The Faculty of Economics and Management is providing quality economic and managerial education within the accredited study programs. We analyzed the obtained students´ results of study program Accounting in the subject of Basics of Accounting. The analysis subject was the students’ success in the before mentioned subject and changes in the final assessment. We assessed reached results of 318 students for 4 academic years, this subject was obligatory for these students. The final assessment was analyzed as a whole, as well as the manner these students achieved. We were interested whether the student met the conditions in an ordinary term. According to our opinion the analysis considered the necessary factor, the type of graduated secondary school. The average grade in individual terms was calculated by the arithmetic mean from all grades “A - FX”, the total average grade was similarly calculated as the arithmetic mean of the final assessment recorded in the reports. In the analysis, the structure of students was also described through the mode, which is defined as the most common value of a statistical feature. We found out that the graduates of business academy prevail in the study program Accounting. We assumed that the graduates of business academies reach the best results in comparison with other students. However, the aggregated results of assessments did not confirm the existence of such an advantage. The worst average assessment is characteristic for the first corrective term, on the contrary, the best average grade is given in the second corrective term.

This research is a descriptive study that aims to analyze the effective application of metacognitive through instructional media, the meticulous subjects used in this study are 3 students who have high, medium, low ability. What was done in the Elementary School Education Study Program of the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. The theory used is Slavin's metacognitive theory and the theory of the effectiveness of learning using Dunn's theory. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques, namely observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the analysis obtained from this study were, subject A did metacognitive thinking and the existing media proved to be effective in helping metacognitive way of thinking, whereas in subject B the metacognitive way of thinking had been done only in the process of monitoring and evaluation was still lacking, the use of media on the object image said the subject helps in the process of his work. While the subject C metacognitive thought process has been carried out, only the evaluation process is still lacking, while the existing media helps in the process of metacognitive thinking. So it can be concluded that the media is very effective in helping the application of metacognitive thinking in producing two-dimensional works of art in students of elementary school teacher study programs at the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo.

Veterinary medical students, similar to elite collegiate athletes, are developing strategies for learning new skills and for self-care to take their performance to the next level. As veterinary students learn to successfully navigate an information-dense, high-volume curriculum, many sacrifice wellness, leadership opportunities, extracurricular activities, and social interactions. Strategies from athletes’ physical training were used to design a self-study program for first-year veterinary medical students. Major considerations in program design were the characteristics of the human being, learning goals, and contextual constraints. The study program included a warm-up, study sessions, and a cooldown. The program was offered to first-year veterinary medical students at Purdue University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Thirty-two students requested study programs and 21 completed surveys at the semester end. Results were analyzed quantitatively and by using an adapted conventional content analysis approach. Responses were organized into three main domains: reason for participation, program utility, and program satisfaction. Students shared that the most helpful aspects of the program were assisting with organization and time management, providing accountability, and reducing overwhelm by enhancing well-being and performance; they reported that these learned skills would support their well-being as future professionals. This article describes the experiences of one group of veterinary students at one college using these programs. The long-term goal is to develop a model program for all veterinary students to manage curricular demands while maintaining well-being.

The interest of students to continue studying at the Politeknik Pariwisata Makassar is very large and increases from year to year.. This study aims to formulate a development strategy for the Food and Beverage Service Management study program as one of the superior study programs at Makassar Tourism Polytechnic. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. Respondents in this study totaled 241 consisting of 140 male respondents and 101 female respondents who were a combination of students, lecturers/staff of the Food and Beverage Service Management study program at Makassar Tourism Polytechnic, hotel/restaurant employees, entrepreneurs, employees of other companies, and that hasn't worked. The data collection techniques used in this study were: questionnaires, interviews, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and literature study. The data analysis technique was carried out in three stages, namely the input stage, the matching stage and the decision stage. The conclusion of this research is that the analysis results from the IFAS matrix show that the strength factor of the study program is much greater than the weakness factor so that the study program has strengths or advantages that can be developed. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis from the EFAS matrix show that the opportunities the study program has are greater than the threat factors so that the study program has a greater chance of being developed. As for the results of the QSPM matrix analysis, the TAS value that has been listed is that the W-O strategy gets the highest value of 6,354, the W-T strategy is 6,027 then the S-O strategy is 5,976 and finally the S-T strategy is 5,869. That is, the development strategy of the MTH study program is compiled in 14 priority strategies from 20 formulated strategies consisting of the W - O Strategy (5 strategies), the W - T Strategy (4 strategies), the S - O Strategy (3 strategies), and the S - T (2 strategies).

Based on the policy of the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT) in Regulation No. 4 of 2017 concerning the Policy for Preparing Accreditation Instruments, the duration of study is one of the benchmarks and evaluation elements in accreditation of study programs. From the Faculty of Engineering academic data, Darma Persada University, many students take more than four years of study. The duration of study is one of the problems of the study program manager in terms of academic performance. This study aims to analyze the old patterns of study by students of the Faculty of Engineering, Darma Persada University from academic data. K-Means algorithm clustering technique is used with the variables are majors, the area of origin, age, gender, Grade Point Average (GPA), Semester Credit Unit (SKS), year of entry and study duration. The Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis (WEKA) software is used as an analytic tool. The initial stage of research is through collecting data from archives or Academic sections, namely academic data from students of the Faculty of Engineering, Darma Persada University, 2009 to 2014. The next stage is preprocessing data through K-Means algorithm clustering analysis by first calculating many clusters using the Elbow method and result interpretation. From the Elbow method result, the number of clusters used is 4 (four) clusters. Based on the results of the K-Means clustering process, the data sharing in each cluster is cluster 1 (one) totaling 556 data (26%), cluster 2 (two) totaling 414 data (19%), cluster 3 (three) totaling 189 data (9%) and cluster 4 (four) totaling 1010 data (46%).
