The Church

The pandemic period resulted in all educational activities in Indonesia undergoing a change in the shape of the learning process. The learning process that is used to face-to-face meetings between teachers and students turns into an online learning system. The Sunday School education is no exception. This study aims to find obstacles, solutions and future projections for Sunday school activities in Indonesian baptism churches. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this study found that most baptism churches have disabled Sunday School activities because the church is not ready to facilitate students in online learning. However, it was found that a number of baptism churches were committed to holding Sunday school activities. The obstacles faced are related to the lack of ability to apply technological facilities by teachers, parents and students. also an obstacle to spending a large quota. The solution is to improve technological capabilities for teachers and parents. Future projection is to strengthen the ability of parents in biblical knowledge and teaching skills of children at home. Masa pandemi mengakibatkan seluruh kegiatan pendidikan di Indonesia mengalami perubahan bentuk proses pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran yang sudah terbiasa dengan bertatap muka antar guru dan murid berubah menjadi sistem online learning. Tidak terkecuali pendidikan Sekolah Minggu mengalami dampak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari kendala, solusi dan proyeksi ke depan atas kegiatan sekolah minggu yang ada di gereja baptis Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan Sebagian besar gereja baptis telah menonaktifkan kegiatan Sekolah Minggu dikarenakan belum siapnya gereja dalam menfasilitasi murid dalam pembelajaran online. Namun ditemukan beberapa gereja baptis yang berkomitmen tetap menyelengarakan kegiatan Sekolah minggu. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi berhubungan dengan kurangnya kemampuan mengaplikasikan sarana teknologi oleh guru, orang tua dan murid. juga kendala menghabiskan kuota yang tidak sedikit. Solusi adalah dengan meningkatkan kemampuan teknologi bagi guru dan orang tua. Proyeksi kedepan adalah dengan menguatkan kemampuan orang tua dalam pengetahuan alkitab dan skill mengajar anak di rumah.

In an effort to suppress the spread of the Covid-19 virus, Kemdikbud took a policy to close schools during the Covid-19 pandemic. All schools that initially did conventional learning by face-to-face, now learning is done from home through distance learning or online system, no exception pondok pesantren. The purpose of this research is to find out the distance learning process conducted by Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah 2 Cipining, Bogor. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative approach. Based on research can be known that in learning, pesantren use various platforms such as google classroom, google meet, whatsapp, and smart system. In this online learning, the materials and tasks given are quite diverse, although there are no tasks in the form of discussions so that the interaction between students and students and teachers cannot be done. All parties, both students, teachers, and parents experienced a culture shock with the existence of this distance learning system / online. Distance learning /online also gives rise to physical distancing. Religious activities that are usually carried out in pesantren are now carried out at home and all must be reported to the teacher or room guardian via whatsapp. The challenges faced in online learning include a lack of interaction between teachers and students, a network that arises to sink, quotas that are rapidly depleted and expensive, and a lack of active participation of students. Therefore, the readiness of both teachers and students, as well as motivation from parents can also support the implementation of this distance learning process. In addition, the provision of quotas is also important to support the online learning process carried out by pesantren.

The COVID-19 pandemic that has recently hit various countries including Indonesia has resulted in major changes in various fields, including in the development of the education sector. The teaching and learning process has turned from face-to-face into an online method. However, there are several obstacles experienced by schools that implement an online learning system, one of them was the ability of teachers who do not understand various learning application platforms. In addition, the material provided by the teacher is not maximally acceptable to students because most teachers provide learning material from the pages of textbooks or teacher writings (scans, photos, or presentation files). For this reason, it is necessary to have variations in the provision of teaching materials to students by making interesting and creative learning videos using the Movavi Education Set. With learning videos, students can do lessons at home, repeat it, and can ask the teacher some points from it if they don't understand. By using Movavi Education Set, teachers are also free to be creative in making learning videos that can be shared through commonly used communication applications such as e-mail, WhatsApp, line, google classroom and other applications.

Online learning is a learning via internet without meeting face-to-face between teachers and students. This online learning system is relatively new, therefore teachers and students should adapt quickly. This study aims to determine the online Arabic learning system during the COVID-19 pandemic at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 1 Surakarta. Researcher used a qualitative approach and observation, interview, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results described that e-learning madrasah was used as the main media for online Arabic learning at MTsN 1 Surakarta during the covid-19 pandemic, then assisted by Whatsapp and Youtube channel. The subject matter was presented in video, powerpoint, and pdf. The learning stages were divided into three: preparation, implementation (pre-activities, whilst-activities and post-activities), and evaluation stage. This online learning helps teachers to coordinate with and supervise students easily, on the other hand, it is difficult for them to monitor the students’ understanding and bad internet network make some students could not follow the learning process in time.

The Covid-19 pandemic has led to policies that make teachers and students have to adapt the face-to-face learning model to online learning. The teacher of SD N 2 Cakranegara admits that there are limitations to the variety of audio-visual learning media used. The teachers also don't know and have never tried to develop game games with learning content, even though Android-based games are very possible to be developed and accessed portable on smartphones, the majority of which are already owned by teachers and students. The provision of workshops and assistance in making Android-based educational games for SD N 2 Cakranegara teachers aims to improve skills in creating and developing learning media in the form of educational games and maximizing the use of smartphones. The targeted output in this service activity is the existence of educational games that are ready to be used for the online learning process through appsgeyser.com and quickappninja.com.

The sophisticated information and technology (IT) development can be the answer for various problems post the covid-19 pandemic, particularly the teaching and learning challenges. The role of IT that is booming nowadays is online learning. Online learning is obviously different from regular learning. In this mode of learning, the students are required to have the ability to receive and process information. It serves as media that connect teachers and students who are being remote from one another at any time and anyplace. There are various media utilized to perform online learning such as WhatsApp, Google Meet, Zoom, Google Classroom, and other e-learning platforms. Among all these media, though, WhatsApp apparently appointed as the simplest and easiest media to access in all levels of education. Online learning at current is the effective medium to carry on the teaching and learning process in all levels of education. For the effectiveness of online teaching and learning process during the covid-19 pandemic, there have been a number of learning models suggested by the expert such as remote learning, face to face learning, e-learning, project-based learning, and Blended Learning.

Virtual University is a learning system by providing an online environment based on information and communication technology. This system can overcome the problems that arise due to covid-19 not to gather together to do the learning process, but must learn from their respective places. This Virtual University system uses Moodle version 3.7 with PHP and MySql programming language platforms as a database server and Apache as a web server can be an innovative learning method that is an ideal solution and in accordance with existing conditions with the hope that it can improve the quality of education if used optimally and comprehensive. This system can perform the basic functions of an e-learning system in which the lecturer can upload lecture material and students can download the material online and can conduct online meetings that can replace face to face in the room. The general objective of this research is to apply a web-based online learning system. The system applied is software that supports the ongoing teaching and learning process for online learning through the internet. The software is installed on the server and can be accessed by participants of online learning programs from browser applications on their PC / cell, and the formation of a university that is not limited by time and space. The stages of this research are: determining user needs, creating a system model, design, system implementation, and testing.

The online learning system is still having problems. As a result of the observations of the USU team, several obstacles were felt not only by the teachers at MIN 2 Serdang Bedagai but also by students and parents. The problems that occur are quite diverse. Starting from limited signal, limited devices suitable for online learning, to the lack of technological knowledge of teachers and students on online applications that support the teaching and learning process. There are various online applications available today, such as Google Classroom, Zoom, Google Meet, Youtube, and others. These various online applications play an important role in helping students and teachers in the distance learning process. The USU team conducted training using the online application Google Classroom and Zoom. Google Classroom and Zoom were chosen because they are easier for the teacher to implement, besides that the two online applications facilitate coordination and communication between teachers and students, so that the material being taught can be discussed more easily, more freely and can be updated more quickly. In this community service, Online Learning training was conducted for the Elementary School / Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Level with Various Online Applications at MIN 2 Serdang Bedagai. This community service has reached the implementation stage of training which begins with the initial survey stage, provision of training modules and also training. The next stage is monitoring and evaluation and feedback.

Pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya adaptasi dalam hal mengelola proses pembelajaran tatap muka ke pembelajaran online yang dilakukan oleh guru dan siswa guna tetap dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Adapun kegiatan ini akan dilakukan melalui zoom meeting dengan menggunakan metode sosialisasi. Sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru di lingkungan SMKN 1 Karawang. Luaran pengabdian akan dipublikasikan di jurnal buana pengabdian UBP Karawang. Kata Kunci : pengelolaan pembelajaran online, pandemic. Abstract This dedication is motivated by the need for adaptation in terms of managing the face-to-face learning process to online learning carried out by teachers and students in order to keep abreast of the times and improve the quality of learning in the classroom. This activity will be carried out through a zoom meeting using the socialization method. The targets in this activity are teachers in the SMKN 1 Karawang environment. Abstract : The positive online learning system policy is enforced for all levels of school, from kindergarten, elementary, junior high, high school to tertiary level. This policy was enforced due to the Covid-19 pandemic, for this reason an online learning system or distance learning was implemented as an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The online learning system policy is deemed the right policy to be implemented in the face of the current pandemic because teachers and students do not meet face to face directly. Based on this background, the objectives of this study are 1) understanding and explaining the application of the online learning system policy in Mts Ketegan Sidoarjo, 2) analyzing the motives for implementing the online learning system policy at Mts Ketegan Sidoarjo. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, because to explain the research was carried out in depth. The theory used in this research is Schutz's theory of social motives. Schuzt introduced two motive terms, namely the "cause" motive (because of motive) and the "goal" motive (in order to motive), this theory can be used to reveal the real motive behind the implementation of the online system policy in Mts Ketegan Sidoarjo. The results of this study indicate that the policies are implemented in accordance with applicable regulations because they are given the purpose of the policy itself, namely to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Keywords: action motive; education policy; pandemic   Abstrak : Kebijakan sistem pembelajaran daring positif diberlakukan untuk seluruh jenjang sekolah mulai dari TK, SD, SMP, SMA hingga ke jenjang perguruan tinggi. Kebijakan tersebut diberlakukan akibat adanya pandemi Covid-19, untuk itu sistem pembelajaran daring atau pembelajaran jarak jauh diterapkan sebagai upaya untuk mencegah penyebaran Covid-19. Kebijakan sistem pembelajaran daring dirasa kebijakan yang tepat untuk diterapkan dalam menghadapi pandemi saat ini karena antara guru dengan murid tidak bertatap muka secara langsung. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut yang menjadi  tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu 1)memahami dan menjelaskan penerapan kebijakan sistem pembelajaran daring yang ada di Mts Ketegan Sidoarjo, 2)menganalisis motif pelaksanaan kebijakan sistem pembelajaran daring yang di Mts Ketegan Sidoarjo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif, karena untuk menjelaskan maka penelitian dilakukan secara mendalam. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori motif sosial dari Schutz. Schuzt memperkenalkan dua istilah motif yaitu motif “sebab” (because of motive) dan motif “tujuan” (in order to motive), teori tersebut dapat digunakan untuk mengungkap motif yang sebenarnya dibalik pelaksanaan kebijakan sistem daring yang ada di Mts Ketegan Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan diterapkan  tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku karena mengingat dari tujuan kebijakan itu sendiri yaitu untuk mencegah penyebaran Covid-19.   Kata Kunci: motif tindakan, kebijakan pendidikan, pandemi

Three Stages

The Covid-19 virus has changed the learning process around the world, Efforts made during a pandemic are online learning. Where the online learning system can be done without having to meet face to face but through virtual classes through online media. The aim of this research is to get an overview of the implementation of online learning in the Economic Education Study Program of STKIP 'Aisyiyah Riau. The subjects in this study were all students of the Economic Education Study Program. The method of data collection is done by using the interview method via the zoom meeting app and by telephone. Data were analyzed in three stages, namely the process of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Online learning was very effective in the Covid-19 period which could increase motivation and comfort in the learning process; (2) overall students already have the means to support online learning; (3) Quota fees that must be paid by students for online learning are quite expensive; (4) Online learning can reduce the spread of Covid-19 in STKIP 'Aisyiyah RiauKeywords : Effectiveness, Online learning, Covid-19
