This article aims to find out about Islamic education and the challenges in its implementation in Jayapura City. The method of data collection was carried out by interviews, observation and FGD (Focus Group Discussion). The data which has been classified are made narrative by giving an interpretation and data display. The results of this study found that religious education in non Muslim majority areas like Jayapura is facing serious  challenges. Besides  it demanded to give contribution, Islamic education must be able to adapt with others religious group. For Muslims internal it becomes something that should be implemented, they should performance activities that also respect to other religions and also expected to give contribution in actualizing human being who are able to compete in global world but also still on the values of submission to Allah SWT. For that reason, Islamic education in Jayapura must be adapt with the religious life conditions where it can create a harmony and peaceful life of people and Islamic education are also required to arrange the fundamental change steps and seek innovative alternative education models.

<p align="center">Abstrak</p><p>Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pendidikan Islam di Mesir dan Malaysia di era globalisasi dalam kajian  psikologi positif.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif mengkaji literatur dengan cara  mereview sumber bacaan buku dan jurnal.  Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis penelitian ini menggunakan pola berpikir deduktif induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa seiring dengan tantangan zaman di era globalisasi Negara yang mayoritas muslim di Mesir melaksanakan pendidikan di Negaranya dengan menganut sistem pendidikan sekuler dan sistem Islam. Begitu juga di Malaysia yang memiliki warga Negara multi ras, multi budaya dan multi agama menganut sistem pendidikan tradisional dan pendidikan modern. Kedua Negara tersebut dalam  melaksanakan  pendidikan Islam dilaksanakan  dengan baik. Sebagai penyelenggara pemerintahan baik di Mesir maupun di Malaysia yang mampu melaksanakan pendidikan Islam yang baik, berarti pelaku orang tersebut dalam kajian psikologi positif merupakan orang-orang yang memiliki kepribadian positif dan berpikir positif dalam perspektif psikologi positif. </p><p> </p><p align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>This research was done</em><em> to investigate the implementation of Islamic education in Egypt and Malaysia in the globalization era in the study of positive psychology. This study is a qualitative study reviewing the literature by way of reviewing the source of reading books and journals. The method used to analyze this study using inductive deductive thinking patterns. The results showed that along with the challenges of the age of globalization muslim-majority state in Egypt carry out education in the country by embracing the secular education system and the Islamic system. So also in Malaysia that has a multi-racial citizens, multi-cultural and multi-religious education system adheres to both traditional and modern education. The two countries in implementing Islamic education properly implemented. As organizers of governance both in Egypt and in Malaysia, capable of performing a good Islamic education, meaning that the actors in the study of positive psychology are people who have a positive personality and positive thinking in the perspective of positive psychology.</em></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p>

This study aims to determine how the improvement of learning achievement of students in class X.9 SMAN Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung city on learning Islamic Education (PAI) through the implementation of Small Group Discussion method. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was done in three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the study showed an increase in learning achievement of learners. In the first cycle the average value obtained by learners of 62.65 with a percentage of mastery of 23.53%. On the second cycle there was an average increase of 72.94 with the percentage of mastery of 64.71%. Furthermore, in the third cycle the average value of student learning achievement again increased to 79.71 with a percentage of completeness of 91.18%. Based on this, it can be concluded that the implementation of Small Group Discussion method has an impact on the improvement of learning achievement of high school X students in Islamic Religious Education subjects.Kata kunci : Small Group Discussion, Achievement

AbstractChildren with disabilities have the same rights in terms of education, both general and Islamic religious education. The present study aimed to investigate the main learning problems of Islamic education subject for students with disabilities. This study was conducted at SMA LB of Rejang Lebong. This study applied a descriptive qualitative approach. The Islamic education teacher at this school was engaged as the subject. The data were collected using interview and observation techniques. The data were further analyzed using an interactive model whose elements included data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. This study revealed that there were three main problems in Islamic education learning found at SMA LB of Rejang Lebong. These problems included a lack of teaching staffs (teachers), lack of parental supports, and lack of training provisions for the Islamic education teacher in an effort to help the teacher provide ideal teaching and learning processes for students with special needs. The findings of this study call for immediate solutions to be offered, especially by the school per se and Rejang Lebong’s local government.Keywords: Problems; Islamic education learning; Students with disabilities Abstrak Anak penyandang disabilitas memiliki hak yang sama dalam hal pendidikan, baik pendidikan umum maupun pendidikan agama Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui permasalahan pokok pembelajaran pendidikan Islam bagi siswa disabilitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA LB Rejang Lebong. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Guru mate pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di sekolah ini dilibatkan sebagai subjek penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Selanjutnya, analisis data menggunakan model interaktif yang elemen-elemennya meliputi pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat tiga masalah pokok dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di SMA LB Rejang Lebong. Permasalahan tersebut antara lain adalah kurangnya tenaga pengajar (guru), kurangnya dukungan orang tua, dan kurangnya bekal pelatihan bagi guru pendidikan Islam dalam upaya membantu guru untuk memberikan proses belajar mengajar yang ideal bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Temuan studi ini mengundang agar segea ada solusi yang ditawarkan terutama dari sekolah itu sendiri dan pemerintah daerah Rejang Lebong.Kata Kunci: Masalah, Pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam; Siswa disabilitas

This study explains the position of Pancasila Education and Islamic Religious Education in the context of religious life. There are several forms of the dynamics of religious life such as conflicts that usually occur in students, especially in various Indonesian educational institutions. Conflicts that often occur in schools are disputes between students, power struggles, small problems that are often brought up and teenage love problems. This phase students have begun to recognize feelings of love between the opposite sex. The results show that the position of Pancasila education and Islamic Religious Education is very strategic and occupies. The forefront because they are the mainstream in counteracting negative things for religious life. So, they play an active role in overcoming various violence and conflicts that occur in educational institutions. Thus, Pancasila education and Islamic Education make efforts to guide future generations of future candidates so that they can have a good personality and are certainly. In accordance with the norms of set by Islam itself through a strong religious understanding so that there are no conflicts between them.

Abstract The purpose of writing this article is as a reflection material for the character of Indonesian education in the midst of diversity and cultural diversity. The reality of multi-religious life, language, culture, and ethnicity requires transformation in the field of education. Conventional education patterns that are oriented towards strengthening science should begin to build awareness that teaching diversity to students is important. Multicultural education as a process in shaping the mindset of students in order to have a high social life and mutual respect for each other, in the implementation of multicultural education is very parallel and relevant if collaborated with Islamic religious education values. Keywords multicultural education, relevance, islamic education   Abstrak Tujuan Penulisan artikel ini adalah sebagai bahan refleksi bagi karakter pendidikan masyarakat Indonesia di tengah kemajemukan dan keragaman budaya. Realitas kehidupan multiagama, bahasa, kultur, dan etnis membutuhkan transformasi dalam bidang pendidikan. Pola-pola pendidikan konvensional yang berorientasi pada penguatan ilmu pengetahuan seyogyanya mulai terbangun kesadaran bahwa mengajarkan keragaman pada anak didik adalah penting. Pendidikan multikultural sebagai sebuah proses dalam membentuk pola pikir anak didik agar memiliki jiwa sosial yang tinggi dan saling menghormati pada sesamanya, dalam implementasinya pendidikan multikultural sangat sejajar dan relevan jika dikolaborasikan dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan agama Islam. The article deals with the process of development of Islamic education in the Republic of Bashkortostan since the renaissance of religious life in the post-Soviet period. Conceptual changes in the system of religious education, which take place under the infl uence of modern trends and social challenges, are analyzed on the example of a particular region. The author points out the results of transformations in the sphere of Islamic education in Bashkortostan. Russia has a state program for the development of Islamic education, the main goal of which is the development and strengthening of the national system of Islamic education, which can reduce the number of people wishing to study in foreign Islamic centers. All levels of Muslim education are represented in Bashkortostan now. However, the process of creating and implementing a unifi ed concept of Islamic education in the republic, as well as in the country as a whole, is not yet completed.

Schools always innovate in carrying out programs that are carried out through daily religious activities at school so that students do not feel bored and bored in the learning process or activities in the school. These religious activities are packaged in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons. however it is still ignored by students. The purpose of this paper is to describe the strategy of delivering religion in Islamic Education subjects, developing the potential of students, and the importance of holistic education. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected by in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis used interactive analysis through data reduction, data display, verification and conclusion stages. Furthermore, the results of the research show that holistic religious-based education in Islamic Education which is applied at SMP IT BINA UMMAH SUMBER includes 1) Implementation of religious-based holistic education in Islamic Education lessons; and 2) to determine the factors inhibiting and encouraging religious-based holistic education in Islamic Education lessons. It can be concluded that holistic religion-based education is education that develops all the potential that exists in students. The results of this study are expected to develop all the potential to be realized as character building in students. Abstrak   Sekolah selalu berinovasi dalam melakukan program-program yang dijalankan melaui kegiatan keagamaan pada keseharian di sekolah sehingga peserta didik tidak merasa bosan dan jenuh dalam proses belajar maupun kegiatan yang ada di sekolah kegiatan keagamaan tersebut dikemas pada pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) akan tetapi masih diabaikan pada peserta  didik. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan strategi penyampaian keagamaan pada mata pelajaran PAI, pengembangan potensi peserta didik, dan Urgensi pendidikan holistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif melalui tahap reduksi data, display data, verifikasi dan kesimpulan. Selanjutnya, hasil dari penelitian menujukkan bahwa pendidikan holistik berbasis keagamaan pada pelajaran PAI yang diterapkan di SMP IT BINA UMMAH SUMBER meliputi 1) Implementasi pendidikan holistik berbasis keagamaan pada pelajaran PAI; dan 2) untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor  penghambat dan pendorong pendidikan holistik berbasis keagamaan pada pelajaran PAI. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan holistik berbasis keagamaan adalah pendidikan yang mengembangkan seluruh potensi yang ada pada peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dalam mengembangkan seluruh potensi diwujudkan sebagai pembentukan karakter pada peserta didik.

Religious education plays an important role in Indonesia, not only in religious schools but also in all schools and in community development. A number of studies show that Indonesian religious education currently faces challenges in managing the problem of religious radicalism, especially in the context of a conservative society. This research focuses on various religious problems in the community that teachers often encounter during their interactions in schools and communities, with specific reference to Islamic education. This research was conducted using the Focus Group Discussion method which involved 28 religious education teachers from DKI Jakarta, Banten, and West Java. This research explores recurring religious issues in Indonesian society that require further attention in developing religious education programs. Looking at it from the perspective of religious literacy, this study found that multiculturalism, tolerance, and prejudice are the most recurring problems in society. Recognizing the growing challenges to Indonesia's plural society, religious literacy can be used as an alternative destination for religious education. Religious education must be directed towards students’ correct understanding of various religious beliefs and traditions, in addition to strengthening the faith and practice of students' own religious beliefs.

Abstrac This research is a descriptive qualitative research, which seeks to describe or describe objects clearly and systematically without any engineering or manipulation and non-experimentation. This type of research is field research, using a qualitative approach that emphasizes the analysis of the deductive- inductive inference process as well as an analysis of the dynamics of the relationship between the observed phenomena using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis process is carried out through the process of data collection, reduction, data display, and Conclusion drawing / verification. The results showed that the 2013 Curriculum for Islamic Religious Education and Character has been implemented, but not maximally in SD Negeri Batursari 6, Mranggen District, Demak Regency, both in terms of learning planning, learning implementation and learning assessment. This is due to the lack of readiness of teachers in implementing the 2013 Curriculum due to delays in socialization and training for the 2013 Curriculum. Keywords: 2013 Curriculum, Islamic Education, Character Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif, yang berusaha menggambarkan atau mendeskripsikan objek secara jelas dan sistematis tanpa ada rekayasa dan manipulasi serta non-eksperimen. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research), dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang lebih menekankan analisis pada proses penyimpulan deduktif-induktif serta analisis terhadap dinamika hubungan antara fenomena yang diamati dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan proses analisis data dilakukan melalui proses pengumpulan data, reduction, data display, dan Conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kurikulum 2013 Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti sudah diimplementasikan, namun belum maksimal di SD Negeri Batursari 6 Kecamatan Mranggen Kabupaten Demak, baik dari segi perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran maupun penilaian pembelajaran. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya kesiapan guru dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013 akibat keterlambatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan Kurikulum 2013. Abstract. The existence of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia has a big influence on the surrounding community. In terms of religious education, influence is not questionable. This is due to the establishment of Islamic boarding schools from the very beginning to educate and disseminate Islamic teachings to the community through recitation, both traditional and modern. The development of Islamic boarding school education in Indonesia is a manifestation of the community's need for an alternative and superior education system. This paper uses the Quantitative method with a field study at the Pondok Karya Permbangunan (PKP) boarding school, with the aim of getting more accurate data about the behavior of the religious life of the santri in the Manado Development Boarding School (PKP), to reveal the factors that influence the behavior of the religious life of the santri at the Manado Development Boarding School (PKP), to find strategies and efforts to resolve the obstacles faced in the behavior of religious life in the Manado Development Boarding School (PKP). Revitalizing Pesantren Spirit Ideas, Gait, and Reflection, by Muhammad M. Basyuni, generally divides into 3 (three) parts, namely in the first part explaining generally about Islamic education as a guardian to build national morals which are arranged in the second chapter concerning inner boarding schools. building a smart, religious and cultured generation and in the third chapter describes the centers of excellence, knitting traditions that are beginning to fade. Because it is very important to know for those who have concern for the presence of Islamic boarding schools, however, this research concerns the religious behavior of students specifically in Manado PKP. Keywords: Religious Behavior, Santri, Pondok Karya Pembangunan. Abstrak. Keberadaan pesantren di Indonesia berpengaruh besar terhadap masyarakat disekitarnya. Dalam hal pendidikan agama, pengaruh tidak perlu dipertanyakan lagi. Hal ini disebabkan dari sejak awal berdirinya pesantren disiapkan untuk mendidik dan menyebarkan ajaran-ajaran Islam kepada masyarakat melalui pengajian, baik dengan sistem tradisional maupun modern.1 Perkembangan pendidikan pondok pesantren di Indonesia merupakan perwujudan dari kebutuhan masyarakat akan suatu sistem pendidikan alternatif dan unggul. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode Kuantitatif dengan study lapangan di pesantren Pondok Karya Permbangunan (PKP) Manado, dengan tujuan Untuk mendapatkan data yang lebih akurat mengenai perilaku kehidupan keagamaan santri yang ada di pondok Pesantren Karya Pembangunan (PKP) Manado, Untuk mengungkapkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku kehidupan keagamaan santri di pondok Pesantren Karya Pembangunan (PKP) Manado, Untuk menemukan strategi dan upaya penyelesaian terhadap kendala yang dihadapi dalam perilakukehidupan keagamaan di pondok Pesantren Karya Pembangunan (PKP) Manado. Revitalisasi Spirit Pesantren Gagasan, Kiprah, dan Refleksi, oleh Muhammad M. Basyuni, secara umum membagi ke dalam 3 (tiga) bagian, yakni pada bagian pertama menjelaskan secara umum tentang pendidikan Islam sebagai garda membangun moral bangsa yang dirangkai pada bab kedua menyangkut pesantren dalam membangun generasi cerdas, religius, dan berbudaya serta pada bab ketiga menguraikan pusat-pusat keunggulan, merajut tradisi yang mulai memudar. Karena itu sangat penting diketahui bagi yang memiliki kepedulian terhadap kehadiran pesantren, namun demikian penelitian ini menyangkut tentang perilaku keagamaan santri khusus di PKP Manado.
