This chapter discusses the import of research conceptualization, documentation, and communication. The intent is to clinically exposit the importance of research and its processes, to underscore the philosophy of research and its relevance to science, and to make research and its processes a better tool in the hands of researchers. Orchestrating this, the chapter clinically exposits the following sub-headings: research conceptualization, objective research, motivation in research, forms and types of research, exploratory research, descriptive research, qualitative research, quantitative, criteria of a good research method, methodological and theoretical robustness of research, research method and its methodology, and justification for the choice of research method. The chapter, therefore, may make a significant contribution to the field of research. Arguably, the essence is to make research methodology more apt and educative.

The Village

The purpose of this research is to find out how the Responsibility of Village Fund Allocation in Tambat, Tanah Miring District, Merauke Regency. Theoretical Benefits, as reference material for research in the field of future accountability. In discussing and reviewing the issue of implementation, the accountability of village fund allocation in Tambat Tanah Miring District Merauke Regency the author uses a qualitative research method, namely data collection can be from interviews, observation notes, photo taking, audio and video recording. This type of descriptive research is a research that is sought to observe problems systematically accurate funds regarding the facts and characteristics of certain objects, with the number of informants as many as 13 people.The results of this study indicate that the accountability of village fund allocation in the implementation of village funds in Tambat, Tanah Miring District, Merauke Regency, runs well but there are still a number of problems that occur, planning, realization of the program and not in accordance with the details and calculations in the RAB. Kampung, Implementation of Village Fund Allocation conducted by Kampung Tambat Officials has not gone well and has not been carried out in accordance with the procedure because the village head of Tambat was considered not transparent regarding Village Fund Allocation to the people of Tambat Village, Reporting indicators, Village Fund Allocation has not been implemented properly due to reports what has been made is not maximal with what is done in Tambat and indicators, the accountability of the village head regarding the Village Fund Allocation also does not work with planning, implementation and reporting, this is evidenced by the making of the first report and the answer to ADD ADK, PROSPECTS made by other parties not by village officials have not been implemented with the reality that happened at Tambat.

Abstract. Conversation is a process of exchanging two variables, there are speech role and commodity exchange, the combination between them is called speech function. This thesis is entitled “Speech Function Used by All Speaker In Allison L. Randall‘s Short Story End of The Line”. This study aims at describing the kinds of speech function and interpersonal role created by all speakers in Allison L. Randall’s short story “End of The Line”. They are Liza, Frank, Noah Crawford, Postmaster, Zedekiah Smith and Caleb. This study used qualitative research   method. Qualitative research method  was used to collect and analyze data that cannot be represented by number. Descriptive research was used in the literal sense of describing situation and event. The result of this study shows that there are 10 kinds of speech functions produced by all characters (Liza, Frank, Noah Crawford, Postmaster, Zedekiah Smith and Caleb). They are 11 statements, 8 commands, 5 offers, 7 questions, 2 acknowledgements, 3 contradictions, 2 acceptances, 2 rejections, 2 answers, and 2 disclaimers. The highest speech function is ‘command’ produced by Liza because she demands the bank robber to release her from the captive. She also produced highest speech function ‘question’, because she is the main character. She is a talkative who wants to know everything. The highest speech function produced by Zedekiah Smith is ‘statement’ because he is bank robber who comes back again to release Liza.Keywords: Conversation, Short Story, Speech Function, UtterancesAbstrak. Percakapan adalah proses perubahan 2 variabel, yaitu peran berbicara dan perpindahan peran. Kombinasi di antara keduanya disebut fungs tutur. Penelitian in iberjudul Fungsi Tutur yang digunakan oleh Seluruh Karakter Pada Cerita Pendek Allison L. Randall “End of The Line. Penelitian ini berhubungan dengan analisis fungsi tutur fokus pada ujaran yang digunakan oleh semua karakter pada cerita pendek Allison L. Randall “End of The Line”. Mereka adalah Liza, Frank, Noah Crawford, Kepala kantor Pos, Zedekiah Smith, dan Caleb. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Metode penelitian kualitatif  digunakan  untuk  menyeleksi  dan  menganalisa  data  yang  tidak  dapat dipresentasikan dengan angka. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode deskripsi. Metode deskripsi digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan situasi dan peristiwa. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa 10 jenis ujaran yang dibuat oleh semua karakter di dalam cerita pendek (Liza, Frank, Noah Crawford, Kepala Kantor post, Zedekiah Smith, dan Caleb) adalah 11 pernyataan, 8 perintah, 5 penawaran, 7 pertanyaan, 2 pengakuan,3 kontradiksi ,2 penerimaan, 2 penampikan, 2 jawaban, 2 penyangkalan. Pelaku yang paling banyak menghasilkan fungsi tutur perintah adalah Liza karena Liza meminta kepada perampok untuk dibebaskan dari sekapanya. Dia juga paling banyak menghasilkan fungsi tutur pertanyaan karena dia adalah peran utama di dalam cerita. Pelaku yang paling banyak menggunakan fungsi tutur pernyataan adalah Zedekiah Smith, dia adalah perampok bank yang kembali untuk menyelamatkan Liza. In the quest to develop leaders who will foster a culture of equity and inclusion in the workplace, a critical factor to assess is Emotional Intelligence. EI (Emotional Intelligence) is a way for us to recognize our emotions as well as the emotions of other people. Individuals who are high in EI can recognize the emotions of others and are able to convey and regulate their own emotions. At organizations, work pressure, strain, anxiety, fearfulness, angstand depression are all related to Emotional Intelligence. These emotions could affect a person’s performance at workstation. Emotions can impact a performance, they can either create a high or crash the employee’s morale which will affect the persons performance positively or negatively. The research paper casts light upon the measurement of EI, and how it impacts an employee’s performance. The highlights the job performance, the importance of performance index. The main purpose of the research analysis is to understand the effectivenessEIin IT(Service Sector), and how it influences their performances. The research methodology used in the study is a hybrid approach that consists of exploratory and descriptive research methods. The exploratory research is considered as the primary research method, while the descriptive research method is considered as the secondary data. We will analyze the relationship between dependent variable and independent variables of factors affecting the development of emotional intelligence of employees. The 2019 General Election which is a combination of the Presidential Election and the Election of legislative members still raises several issues regarding the neutrality of the ASN in its implementation in Banten Province. ASN neutrality is in the public spotlight because there are still cases that occurred in the 2019 Election Period in Banten Province. KASN has the authority to oversee the application of the ASN code of conduct both at the central and regional levels. This research uses a qualitative research method with descriptive research type. Based on the results of the study in this study, a number  of violations  have been found related to ASN neutrality, in the legislation has a lot to regulate the limitations of the ASN when facing Elections, this shows that the government is committed to protecting ASN from various conflicts of interest that can occur. In this regard, KASN has issued various recommendations related to violations of ASN neutrality that occurred during the 2019 Elections in Banten Province. KASN has enforced law against non-neutral ASNs in the 2019 elections. As a result the ASN recommended by KASN to officials responsible for each agency was given strict sanctions according to the level of violations.

As a study of the proposal of a tertiary system for the improvement of the effluent quality of the wastewater treatment plant of the municipality of Jilotepec, the implementation of strategies has been sought, in order to achieve a qualitative research method, focusing on design and mathematical calculations, of wastewater use. To this end, the objectives are to carry out a research methodology proposed to analyze the arrangement of the aerators within the position of the Imhoff-type aerobic reactor, thereby achieving an acceptable sedimentation process, and subsequently to change the position of the aerators within of the aerobic reactor achieving a more complete cleaning to allocate the effluent for irrigation under the parameters of NOM-001-SEMARNAT-1996, looking for a better quality of effluent, with destination of urban use and as a calculation strategy it was proposed to implement a process of phytoremediation to avoid possible damage to the effluent

This research was conducted at PT. Hitachi Power Systems Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to determine the results of data analysis of the effect of Product Quality on Vendor Selection at PT. Hitachi Power Systems Indonesia by distributing questionnaires of 40 respondents. The research methodology used is quantitative descriptive research method. The analysis results show the value of t-count> t-table (5.478> 1.685). This means that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, or there is an influence between Product Quality and Vendor Selection. And from the results of calculations using SPSS version 20, the coefficient of determination (R2) shows the value of R Square = 0.441.This means that the Product Quality variable (X) can explain or explain the Vendor Selection (Y) of 44.1%, the remaining 55.9% ( from the calculation of 100% -44.1%) influenced by other variables not included in the model or equation in this study.The analysis results show the value of t-count> t-table (5.478> 1.685). The scourge of corruption which has almost eaten up the entire Nigeria’s economy is not in any way a new phenomenon in the country. Series of attempt have been made by Nigeria’s past administrations to stop the cankerworm from its manifestation which yielded little or no success. However, the giant stride made by present administration through the introduction of whistle-blowing as a mechanism to fight corruption and other misconduct in Nigeria has been a welcome development in the country. This has given Nigerians the opportunity to expose wrong doing and all sorts of unethical activities in the society as part of contributing their quotas to the development of the country. The study emphasized on the significant contribution and the role played by whistle-blowers towards the recovery of looted funds in Nigeria. Similarly, the study has discovered that the government can do more by making adequate legal protection for the whistle-blowers in order to encourage them towards their participation in the fight against corruption and nefarious activities in the country. If otherwise, the Nigerian government may not achieve its objective. The study equally sensitises Nigerian policy makers and the citizens on the likely dangers if the whistle-blower’s protection law is not passed and ratified by the highest law-making body of Nigeria (The National Assembly). The paper therefore, employs exploratory research method through the use of secondary data to examine the influence of whistle-blowing on corruption and other misconduct in Nigeria.

Islam has arranged all matters relating to human life in the world, including economic activities. In carrying out economic activities must be in accordance with the purpose of life of a Muslim with its implementation is mashlahah on the activities of maqasid syaria. Maqashid sharia has five factors, namely guarding religion, guarding the soul, guarding reason, guarding offspring, and protecting property. Sharia Commercial Bank as a supporter of the community's economy in carrying out all its activities must be based on sharia provisions. Annual Report reflects the activities of Sharia Commercial Banks both financial and non-financial. Maqasid Sharia as an indicator of the implementation of sharia principles must be reflected in the Sharia Commercial Bank Annual Report. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Maqasid Syaria in the Sharia Commercial Bank annual report. The sample in this study is Bank Syariah Mandiri Annual Report. The research method used in this study is qualitative research that is descriptive research and analysis based on theories and other supporting sources. The results of the study are Bank Syariah Mandiri has implemented all aspects of the maqasid syaria as reflected in the Annual Report.Islam sudah mengatur segala urusan yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan manusia di dunia, termasuk aktifitas ekonomi. Dalam melakukan aktivitas ekonomi harus sesuai dengan tujuan hidup seorang muslim dengan implementasinya adalah mashlahah pada aktivitas maqasid syariah. Maqashid syariah memiliki lima faktor, yaitu menjaga agama, menjaga jiwa, menjaga akal, menjaga keturunan, dan menjaga harta. Bank Umum Syariah sebagai salah satu pendukung perekonomian masyarakat dalam menjalankan segala aktivitasnya harus berdasarkan ketentuan syariah. Annual Report mencerminkan dari aktifitas Bank Umum Syariah baik keuangan maupun non keuangan. Maqasid Syariah sebagai indikator terlaksananya prinsip syariah harus tercermin dalam Annual Report Bank Umum Syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi maqasid syariah pada annual report Bank Umum Syariah. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah Annual Report Bank Syariah Mandiri. Metode penelitian yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif dan analisis berdasarkan teori dan sumber-sumber lain yang mendukung. Hasil dari penelitian adalah Bank Syariah Mandiri telah mengimlementasikan seluruh aspek maqasid syariah yang tercermin pada Annual Report.

This research background of how the style of language in the lyrics of Mandar song because of today many of the Mandar song lovers who lack understanding of the meaning that is in the lyrics Mandar song. The purpose of this research was to describe the fact of lyrics and identify the style of language in the lyrics of the song Mandar. This research applied descriptive qualitative research method. Descriptive research was a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written words about the nature of individuals, circumstances, symptoms of certain groups that can be observed. The study, which began in September 2015 to January 2016, was unbound by space. In this study, it was found that the most commonly used hyperbola, asonation, and repetition style. Concluding remarks of the study were 174 lyric styles consisting of 8 personatic language styles, 6 metaphorical language styles, 7 simile / comparison language styles, 10 depersonative language styles, hyperbolic language styles, 7 parallelism languages, 4 style alliteration, 109 asonance and 17 repetition language styles.

This paper focuses on discussing development, humanitarian aid, and peace-making notions alongside their historical backgrounds. Different development approaches and methodological dimensions of development were examined through the development process of Turkey. Humanitarian aid was also handled from a historical perspective. The natural and manmade disasters that humanity has faced in recent years and the performed humanitarian interventions were examined. The interaction points for humanitarian aid, development, and the concept of Triple Nexus, a new concept that meets this process, were also examined. According to the chronology of notions, this study first examines the concept of development with the literature research method, and then the literature research results on the concept of humanitarian aid were included. Descriptive research and observation methods, which are among qualitative research methods, were applied in this paper holistically.
