The purpose of study is the assessment of global Covid-19 on small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) with the case of Technological Incubation Centre (TIC), Ibadan. Three research objectives were raised. A descriptive survey research design was used. The population of the study is 29 (twenty-nine). Total Census survey was adopted as the sampling technique. SPSS software 20 analysis was used to analyze the data. The study concluded that, there has been increase in all the inputs needed for the production processes at the Centre. Therefore, sales of goods at the period of the Covid-19 have been negatively affected, which has similarly impacted on employment generation. It’s recommended that the management of the TIC should assist the businesses to mitigate the adverse effect of the Covid-19; while the Nigerian government should consider the SMEs as an important sub-sector that could restore the economy to the period of better economic growth.

The study examined entrepreneurship education (EE) as a veritable tool for employment generation among Nigerian graduates. A survey research design was used for the study. The population of the study was all the 987 final year students of faculty of education 2019/2020 academic session in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. Stratified sampling technique was used to select 10 % of students in each department, making a total of 99 students who constituted the study sample. The instrument for data collection for the study was a 31-item researcher-constructed questionnaire divided into four clusters. The instrument was validated by experts and tested for reliability using Cronbach’s alpha which yielded a reliability index of 0.71. Mean and standard deviation were used to analyze the Data. The findings of the study showed among others that the method and techniques of teaching EE in Nigerian universities is not adequate. Based on the findings, recommendations were made which included among others that government should strive to adequately fund EE and provide functional EE centers in every Nigerian University.

The study is intended to explore COVID-19 information seeking and utilization among women in Warri Metropolis, Delta State, Nigeria. Descriptive survey research design was adopted using a self-constructed questionnaire to collect data. Data were analyzed using simple percentages. Findings revealed that a majority of the women need information on COVID-19 preventive measures, followed by causes of the pandemic; Internet is the source of COVID-19 information used by the highest number of respondents, followed by television and social media; a majority of them consider the authority of the source of the information on coronavirus followed by usefulness of the information; a majority access COVID-19 information to enable them identify symptoms of the disease followed by protection against COVID-19 infection while concern for reliability of much of the available information on the pandemic was a major barrier to their utilization of COVID-19 information. It is recommended that effort should be made by government to get mobile network operators to reduce network tariff.

The study examined the extent of Academic Achievement of Day and Boarding Secondary Schools Students in Onitsha Education Zone of Anambra State. Three research questions guided the study and survey research design was adopted. Descriptive survey research design was used for the study. The population of the study consisted 850 teachers within Onitsha Education Zone in Anambra State. The sample size consisted 85 teachers and was selected using simple random sampling. The instrument used for data collection was questionnaire and the data collected were analyzed with mean. The findings revealed that boarding students academically achieve better than day students and that day students are distracted at home unlike boarding school students who are under the control of teachers for their study. It was concluded that lack of finance, educational facilities and inadequate infrastructures are the factors that affect the academic achievement of both the day and boarding students. The researchers recommended among others that students should be allowed to attend boarding schools so as to perform better and that government should intervene in schools by providing them with academic and boarding facilities

<p>Preventing of nutritional anemia among adolescents is low, as evidenced by student a senior high school of 2 Banguntapan which Fe tablet consumption during menstruation is still low. So that is necessary knowledge of Fe tablet during menstruation further more. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and the consumption of Fe tablets during menstruation in adolescent. Analytical survey research design with cross secsional, a number of respondents was 64 with a total sampling technique. Instrument by questionnaire on knowledge and Fe tablet checklist to determine Fe tablet consumption. Techniques of data analysis using fisher excact. The results showed that there are only eight respondents (12.5%) whose consuming Fe tablet during menstruation with enough knowledge category. The results of bivariate analysis by fisher exact p-value=0.321 it’s showed that there was no relationship between knowledge with the consumption of iron tablets during menstruation in adolescent.</p>


The study looks at security challenges, causes and effects of security challenges on the resources, types of collection that are more vulnerable to security breaches, challenges encountered in combating the breaches, measures to reduce & address security breaches in Fed. Uni. Lafia library (6) objectives with research questions guided the study. The study uses survey research design. The population examined is (30) library staff & (100) undergraduate students in Fed. Uni. Lafia, summing total population to (130). Data was collected using a questionnaire titled effect of security challenges on library resources in federal University of Lafia library. Random sampling technique was used for the study. Mean tables, frequencies and percentage were used to analysed data. It shows, library is faced with the challenges of book theft, non-return of materials, mutilation, overdue books, shelving of books. Recommendations; To increased security in the library by supervision, patrolling/surveillance, buy copiers, installed security gadgets in the library premises & fencing.

“Desaku”, is an encouragement project which is held in Dian Nuswantoro University. The research is aimed at describing the activity of the project dealing with the strategies of learning process and the motivation of the participants. The descriptive survey research was designed by preparing the questionnaires provided 15 closed questions. The population of the survey are the academic staff and administrative staff of Dian Nuswantoro University as participants of the program. Determination of the number of samples applied the convenience sampling technique. 60 respondents were selected based on the criteria that they had participated as participants in ”Desaku” project for at least one year and were actively involved. The analysis of the data collected is conducted through statistic descriptive using the percentages (%) then it is presented in the form of chart. Each chart had been structured according to its respective fields, and the frequency and percentage used to analyze and describe the results. The results of the research showed that 91% of the participants enjoyed the program and felt happy with the program. 85% of the participants agree that the various strategies have been applied to encourage the staffs to practice English orally.

Purpose: This study investigated the challenges confronting the use of web-based library services in Prof. Festus Aghagbo Nwako Library, NnamdiA zikiwe University, Awka.Methodology: The study adopted descriptive survey research design. The population comprised of 4,529 registered student users of the library and the sample size was 200 students accidentally selected while using the library. Questionnaire was used as the instrument for data collection and the data collected were analyzed using mean.Findings: The result revealed that challenges such as lack of awareness of available web-based services, lack of fund and high cost of Internet services among others were confronting the use of web based services in the library.Implications: lack of awareness of available web-based library services as major challenge to the use of the services shows that students were not aware of these services hence the need for academic libraries to market their web-based services.Value/Originality: The study’s educational value rest on the recommendations that the library should create awareness of available web-based services and the university authority should provide more funds to enable the library to fully upgrade its web-based services so that a true virtual experience could be derived from the use of these services.

This study sort to establish the perceptions of the Hungarian citizens on the involvement of the Roma community in ecotourism. The study targeted domestic tourists through an online survey. A descriptive survey research design was adopted and sampled 247 domestic tourists who had visited tourist destinations in Somogy County and Baranya County in Hungary. Analysis of the quantitative data collected revealed that Hungarian citizens perceive the Roma people’s culture and their natural environment as have the potential to facilitate ecotourism development in rural destinations in Hungary. Approaches to full integration of the Roma community in ecotourism development in rural parts of Hungary are recommended.

This study assessed the challenges facing the laity in their participation in evangelisation in Njoro Parish of Nakuru County Kenya. The study employed a descriptive survey research design. The target population included the Catholic faithful and the priests. The 181 participants were selected using purposive sampling. Data was collected using group discussions, questionnaires and interviews. Different questionnaires were administered for priests (PQ), catechists (CQ) and the laity (LQ). Reliability of the tools was tested using split-half method. A reliability coefficient of 0.5 and above was accepted. Descriptive statistics was used. SPSS programme was used to analyse data and was presented using frequency tables, percentages and charts. The study found out that evangelisation by the laity needs strengthening and that collaborative ministry is necessary for Njoro parish to realise its goal of evangelisation. The results also showed that some of the Christians are passive mainly due to lack of training and reluctance of the laity and the clergy to involve them in evangelisation process. The study observed that the laity needs training in pastoral field so that they could be actively engaged in pastoral activities of the parish. The clergy also needs to sensitise the laity on their role in evangelisation so that they can be effective. The study concludes that challenges of evangelisation calls for a new vision of understanding in order to concretely impact the faith.
