Abstract: This proposed invention is related with multipurpose device which is intelligent id card provided to the employee will help track and trace by connecting to the respective corporate server network. This server acts as a central intelligence and provides a dashboard that will help set up and get data and insights. These constantly monitor the smart cards and transmit their position to the central system. Many important multi-tasking tasks can be performed using this smart ID card which has the ability to provide real-time location information and also automatically identify if the person is where they should be. Accidents, such as a person walking into a danger zone, can be easily reported. In the event of a fire, you can quickly find the total people count along with the latest positions. The crowding of places such as offices, shops, workplaces, bathrooms, canteens, etc. it can be reported in real-time in order to avoid any infections. The temperature measurement alone is useless if the readings are not associated with the employee and are recorded to analyses trends. The proposed ID card will keep track of the number of times the employee has washed their hands. If not, a social notification will be raised. With real-time monitoring, you can easily provide daily attendance data to HR for payroll calculation and contract work invoice review. The employee's Bluetooth tag will help track time spent within the authorized area and will sound an alarm if the person enters a danger zone, all in real-time. The employee tag will allow the employee to send an SOS signal in case of any danger or panic situation. It will not be necessary to keep an attendance register. The tag will automatically record the time of entry and exit. A body sensor attached to the ID card will detect if the card is moved away from the body and kept aside. Hence, there is no possibility of cheating. The battery inside the card would last 5 to 10 years. IP 65, therefore resistant to water and rain. No maintenance is required. The objective of this research is to identify the level of general fatigue (FG), physical fatigue (FF) and concentration/motivation (C/M) in sports coaches. Two components of grit, consistency of interest (CI) and perseverance in effort (PE), are also assessed. The possible effects of sex, age, marital status, employment contract, work dedication and grit on FG, FF and C/M in sports coaches are examined. This cross-sectional study analyses 335 sports club coaches (21.2% women, 78.8% male) with a mean age of 29.88 (SD = 9.97) years, at a significance level of p < 0.05 for all analyses. Different aspects of fatigue were determined using the Spanish translation of the Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory-20 (IMF-20). The Grit-S scale was used to measure the ability to persevere, have passion and commit. The results indicated that men scored higher in FF, C/M and PE, while women obtained higher values in FG and CI. Non-contract coaches had higher FG, CI and PE, while coaches with contracts scored higher on C/M and FF. In conclusion, coaches with higher CI had higher FG, and high levels of PE were associated with low FG levels.

Introduction: This research explored the Effects of Casualization on the Welfare of Workers using a de-identified multinational oil company in Nigeria as a representative case. Objectives: The objectives of the study were to examine the effects of casualization of workers, associated irregularity of work, and deprivation of workers’ right. Methodology: A close-ended questionnaire was used to collect primary data. Out of 150 copies of the questionnaire administered, 122 were dully filled, returned and analysed using descriptive statistics. Results & Discussion: Three hypotheses were proposed and analysed using multiple regression of ordinary least square (OLS) statistical method and tested at 0.05 level of significance for the hypotheses. The result showed that there were significant negative effects of casualization of workers for a short-term contract work, irregularity of casualization of work, and deprivation of workers right to negotiate. Conclusion: Hallmarks of casualization of labour include short term contract work; irregularity of work; and deprivation of workers’ right to negotiate adversely affects the welfare packages of workers. These practices have inherent occupational health implication on workers. Recommendations: Casualization of labour as seen in this study is a despicable model that should be discontinued. However, if it must be practiced, the human resources, industrial relations, labour union and occupational health experts in such organizations should repackage such contracts to include allowances, job security, negotiation rights, dignity, benefits and welfare clauses as in permanent full time employment.

Modern complex contracts require cooperation, solid effective governance and a hard core of clear and workable terms and conditions to make them work. In this essay I explore exactly what cooperation and governance mean through the lens of a major global survey of contract practitioners. I discuss formal and informal elements of contract management because both matter. I find that contract managers show a marked reluctance to use punitive measures, but that value is seen in escalation, negotiation, communication, and professional governance. These require constructive engagement, that the parties talk, communicate, and work together to find the cause of the problem and agree solutions. I conclude that respondents are more interested in performance than in revenge, and that the key task is about making the contract work.

This concluding chapter reviews the key findings and arguments of this book regarding private regulation. It also looks at other suggestions to reform and improve private regulation which are not canvassed extensively in this book. An important one is to reform the buyer–supplier contract to make the contract “work both ways” — that is, level the playing field so suppliers and workers can sue for buyer compliance. A second concerns institutionalizing unemployment insurance for supply chain workers. Meanwhile, a third suggestion is that global buyers reform their sourcing to source only from countries with good labor standards, or at a minimum, clearly indicate to those country's governments that they will stop sourcing if labor laws are not enforced. Ultimately, private regulation is not a panacea, and researchers have pointed to other steps that could improve working conditions in supply chains. For one thing, national governments need to do a better job enforcing existing labor laws; indeed, it was governments' failure to do so that gave rise to private regulation. Another step is regionalization — harmonizing national labor standards within regional trade blocs through arrangements similar to those employed by the European Union. Moreover, labor standards could be improved if the International Labour Organization (ILO) could be more forceful with its members with respect to adhering to ILO conventions.

AbstractIn the implementation of agreements, the principle of legal certainty often becomes an obstacle if there is a change in fundamental circumstances. In the Civil Code, these changes are terminology as force majeure. The non-natural disaster that is currently hitting the COVID-19 pandemic is one of the scope of force majeure. The spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on the construction or development sector. Basically development is an effort to create prosperity and welfare of the people. In the implementation of development, it begins with an agreement between the parties. The agreement is an agreement for contracting work. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to speculation that the work contracting agreement can be canceled on the grounds of force majeure and the contractor can file a defense to be exempted from reimbursement of costs, losses and interest. The results show that the COVID-19 pandemic situation as a non-natural national disaster cannot automatically be used as an excuse for force majeure because it must pay attention to the clauses of the agreement and the contractor needs to prove carefully and carefully. In this research, a case study was carried out on the Contract of Work Agreement between PT. Sinergi Mega Karya and PT. Nasari Indonesia. In the agreement, the COVID-19 pandemic can be used as an excuse for force majeure because it is stated in the agreement clause and the contractor is exempted from reimbursement of fees, losses and interest. Keywords: the covid-19 pandemic; force majeure; contract work agreementAbstrakPada pelaksanaan perjanjian, asas kepastian hukum sering kali menjadi kendala apabila terjadi perubahan keadaan yang fundamental.

The last decade of the 20th century saw another boom in the supply of Soviet-made civil aircraft to the countries of Africa. Hundreds of highly qualified aviation specialists from all post-Soviet states were involved in its operation and maintenance. Market relations, new for many of them, the aggressive way of doing business on the part of entrepreneurs, as well as the complicated military and political situation in some regions, have led to the formation of a certain type of business and personal relationships. Lessons learned over the thirty years of work in special economic and socio-cultural conditions are still actual. Nevertheless, this aspect of Russia-Africa relations remains one of the least studied. Analysis of the narratives of the eyewitnesses - pilots, flight engineers, translators - is still the only way to know more about some hallmarks of the African aviation market, which still has a significant shadow segment. For this study the narratives of a Russian flight engineer who has worked as a flight crew member in various African countries for more than ten years were collected. The recollections presented relate to the first organized trip to South Africa and Mozambique in 1992, and to the later period of private contract work in Angola and Rwanda, and are interesting because they trace the formation of psychological and ethnocultural aspects of business and personal contacts with the employers, local residents and co-workers.
