Objectives: Surgery is the only effective therapy for the majority of Vesico-Vaginal (V-V) fistulae. The current research assessed the effect of a planned program of pre- and postoperative physiotherapy and health education on the outcome of V-V fistula surgery. Methods: We examined the postoperative outcomes of two groups of women with V-V fistulae recruited and followed up on by two local nonprofit organizations at a hospital in Saudi Arabia on April-October 2021. The first group of women (n = 99) underwent fistula repair using conventional procedures. The second group (n = 112) had a standardized surgical technique as well as a systematic pre- and postoperative health education and physiotherapy regimen. Results: The training had a strong favorable influence on overall recovery and urine incontinence in particular. The chances of recovery after physiotherapy were 2.7 times higher for women in the physiotherapy group than for control patients, and the likelihood of postoperative stress incontinence was significantly higher for patients in the control group than for those in the physiotherapy group (P value 0.001). Conclusion: A planned program of health education and physiotherapy provided by skilled nurses and physiotherapists increases the chance of a satisfactory result after V-V fistula repair surgery.

Indonesia isa wealthycountry with resources,be theyhuman resources or naturalresources. However, even ifIndonesia is a resource-rich country, itcontinues to work to solve the problem of poverty.Unfortunately, there is no strategic solution that can alleviate poverty.Deprivationtriggersa behavioral anomaly in society, especially in disadvantaged areas. This research aims to determine the effect of community behavior on poverty alleviation in underprivileged areas. The study is based on a subtle value-moving approach to behavioral irregularities of people in disadvantaged areas. This study is included inaquantitative research with regional populations in Indonesia designated as lagging regions in 2020-2021. The sample of respondents included110 people from areas/provinces designated as lagging areas. Research instruments use data collection in the form of observations and in-depth interviews. Four hypotheses were developedto explain the influence between causal relationships through hypothesis testing and analyzed usingStructural Equation Modeling with the help of LISREL 8.8 software. The analysis results ofthis study showed that through a smooth-moving value approach, there was a significant favorable influence of behavioral anomalies onthe poverty rate. The study concluded that this movement of subtle values could be an attempt to raise awareness and change in the emergence of behavioral anomalies of people in disadvantaged areas. This study contributes to the understanding that the value of smooth-moving behavior can be an attempt to improve the emergence of societal behavioral anomalies. This ingenious solution can strengthen values, attitudes, mental and moral systems to reduce poverty in disadvantaged areas.

Fiscal decentralization is one of the strategies applied to involve both the national and local governments in environmental management. Although, this study tries to examine its effectiveness in Nigeria which has been ambiguous. Using a multiple regression method, the study examines the effect of revenue fiscal structure on CO2 emission management in Nigeria from 2007 to 2020. Controlling pollution through the fiscal system is exceedingly difficult. According to the t-statistic results, it is only the central government that has a significant favorable influence on pollution management. State and local governments have a minimal impact on CO2 emissions reduction. This outcome leads to a suggestion that resource accumulation powers should be equitable with a higher consideration to the state and local governments which have a greater burden of controlling pollution in the rural areas where majority of the citizens have their abodes. The government at all levels should guarantee that the country's environmental policies and regulations are effectively implemented in order to reduce carbon emissions and other types of environmental pollution.

Abstract The FinTech innovation of e-money products in the financial sector has not gained sufficient recognition in Nigeria’s developing country. Despite the numerous economic benefits associated with this innovation, physical cash for financial transactions is still prevalent. Banks are still experiencing some level of cash withdrawals and deposits by individuals who refuse to embrace modern technology. This study stresses the economic benefits of e-payment channels available today and statistically supports evidence to substantiate their usefulness. In this study, we use banks’ e-money products as the independent variables, while GDP is employed as a proxy for the economy. The data are collected from 2006-2019 and are analyzed with multiple regression techniques using E-views version 9 software. The result shows that all banks’ e-money products have a significant favorable influence on the economy except the POS that is yet to gain momentum. The study suggests the full implementation of the cashless policy, proper education of the populace and guidelines to check electronic fraud.

The aim of the present study is to examine whether in Hot, i.e., affectively charged contexts, or cool, i.e., affectively neutral contexts, inhibitory control capacity increases or decreases under social evaluation in adolescents and adults. In two experiments, adolescents and young adults completed two Stroop-like tasks under either a social evaluation condition or an alone condition. The social evaluation condition comprised the presence of a peer (Experiment 1) or an expert (Experiment 2) playing the role of an evaluator, while under the alone condition, the task was performed alone. In the Cool Stroop task, participants had to refrain from reading color names to identify the ink color in which the words were printed. In the Hot Stroop task, participants had to determine the emotional expression conveyed by faces from the NimStim database while ignoring the emotion word displayed beneath. The results were similar in both experiments. In adolescents, social evaluation by a peer (Experiment 1) or by an expert (Experience 2) facilitated Hot but not cool inhibitory control. In adults, social evaluation had no effect on Hot or cool inhibitory control. The present findings expand our understanding of the favorable influence of socioemotional context on Hot inhibitory control during adolescence in healthy individuals.

As the prevalence of diabetes increases progressively, research to develop new therapeutic approaches and the search for more bioactive compounds are attracting more attention. Over the past decades, studies have suggested that cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), the important intracellular second messenger, is a key regulator of metabolism and glucose homeostasis in diverse physiopathological states in multiple organs including the pancreas, liver, gut, skeletal muscle, adipose tissues, brain, and kidney. The multiple characteristics of dietary compounds and their favorable influence on diabetes pathogenesis, as well as their intersections with the cAMP signaling pathway, indicate that these compounds have a beneficial effect on the regulation of glucose homeostasis. In this review, we outline the current understanding of the diverse functions of cAMP in different organs involved in glucose homeostasis and show that a diversity of bioactive ingredients from foods activate or inhibit cAMP signaling, resulting in the improvement of the diabetic pathophysiological process. It aims to highlight the diabetes-preventative or -therapeutic potential of dietary bioactive ingredients targeting cAMP signaling.

In this article, a new manner of cogging a forging (type: shaft), consisting in the application of a two-stage process composed of preliminary shaping in convex anvils, and also principal forging in flat or shaped anvils, is presented. A new manner of forging brought about the formation of favorable conditions for achieving the maximum values of the effective strain in the central part of a forging, accompanied by a simultaneous absence of tensile stresses, which was exerting a favorable influence upon reforging the axial zone of an ingot. What was determined, was the effective geometric shapes of convex anvils; the efficiency of different technological parameters in the case of the intensity of reforging the axial zone of an ingot was analyzed as well. The investigations were complemented by means of predicting the formation of ductile fractures in the course of forging with the application of three different ductile fracture criteria. The comparison of theoretical and experimental outcomes of investigations indicates a good level of being commensurate.

This research aims to analyze the influence of workload and work environment, mediated by work-related stress, on local police officers' performance. The population of this research was police officers of the Yapen Island Regency's Local Police, Papua region. The Slovin formula was used to determine the number of samples, and as many as 169 respondents were selected using a simple random sampling technique. A five-point Likert scale questionnaire was used as a research instrument. The SPSS Statistics was used to analyze the data. The analytical method used was descriptive analysis, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, and mediation analysis using PROCESS macro by Hayes. The results showed that workload and work environment had a significant favorable influence on work-related stress. It also revealed that workload and work environment had a significant favorable influence on performance. Besides, work-related stress had a significant negative influence on performance. Work-related stress could mediate the relationship between workload and performance, while the relationship between work environment and performance could not be mediated by work-related stress. It implies that workload should be the improvement priority in designing the achievable performance target.

Hip flexion and abduction is fundamental for developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) treatment. At present, double diaper treatment has been inappropriately adopted when DDH is suspected. The aim of this study was to verify whether double diapers influence a newborn’s hip position. Here, we studied 50 children (23 female; 27 male; average age 62.33 ± 20.50 days; average birth weight 3230 ± 447 g) with type I hips according to Graf. At the same time of the ultrasound (US) examination, the following hip positions were measured using a manual protractor: (1) spontaneous position, supine on the outpatient bed without a diaper; (2) spontaneous position, with a double diaper; and (3) squatting position on the caretakers’ side. Statistical analysis was performed with a t-test to compare between (1) the spontaneous position without a diaper and with double diapers; (2) the spontaneous position with double diapers as well as the squatting position on the caretakers’ side with a diaper. The comparison between the hip position without diaper and with double diapers was statistically not significant for all measurements, i.e., right hip flexion (p < 0.33), left hip flexion (p < 0.34), and right and left hip abduction (p < 0.87). The comparison between the hip position with double diapers and on the caretakers’ side was statistically significant for all measurements, i.e., right hip flexion (p < 0.001), left hip flexion (p < 0.001) and right and left hip abduction (p < 0.001). We found that the use of double diapers did not affect hip position, while the position formed on the caretaker’s side shows favorable influence.
