Abstract Indonesia is one of the countries with an extraordinary natural wealth of plants, one of which is mushroom plants. Button mushroom is one type of mushroom that most people favour. PT. S is a company that produces button mushroom products. The company performs demand forecasting using qualitative methods to fulfil consumer demand, benefiting production, raw material, and planting planning. This research aimed to compare the result of demand forecasting for 2021 by the company and demand forecasting using the ARIMA method as quantitative forecasting. The best ARIMA model was ARIMA (1,1,1) with a p-value of 0.000 and an MSE of 1.32. The results of demand forecasting using the ARIMA method were closer to the actual data than that of by the company. The total actual sales data from January – April 2021 is 150,958 kg. The difference between the total actual sales data and demand forecasting using the qualitative method is 2,277 kg, meanwhile, the difference between the total actual sales data and demand forecasting using the ARIMA method is 596 kg.

This study explored the differences in the writings produced by both male and female students in colleges of education in Ghana with respect to syntactic complexity. The study was based on a corpus of two hundred examination essays which were collected from two hundred students in Assin Fosu, Wesley and Presbyterian colleges of education who took the English language Studies course (FDC 211) in 2018/2019 academic year. The study adopted a descriptive design, involving qualitative and quantitative methods. The analysis showed that the male students were more syntactically complex than the female students in their writings. The study established clear variations in the areas of length of production unit, sentence complexity, amount of subordination and coordination and particular structures. It has therefore upheld the difference version of gender and language theory as compared to the discursive theory. Implications and areas for further research are also discussed.

The sales activity is a very important activity for the development and sustainability of a company. The sales are closely related to the requirement of raw material. By knowing the number of sales, a company can do estimate the amount of raw material required for production. However, so far still be found as a company that has its policies to determine a requirement of raw material as impact not use a raw material control method. The research purpose to determine the amount of sugar raw material requirement based on results number of sales seasoning XYZ with Monte Carlo simulation. Based on the analysis of data processing results. It was found that the number of sales from the simulation results in 2019 was quite high compared to the sales results during 2018 where the difference in sales simulation in 2019 and real data in 2018 was 62,334 kg. In terms of sugar supply, the total requirement for sugar in 2019 is also quite high, namely 186,756 kg, or the difference in requirement between simulation results and real data is 21,818 kg. This shows that the amount of requirement is directly proportional to sales.

Background: In spite of extensive efforts on blood donation programs conducted worldwide, the availability of adequate blood supply continues to be a demanding challenge in developing countries, including Kenya. This study was conducted with the objective to assess factors influencing voluntary blood donation practices among students of private universities in Thika town, Kiambu County, Kenya. Methods: This cross-sectional study using both qualitative and quantitative methods was conducted at Mount Kenya University and Gretsa University. Multi-stage sampling was used to select 385 students from the two universities. Questionnaire was used in gathering information from students. The Pearson chi-square analysis and p value<0.05 were found statistically significant. Logistic regressions analysis was used to predict factors influencing blood donation. Results: The study found that knowledge and the time respondents received information on blood donation in university were predictive factors influencing blood donation. The study also found that 57.1% of the respondents received information on blood donation from high school. In addition, 60% of the students were identified as having no blood donation history. Respondent major reasons for not donating blood were not asked to donate (44.3%), lack of information (28.5%), and fear of needles (23.2%). Some of the donors identified negative effects of post-blood donation such as dizziness, tiredness, and feeling weak. Conclusions: The study concludes that not asking students to donate and lack of timely information on blood donation were the main reasons for low blood donation practices among students in private universities in Thika Town, Kiambu County, Kenya.

The development of resource methodology and soft computing in this paper is presented as a new direction of ontological design. The objects of air transport organizations are chosen as the applied area: a company, a social group, an individual. The existing understanding of re-sources is related to the concepts of consumption. The problem is that the category of re-sources is not identified and does not have a humanitarian study, primarily in logic, philosophy, and philology. The known classifications and types of resources are numerous, diverse, and mutually irreducible. A new understanding and logical elaboration of the "resource" category is proposed. The resource methodology offers its own bases and sources. The theoretical foundations are formed in the following content: principles, hypotheses, language, terms, conditions, and procedures. This content allows you to generate output of key definitions. Re-source design (modeling) is based on the concept of a resource model. Resource modeling can be defined as displaying object property parameters from a specified definition area to the area of indicator values. The proposed hypotheses of resource modeling consistency postulate that natural language tools: words, concepts, names, vocabulary, grammar, syntax, used in relations to describe objects, can be transformed into formal models that are suitable for subsequent calculations and automated management. Relations are displayed in the pseudo-physical logic of statements, which allows us to assign numbers to observable objects of non-numeric nature. Analogs of systemology are used to develop principles, conditions, and procedures for design and modeling. The basis of resource design is a formal resource model, on the basis of which elements are formed: complexes of contours, tuples of resources. Thus, the resource method al-lows us to assign numbers to the properties of objects in weak non-metric scales by shifting the assessment procedures to the area of strong metric scales, which establishes new combinations of applying qualitative and quantitative methods of research and development. A sample of practical resource design and modeling of objects in the subject area is presented on the example of the air transport complex.

In the development of technology today especially on the needs of information in the business world becomes very important in determining the progress of a company. Where good activity in a company or technology is very determined by the information available. In an enterprise data collection system The current running goods are still using Microsoft Excel to log out and go in goods. The current system still has many shortcomings and disadvantages such as requiring a long time to know the quantity of goods stock because the warehouse admin has to calculate directly the amount of physical stock, the occurrence of the difference The number of goods request with the expenditure of goods due to error calculation by warehouse admin, it takes a long time to make the report of raw material request and expense, causing the company's performance and quality to be Hampered. Based on the problem, it needs a reminder to help the staff admin of the stock to manage the demand and expenditure of raw materials to avoid the difference in stock raw materials.   Keywords: Inventory, Company, Reminder.

The more the number of vehicles increases, the more problems that arise, for example air pollution from running engine activities and the amount of used tire waste from the vehicle. Waste from used tires can cause various serious problems if not handled properly. Used tires are waste that is harmful to the environment. This type of waste will be difficult to decompose by decomposing bacteria, this will be very dangerous for the environment. This study aims to analyze tables and sofas by utilizing car tire waste as the main raw material and in order to fulfill the ENASE aspect so that the tables and sofas made can be said to be ergonomic. The methods used in this study include qualitative and quantitative methods. Data processing techniques in this study used a comparison test and multiple linear regression test (ANOVA) to ensure relevant data. In the comparison test that has been done there are differences between all variables before and after and in the multiple linear regression test (ANOVA) that have been carried out there is no influence between the dependent variable and the independent variable.

The present study investigates the difference effect of problem solving model with or without game-based learning (GBL) on lower and higher achievers’. Ninety-one students of grade eight (M = 13.9; SD = 0,5 year) from Indonesia were randomly allocated to participated in the study. Data were analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative methods. Two test were used in this study, one for assessing prior knowladge, and the other for the post-testing. Posttes was composed of two measuring both numeric (procedural and arithmatical accuracy) and reasoning (applied problems in geometry). Results indicated that students who were exposed to the game-based learning within problem solving (PS+GBL) significantly outperformed their counterparts who were exposed on the basis of textbook within problem solving (PS+TB). The positive effects of PS+GBL were observed on both tests of numeracy and applied problems in geometry. In addition, the findings show the positive effects of PS+GBL method on lower and higher achievers.

The current information needs in the business world to be very important in determining the progress of a company. A good activity on a single company or technology is also determined by the available information. PT Lestari Eastern Nuances is a company engaged in the restaurant. The logging system supplies the raw materials of food are running currently still using Microsoft Excel to record incoming and outgoingraw food. The current running system still has many flaws and weaknesses as it takes quite a long time to figure out the amount of supplies of goods raw materials because an admin shed have to calculate the physical stock quantities directly, the occurrence of the difference in the number of requests the raw material with raw material expenses due to miscalculations by admin warehouse, takes a long time to make a request and expense report raw materials causing the company's performance be hampered, the absence of a reminder to remind Admins about the number of warehouse stock of raw materials so that when the raw materials needed by the chef stock no. Based on existing problems then needed a system to help the admin staff stock in managing demand and pengerluaran raw material so that it doesn't happen the difference in stocks of raw materials. The system will be created using the PHP programming language and the Mysql database, the method of analysis PIECES and using a systems development method in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
