This research was conducted to determine the communication strategy used by Paulus when solving problems between Philemon and Onesimus. This is done to be implemented in every ministry of God's servant or Christian Religious Education teacher. To be able to get a good and biblical understanding, the researcher uses a qualitative approach. In this case, specifically the literature review by analyzing qualitative data from several commentaries, introductions to Philemon's letter to the latest articles that have examined matters surrounding the relationship between Philemon and Onesimus. Based on the results of this study, it was found that there were three types of communication used by Paul, namely: communication to God, communication to Philemon, and communication to Onesimus.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to critically investigate a group of year 11 boys’ relationship to RE in response to debates about boys’ underachievement in RE. Design/methodology/approach – Qualitative data were collected through observations and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis draws upon pro-feminist and poststructuralist theories of the gendered subject. Findings – The data presented in this paper reveals how RE functioned as a political space for the exploration of social justice issues that formed part of the boys’ daily experiences, serving to increase awareness and understanding of diversity. Research limitations/implications – At a time of curriculum change where RE has been marginalised by exclusion from the DfE's English Baccalaureate this paper also seeks to contribute to debates about education for social justice through critical, pluralistic RE within a neo-liberal policy context. Practical implications – RE is shown to be a potent educational resource for challenging pupils’ negative social practices and producing more reflexive masculine subjects. Social implications – The contribution of RE to ensuring greater understanding and dialogue requires reassertion and protection within the curriculum. Originality/value – The data presented shows that where RE is taken up by masculine subjects it offers an alternative discourse with potential to create community cohesion and interfaith dialogue.

The purpose of this study is to describe the condition of PAI teachers in teaching related to the use of instructional media. This study uses a qualitative approach. The instrument of this research is the researcher himself. Key informants are PAI teachers, while supporting informants are principals, teachers and students as well as other informants who are obtained by using snow-ball sampling.The findingsof the study obtained an overview of the conditions of theimplementation of the process of religious learning conducted by the teacher. In this case therelationship with variations in using instructional media. It was found in this study that in generalthe teaching teacher was accustomed to traditional ways and could not use the media. Besidesthat, the instructional media available in schools cannot be used for various reasons. And eventeachers have been satisfied with the teaching conditions that have been carried out for years,so they are not interested in using the right instructional media in accordance with the learningmaterial provided.

Abstract. The role of the Islamic Religious Education teacher in learning is very important, especially in instilling students’ religious values. With the application of the religious culture of students in daily life at school, it will have a major influence on the attitudes and practice of students’ religious teachings in their daily life. In general, this study aims to describe the efforts of Islamic Education teachers in improving religious culture at SMPN 44 Bandung. Specifically, the purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, constraints, and outcomes of the religious culture program at SMPN 44 Bandung. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results of this study indicate that the PAI teacher in improving religious culture at SMPN 44 Bandung can be said to be quite successful, especially in changing the character or behavior of students. Abstrak. Peranan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam pembelajaran sangat penting, khususnya dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai religius siswa. Dengan diterapkannya budaya religius siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di sekolah akan besar pengaruhnya terhadap sikap dan pengamalan ajaran agama siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya  guru PAI dalam meningkatkan budaya religius di SMPN 44 Bandung. Secara khusus tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan  perencanaan, pelaksanaan, kendala, dan hasil dari program budaya religius di SMPN 44 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif.  Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI dalam meningkatkan budaya religius di SMPN 44 Bandung ini bias dikatakan cukup berhasil, khususnya dalam merubah akhlak atau perilaku siswa yang sebelumnya kurang baik menjadi baik.  Kata kunci: Upaya Guru PAI, Budaya Religius, PAI di Sekolah

This research contributes to the detailed discussion about the approach to secure, hygienic water and cleanliness in Uganda and its pastoral regions. The relationship between the sanitation and clean water access with destitution is also discussed. Although this document is not leading towards the policy recommendation but it is an overall idea of how Uganda progressed because of the provisions adopted by the government, local and international organizations, and NGOs, and how the country lacked before these steps taken. Most of the data mentioned is taken from the house surveys of a decade 2002-2013 alongside the qualitative data. Literature review is also considered and is divided in two sections: first included researches related to water accessibility and usage, while the second section included researches related to work done and progress for diarrheal diseases and sanitation. Afterwards, methodologies were discussed where, firstly, trends and then the limitations in access to the basic necessities of life that is clean water and hygiene are mentioned. At last, the implementations and how they affected the rural Ugandans was discussed.

Teachers are educational heroes. Progressive retreat of educational practices in a country is also determined by the role of the teacher. In this context, it is necessary and important to evaluate and discuss further how the portrait of reality (das sollen) and ideality (das sein) concerning teachers of Islamic religious education of early age in Indonesia. Therefore, this study focuses on the teacher's problem between ideality and reality. This study was written using qualitative data that derived from references and literature books, news, journals and opinions in mass media and other relevant sources in this study. This research focuses on the following important questions: Firstly, what and how is the role of early Islamic education teacher in literacy eradication in Indonesia? Second, how are the supporting factors and obstacles to the role of early Islamic education teachers in literacy eradication in Indonesia? The government has regulated that each student is entitled to religious education in accordance with his/her religion. However, some schools, one of which is SMA Santa Theresia (Santa Theresia Senior High School), have special regulations. Since these schools are run by Catholic foundations, they provide Catholic religious instruction to all students. Walgito (2004) reported that a person's perception will affect a person’s actions. Therefore, this research aims to reveal the Muslim students’ perception of the Catholic lessons they follow. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. The data were collected using interviews, observation and documentation through a process of data triangulation. The subjects selected through a purposive sampling method by considering that they are the eleventh grade students and taught by the same religious education teacher. The data were analyxed using Miles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results indicated that the Muslim students have positive perception of the materials that are easy to apply in their daily lives, and also have a negative perception of the materials that have a lot of memorization and theories.

This study aims to identify the relationship between the village head and the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in the use of village funds in the village of Karang Jaya, Namlea District, and explain the influence on the development of village communities. The problem is focused on the use of village funds which should be a stimulus for development in each village, but, in management, there are often problems that hinder village development. This study seeks to see and get deeper into the relationship that has been built between the village head and the BPD in the village of Karang Jaya. The approach used in this study uses a qualitative approach. The number of informants who will be interviewed is 15 people taken purposively, considering that respondents are regarded as related parties to achieve the research objectives. Researchers used observational data collection techniques and in-depth interviews to obtain data on the implementation of the village fund program. The analysis technique used in this research is qualitative data analysis following the concepts given by Miles and Huberman, and Spradley. This study concludes that the parallel relationship pattern between the BPD and the village head in the management of the village government as regulated in the legislation, it turns out that in its implementation, there is enough response so that the working relationship becomes harmonious and leads to a pattern of cooperation and shows a tendency to share tasks that are parallel between the heads. One of the nusantara scholars with famous work inscriptions is Nawawi al-Bantani. These works are recorded in a multidisciplinary scope, one of which is Qami 'al-Tughyan. The significance of this research lies in the influence of environmental factors of Nawawi in the nusantara which have an influence on the style of writing, especially in the field of hadith. This study aims to reveal the facts of causality with the orientation of the literature analysis surrounding Nawawi's notes in compiling the Qami' al-Tughyan. The author will take an inductive qualitative approach by conducting a literature review through related literatures, derived from the object variables in the first ten sections (syu'bah) of the book Qami 'al-Tughyan. Then, the data will be explored in order to produce comprehensive and optimal research results. This research proves that the work recording model used by Nawawi is a causal representation of the situation in the nusantara, especially with regard to the practice of imperialism towards the indigenous people.

Data analysis was carried out, namely examining all data, reducing data, presenting data, and concluding existing data.

<table width="0" border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" width="604"><p>In the lontar contains a lot of education as contained in the Smara Krida Laksana lontar, the Smara Krida Laksana lontar contains knowledge about sexual intercourse etiquette, drugs, ingredients, and spells used as sexual treatment. Sex is not only known to married people but sex can also be known by teenagers as knowledge when married. So that in modern times like today teenagers are not exposed to free sex. As explained above, the contents of this lontar can be said to be unique because it talks about the treatment of sexuality. So that the research is said to be valid, the method of collecting data is used. The type of data used is qualitative data because the data obtained is in the form of sentences, not numbers. The methods used to collect data are literature, documents, and interviews. In the data analysis, data reduction, data presentation, data conclusions were used. The results of this study were in the manners and sex treatment system, it was found that the manners of sexual intercourse were good for married people and the drugs, ingredients, and spells used as treatment. The second problem formulation discusses sex education, religious education and ethics education are obtained, and the last problem formulation deals with the behavior of teenagers' sexual relations today and the relationship between Smara Krida Laksana's lontar with married people, especially teenagers today.</p><p><em> </em></p></td></tr></tbody></table>
