The Papua issue is a criticism directed at the Indonesian government which is often raised by Pacific countries in the United Nations session, especially by the countries of Fiji, Vanuatu and also the Solomon Islands regarding their views on Papua which is part of Indonesia. Feeling a little swayed by the criticism, the Indonesian government then responded by providing foreign aid which had a motive in it, namely to reduce criticism regarding the Papua issue. Foreign aid carried out by the Indonesian government is implemented in the Triangular South-South Technical Cooperation (KSSY), where this SSTC itself will be a milestone in the strategy to reduce criticism from Fiji, Vanuatu and Solomon Islands regarding the Papua issue. The research method used in this journal is a qualitative-descriptive research method, where this method will assist the author in describing the results of this journal by better describing the mechanism and course of a foreign aid process implemented in SSTC to reduce the issue of Papua. The data to be used comes from in-depth interviews with resource persons, as well as from academic journal literature, the media, and official government data which includes books and official annual reports from the government. The results of the research obtained will explain the results of the foreign aid process that was able to reduce the Papua issue raised by Fiji, Vanuatu and Solomon Islands.

Besides, it also performs watchdog function so as to make the government responsible to the people and allow them to participate actively in the development processes. Therefore, the chapter recommends that government at all levels in Nigeria should ensure adequate participation of the people in the initiation, planning and execution of development projects and policies.

This descriptive study aims to identify and analyze the types of appraisal found in the media conference between the Indonesian government and the Australian government in 2013. Appraisal is the evaluation of available types of attitudes delivered within a discourse. There are three types of attitudes in appraisal: affect, judgment, and appreciation. Affect is a means of how individuals express their feelings in discourse. Judgment is divided into personal judgment and moral judgment. Personal judgment includes individual’s admiration or criticism, while moral judgment includes individual’s praise or condemnation. Appreciation concerns individual’s attitudes towards surrounding things. The result shows that there is no negative appraisal proposed by the representatives of both governments. Both representatives agreed to continue and restore the almost damaged bilateral relations after the surveillance scandal conducted by the Australian government to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

The number of Covid-19 cases continues to increase, including in Indonesia. One of the efforts made by the Indonesian government to prevent a pandemic is to create and implement a Covid-19 vaccination program for the community. Therefore, the government is trying to urge the public to be willing to carry out a Covid-19 vaccine. This study was conducted to the willingness of the Indonesian public to the vaccination program as an effort to prevent Covid-19. The research method used is a qualitative approach by analyzing subjectively through the literature review method from PubMed, Clinical Key, Google Scholar, and Google Engine in Indonesian or English. The results showed that most Indonesians were willing to be vaccinated. However, there are also Indonesians who refuse to be vaccinated. The reason people refuse to be vaccinated against Covid-19 may be that they have different beliefs about the Covid-19 vaccine because of limited information about the type of vaccine, the availability of the vaccine, and the safety of the vaccine itself. the conclusion is that quite a lot of Indonesian people are willing to receive vaccinations but the government still needs to provide information, knowledge, and education about vaccination programs by involving all parties, both directly and the media so that Indonesian people who refuse or receive vaccines have the same perception or views as people who are willing received the Covid-19 vaccine.

Abstract In running a business, every producer who has a work must be appreciated for his work. The form of appreciation can be done by registering his work to get intellectual property rights so that it can be protected by law. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are exclusive rights granted by a law or regulation to a person or group of people for their copyrighted works. In Indonesia IPR has not been implemented properly due to lack of socialization from the government and lack of concern from the community. This encourages the Indonesian government to be more concerned about copyright infringement. Along with the implementation process, it is undeniable that there are still many individuals who do not comply and use a work for commercial purposes. The research method used is the juridical-normative research method. For example, on January 13, 2020, Ruben Samuel Onsu sued I Am Geprek Bensu belonging to PT. There is a need for government supervision of the use of other people's copyrighted works, good coordination between the government and the community so as to minimize the opportunity to commit fraud against a work. Based on the results of the study of cases that occurred, that victims of IPR violations are protected by law based on a first to file system.  Keywords : Intellectual Property Rights, Legal Protection, Intellectual Property Rights Violation Victims
