Retno Hartati, Edy Supriyo, Muhammad Zainuri, in this paper explain that many salt industry is currently undergoing a inefficiencies process in the production system. Declining quality of salt from the salt ponds and lack of homogeneity in the iodine content of salt briquettes and much KIO3 wasted. So it is necessary to increase the iodine levels in salt. This activity aims to design, create and test a iodized salt machine with a capacity of 1-2 tons per hour and perform quality control on products. Community service activities have been successfully implemented by creating iodized salt machine. The process is done by means of iodized salt machine in the salt product becomes higher and meet ISO standards, in which prior to iodized salt machine the content of KIO3 is 0 ppm and become 50 ppm after using KIO3. Classroom Action Research is one effort that can be done by professional teachers in improving the quality of learning. The purpose of community service is to improve teachers' understanding in understanding PTK and can carry out PTK. This activity is intended for math teachers who are members of MGMP in High School. The form of service activities carried out in this activity is in the form of material delivery, practice of making proposals and consulting tasks. The workshop activity was attended by 30 high school mathematics teachers in Solok City. The results of this activity manifested 30 class Action research proposals.Keywords: PTK, MGMP, Mathematics Teachers.�AbstrakPenelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan guru profesional dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk menigkatkan pemahaman guru dalam memahami PTK serta dapat melaksanakan PTK. Kegiatan ini diperuntukan bagi guru-guru matematika yang tergabung dalam MGMP SMA Kota Solok. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah� berupa penyampaian materi, praktik pembuatan proposal dan konsultasi tugas. Community service activities aim at increasing the capabilities of HPI Karimunjawa members so that they are able to develop their potential to improve the welfare of tour guide entrepreneurs in the Karimunjawa Islands. The method used is the presentation of the concepts of administration and bookkeeping management, the concept of business and business administration systems, the concepts and strategies of business marketing, and the guided practice of assisting the filling of various business administration documents, and the practice and assistance of technology-based business administration management for HPI Karimunjawa using the online method. the job training and peer tutors. Based on the results of evaluations of the community service activities, it was found that: 97% of participants were able to explain the concepts of administrative management and bookkeeping able to master the material well, 85% of participants were able to explain the management of business and business administration systems well, and 97% were able to demonstrate the skills of marketing strategy management good business. Community service activities have been carried out properly in accordance with the planned program but to improve the use of technology it is necessary to improve the quality of internet network infrastructure in the Karimunjawa Islands.

Micro and small businesses are growing rapidly in the community but have weaknesses in the process of recording, accounting and compiling financial reports in accordance with applicable standards. The purpose of this activity is to provide training and mentoring on bookkeeping and compilation of simple financial reports to the micro and small business in the Kampung Pulo Geulis area, Babakan Pasar, Bogor as the activity partner. Community service activities seek to improve the ability of micro and small business managers and expected to improve the economic quality of the community in the area which has processed of developing into a tourism area in Central Bogor. The method of implementing activities are training and assisting of the activity of the participants which can provide optimal results to improve the community's economy, especially for those who need additional funds for their business. The selected samples are 25 micro and small businesses as the participants. The training was in the form of lectures and practicums accompanied by consulting and assisting in preparing a simple of financial report. The results of this activity will be in the form of simple bookkeeping guidelines and preparation of financial statements for micro and small businesses that can be understood by the participants.

Tengar Village Nguntonadi sub-district is one of brem-producing centers in Wonogiri region with high quality. However, in the management of brem production many experience barriers in addition to technology and marketing problems. The purpose of this community service activity is to transfer technology to improve the quality of brem production, and marketing management training to increase brem sales value. The method used is through training, mentoring to partners and monitoring although community service activities have been completed to maintain the sustainability of the program. The impact of community service activities is that there has been a transfer of technology from traditional to modern so that brem making becomes more hygienic and quality, as well as changes in marketing patterns from direct sales to sales through social media.Key words : Wonogiri’s brem, technology, marketing.

Objectives: The mandate of this working group was to assess the importance of salt iodine quality in successful IDD prevention and control. Examine the role of salt iodine content in quality assurance, inspection, surveillance, and coalition oversight of IDD programs. Methods: Scientific literature, technical reports and a range of data and information sources were reviewed to determine whether accurate salt iodization was making a critical contribution toward safe and successful IDD programs. Results: Evidence and examples were collected on salt iodine data in quality assurance of iodization by salt industry, assessments of iodized salt quality by inspectors in factories and markets, surveillance of USI strategies and dietary iodine supplies by program managers, and in provision of coalition oversight by high-level officials. Conclusions: Because salt iodization is a supply-based strategy, reliable accuracy at the source is most critical. It is therefore vital that each salt factory should adopt a quality management system, with standard operating procedures at least for the manufacturing and packaging of iodized salt. Titration is preferred but other quantitative methods with e.g. the WYD Checker, i-Reader or Bioanalyt can also yield accurate data. Improved accuracy down the supply chain is desirable, especially in surveillance, but commonly points to the need for ensured accuracy at the source when quality failures are discovered. The need remains for an agreed approach to obtain reliable data of the use of iodized salt in the food manufacturing industry.

Iodized salt is the best means of providing iodine to deficient populations, and it has been used successfully and safely for 70 years around the world. In China about 450 million people live in iodine-deficient areas. The prevalence of endemic goitre in 7- to 14-year-old children was estimated to be 20% (7 million cases). The Chinese government has undertaken to eliminate iodine-deficiency disorders by the year 2000, and the manufacture and use of iodized salt throughout China has been compulsory since early 1995. Currently, potassium iodate is used. National regulations require the iodine content of iodized salt to be no less than 30 mg/kg in the salt-processing plant, no less than 25 mg/kg in the market, and no less than 20 mg/kg in the household. According to sporadic sample checking, however, the iodine content of salt in the market and the household is far from satisfactory. The loss of iodine during cooking is as high as 50% to 70%. The major problems in the fortification of salt with iodine in China are the use of uniodized salt in remote areas, an unsatisfactory system for monitoring the quality of iodized salt, the lack of knowledge and skill among marketing staffs, the loss of iodine during storage and cooking, and the lack of nationwide systematic studies to monitor the effectiveness of iodized salt in the control of endemic goitre.

Abstract.BUMDES Sun Coco can be considered as a forum / association of coconut processed products, include VCO and klentik oil processors. Processing of coconut water and liquid-byproduct of VCO  into nata de coco has not been provided maximum benefit for farmers. Current situation,  coconut water which processed into nata de coco sold still in raw product, at very cheap prices, usually sold at a price of Rp. 1150 / kg . If the quality of the nata de coco product improved and processed further into ready to drink baverage products, it will increase its selling value and hence will provide business opportunities; which is can be done and accepted by the local community,  therefore,  it has an impact on employment and the development of SME’s in the region. So far, no farmer has processed it further into ready to drink baverages.The implementation of community service activities is considered successful. This can be seen from the innovations of the participants in making ready to drink baverages based on nata de coco which have very good quality and are suitable for sale. This home industry continuity needs to be followed up with marketing guidance and approval from the Ministry of Health.Abstrak. Pengolahan air kelapa dan produk sampingan cair VCO menjadi nata de coco yang dilakukan masyarakat sekitar Bumdes sun coco desa Petanahan belum memberikan manfaat maksimal. Keadaan saat ini, air kelapa yang diolah menjadi nata de coco dijual masih dalam produk mentah, dengan harga sangat murah, biasanya dijual dengan harga Rp. 1150 / kg.  Jika kualitas produk nata de coco ditingkatkan dan diproses lebih lanjut menjadi produk minuman siap minum, maka akan meningkatkan nilai jualnya dan karenanya akan memberikan peluang bisnis; yang dapat dilakukan dan diterima oleh komunitas lokal, oleh karena itu, berdampak pada pekerjaan dan pengembangan UKM di wilayah tersebut. Sejauh ini, tidak ada petani yang memprosesnya lebih lanjut ke dalam minuman siap minum. Program pengabdian pada masyarakat PKM Berbasis Riset 2018 ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan nilai ekonomi nata de coco bagi masyarakat sekitar Bumdes Sun Coco desa Petanahan melalui alih teknologi pembuatan nata de coco secara baik dan benar, dan pembuatan minuman ready to drink berbasis nata de coco. Pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM Berbasis Riset 2018 ini dianggap berhasil, dapat dilihat dari inovasi para peserta dalam membuat minuman ready to drink berbasis nata de coco yang memiliki kualitas sangat baik dan cocok untuk dijual. Kontinuitas kegiatan ini perlu ditindaklanjuti dengan bimbingan pemasaran dan bantuan mendapatkan PIRT. Dengan memanfaatkan air kelapa dan produk sampingan cair VCO menjadi nata de coco, maka akan tercipta lingkungan yang bersih sehingga dengan sendirinya meningkatkan taraf kesehatan masyarakat. Melalui kegiatan ini juga akan terbangun kerjasama kemitraan antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat sehingga tujuan pembangunan ekonomi dan kesehatan masyarakat dapat terwujud.

AbstrakKriya mempunyai cakupan yang sangat luas salah satunya adalah   kriya kayu, dimana   konsentrasi penggunaan bahan baku utamanya   didominasi   bahan baku kayu. Diantara keragaman produk kriya kayu adalah produk kerajian sangkar burung. Dari data yang ada diketahui bahwa dalam 10 tahun terakhir telah mengalami booming. Hal ini karena banyaknya muncul peternak burung sebagai komoditi perdagangan maupun banyaknya komunitas-komunitas pecinta burung baik dari kalangan masyarakat ekonomi lemah hingga masyarakat menengah dan atas. Kebutuhan sangkar burung meningkat dengan pesat hampir merata di setiap daerah dan berdampak pula muncul sentra kerajinan sangkar burung sebagai kantong penghasil sangkar burung. Salah satunya sentra kerajinan sangkar burung di kalurahan Kadipiro, Banjarsari, Surakarta. Terdapat  beberapa permasalahan  yang  menjadikendala di sentra kerajinan sangkar burung di kalurahan Kadipiro Surakarta, diantaranya adalah; Tidak mampu memproduksi dalam waktu yang singkat, tidak adanya standarisasi produk fungsional, kurangnya tenaga kerja trampil dalam mengembangkan produk. Tidak ada produk dengan branded tertentu sehingga mudah ditiru. Berpijak dari permasalahan dan kondisi di sentra kerajinan sangkar burung Kadipiro  maka  dilakukan kegiatan peningkatan pengembangan produk sangkar burung melalui program PPM, dengan target pengusaha bernama Yudi Haryadi yang saat ini sedang merintis kerajinan sangkar burung bernama “Carisa Sangkar” . Fokus dari kegiatan PPM ini lebih diarahkan pada pada aspek peningkatan kualitas produk karya kriya kayu khususnya sangkar burung dengan pembuatan desain yang baik sampai  menjadi  prototype.  Kemudian  dilakukan  penguatan sumber  daya  manusia, melalui pendampingan lapangan, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan penjualan dan sekaligus secara tidak langsung dapat meningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat.Kata kunci : Kriya,  kreativitas, sangkar burung, sistem produksi AbstractCraft has a very broad scope one of which is wood craft, where the concentration of the use of raw materials  is mainly  dominated by  wood raw  materials. Among the  wood craft  products are  bird cage. It is known that in the last 10 years becoming the peak season. This is due to the large number of bird breeders emerging as trade commodities as well as the many bird-loving communities from among the economically weak to the middle and upper classes. The need for bird cages is rapidly increasing almost evenly in every area and the impact is also emerging centers of bird cage crafts as bird cage producers. One  is a bird cage craft center in Kadipiro , Banjarsari, Surakarta. There are a number of problems that have become obstacles in the bird cage handicraft center in Kadipiro Surakarta, including not able to produce in a short time, there is no standardization of functional products, lack of skilled workforce in developing products. There is no specific branded product so it is easy to imitate. Based on the problems and conditions in the Kadipiro bird cage craft, activities to improve the development of bird cage products through the community service , with the target of a businessman named Yudi Haryadi who is currently pioneering a bird cage craft called “Carisa Cage”. Improving the quality of wood craft products, especially birdcages by making good designs to become prototypes. Then do strengthening human resources, through field assistance, which is expected to increase sales and at the same time indirectly improve community welfare.Keywords: crafts, creativity, bird cage, production system

Chicken manure is an organic material that is abundant in Mentangor Village which has been used as fertilizer when fertilizing ponds, however the continuous use of fertilizers can reduce the quality of the bottom soil and pond water. One of the technological innovations to improve the quality of chicken manure is fermentation using EM4 to produce bokashi fertilizer. Bokashi fertilizer can increase the abundance of phytoplankton and zooplankton which are useful as natural fish food so that they can reduce the use of artificial feed, which in turn can reduce the operational costs of fish farming. Community service activities are carried out for the purpose of innovating knowledge and skills of fish farmers regarding techniques for making bokashi fertilizer from chicken manure and techniques for making fish feed in the form of pellets to increase cultivated fish production. This activity is carried out by lecturing, discussion and practice methods, which involve fish cultivator groups and Kukerta students. The results of community service activities show the high enthusiasm of farmers towards the activities carried out, resulting in increased knowledge, insight and skills of farmer groups. Thus, fish farming activities can be carried out by farmers by reducing operational costs for pond management and provision of feed so as to produce high fish production and increase the income and welfare of farmer groups.

Pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran merupakan salah satu kompetensi profesional guru yang penting untuk mengukur kualitas hasil belajar siswa. Pada mata pelajaran kimia, evaluasi pembelajaran tersebut perlu dilakukan secara detil hingga diketahui sejauh mana pemahaman konsep yang dimiliki siswa. Salah satu instrumen evaluasi pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah tes diagnostik bentuk bertingkat atau multi–tier. Beberapa penelitian di Indonesia melaporkan bahwa guru cenderung mengalami kesulitan dalam mengembangkan instrumen evaluasi yang berbasis diagnostic multi–tier. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) berikut bertujuan untuk membantu guru menjadi terampil dalam mengembangkan instrumen evaluasi diagnostik multi–tier. Peserta kegiatan adalah seluruh guru kimia dari MGMP (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran) Kimia Kabupaten Barito Kuala, Kalimantan Selatan. Kegiatan PkM dilaksanakan sebanyak dua kali secara daring. Metode kegiatan meliputi: (1) Penyampaian materi oleh narasumber; (2) Diskusi dan tanya–jawab antara narasumber dengan peserta; (3) Penugasan kepada peserta; dan (4) Evaluasi hasil penugasan. Instrumen evaluasi diagnostik multi–tier yang telah dikembangkan oleh peserta kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat diharapkan dapat menguatkan kompetensi profesional guru Kimia Implementation of learning evaluation is one of the teacher's professional competence that is important to survey students' quality of learning outcomes. The evaluation in chemistry subject needs to be done detailly in determining how students understand the concepts. One of the learning evaluation instruments that can be used is multi-tier diagnostic. Several studies in Indonesia reported that teachers experience difficulties developing evaluation instruments based on multi-tier diagnostic. The following community service activities aimed to help teachers become skilled in developing multi-tier diagnostic evaluation instruments. Participants in the activity were all chemistry teachers from the MGMP (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran) of Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan. The activity was carried out twice online. Methods of activity included: (1) Delivering material by the speakers; (2) Discussions between speakers and participants; (3) Assigning participants; and (4) Evaluating the assignment's result. There was expected that the multi-tier diagnostic evaluation instruments developed by participants of community service could strengthen their professional competence.
