This article is dedicated to examination of the important professional competencies of aerospace engineers and specificity of their professional activity. The study represents an expert assessment of the activity and important professional competencies of aerospace engineers. The research program consisted of several stages. The first stage includes the formation of the relevant expert group and assessment of the characteristics of activity and important professional competencies based on the methodology of expert assessment of I. L. Solomin. The second stage implies the expert ranking of the important psychological characteristics in the activity of aerospace, and determination of psychological factors that affect the solution of professional tasks. Based on the acquired results, the author reveals the socioeconomic, industrial-technical, and psychological characteristics of the activity of aerospace engineers. The most important professional competencies of aerospace engineers include: attention span, ability to predict, psychic stability, memory, imagination, and distress tolerance. The effective solution of professional tasks by aerospace engineers requires psychological resilience to external influences, ability to maintain attention control, etc. The acquired data can be valuable in assessment of the important professional competencies of young specialists, as well as carrying out a set of measures aimed at developing attention span, ability to predict, and psychic stability.

The relevance of the article is due to significant transformations of various aspects of public life that affect the professional values of the economist’s personality. This defines the tasks of modernizing higher economic education, including finding new approaches to its axiologization, which requires determining the system of professional values of the personality of a modern economist. The author emphasizes the lack of development of the problem of the formation of professional values of the personality of future economists due to the prevailing approaches of researchers to the study of vocational and value orientations, professional orientation and professional self-determination of these specialists. An author’s understanding of the essence of professional values of the personality of a modern economist has been proposed. A theoretical analysis of the approaches of domestic scientists to determining the professional values of the personality of an economist was carried out, which made it possible to form an initial list of values reflecting the general characteristics of different areas of economic activity. Using the method of expert assessment, a generalized system of professional values of the modern economist was formed, such as the interaction of socio-professional, vocational-group and personal-professional values. The methods of mathematical statistics revealed the reliability of the results and the possibility of using them in the study. By the method of expert ranking, the hierarchy of professional values of the personality of the modern economist for each of the groups is determined. This should be considered as the basis for determining the pedagogical conditions for the effective formation of the professional values of the personality of future economists in the process of their professional training.

The article considers the problem of studying the determinants of the types of responsible behavior of young people. It is assumed that there are similarities and differences in the determination of the types of responsible behavior of the youth. The study involved 70 students (average age – 22 years old, SD = 2.19; men – 12%). We used the standardized methods "Questionnaire for the diagnosis of the personal symptom complex of responsibility" (Kocharyan I.A.), "Methods for the study of self-attitude" (Panteleev S.R.), the questionnaire "Determining the level of self-esteem" (Kovalev S.V.), "Social Desirability Scale" (D. Crown, D. Marlowe). We established that the most pronounced types of social behavior of youth are "ethics" and "self-sacrifice". It is shown that the severity of the type of social responsibility is determined by various combinations of psychological characteristics. The most complex regression equation characterizes the type of responsible behavior “Normalizations”. The least pronounced prediction of responsible behavior was revealed in relation to its types: "Fidelity to principle" and "Self-confidence". The results of this study can be useful for further study of the problems of social responsibility, as well as for the development of programs for the formation of youth's social responsibility in educational organizations.

The article studies the psychophysiological features of drivers and their impact on road safety. The levels of psychophysiological “danger” and psychological characteristics of drivers are studied based on the analysis of their professional activity. The individual psychological features of drivers caused by disorders of mental regulation of their behavior are determined. The authors propose to improve the system of psychological training of drivers, taking into account the factors of “dangerous driving”.

Представлены результаты исследования, затронувшего актуальную проблему системы профессионального юридического образования, – степень соответствия специалиста требованиям рынка труда, а также повышение качества их практической подготовки. Научно обоснована эффективность применения практико-ориентированных технологий в образовательном процессе колледжа с целью успешной адаптации будущих юристов в профессиональной деятельности. В качестве основного метода исследования выступил педагогический эксперимент, целью которого стала апробация практико-ориентированных технологий в процессе обучения. В исследовании использованы методы анализа и обобщения, опрос, тестирование, педагогическое наблюдение и методы математической статистики. Представленные практико-ориентированные технологии направлены на овладение обучающимися профессиональных компетенций и предусматривают поэтапное прохождение студентом трех модулей: целеполагание дидактических циклов, отбор оптимальных средств с учетом особенностей этапа обучения, реализация образовательной деятельности, характеризуемой интеграцией проектной и проблемной технологий при соблюдении условия дифференцированного обучения. Введение в образовательный процесс практико-ориентированных технологий обучения студентов колледжа – будущих юристов, предусматривающих поэтапное освоение знаний и умений, позволяет на достоверном уровне сформировать основные профессиональные компетенции у обучающихся с целью их успешной адаптации в будущей профессии юриста. Применение в процессе обучения деятельностных и интерактивных методов, введение имитационного моделирования и проектирования, а также технологии решения ситуационных задач можно рассматривать в качестве эффективного инструмента формирования у студентов профессионально-ориентированных умений и навыков. The article presents the results of the study that touched upon the actual problem of the system of professional legal education – the degree of specialist’s compliance with the requirements of the labor market as well as the improvement of the quality of their practical training. The aim of the study is to scientifically substantiate the effectiveness of practiceoriented technologies in the educational process of the college in order to successfully adapt future lawyers in professional activities. The main method of research is a pedagogical experiment, the purpose of which is approbation of the developed author’s methodology. Also, the study used methods of analysis and generalization, questioning, testing, pedagogical observation and methods of mathematical statistics. The presented practice-oriented technologies are aimed at mastering students’ professional competencies and provide for the gradual passage of three modules by the student: goal-setting of didactic cycles, selection of optimal means taking into account peculiarities of the training stage, implementation of educational activity characterized by integration of project and problem-based technologies while observing conditions of differentiated training. According to the results obtained during the implementation of the pedagogical experiment, the introduction of practice-oriented technologies in the educational process of training college students of future lawyers, providing for the gradual development of knowledge and skills, allowed to form the basic professional competencies of students at a reliable level. Thus, the use of activity and interactive methods in the learning process, the introduction of simulation modeling and design, as well as technology for solving situational tasks can be considered as an effective tool for shaping students’ professional-oriented skills and abilities.

Adolescence is a sensitive period of an individual’s way of life projection through an ability of awareness its individuality and self-reflection, self-determination in social, personal, professional and other aspects of life, designing life plans and desire of conscious future’s planning. The purpose of the research is to determine psychological peculiarities of an ability to make a life choice in measuring the self-determination of the students. The self-determination of an individual is determination of the personal orientation vectors in different modes of life activity that is based on a life-sense search. The emergence of life plans in adolescence determines set for professional self-determination of youth that is involved in social production and labor activity that provides the process of “Me” ideas specification in a profession, career and professional plans. The study has been conducted at the National University of Ostroh Academy during 2019-2020. The sample was consisted of 50 respondents aged 20-25 at their 3rd-4th years of studying at different depatments and specialties. It has been diagnosed that the general level of modern youth’s ability to make own life choice is at a low level. During making important decisions, students have shown low ability to manifest independence in the process of self-determination, to resist the influence of others on this process. Due to the weakness of established life-based values, adolescents find it difficult to figure out optimal ways of their capabilities’ realization. Young people have demonstrated sufficient ability to analyze properly all aspects of the situation during making life decisions. Students have an inability of overcoming difficulties and obstacles in life, what prevent making balanced life decisions and the implementation of self-determination at the stage of choosing a profession and mastering professional activity. The inability of overcoming difficulties and obstacles fully prevents from own potential’s realization and taking opportunities, as well as making life balanced decisions, choices and perform self-determination of adolescents in general.

The article presents the results of the study of individual psychological characteristics of adaptive behavior of recruit men and women police officers. The study develops theoretical knowledge on the problems of adaptation of new members of police, expands the boundaries of the problem field; the empirical data clarify ideas about the features of adaptation of employees in the host environment depending on gender. In the course of the empirical study, depending on gender, differences in individual psychological characteristics of adaptive behavior of newly appointed employees of the low enforcement agencies bodies were revealed. This may determine the specifics of their entry into the host environment. Newly appointed policewomen employees with impaired adaptive behavior are characterized by a higher rejection of professional activity than men, unacceptable working and living conditions, a feeling of constant anxiety in the process of social interaction, but less negative attitude to life.

Background. Organizational behavior plays a significant role in the effectiveness of enterprises specializing in nanotechnology. Its negative side – counterproductive work behavior (CWB) – has not been analyzed sufficiently in this industry. We evaluated different theoretical approaches to this problem. Objective. To estimate the predominant forms of counterproductive work behavior in relation to dimensions such as the intensity of the nanotechnology industry, seniority in the organization, and the age and gender of the subjects. Design. We used a descriptive exploratory methodology that analyzes the preponderance of counterproductive work behavior in profile companies throughout the Russian Federation. CWB was assessed through a self-report questionnaire and in-depth interview with each employee. The results were analyzed by correlation-regression analysis in SPSS. Results. We found significant correlations between the variables “intensity of the nanotechnology industry within the organization”, “seniority of employees within the organization”, “age of employees”, and the total score of CWB. Regarding the CWB dimensions, the highest average of the scores was obtained for “low level of conscientiousness” (mean = 21.75; SD = 2.9), followed closely by “low level of personal development” (mean = 20.53; SD = 3.09). Among the CWB dimensions, it seems that the conscientiousness of the employees plays a key role in the continuation of their professional activity and consequently in the increase of seniority in the organization. Conclusion. A professional difficulty can be perceived as a challenge by an employee with good physical and/or psychological resilience. Russian nanotechnology companies should evaluate their approach to dealing with employees and mitigate situations that might be unnecessarily stressful. From the data obtained through the semi-structured interview, we found that what happens in a work group is essential in the emergence of CWB. Organizations need clear policies that empower employees to deal with certain work tasks and with employees who engage in specific CWB.

Professional activity, which includes an extreme component at the content level, is a special type of activity with the presentation of increased physical, psychological and psychophysiological requirements for a person, the consideration of which contributes to the successful performance of service and work tasks and the prevention of psychosomatic, psychovegetative and pathological organizational changes of the subject. The purpose of the study is to identify the psychological characteristics of the subjects of extreme activity, depending on the length of service and work experience. To achieve the goal of the study, we studied 508 male respondents whose professional activity contained an extreme component (military air traffic controllers, ground-based and deck-based transport and fighter pilots, surface sailors, submariners, firefighters, specialists engaged in the disposal of spent nuclear fuel, participants in combat operations). As a result of the study, it was found that with an increase in the length of service and work experience, interpersonal relationships are transformed in specialists of extreme profile, personality qualities and characterological features change. Professional resiliency does not change in the course of official and labor activity
