The development of information technology and the advancement of the process of educational informatization have provided technical support for education and education reform. The virtual simulation teaching mode is no longer a new thing for people, and it is more and more accepted by people familiar with it. Induction and analysis of short message texts generated by students’ online learning can fully understand students, make effective adjustments to the classroom, guide teachers’ teaching practice, and optimize the classroom, thereby improving students’ learning ability, practical ability, innovation ability, and collaboration. To study the effect of virtual simulation education on improving the skills of medical students, this paper is based on video training and education of virtual reality side-cut high-simulation simulator using case analysis and literature analysis methods. It collects data from databases and builds on online education. The model was developed, and a large number of relevant pieces of literature were read and analyzed through the literature survey method. The research results show that virtual simulation teaching can effectively improve students’ technical thinking and ability. Students’ technical thinking and ability are about 30% higher than traditional teaching methods, and the cooperation consciousness between students reaches 0.8 consciousness, which can solve the contradiction between popularization and improvement. And to solve the problems of polarization and transformation of underachievers, students’ personalities can be fully displayed and developed, and education and teaching will be on the track of quality education. This shows that training videos based on virtual reality technology can play a very good role in improving students’ technical mastery.

Performing music at the highest levels involves great competitiveness. When each performance represents a major personal challenge, success is no longer solely dependent on a high level of technical mastery: the psychological aspects of the performance also have a decisive impact. The concept of flow is presented as a phenomenon associated with significant improvements in the musician’s performance and well-being. This work explores musicians’ positive experiences in performance situations and studies the factors that promote the emergence of flow during competitions. Eleven musicians, both professionals and students, were interviewed to consider ways of promoting the emergence of flow that help them to produce high-quality performances. Our analysis revealed several different factors promoting the emergence of flow: social standing, performance preparation, connection to one’s body, awareness of skills and self-confidence, intrinsic motivation, attentional focus, and transcendence. These findings enhance our understanding of the conditions influencing the emergence of flow. We consider work pathways which might facilitate the emergence of flow experiences and thus help musicians to produce high-quality performances while protecting them from the harmful effects of stress and anxiety.

1     | WHAT IS GLOBAL NEUROSURGERY? The Global Neurosurgery Committee of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies defines Global Neurosurgery as “the clinical and public health practice of neurosurgery with the primary purpose of ensuring timely, safe, and affordable neurosurgical care to all who need it”(1). The definition weaves the values of equity, social justice, and inclusivity through the fabric of the traditional characteristics that define modern neurosurgery, such as excellence, technical mastery, integrity, and compassion. The recent addition of the global health dimension and the accompanying scientific and systems approach to address the unmet neurosurgical needs in the world has galvanized our profession, stimulated academic inquiry, and inspired many who wish to enter it. One only needs to see the explosive number of publications using the terms “global neurosurgery” over the last few years as a proxy of academic interest (2) (figure 1).

AbstractThe modern idea of emancipation is linked to the goal of overcoming dependencies and domination. However, as argued in the article, negative dialectics of emancipation must also be problematized. The project of emancipation, as it was formulated in the Age of Enlightenment, was often particular and was associated with the establishment of new forms of domination. Especially the project of liberation from the constraints of nature through technical development led to the domination of nature. In view of the ecological crisis, the dark side of this project is becoming apparent today. The ecological base of human development is at risk. It is therefore necessary to pursue the idea of a reflexive emancipation, which also takes nature into account in order to enable a sustainable technology development. Emancipatory Technology Studies should therefore support an emancipatory technology policy which promotes a positive dialectical movement that overcomes the contrast between submission to nature and technical mastery of nature.

Pierre Baillot (1771–1842), an eminent French violinist and pedagogue of the early nineteenth century, offers a surprisingly modern role model to musicians in today's fast-changing world of music. First, Baillot's career foreshadows the resilience and versatility required of entrepreneurial musicians today. Baillot lived in turbulent times through the French Revolution, the Napoleonic years, and restoration of the Bourbon monarchy. His life spanned the transition from Classical to Romantic eras of music and he combined a virtuoso performance career with that of teacher, composer, concert entrepreneur, exponent of new music and violin textbook author. Second, as in the case of contemporary creative performers, Baillot sought to extend his art by experimenting with ways to extend the range and expressiveness of the violin. This essay discusses Baillot's embrace of old and new approaches to violin music and practice. Drawing on his textbook, L'Art du Violon (1834), and research literature on music-making of the era, this essay analyses three of Baillot's innovative approaches: harmonic preluding as an improvisation method, his four-string Adagio composition using an extended bowing technique, and his empirical exploration of acoustically enhanced Tartini tones. While Baillot regarded the art of harmonic preluding, for example, as a link to improvisational traditions, he also saw it as integral to creative development and to technical mastery of harmony, the latter sometimes lacking in violinists more accustomed to playing the melodic line. Even today we find Baillot's extended violin techniques surprising.

Abstract In ca. 1502, Dürer created an engraving known to history with the title The Great Fortune, which is considered one of his first artistic peaks given its technical mastery and compositional power. The piece bears witness to an important chapter of the artist’s relationship with Antiquity and with the graphic proposals of his contemporary Italian colleagues. Owing to the research that arose from the important 2012 exhibition Der frühe Dürer, this study intends to shed light on the reasons for which this artwork should be re-evaluated as an expression of the ‘new awareness’ of Nuremberg’s cultural environment of the time, so much so that it expresses this specific environment’s eager desire for self-affirmation. Dürer’s engraving became a manifesto of the translatio artis et sapientiae in the North. The various elements that constitute the original compositional idea must therefore be considered within the specific context that promoted its creation. To this end, it is also necessary to reflect upon the actual title, the name by which the artist himself referred to his work: Nemesis.

Background and Study Aim. Hammer throwing is the most complex athletic throwing discipline with rotational trajectory and strong effect of several different forces that try to disable the projected throwing trajectory. Kinematic parameters are an important segment in the analysis of athletic disciplines, including hammer throw. They are an indicator of influence and often a difference between competitors of different or the same rank of the competition. The aim of the study was to determine the spatial and temporal differences of kinematic parameters between male and female elite hammers. Material and Methods. The study was conducted on sample of 16 Daegu World Championship finalists in 2011, to analyse differences in kinematic parameters between male and female throwers hammer. To obtain the required results, t-test for small independent samples was applied. Results. The data obtained in the study were given as Mean and Standard deviation. Statistically significant differences between male and female finalists were confirmed in the rate of ejection (t=3.684; p<0.004) and the speed of the fourth turn (t=4.396; p<0.002). The male finalists achieved an average ejection velocity of 27.91m/s and the female finalists 27.17m/s, with an average turn speed of 4.67m/s (male) and 4.03m/s (female). Conclusions. The research has shown that significant differences were made between male and female finalists in Daegu in 2011. The causes of differences can be found in length of training, different training process, technical mastery, competitor experience, morphological profile, motor and anatomical structures, movement technique and biomechanical parameters, which were not taken into the research.
