Tai Ji Quan (TJQ) is generally viewed as an effective means of achieving the spiritual unity of the body. This article aims to discuss how TJQ as a mindfulness-based practice can be innovatively applied to contemporary performer training, especially in the form of improvisation. This unique way of movement training is based on the motion principle of TJQ: consciousness guiding the qi, the qi guiding the body, then the body forming the shape. Practitioners are expected to improvise with being aware of qi, and are therefore able to stimulate spontaneity in improvisation, and to achieve the moment of integration of the body and mind: doing and being.

The need to rise to a higher level of knowledge of the world in relationships and mutual understanding of people is the requirement of time. It is important through the tolerant consciousness to find bonding paths leading to spiritual unity with all people of the planet. The technique creates convenience, but also lead to the crisis of human relations. The article devoted to questions of musical and poetic synthesis raises the issue of the relationship between the composer and the poet in its special interpretation, defined as spiritual “affinity”. In Elena Gokhman’s song cycle “Insomnia” analyzed from this position, a whole range of points of contact between the artistic worlds of the poet and the composer opens up to the poems of Marina Tsvetaeva. The analysis of the musical-poetic text at the pre-musical and musical levels of its organization, in the unity of syntagmatic and paradigmatic structures, which unfold, on the one hand, as a psychological “drama of the gap”, on the other — as a metaphorical discourse in the space of the title image of the cycle, allowed us to reveal in Elena Gokhman’s “Insomnia” a hidden intertextual plan, also dating back to the work of Marina Tsvetaeva, revealing the closest contact between the creative natures of the poet and the composer. At the same time, spiritual “affinity” as it is considered reveals “flaws” of incompatibility of creative consciousnesses, which, in accordance with the etymology of the Old Slavic “co-kinship”, allows us to see the dialogue between the poet and the composer in the dynamics of rapprochements and divergences — not only moments of striking spiritual unity of artists belonging to different cultural eras, but also differences that determine the exclusive spiritual appearance of the work born in dialogue with the poet.

The article is devoted to the study of the tragic value spectrum of F. Dostoevsky’s works. In the analysis of the critical works of V. Ivanov and L. Shestov identify the constants of the tragic architectonics proposed by these researchers. The conclusion is made about the semantic multidirectionality of the tragic assessments in the reading of F. Dostoevsky. In Ivanov’s interpretation, the hero perceives the lost harmony of spiritual unity as a value and seeks to restore it. In Shestov’s philosophy, the pathos of tragedy consists in the voluntary heroic rejection of harmonious ideals by the individual. In both cases, the tragic, as an architectonic value, acquires specific semantic overtones of 20th century art.

The article is devoted to the linguocultural explaining of the concept "mentality". The object of research is the concept of "mentality", which is used in modern linguistics in two semantic aspects: first, when talking about ethnic or social conditioning of our mind and, secondly, when they try to justify the origins of the spiritual unity and integrity of the people. The mental symptoms of the national consciousness are objectified in language, and in this regard the following categories of cognitive semantics are in demand in the linguistics of language in their synergistic and cognitive understanding: the value and meaning, the inner form of nominative units of language, means of secondary and indirect derivative nomination, cultural connotations etc. The author's aim is to explain the concept of linguocultural mentality. The author concludes that the mentality can be described as a synergistic perception of the world through the prism of the interaction of the language, consciousness and culture; linguoculture is a way of expressing ethnic mentality as a special vision of the world in concrete chronotopic terms of artistic and creative life of a people.

The importance of identifying spiritual foundations of interaction between a family and a school in the reality of value-based pluralism in contemporary society is explained. The growing demand on education among parents to provide proper upbringing is emphasized, as well as their desire to communicate with the teachers. The research is based on the existential approach that makes it possible to describe interaction between a family and a school in the unity of their co-existence. The research results revealed the following spiritual existential units of interaction between a family and a school: love, freedom and responsibility and spiritual unity and cooperation. Interaction between a family and a school may be treated as a social unity based on love, the goal of which is to develop communicative skills and individual features necessary in social interaction. Such interaction requires understanding of the value of freedom and responsibility in continuous education by both parents and teachers. It will stimulate self-cognition, self-development and self-identification that contribute to the skills of independent choice and form the ability to bear responsibility for the choice. The relations between a family and a school are characterized by spiritual unity, in other words it is an inner link based on the feelings of love, respect and solidarity. A school in this case provides a “meeting” between adults and children that allows revealing the values and spirit of different generations. The following conclusion about interaction between a family and a school is made: it is a creative process of finding the meaning of teaching by both pedagogues and parents, where the modus of their co-existence is based on responsibility for the crucial period in children’s lives and for the process and result of their personalities shaping. Relations between teachers and parents are based on the role of common values: love in the form of acceptance of the child and his/her unique features, his/ her importance and individuality developed during social communication; freedom and responsibility via comprehension of educational situation, and spiritual unity and cooperation as togetherness based on similarity of fate, unselfishness and universality of “the good” as regulators of interaction.

Trying to reconcile the continuity of being with the discreteness of consciousness, modern seekers for the truth appeal to the Eastern mystical traditions based on the idea of the unity of all things and singularity of the world. In terms of analytical psychology, to overcome the human alienation from the world and from themselves is to return to his/her Self. C.G. Jung considered the reintegration of a personality to be a prerequisite for solving the spiritual, social, ethical, and political problems humanity is facing now. This process is the basis for the integrity of the psyche. Successful reintegration requires centering, that is, unification with everything that exists into one organic whole. Observing his patients, the psychoanalyst concluded that the idea of centering was archetypal to the spiritual pole of the unconscious. His therapy was aimed at achieving the Self in the process of individuation, i.e., the reintegration of the instinctive and spiritual poles of the psyche. The process of individuation is similar to the reintegration process in Yoga philosophy, which is symbolized by a mandala that reintegrates the perception of the world and helps us to reconcile with the total cosmic reality. According to C.G. Jung, a mandala is the universal psychic image, the symbol of the Oneness, the deep essence of the human soul. C.G. Jung believed that the achievement of the Self was a natural process embedded in the individuals. The questions posed by a great psychoanalyst push us into searching for ourselves, the golden mean in ourselves, our actions, and our views. The salvation of a modern human in the contemporary world full of conflicts is to find the way to the spiritual unity with humankind, which is the highest manifestation of the spiritual unity with the universe. This becomes possible due to a return to our Self. The paper aims at analyzing the Jungian concept of the Self in the context of oriental religious and philosophical teachings.
