Femoral fracture is continuity disconnected of the femoral shaft occurring due to direct trauma (traffic accidents, falls from the height), and it is usually experienced by the adult males. Fractures of this area affects heavy bleeding and impacts the shock. This study aimed to find out whether there is the influence of pre-operative health education to the self-concept improvement on femoral fracture patients At Haji Medan Hospital of North Sumatera Government in 2021The research type used was Quasi Experiment design. This study used one group pre-test and post-test design. The research location was at Haji Medan Hospital of North Sumatera Government in 2021. The population were all femoral fracture patients having treatment at Haji Medan Hospital of North Sumatera Government. Based on RSU Haji Medical record data, there were 30 patients in July- December 2020. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The total sample were 20 femoral patients.The outputs described that there is a significant correlation between pre operative health education and self-concept improvement on femoral fracture patients At Haji Medan Hospital of North Sumatera Government in 2021. The value is p < α as 0.000 < 0.05. It is proved that pre operative health education to be effective in improving self-concept on femoral fracture patients At Haji Medan Hospital of North Sumatera Government in 2021.The suggestion of the study is required to be applied by medical practitioner in the hospital, particularly the nurses providing the nursing care to the femoral fracture patients and support the patients in overcoming the anxiety of the disease by maximizing the existing social supports.

<p>This research was conducted with the purpose of knowing the self concept and anxiety influence students towards an understanding of mathematical concepts. The methods used in this research is a survey method. Affordable population are students of Class XI Science social sciences academic year 2014/2015 in Depok. Large sample as much as 90 students, with a sampling technique used was a combination of proportional and random, taken from three private schools. Research instrument used, namely the now self concept as much as 37 statement, now as many as 36 students anxiety statements, test understanding math concepts shaped 24 multiple choice question, which has been in test validitasnya. Data analysis using path analysis. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that: 1) there is a significant direct influence on the concept itself against the understanding of mathematical concepts. 2) there is a significant direct influence on anxiety of students towards an understanding of mathematical concepts. 3) there is a significant direct influence on the concept of yourself against anxiety students. 4) there is an indirect influence on the concept of understanding the mathematical concepts themselves against through the anxiety of students.</p><p><br /> <strong>Keywords</strong>: self concept, to the dismay of the students, understanding of math concepts.</p>

Bullying behavior was affected by nternal factors. The internal factor was self-concept. The purpose of this research was to reveal the extent to which the self-concept contributed toward bullying behavior. This research used quantitative approach and correlation method. The population of the research was the students in claas X and XI. The sample was chosen by using proportional random sampling technique. The instrument of the research was a scala of Likert model. The reliability of the instrument of the self-concept was 0.873, and bullying behavior was 0.899. the data gathered were analized by using simple regression. The research findings indicated that: 1) self-concept in general, was in average category in which physical and social aspects got the highest percentage, 2) bullying behavior in genaral was in average category in which verbal and relational bullying got the highest percentage, 2) self-concept contributed negatively and significantly toward bullying behavior.

The objective of the study was to identify the relationship of different dimensions of perceived quality of home environment and self-concept of undergraduate university students. Correlational research was selected as the research design. The population of the study was university students of the education department of public and private universities of Lahore. The total population was 1760. A proportionate stratified random sampling technique was used to select the sample. The strata were formed on the basis of the nature of the universities. The total number of students selected as the sample was 528. The instrument consisted of three parts; the first part consisted of demographic information (gender, nature of institution). The second part consisted of the Home Environment Inventory, designed by Misra (1983) to measure the quality of the home environment and the third part consisted of the Self-Concept Scale by Rastogi (1979) to measure self-concept. Multiple regression analysis was used to determine the relationship between the variables. The results indicated a significant relationship between the home environment and the self-concept of university students.

Abstact. Yogyakarta gets an emergency label by the media. Initially klitih has a positive meaning but there is a shift in meaning to negative. This klitih action caused social upheaval because this action claimed lives. Individual behavior is determined by self-concept that is dynamic and moves according to the factors that influence it. Therefore, this study discusses the self-concept of young perpetrators of klitih in the in Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Wonosari Yogyakarta and the factors that influence it. This research uses a qualitative method with a symbolic interaction approach. The subjects in this study were three teenagers who had done clits and is in LPKA Wonosari Yogyakarta, with sampling using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that all three subjects had positive self-concepts after being in LPKA. Factors that influence self-concept are the roles of parents, peers, community and learning outcomes.Keywords: Self-concept, adolescent, klitihAbstrak. Yogyakarta mendapatkan label darurat klitih oleh media masa. Awalnya klitih memiliki makna positif namun terjadi pergeseran makna menjadi negatif. Aksi klitih ini menimbulkan kegaduhan sosial dikarenakan aksi ini memakan korban nyawa. Perilaku individu ditentukan oleh konsep diri yang bersifat dinamis dan bergerak sesuai dengan faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini membahas tentang konsep diri remaja pelaku klitih di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Wonosari Yogyakarta dan faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Peneltian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan interaksi simbolik. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga orang berusia remaja yang pernah melakukan klitih dan berada di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Wonosari Yogyakarta, dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa ketiga subjek memiliki konsep diri yang psoitif setelah berada di LPKA. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi konsep diri adalah peran orang tua, teman sebaya, masyarakat dan hasil belajar.Kata kunci: Konsep diri, remaja, klitih

ABSTRAK            Menurut survei tahun (2015),   stroke merupakan pembunuh nomor satu di RS Pemerintah di seluruh Indonesia. Diperkirakan ada 550.000 penduduk yang terkena stroke.Keluarga memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan pasien yang mengalami stroke. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasieksperimenpre danpostonegroup design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien stroke yang masuk ke Rumah Sakit Stroke Nasional (RSSN) Bukittinggi yang berjumlah 366 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel AccidentialSampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2017 - Juni 2018. Hasil uji-T untuk dukungan keluarga pada pasien stroke sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakan penyuluhan kesehatan didapatkan p-value 0,000 (α≤0,05) artinya, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga yang diberikan pada pasien stroke sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penyuluhan kesehatan. Hasil uji-T pada konsep diri pasien stroke sebelum dan sesudah didapatkan p-value 0,000 (α≤ 0,05) artinya, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara konsep diri pasien stroke sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penelitian. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap konsep diri pasien stroke yang mengalami kelumpuhan di Poli Klinik Saraf Rumah Sakit Stroke Nasional Bukittinggi ditandai dengan p-value 0,000 (α≤0,05). Diharapkan tenaga kesehatan perlu memberikan pendidikan kesehatan mengenai perawatan pasien stroke yang mengalami kelumpuhan dan tentang bagaimana pasien stroke untuk mempertahankan dirinya.Kata Kunci   : DukunganKeluarga; Konsep Diri; Pasien Stroke The Effect of Family Support on Self-Concept of Stroke Patients Who Have Paralysis at the Nerve Polyclinic of the National Stroke HospitalBukittinggi Year 2018 ABSTRACT            According to a 2015 survey, strokes are the number one killer in Government hospitals throughout Indonesia. More than 550,000 people were stroked. This research is a quasi-experimental pre and post one group design. The population in this study were 366 stroke patients who entered the National Stroke Hospital in Bukittinggi with Accidential Sampling sampling techniques. This study was conducted in June 2017 - June 2018. The results of the T-test for family support for stroke patients before and after the implementation of health counseling obtained p-value 0,000 (α≤0,05) which means that there was a significant difference between family support given in stroke patients before and after health education. The T-test results on the self-concept of stroke patients before and after obtaining p-value 0,000 (α≤ 0,05) means that there is a significant difference between the self-concept of stroke patients before and after the research. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of family support on the self-concept of stroke patients who experience paralysis at the Neural Stroke Clinic of Bukittinggi National Stroke Hospital marked by p-value 0,000 (α (0,05). I hope health workers need to provide health education about the care of stroke patients who experience paralysis and about how stroke patients maintain themselves.Kata Kunci     : Family Support; self-concept; stroke patients

Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of self-concept and motivation to buy whitening products among girls.Subjects in this study were young woman using cosmetic whitening facial at the University Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with the Product Moment Correlation analysis method.The results of the self-concept of variable data with the motivation to buy whitening products shows the value of (r) 0.725 with P = 0.000 (P <0.01). Based on the results of the analysis can be stated that the hypothesis is accepted. This means that self control variables contribute effectively to the motivation to buy whitening products by 52.5% and 47.5%. Introduction: The communication and interaction is the essence of every human as a social being. But, normal communications is not realyzed by the deaf speaking children. Deaf and speech impaired children affect self-concepts that affect communication. Where it will caused them to become inferior or have less confident. The confidence is begins through the formation of self-concept which formed from the experiences in their social interactions. This study aims to find the description of the communication and self-concept of the deaf and speech impaired children in SLB Darma Wanita Sumenep. Methods: This study used qualitative as a research methode with phenomenology approach. Respondents in this study are students of SLB Darma Wanita Sumenep who deaf and speech impaired start on birth. The sampling technique is used purposive sampling counted 10 respondents.    The data collected by observation and in-depth interviews of respondents. The data were analyze with triagulation of the interview , key person, and observation. Results: Based on the results of this study, known that between the deaf speaking children and the normal people have problems in terms of understanding the symbols and sentences that there not regularly, so they often occur discommunication. The self-concept of deaf speaking children is tend to be shy with the opposite gender, less open with new people, but they have a high spirits for they futures. They need encouragement to socialize with new people and other normal people. It can make their self-concept and self-confidence can be better. Conclusion: The communication deaf and speech impaired children experience obstacles in sending or receiving messages due to interference in understanding the symbols and writing that are given.

Trust in the brand is important and is a major factor in the development of brand loyalty. Along with the development of industry, entertainment, information and technology, style of fashion becomes a medium to demonstrate the existence of a person in the community. By following certain fashion, people can show their true identity. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Self Concept Connection, Brand Love, Brand Trust and Brand Image on the increase Brand Loyalty.The focus of this study object is H&M brand in Jakarta region. The data used in this study were gathered by spreading the questionnaires to users who have purchased the H&M brand is more than one time. This study used convinience sampling as a sampling technique and obtained 158 respondend and this data processed into this study result. This study uses SEM analyze to test the data.

Pulmonary TB is still a major global health problem. It causes ill-health among millions of people every year and ranks the second leading cause of death from infectious diseases worldwide after Human Immunodeficiency Virus. This disease can affect anyone and can cause physical, mental, and social changes. This situation can affect the sufferer's self-concept. The purpose of this study was to determine how many TB patients with dental caries experienced impaired self-concept. Design This research is a quantitative descriptive study using a cross-sectional non-analytic design. The population in this study were all 64 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis with dental caries, using a total sampling technique. The variable in this study was the self-concept of pulmonary tuberculosis patients with dental caries.The results showed that patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in the Work Area of the Ambunten Health Center, Ambunten District, Sumenep Regency in 2018, showed that of the 64 respondents studied had a self- concept disorder where most 36 people (56%) experienced negative self-concept and 28 people (43.8%) had a conceptual disorder. positive self. The conclusion of the self-concept study of pulmonary tuberculosis patients is that most people who suffer from pulmonary TB disease still experience negative self-concept disorders.

Introduction: The self-concept is all thoughts, beliefs and faiths that make the person know about him and affect his contact with others. Usually self-concept of pulmonary tuberculosis patients is impaired resulting from physical changes such as becoming physically thinner, paler, frequent coughing, body weaknesses and decrease of physical ability. Based on preliminary studies on eight respondents 75% experiencing body image disorder, 75% self-ideal disorder, 100% self-role disorder, 50% self-esteem disorder.The aim of this researrch is to determine self-concept of pulmonary tuberculosis patients in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Gombong.The present study used descriptive quantitative method with survey approach. The total samples were 31 people taken by purposive sampling technique. The data were taken by questionnaires and analyzed using univariate analysis.The frequency distribution based on the self-concept were less (83.9%), mediocre (9.7%), and good category (6.5%). The body image were less (83.9%), mediocre (9.7%), good (6.5%). The self-ideal were less (90.3%), and mediocre category (9.7%). Personal identity were less (58.1%), enough (22.6%), and good category (19.4%). The self-role were less (54.8%), good (25.8%), and mediocre category (19.4%). Self-esteem were less (51.6%), mediocre (32.3%), and good category (16.1%).The largest percentage of the self-concept, body image, self-ideal, personal identity, self-role, and self-esteem of pulmonary tuberculosis patients was less category. Keywords: self-concept, body image, self-ideal, personal identity, self-role, self-esteem, pulmonary tuberculosis patients
