In the professional educational organizations implementing the educational program of secondary General education within the development of professional educational on the basis of the main General education, studying of mathematics has the features depending on a profile of secondary vocational education. Profiling goals of mathematical education are reflected in the choice of priorities in the organization of educational activities of students. The scientific and technological revolution in all areas of human activity imposes new requirements on knowledge, technical culture, General and applied nature of education. This poses new challenges for the professional educational to improve education. The applied orientation of the school course of mathematics is carried out in order to improve the quality of mathematical education of student’s, the application of their mathematical knowledge to solve problems of daily practice and further professional activities. The article is devoted to the peculiarities and importance of integrated classes ‘Mathematics and Chemistry’ for obtaining professional skills in secondary vocational education. Experimental work has yielded positive results. The significance of the research: the materials of the article can be useful for school teachers of mathematics.

The experience of the Federal Agency for Railway Transport (Roszheldor) conducting annual training courses for the heads of educational institutions of secondary vocational education and heads of state universities of railways supervising their work, organized by the Training and Methodological Center for Education in Railway Transport, considered. The importance and role of the non-profit organization "Association of colleges and technical schools of transport", which has become a collegial body representing and defending the interests of a single educational community of railway colleges and technical schools working in the interests of the country's strategic industry, are considered. Today, the Association of colleges and technical schools of transport unites more than 50 educational organizations in the system of transport secondary vocational education. The main mission of the Association of colleges and technical schools of transport has been determined — coordination and organization of the activities of educational organizations, meeting the growing requirements of the industry for the quality of training qualified specialists of secondary vocational education, promoting the interests of transport education, including in matters of legal regulation of the implementation of tasks in the field of training specialists middle management. The factors providing the relevance and viability of the system of secondary vocational education of transport education are given. The prospects of the system of sectoral secondary vocational education are noted: the ability to quickly and disciplined rebuild, to effectively respond to the challenges of the time; the cohesion of the secondary vocational education system, manifested in the work of the Association of colleges and technical schools of transport — the coordinator and leading center of railway colleges and technical schools. A separate direction in the work of industry education is shown — participation in the WorldSkills movement in the context of the associated partnership of universities with the “Agency for the Development of Professional Communities and Workers Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia)”. The growing role of industry education in the WorldSkills Russia movement, which today is becoming a locomotive for professional education, is indicated.

Today, an urgent problem for applicants and employers is to obtain complete and reliable information about the quality of training of students by educational organizations of various levels, including secondary vocational education. One of the most demanded tools is an independent assessment of the quality of education and the creation of ratings of educational organizations. Of interest are the ratings generated by employers, which do not assess formal signs of compliance of the conditions for the implementation of the educational process with regulatory requirements, but include indicators that allow assessing the level of graduates ‘compliance with employers' requirements and the demand for graduates in the transport industry.The All-Russian Industry Association of Railway Transport Employers (Zheldortrans) this year for the first time held a rating of educational organizations that implement programs of secondary vocational education in railway specialties. This rating included the main indicators that allow assessing the quality of personnel training for railway transport enterprises. Information about the goals and criteria of rating formation, as well as its results is provided. According to the results of the work of the expert commission, formed from representatives of Zheldor-trans and the Russian Railways holding, the Chelyabinsk Institute of Railways, a branch of the Ural State University of Railways, was recognized as the best educational organization that implements training programs for specialists in secondary vocational education in the areas of rail transport.

Considered the experience of federal educational and methodological associations in the system of secondary vocational education for enlarged groups of professions, specialties created in 2015 by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation The main objects of their activity are federal state educational standards, sample programs, quality assurance and development of the content of secondary vocational education, professional improvement of the activities of scientific and pedagogical workers. They showed the formation of a new project team. It is important to collect all railway specialties in one group to ensure the unity of approaches in the development of the content of federal state educational standards of secondary vocational education of secondary vocational education, exemplary educational programs and examination of their content, as well as to improve the quality of educational content and continuity with higher education. The corresponding specialties of higher education are included in one group 23.00.00 “Engineering and technology of ground transport”. Federal educational and methodological associations in the system of secondary vocational education provide expert services in the field of their activities. For this, an Expert Council has been created. The composition of the Expert Council is formed from the number of teachers of educational institutions of open source education. In total, during the work of the Expert Council, more than 130 examinations of educational publications on road and rail transport have been carried out.

The article is devoted to the issues of developing spatial and ecological competence of students majoring in tourism at secondary vocational education institutions, and the relevance of introducing the geo-ecological aspect into the learning process with a view to improving the quality of training. The authors present a block-structure model demonstrating the process of developing the spatial and ecological / earth-and environment competencies, analyse relevant empirical research, and provide the rationale for introducing new educational standards of the third generation (discipline: ‘Geo-ecology and tourism’) into the 100401 «Tourism» curriculum.

In a situation of uncertainty, there is a rapid change of priorities, which is reflected both in the requirements for the level of professional training of specialists and in the requests of employers for new specialties. However, the list of specialties and areas of training of workers for the regional economy in the regional system of secondary vocational education is formed on the basis of applications from employers for a five-year perspective, but in a situation of uncertainty, no one can guarantee that in five years graduates of a particular specialty or profession will be in demand in the labor market. To achieve a balance in this problem, it is necessary to develop and implement new mechanisms for interaction between professional educational organizations and employers. The aim of this study is to determine the list of popular vocational education specialties, the description and identification of effective mechanisms of interaction between professional educational organizations and employers that affect the improvement of the quality of specialists training and the indicators of their employment according to their specialty based on the analysis of the indicators of the admission campaign and graduates employment of vocational education system of the Republic of Buryatia.

<p>The current research features employment of university graduates in the Siberian Federal District. The objective is to assess the quality of employment among higher education system graduates. The study is based on microdata obtained from a survey on employment conducted by the Federal Service of State Statistics (Rosstat). The methodology is based on a comparison of employment haracteristics (the level and profile of education, formal / informal, full / part-time employment) that reflect a possible demand for graduates on the local labour market. The main research methods are descriptive and regression analysis. The obtained results indicate that approximately one third of graduates fail to find work according to their specialty and perform jobs that do not require higher education. Every eighth graduate is employed in the informal sector. These figures indicate a lower quality of employment of graduates in the Siberian Federal District, compared with the average indicators for Russia. A regression analysis has showed that employment in accordance with the level and profile of education is determined mainly by individual characteristics of individuals. The best chances are in the field of medicine, the worst – in agriculture. The assumptions about<br />a high demand for specialists in the field of engineering and technology and a lower demand for specialists in economics and management have not been confirmed. These employment rates turned out to be approximately equal and correspond to average values. The obtained results can be used in the formation of programs of education development (primarily at the level of flagship universities) and improvement of educational programs.</p>

On the second part of the article the main attention is paid to the analysis of survival of patients with malignant tumors calculated on the base of the database of the population cancer register of the northwestern Federal district. The main criterion for assessing the state of oncological service is 1 and 5-years observed and relative survivals of patients with malignant tumors. Unfortunately, the number of cancer registers calculating survival rates of patients with malignant tumors according to international standards is limited in Russia. We present calculations of the dynamic series of the survival median. Defects of its objective assessment are revealed. Positive dynamics of 5-year observed survival of patients with malignant tumors in the Russian Federation is shown. Dynamics of 1 and 5 year survival of cancer patients is considered in pairs taking into account sex, age and stage of disease. There has been some improvement, especially among the female population. As can be seen from the data presented at the first year of observation, about 35 percent of patients die in the region, as in the most European countries.
