Historical Perspective of the Triple Nexus: The Challenges of Humanitarian, Peacebuilding, and Development Activities

This paper focuses on discussing development, humanitarian aid, and peace-making notions alongside their historical backgrounds. Different development approaches and methodological dimensions of development were examined through the development process of Turkey. Humanitarian aid was also handled from a historical perspective. The natural and manmade disasters that humanity has faced in recent years and the performed humanitarian interventions were examined. The interaction points for humanitarian aid, development, and the concept of Triple Nexus, a new concept that meets this process, were also examined. According to the chronology of notions, this study first examines the concept of development with the literature research method, and then the literature research results on the concept of humanitarian aid were included. Descriptive research and observation methods, which are among qualitative research methods, were applied in this paper holistically.

Leaders are very important for organizations and businesses. The various characters of leaders can determine the success of an organization due to their role and responsibility for planning, organizing, and decision-making of organizational strategies to achieve their goals. One of the leaders whose characteristic is quite interesting and possibly become our role models is Larry Page, a co-founder of Google Inc. The researchers used qualitative research methods by descriptive research in explaining Larry Page style of leadership in leading Google Inc. Result of this study shows that Larry Page has a very open and equal way of leading, making him a democratic and transformational leader for an instance Larry believe in crazy ideas of their employees since he believes that insane ideas could change the world whereas not all the leaders can trust their subordinate. To hear the ideas, Larry always encourages his subordinate to speak up at every opportunity and instantly give them constructive feedback.

AbstractPurpose of this study was to describe the meaning of ezer kenegdo and to know position and role of women in the family. The research method used is qualitative research methods (library research). The term of “ ezer kenegdo” refer to a helper but her position withoutsuperiority and inferiority. “The patner model” between men and women is uderstood in relation to one another as the same function, where differences are complementary and mutually beneficial in all walks of life and human endeavors.Keywords: Ezer Kenegdo; Women; Family.AbstrakTujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengertian ezer kenegdo dan mengetahui kedudukan dan peran perempuan dalam keluarga. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif library research. Ungkapan “ezer kenegdo” menunjuk pada seorang penolong namun kedudukannya adalah setara tanpa ada superioritas dan inferioritas. “Model kepatneran” antara laki-laki dan perempuan dipahami dengan hubungan satu dengan yang lain sebagai fungsi yang sama, yang mana perbedaan adalah saling melengkapi dan saling menguntungkan dalam semua lapisan kehidupan dan usaha manusia.Kata Kunci: Ezer Kenegdo, Prerempuan, Keluarga.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to find out the promotion and marketing strategy for steel companies in Indonesia. The research method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative research methods. Qualitative research methods include interviews with resource persons and product users (extreme users and expert users) as well as literature studies of journals related to light steel, promotion, and marketing strategy. The conclusion of this research is the need for a promotion that can be accepted by customers and to be able to promote steel companies in Indonesia. The profile of God's servants is a very important teaching that God has entrusted to His church on this earth. God's servants often face enormous challenges in delivering the teachings of God's Word. Such as offers to compromise, participate in committing crimes, unhealthy ambitions to gain a position, engage in the business world and materialism. In the use of wisdom it is not uncommon for God's servants to make their own decisions without involving God. In terms of ethics, God's servants experienced a fall by the temptation of wealth, throne and women. There is even a servant of God directly involved in business and politics so that it deviates far from the teachings of God's Word. Many of God's servants consider it more powerful and pretend to know because they have many congregations, and have spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues. To get maximum results, in this study the authors used qualitative research methods, historical research methods and descriptive research methods. Qualitative research methods by distributing questionnaires to congregants and to several servants of God who serve in the GPdI Rungkut church. This study collected data from the results of the distribution of questionnaire sheets to 175 eligible congregations to fill them. The conclusions of this research are 1) The Apostle Paul is a servant of God who was called by God to carry out His mission, which is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people; 2) First Corinthians describes the profile of the apostle Paul as a servant of God; 3) The Apostle Paul as a servant of God should be emulated by God's servants in Indonesia in general and in particular God's servants in the GPdI Rungkut Surabaya church; 4) God's servants must have knowledge about the profile taught by the apostle Paul so that they have a humble attitude, that is, an attitude that is not defensive when faced with resistance and a sincere attitude to help others; 5) Servants of God serve willingly and not accentuate their ministry so that praise is given from God not from humans; and 6) Servants of God have integrity and strict adherence to the spiritual laws contained in God's word.

The intent is to clinically exposit the importance of research and its processes, to underscore the philosophy of research and its relevance to science, and to make research and its processes a better tool in the hands of researchers. Orchestrating this, the chapter clinically exposits the following sub-headings: research conceptualization, objective research, motivation in research, forms and types of research, exploratory research, descriptive research, qualitative research, quantitative, criteria of a good research method, methodological and theoretical robustness of research, research method and its methodology, and justification for the choice of research method. The chapter, therefore, may make a significant contribution to the field of research. Arguably, the essence is to make research methodology more apt and educative.

Objetives This methodological study explain and emphasize the extent and fertility of the narrative interview in qualitative research. Methods To describe the narrative method within the qualitative research. Results The qualitative research method is characterized by addressing issues related to the singularities of the field and individuals investigated, being the narrative interviews a powerful method for use by researchers who aggregate it. They allow the deepening of research, the combination of life stories with socio-historical contexts, making the understanding of the senses that produce changes in the beliefs and values that motivate and justify the actions of possible informants. Conclusion The use of narrative is an advantageous investigative resource in qualitative research, in which the narrative is a traditional form of communication whose purpose is to serve content from which the subjective experiences can be transmitted.

Survey Results

The research method is the most essential element in conducting scientific research. Teachers need to master scientific research methods as a prerequisite for writing scientific papers, which are part of improving teachers' quality and professionalism. In addition, scientific research and publications are requirements for applications for promotion of functional ranks and government teacher certification. The aim of this workshop is to help teachers understand quantitative and qualitative research methods. The workshop is carried out through class discussions with the participants. The speaker first presented the material, then continued with a simple guided exercise in the class discussion. The data from the workshop were collected by means of tests to see the participants' understanding of the material and a questionnaire to see the usefulness of the workshop given. Based on the survey results, it was found that this research method workshop was well understood and beneficial to teachers. ABSTRACT (INDONESIAN): Metode penelitian menjadi elemen yang sangat penting dalam membuat penelitian ilmiah. Para guru perlu menguasi metode penelitian ilmiah sebagai bekal menulis karya ilmiah yang termasuk salah satu upaya peningkatan kualitas profesionalisme guru. Lebih lagi, penelitian ilmiah dan publikasi merupakan syarat pengajuan kenaikan jabatan fungsional guru serta sertifikasi. Tujuan dari workshop ini adalah untuk membantu para guru untuk memiliki pengetahuan mengenai metode penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Workshop dilakukan melalui diskusi kelas dengan peserta. Pembicara terlebih dahulu mempresentasikan materi, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan latihan terbimbing sederhana dalam diskusi kelas. Data hasil workshop dikumpulkan melalui tes untuk melihat pemahaman peserta terhadap materi dan angket untuk melihat kegunaan workshop yang diberikan. Berdasarkan survey angket, diketahui bahwa workshop metode penelitian ini dapat dipahami dengan baik dianggap bermanfaat bagi para guru.

The title of this research is "The Role of the Health Office in Tackling Child Malnutrition in Ngamprah District, West Bandung Regency". The problem in this research is not yet optimal implementation of the Health Office in Overcoming Malnutrition in Children in Ngamprah District, West Bandung Regency. The research method that researchers use is descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. The technique of determining the informants used was purposive sampling technique. The results showed that in carrying out its duties and functions, the health office, the Health Office had implemented a sufficiently optimal role seen from the six indicators of success in overcoming malnutrition, namely: All Posyandu carry out weighing operations at least once a month All toddlers are weighed, All cases of malnutrition are referred to the Puskemas Nursing or Home Sick, all cases of malnutrition are treated at the health center. Nursing or hospitalization is handled according to the management of malnutrition. All post-treatment malnourished toddlers receive assistance.

The purpose of this research was to find a solution during the pandemic recovery covid-19 with the strengthening of alternative food entrepreneurship sorghum. The research method uses qualitative research methods in entrepreneurship, descriptive qualitative action research with data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation, after the data collected is then analyzed statistically descriptive. The results showed that sorghum can be used as a national food stock facing a crisis and pandemic covid-19, sorghum food stock in the form of grains, rice, flour, soft brand sorghum, and various processed sorghum. National sorghum food stock strategy includes strengthening clusters and production centers, silo utilization cooperation, socialization of various sorghum products, and strengthening Center of Sorghum Entrepreneur (CSE) and Sorghum Entrepreneurship Unit (SEU).
