Ibn Sina’s theory of the soul possesses a logical-metaphysical categorisation of that concept, which allows for the designing of a new taxonomy of educational objectives. Its unique alteration of Aristotelian philosophy creates both an understanding of the natural relationship between categories, species, varieties, etc., and powerful inventive philosophical arguments and principles supporting the structural basis of monotheistic belief (tawhid). When speaking of the goals and objectives of the contemporary Islamic educational world, this approach also embraces the demands of the twenty-first century knowledge economy and the holistic development of the human being, enabling people to become critical, creative, innovative, and ethical without leaving religion behind. However, the new scene has created volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity among educators as to how to liaise the new curriculum and apply new assessment methods in their classrooms. This study intends to develop a taxonomy that will enable curriculum designers and Islamic educators to easily identify hierarchal and categorical human faculties and relate them to specific curricular objectives, proper classroom assessments, and suitable teaching methods. The taxonomy is designed using a philosophical-descriptive analysis of Ibn Sina’s theory of the soul and a logic-argumentative description of his human categorisation. The end result is a prototype taxonomy for future validity evaluation.

This paper aims to map the reality of the concept of humanism education in the context of Islamic education. Education is one of the most essential keys in human life. In general, education aims to help humans to get the existence of humanity as a whole. Education also aims to make people better in life. Currently education has not been able to achieve the goals and objectives of education itself are humanizing human beings by optimizing all the potential that exists in human beings. On the contrary the education that occurs today only creates a human being a robot or machine that can be controlled. Education as a process of human humanization (humanization) comes from the idea of humanism. This is in line with the basic meaning of humanism as human education. The system of education in Islam built on the basis of humanistic values since its inception appears in accord with its essence as a humanity religion. Islam makes human dimension as the orientation of education. The insight of humanism in education carries the principle of empowering each human being as a free individual to develop its potential. That means education is held to manage and develop the human self in order to become a whole human according to human nature.

Despite the fact that the Brazilian Constitution is against animal violence, protecting
the fauna integrity, actually it does not work. However, our law system allows cruel acts and
accepts the violence done by those who consider themselves rational and superior. Just watch
the evil reality at the streets, public shows (circus) and farms, where the animals suffer and
are exploited to their limits. Also watch the pain of the animals that are part of an industrial
production, the horror at the slaughter houses and the scientific experiments laboratories. It
means that we have a contradiction.
Blind and cold, we live in a world that lacks justice. The cycle of the human life is limited
to personal ambitions, selfish actions and superfluous pleasures. There’s no space to
compassion. Under this anthropocentric view, the nature of the animals is no more important
and becomes economic or environmental resources. Our system, by rejecting the essence of
each living being, defends the fauna only for the purpose the human interests. The animals
are treated like merchandise, resources or consumption goods and the law denies them the
right to be sensitive. It must be changed, there can be no more silent before so much oppression.
For many centuries the human being has been dominating, torturing, killing and exterminating
other species, because of economic, commercial, cultural and gastronomic interests or just
sadism. The history shows that our relationship with the animals is marked by fanatism,
supersticions, ignorance and indifference. It’s a Ministério Público function, as a social
transforming agent, to fight against this situation. We must admit the animals presence in
the sphere of the human moralities, allowing them to have rights. The question is not only of
the law, but philosophic. It’s primordial that we review our teaching methods, searching for
a formula to respect the essence of animal life no matter what it is. Without a doubt, this
way is far from the anthropocentrism.

The method applied in this research was qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The data were collected from interview and observation with the owner of Kampung Inggris Pontianak, West Kalimantan. It was found that English speaking skill to elementary school students was separated into four levels; basic, intermediate 1, intermediate 2, and advanced. There are five methods applied by Kampung Inggris Pontianak to improve students English speaking skill. Flashcards, watching movies, listening, games, and singing. There were two kinds of obstacles that tutors face during the class. First, most of the tutors’ backgrounds were non-educational. So, they found it hard, sometimes, to control their elementary students who are very energetic. They might have English language competence. However, it is not adequate as their only competence to teach students compared to tutors with English educational background. Therefore, Kampung Inggris Pontianak holds micro-teaching practices to see tutor candidate performances before coming into class. Second, new students made many false answers on the placement test just to make them get into a lower level class than they are supposed to be. The researcher hopes this research will give knowledge to the reader of how tutors in Kampung Inggris Pontianak teaches speaking skills to their students.
