This research is aimed at finding patterns of arguments of argumentative paragraphs in the discussion parts of accredited economic journal articles. The research result shows that patterns of arguments can be differetiated into six, namely (1) Claim-Data; (2) Claim–Data 1–Data 2; (3) Data–Claim; (4) Data 1 – Data 2 – Claim; (5) Data 1– Data 2 – Data 3 – Data 4 – Data 5- Warrant – Claim; (6) Data 1 – Data 2 – Claim – Data 3 – Data 4 – Data 5. Thus it can be concluded that argument patterns of economic journal articles must be continuously increased. The effort of increasing quality of journal articles is considered urgent since Indonesian scientists who contribute ideas through writing journal articles will automatically increase scientific participation in the academic realm broadly.

It consists of  21 articles taken from the current issue 2018, where this study started. It is selected conveniently due to its unique and fame as a discipline and reputable sources. In collecting the data, the researcher accessed the journals published by science direct (Q1 Scopus indexed). The analysis showed that the writer in these three international journals commonly used several pronouns interchangeably. However, some articles in journal from Medical and Engineering consistently used only one chosen pronoun, which was recorded found at different sections in the journal article. The data then coded and transcribed to ease the analysis in this researcher. As a result of the study, it was found out that the data showed 19 kinds of pronouns in total were used in these three different fields. These results showed us that the pronoun usage in a scientific article from these three various fields varies with options of different pronouns.  The pronoun seems used to help the impact of imposition and showing politeness or quality of the articles.

This book provides the qualitative research community with some insight on how to evaluate the quality of qualitative research. This topic has gained little attention during the past few decades. We, qualitative researchers, read journal articles, serve on masters’ and doctoral committees, and also make decisions on whether conference proposals, manuscripts, or large-scale grant proposals should be accepted or rejected. It is assumed that various perspectives or criteria, depending on various paradigms, theories, or fields of discipline, have been used in assessing the quality of qualitative research. Nonetheless, until now, no textbook has been specifically devoted to exploring theories, practices, and reflections associated with the evaluation of qualitative research. This book constructs a typology of evaluating qualitative research, examines actual information from websites and qualitative journal editors, and reflects on some challenges that are currently encountered by the qualitative research community. Many different kinds of journals’ review guidelines and available assessment tools are collected and analyzed. Consequently, core criteria that stand out among these evaluation tools are presented. Readers are invited to join the author to confidently proclaim: “Fortunately, there are commonly agreed, bold standards for evaluating the goodness of qualitative research in the academic research community. These standards are a part of what is generally called ‘scientific research.’ ”

Reciprocal teaching is an instructional procedure designed to teach students cognitive strategies that might lead to improved reading comprehension. The learning of cognitive strategies such as summarization, question generation, clarification, and prediction is supported through dialogue between teacher and students as they attempt to gain meaning from text. This article is a review of sixteen studies on reciprocal teaching, which include published studies found in journal articles and unpublished studies indexed in Dissertation Abstracts International. All the studies included in this review were quantitative in methodology. When standardized tests were used to assess comprehension, the median effect size, favoring reciprocal teaching, was .32. When experimenter-developed comprehension tests were used, the median effect size was .88. We also discuss the role of cognitive strategies in enhancing comprehension, the strategies that were most helpful, instructional approaches for teaching cognitive strategies, the quality of the dialogue during reciprocal teaching, and suggestions for future research and practice.

There has been a recent increase in constraints-led training to assist the development of technical and cognitive skill in sports. While the benefits of constraints-led training appear obvious, the evidence for this type of training is not clear. Therefore, a systematic review of the literature was conducted to establish the effectiveness of this approach to training within interceptive sports. Four databases (Google Scholar, JURN, Mendeley and Science Direct) were searched for journal articles focused on skill acquisition within interceptive sports. A methodological and reporting quality assessment was done to determine the quality of each article. Eighteen articles were selected for review. The results of these two quality assessments revealed poor quality scores for the majority of the studies. However, 77.7% of the studies found a positive effect in skill acquisition following manipulation in training protocol; therefore, the implementation of the constraints-led approach within interceptive sport can be advocated. Key methodological structures were identified as well as aspects of methodology that should be avoided to ensure reliable results for future studies. Further research is required to determine the effectiveness of constraints-led training on interceptive sporting performance.

The method used is the canonical analysis method which is a multivariate model that studies the relationship between the dependent variable set varied from the independent variable set. The data characteristics for canonical correlation are metric data, namely interval or ratio data. The research result gained that responsiveness and concern give the significant effect on the cost so that customers want to buy continuously. For the recommendation, The Government needs to improve the quality of product endorsement among Tebing Tinggi and Indonesian consumers by making the program business promotion and international exhibitions through KLIBI.

The present work was developed with the objective of determining which is the best form of diagnosis and therapy for multiple sclerosis in Brazil. Methods: The review was performed in PubMed platform, with the descriptors: “multiple sclerosis”, “diagnosis”, “therapy” and “research”. Results: The research result in 148 articles. After a criterious reading and the application of the used criteria, was selected 20 articles. Conclusion: For the diagnosis of this chronic neurological disease, magnetic resonance imaging is used to assess myelination of the different regions of the central nervous system, which is the most suitable for the diagnosis of MS. Μoreover, as a complement, cerebrospinal fluid extraction and blood tests are performed in order to ascertain the concentration of B cells. Regarding therapeutics, this is diversified, including drugs, diets and therapies that stimulate cognition and motor action, such as the use of virtual reality programs and motor images. In relation to drugs, it is of importance that SUS makes natalizumab and ocrelizumab available because they are more efficient and enable users to have a better quality of life.
