<p>The coverage rate of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia is still low despite its ability to affect a baby's health status and ability to survive. In 2017, only 35.73% of babies in Indonesia received exclusive breastfeeding for up to 6 months. This study aims to determine infant feeding practices and identify the factors that influence the practice of exclusive breastfeeding in Yogyakarta. This is a descriptive analysis study with a cross-sectional approach. The instruments that have been used in this study were the demographic data questionnaire, the Iowa Infant Feeding Attitude Scale (IIFAS) questionnaire, and the Breastfeeding Self Efficacy Scale-Short Form (BSES-SF) questionnaire. A total of 421 mothers were involved in this study and the research was conducted between June 2019 to April 2020 in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Correlation data analysis was performed using chi-square and point biserial correlation and the multivariate analysis used logistic regression. Infant feeding practice was high with 82.4% of infants receiving exclusive breastfeeding. It was found that employment status, knowledge, mothers’ attitudes, and self-efficacy about breastfeeding have significant correlations with exclusive breastfeeding. Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that is still a problem for health in the world, caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Muaro Jambi showed second ranks of TB patients number in Jambi Province. Based on the available data, the biggest positive TB patients were in the Muara Kumpeh Health Center working area which was 54 people (2016) and 68 people (2017). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship and risk of Self Efficacy and Interpersonal Relations to the prevention of pulmonary TB transmission in the Muara Kumpeh Health Center in Muaro Jambi District in 2018. This research is a quantitative research with Cross Sectional Study research design. The sample of this study was 68 people interviewed using questionnaire with the Total Sampling. The research was carried out in the work area of Muara Kumpeh Health Center in April-August 2018. The data was collected then analyzed in univariate and bivariate. A total of 37% of respondents were adults (26-45 years), 53% of male patients and 52% of respondents were treated by their spouses during illness. There was a significant relationship (p-value = 0.011) between self efficacy and TB transmission prevention behavior and low self efficacy at 5.14 times the risk of transmitting pulmonary TB compared to high self efficacy. With high self confidence from respondents can provide good motivation for their recovery. There was no significant relationship (p-value = 0.104) between interpersonal relationships with TB transmission prevention behaviors and interpersonal relationships not risk factors for preventing TB transmission behavior. This could be due to not too much percentage difference between respondents who have low and high interpersonal relationships. Besides that, the knowledge factor of the patient's family can also be confounding on this variable. Low self efficacy has a risk of 5.14 times transmitting TB and this is statistically significant. It is better to do more routine care of the patient's family so that it can improve self efficacy and interpersonal relationships of the patient.

Job satisfaction (JS) correlates positively with patients’ satisfaction and outcomes and employees’ well-being. In Botswana, the level of job satisfaction and its determinants among nurse anesthetists were not investigated. A cross-sectional study was conducted from January 2020 to June 2020 encompassing all nurse anesthetists in clinical practice in Botswana. A self-administered questionnaire was used that incorporated demographic data, reasons to stay on or leave their job, and a validated 20-item short form of the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire which was pretested on five of our nurse anesthetists. Percentage is used to describe the data. The independence of categorical variables was examined using chi-square or Fisher’s exact test. p value <0.05 was considered statistically significant. In Botswana, a total of 76 nurse anesthetists were in clinical practice during the study period. Sixty-six (86.9%) responded to the survey. Gender distribution was even, 50.0%. The overall JS was 36.4%. Males had significantly higher JS than females, p = 0.001 . Significantly higher job satisfaction was found in married nurse anesthetists ( p = 0.039 ), expatriate nurse anesthetists ( p = 0.001 ), nurse anesthetists in non-referral hospitals ( p = 0.023 ), and nurse anesthetists with ≥10 years’ experience ( p = 0.019 ). Nurse anesthetists were satisfied with security, social service, authority, ability utilization, and responsibility in ≥60.0% of the cases. They were not satisfied in compensation, working condition, and advancement in a similar percentage. The main reason to stay on their job was to serve the public in 68.2%. In Botswana, employers should make an effort to address the working conditions, compensation, and advancement of nurse anesthetists in clinical practice.

Objective: The theory of self-efficacy is based on the assumption that people’s beliefs about their abilities and talents have a favorable effect on their actions. It is the most important determinant of behavior. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between Emotional Intelligence (EI) and self-efficacy in type II diabetes (T2DM) patients. Materials and Methods: In this analytical cross-sectional study, 128 T2DM patients were selected via simple random sampling. At first, the patients’ demographic data were recorded. Then, the persian version of Diabetes Management Self-Efficacy Scale (DMSES) and EI questionnaire developed by Petrides and Furnham were completed. Results: The mean (±SD) age of the patients was 53.55 (±6.2) years. The results showed a significant positive correlation between the total scores of self-efficacy and EI ( P -value: 0.001). Accordingly, increase in the EI score was accompanied with an increase in the score of self-efficacy. Conclusion: EI plays an important role in nurturing self-efficacy beliefs and positive self-concepts in patients and promoting their mental and physical health status. Hence, training courses on EI components can make patients feel highly self-efficacious.

Introduction: Cervical cancer is the fourth most frequent cancer in women with an estimated 570,000 new cases in 2018 representing 6.6% of all female cancers. Approximately 90% of deaths from cervical cancer occurred in low- and middle-income countries. The high mortality rate from cervical cancer globally could be reduced through a comprehensive approach that includes prevention, early diagnosis, effective screening and treatment programmes. Until 2016, the coverage of VIA in Indonesia was 4.34% which was still far from the national target of 10% at the end of 2015. Sleman Regency was the district with the lowest achievement compared to 4 other districts in DIY to achieve the target of early detection (0.01%).Method: Type of analytical survey research with cross sectional design. The study was conducted at the Kalasan Public Health Center, Sleman, DIY on March 19 to May 4 2018. The study sample was all women aged 19-49 years who visited the Kalasan Health Center, domiciled in Kalasan Subdistrict, fulfilling the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The number of samples was 350 people selected by consecutive sampling technique. Test the validity of the questionnaire with 2 experts. The instruments used were questionnaires and data collection techniques with interviews. Data analysis used chi square.Result: Knowledge of cervical cancer is mostly in the low category (97%). A positive attitude towards early detection of cervical cancer is 96%. 80% believe cervical cancer will heal if it is found early. As many as 92% did not do VIA test in the last 3 years. Factors related to early detection of cervical cancer are knowledge (fisher exact test results, p-value = 0.003). Discussion: There is no relationship between attitudes, beliefs with early detection of cervical cancer because there are other factors that are more influential. According to the results of the study, 68.9% did not do VIA because they did not know about VIA.Keyword : knowledge, attitude, trust, IVA, cervical cancer
