Abstract: Humans spend most of their time on activities. In this modern era, due to increasing competitiveness, everyone is demanded to work harder, causing an ineffective time management. The increase of activity can affect health if not accompanied with adequate rest. The increase of activity can affect physiological function that can cause stress to the body. When stress occured, sympathic nervous and adrenal gland will affect the body's immune system, one of them is lymphoid tissue. Physical activity with moderate to high intensity can cause a change of lymphocyte level in the body. Construction workers are one of the kind of high intensity physical activity. This study aimed to discover the description of lymphocyte level on construction workers. This study was conducted on August 2016 to December 2016. This study is a descriptive study with cross sectional design and the sampling technique was total sampling, 30 respondents were participating. The study result showed that lymphocyte level on 17 respondents (56,7%) was normal, 4 respondents (13,3%) had an elevated lymphocyte level and 9 respondents (30%) had a depressed lymphocyte level. Conclusion: This study result that most of the respondents had a normal lymphocyte level. Keywords: lymphocyte level, construction worker, physical activity. Simpulan: Sebagian besar responden memiliki kadar limfosit normal. Kata kunci: kadar limfosit, pekerja bangunan, aktivitas fisik.

Abstract Objective Carbohydrates, proteins, and fats are energy sources needed by the body for performing daily activities and generating primary energy substances. In women who have undergone menopause, the function of thyroid hormone in their body begins to decline and thus affects the ability of the body to produce energy. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the intakes of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats and random blood sugar levels in menopausal women. Methods This study was a correlational analytical research with a cross-sectional design, which was conducted in 72 menopausal women recruited by the purposive sampling technique. In this study, a 24-hour food recall form was used, and randomized blood sugar levels were measured using a glucometer. The analysis of the data was performed using a Pearson product moment and multiple linear regression. Results Carbohydrates and fats together affected random blood sugar levels with an F-value of 25.810 and a p-value of 0.000. Meanwhile, adjusted R2 showed the value of 0.411, indicating that the difference in the intake of carbohydrates and fats together affected random blood sugar levels by 41.1%. Conclusions Intake of carbohydrates and fats affected random blood sugar levels, whereas the rest were influenced by other factors, and protein intake was unrelated to random blood sugar levels in menopausal women.

Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) play a crucial part in a country’s economic growth and sustainable development. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between innovation and the performance of SMEs. An external environmental factor acts as a moderating variable between the exogenous and endogenous variables. Data were collected from 350 textile SMEs operating in Pakistan using a cross-sectional study design through self-administered questionnaires. Of these, only 335 surveys were valid for further analysis. The structural equational modeling technique was used for analyzing the data and testing the hypotheses that innovation and the external environment affect an SME’s performance. The results indicate a significant association between innovation and SME performance, and the external environment has a moderating impact on innovation and SME performance. This paper offers valuable recommendations to senior managers and owners of SMEs to consider the innovation and external environment as crucial factors when assessing their SME’s performance. This study contributes towards the body of knowledge on this subject and can help practitioners and researchers explore the effects of innovation and the external environment on the performance of SMEs.
