The purpose of this study is to predict university students’ problematic Internet use levels by their attachment styles. The participants of the study are the university students at a large university in Turkey. While the Problematic Internet Usage Scale is used to measure university students’ problematic Internet usage levels, the Relationship Scales Questionnaire is used to determine their attachment styles. The Problematic Internet Usage Scale has the following sub-dimensions: excessive usage, social benefit/social comfort and negative consequences of the Internet. The sub-dimensions of the Relationship Scales Questionnaire involve secure, fearful, preoccupied and dismissing. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis were conducted to analyze the data obtained from the study. Also, correlation and stepwise regression analysis technique are used to investigate the relationship between the problematic Internet usage and the sub-dimensions of the attachment styles. The findings show that the participants have a medium-level of problematic Internet usage. The male university students are more inclined to exhibit problematic Internet usage behaviors than the female students. In addition, the preoccupied, secure and dismissing attachment styles are found to be the significant predictors of problematic Internet usage.

The effects of attachment styles of a group of university students on their rejection sensitivity levels in relation to gender, and parenting styles were investigated. Instruments used were the Rejection Sensitivity Questionnaire (Downey & Feldman, 1996), and the Relationship Scales Questionnaire (Griffin & Bartholomew, 1994). To analyze data, F statistics, t test, regression analysis, and correlation analysis were employed. Rejection sensitivity levels of female students who had fearful attachment styles and of students who experienced authoritarian parenting styles were found to be significantly higher than those of others. Effect of attachment styles on rejection sensitivity and relationship between rejection sensitivity and attachment styles were both found to be significant.

Aim of this research is to examine the predictive power of attachment style on problematic internet use among university students. Participants of study consist of 481 university students (230 girls). Results indicate that there is a negative correlation between secure attachment style and social benefit/social comfort and there is a positive correlation between preoccupied attachment style and social benefit/social comfort which is a sub-dimension of problematic internet use. Considering predictive power of attachment on problematic internet use, results show that preoccupied, secure and dismissing attachment styles are significant predictors of social benefit/social comfort. Results and comments for the future studies on problematic internet use and attachment were discussed in general.

This study was aimed at investigating the relationship between attachment styles and social anxiety. The sample consisted of 600 (300 female, 300 male) university students. Attachment styles and social anxiety levels of university students were measured using the Relationship Scales Questionnaire (Griffin & Bartholomew, 1994), and Social Anxiety Scale (Ozbay & Palanci, 2001), respectively. Multiple regression analysis and correlation analysis were employed to analyze data. Attachment styles were found to be significantly correlated with social anxiety.

This research aims to determine the relationship between balanced and the ability to dribble, the relationship between eye-foot coordination and the ability to dribble, and the relationship between balanced and eye-foot coordination on the ability todribble in futsal game Karsa Utama Putri Wajo’s club. The research was correlational research, with the independent variable was balanced and eye-foot coordination, while the dependent variable was the ability to dribble. The population of theresearch was Karsa Utama Putri Wajo's club players and the sampling technique used was total sampling technique with the total sample was 25 players. The analysis technique used was descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis. The results showed that 1)There was a significant relationship between balanced and the ability to dribble in Karsa Utama Putri Wajo's club players with a correlation value (r) = 0,738. 2) There was asignificant relationship between eye-foot coordination on the ability to dribble in Karsa Utama Putri Wajo's club players with a correlation value (r) = 0,553. 3) There was asignificant relationship between balanced and eye-foot coordination on the ability to dribble in Karsa Utama Putri Wajo's club player swith a correlation value (r)=0.823,and a coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.677 or equal to 67,7%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between balanced and coordination of the ankle son the ability to dribble in futsal game of Karsa Utama Putri Wajo's club.

The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between the multimodal literacy of pre-service teachers and their perception of self-efficacy in critical reading. At the same time, it is to what extent their multimodal literacy levels predict their perception of self-efficacy in critical reading. 337 students were chosen via convenience sampling for this study which was designed on the basis of relational survey model. The data which is needed to answer the relevant questions in our study was collected by means of Multimodal Literacy Scale (Bulut, Ulu and Kan, 2015) and Critical Reading Self-Sufficiency Perception Scale (Karadeniz, 2014). The analyses of the data collected were conducted through Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient analysis technique and multiple regression analysis technique. In view of the results we have obtained in this study, multimodalness is a strong predictive of self-efficacy perception in critical reading (R=.517; R2=.267) [F(3.336)=40.483, p˂.000). The dimension of expressing oneself using multimodal structures (r=.362), interpretation of the contents presented in multimodal structures (r=.466) and preferring multimodal structures (r=.209) has a positive and significant effect on critical reading self-efficacy perception.

The relationship between emotion management skills and the use of the Internet was examined in this study to determine whether or not the emotion management skills of university students are a predictor of Internet addiction. The study was conducted in the 2008/2009 academic year with 345 students from different departments of a university in Turkey. Data were collected using the Emotion Management Skills Inventory (Çeçen, 2006) and the Problematic Internet Usage Scale (Ceyhan, Ceyhan, & Gürcan, 2007). Results of regression analysis showed that the total measure of emotion management skills predicted the levels of Internet addiction.

The analysis technique used is linear regression analysis with SPSS program. This study aims to determine the effect of ROA on stock prices through EPS as a mediator. The results showed that ROA has no significant effect on stock prices, but ROA has a significant influence on the mediation variable that is EPS. EPS variable has positive and significant effect to stock price. ROA and EPS have a significant effect on stock prices. EPS is fully mediated variable and can significantly mediate the relationship between ROA and stock prices. Relationship and partner ideals are used to evaluate relationships and partners and may influence important decisions in relationships. The association between relationship and partner ideals and participants' sex and attachment styles was examined among 362 Norwegian university student volunteers (237 women, 126 men), ages 19 to 49 years ( M = 23.2, SD = 4.6). Women rated the Partner Warmth/Trustworthiness, Partner Status/Resources, and Relationship Intimacy/Loyalty ideal dimensions significantly higher than men. Those classified as having Dismissing relationship style had a significantly lower mean score on the Partner Warmth/Trustworthiness dimension than those with Preoccupied style, and a significantly lower mean on the Relationship Intimacy/Loyalty dimension than those classified as Secure.
