemon community. This community service activity is a request from the Patemon Village community to get education about tourism and explore tourist attractions and their development. Implementation of community service activities through socialization methods on the concept of eco-tourism and identification of potential tourist attractions in Patemon Village. The results of community service activities in the Patemon Village are (1) Increased knowledge of the community about tourism. (2). Recognizing the potential tourist attraction in the Patemon Village based on eco-tourism. One of the activities of dedication to the community of Vocational School UGM aims to create an Online Store of typical products in Menoreh area, Samigaluh District, Kulon Progo Regency. Menoreh is a very potential area not only because of its natural resources, it is proved by the existence of government support through the Ministry of Tourism which establish Menoreh as the National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN) Borobudur. Menoreh area also save a lot of tourism potential that is still not well developed. Not much information can be obtained from the internet about tours in Menoreh, especially about the original products of Menoreh area such as the chips of the merchant, suroloyo coffee and many other products. So need a special Web-based Online Store to promote these products so as to improve the information and sales of original products of the region. In addition to making the Online Store products typical of the Menorah area, community service activities also provide training for the admin in each village in Menoreh area. As a result the typical products of the Menorah area can be accessed on the URL page: produk.menoreh.org and each village has an admin who is responsible for the promotion of original products from their respective villages.
