In this paper present the results of research of influence of the preparation «Kvatronan-Se» and carboxylates of Se, Cu, Mn, Cr, Ge in different combinations on haematological parameters of blood of experimental animals. Study was carried out on the basis of PC Haleks-Agro. It is located in the village Gul'sk of Novograd Volynskiy district of Zhytomyr region. In the farm to bred of Simmental cows. For the experiment was formed four groups. We took into account age, live weight of 650–700 kg and the average milk yield 5000–6000 kg. Animals is located in identical conditions of feeding and maintenance. Research experiment was carried out on animals couples counterparts.  Preparations introduced animals three times at 10–12 days after insemination. The cows first experimental group were injected complex nanokarboksylativ Ge, Cu, Mn and Cr, second – drug Kvatronan–Se and animals third experimental group was administered a complex composed of Se, Cu, Mn, Cr. On 13 day after insemination in experimental animals were taken blood from tail vein and examined the contents of hematological parameters. Established that injection nanokarboksylativ enhance the fertility of cows in the first and third group, the figure rose to 20% in the second by 40% compared with the control. Research hematological parameters blood  animals shows that after entering content drugs of blood cells had minor changes but remained within the physiological norm. The results show that in  concentration monocyte the second group  was at 5.53% (P > 0.01) higher compared to the control group and 2.3% compared to the first and third. The content of lymphocytes in this group decreased by 26.3% (P > 0.05), 22% and 16% relative to the control, the first and third groups. Also, it should be noted that the hemoglobin in the experimental groups decreased in group I by 7.9% in the II – 3.9% and III by 7.3% compared with the control group. Also, these groups distinguished downward trend eosinophils 1.8%, 1.5%, 2.05%. Then, as the number of segment-nuclear neutrophils contrast, in the first group increased by 18.2% in the second and third at 16.9% comparatively control. The number of monocytes in the second group doslfidniy the suspicion was higher by 66.3% and 0.3% higher than the physiological norm – it may indicate a high immune response.

The results of research on the use of the probiotic drug “Profort” in the diet of young pigs have been presented in the article. The research was carried out under the conditions of LLC “Agrofirma Ariant” on the crossbreds of young pigs. The purpose of the research was to study the eff ectiveness of the effect of the probiotic drug “Profort” in intensive pig rearing on the reproductive traits of sows and the productive traits of piglets. In order to conduct the scientific and economic experiment at the first stage, 2 groups of pregnant sows were formed in each with 10 heads. The feeding and housing of the experimental animals were the same. In addition to the main diet the sows of the experimental group were fed the probiotic additive “Profort” at the dose of 500 g/t of feed for 30 days before and 30 days after farrowing. At the second stage the resulting young animals were divided into 3 groups. In addition to the main diet the young animals of the 1st experimental group have been received the probiotic drug “Profort” from 7 to 105 days together with compound feed. Piglets of the 2nd experimental group have been received the probiotic additive from 7 to 30 days. It has been found during of studies that as a result of the use of probiotic additive the prolificacy of sows in the experimental group was higher – 10,6 compared to 10,4 heads in the control group. The livability of piglets for weaning in the experimental group was 97,9 % compared to 93,9 % in the control group. The absolute gain in live weight of piglets from 30 to 105 days in the experimental groups was 34,94–36,98 kg, which was higher than in the control group by 7,9–14,2 %. In the blood of piglets of the experimental groups, the increase in the level of red blood cells, total protein, calcium and phosphorus has been noted.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effects of feeding peat as a supplement in the period after weaning on the performance and health status of pigs. Also to assess the risk of the development of tuberculous lesions in the lymph nodes and parenchymatous organs, caused by conditionally pathogenic mycobacteria present in peat. Twenty Large White × Landrace pigs in equal numbers of barrows and gilts (mean live weight 18.0 ± 1.7 kg) were used in the experiment. The experimental group was fed a diet containing commercial underground peat in the dose of 80 g peat/kg dry matter for 30 days. Subsequently, they were fed an identical diet with the control group without peat for 60 days. A short-time feeding peat did not significantly affect the growth and performance of pigs. From day 21, a statistically highly significant (P < 0.01) increase in the consumption of the experimental diet was recorded, however, without a positive effect on the growth of experimental animals. The conversion of the peat containing diet was comparable to the conversion of the control diet. It follows from the results of biochemical analysis of blood that peat feeding for 30 days did not adversely affect the metabolic profile and health status of experimental animals. No tuberculous or tuberculoid lesions in lymph nodes or parenchymatous organs were detected in any of 20 slaughtered animals. Despite that, mycobacteria were isolated from 10 (25.0%) tissues of 5 (50.0%) pigs from the experimental group. One isolate was identified as Mycobacterium avium subsp. hominissuis (IS901– and IS1245+). Seven of nine isolates were determined as conditionally pathogenic atypical mycobacteria: M. fortuitum (n = 2) and M. xenopi (n = 5). It follows from the present results that feeding of a peat supplemented diet to pigs may be considered as economically non-effective and due to the findings of mycobacteria as risky.

Objective: To assess miR-155’s effect on aplastic anemia (AA) rats. Methods: In the present study, the healthy rats (control group) and AA rats including AA rats with miR-155 overexpression (experimental group I) and those with miR-155 deficiency (experimental group II), were selected. The levels of miR-155, STAT3 (a key gene in STAT3 signaling pathway) and phosphorylated STAT3 (p-STAT3) in control group and experimental group were detected via qPCR and Western blotting. Moreover, the number of white blood cells (WBCs), red blood cells (RBCs), platelets (PLTs) and hemoglobin (HGB) level were also measured. Results: The level of miR-155 in AA rats was significantly declined compared with that in healthy rats (p < 0.05). STAT3 mRNA level was significantly declined in AA rats with miR-155 overexpression compared with that in AA rats with miR-155 deficiency (p < 0.05). STAT3 and p-STAT3 protein expression in AA rats with miR-155 overexpression were significantly lower than those in AA rats with miR-155 deficiency (p < 0.05). Besides, it was found that the number of WBC, RBC, PLT and HGB level were significantly elevated in AA rats with miR-155 overexpression compared to those in AA rats with miR-155 deficiency (p < 0.05). Conclusion: miR-155 can improve the AA symptoms of rats through inhibiting the STAT3 signaling pathway.

A study of the effectiveness of the use of feed additive Liaform in relation to its effect on the growth and development of broiler chickens. For research, 2 groups of broiler chickens of 55 heads (control and experimental) from 8 days of age were formed on the principle of analogues. Feeding of the control group was carried out with standard complete feed. Feeding of the experimental group was carried out with standard complete feed, in which the feed additive Liaform was added at the rate of 2 g / kg. During the experiment, the general condition of the bird, the safety of the bird, zootechnical and hematological parameters were monitored. It is established that the studied feed additive has a positive effect on the productivity of broiler chickens, improves feed absorption. As a result of the use of feed additive Liaform live weight of broiler chickens in the experimental group was 4.3 % higher compared to the control. The average daily gain of chickens in the experimental group exceeded this figure of chickens in the control group by 4,1 %. The use of feed additives helped to increase feed conversion. The use of Liaform feed increased the protein level in poultry meat

Abstract. In the domestic fur farming there is an urgent need to introduce an alternative type of feeding for young minks. The purpose of the work is to study possible of feeding commercial young minks with complete feed, consisting of animal and plant components. Methods. In a scientific and economic experiment on young sapphire minks intended for slaughter, 2 groups were formed according to the principle of analogues, 32 heads each (16 males and 16 females): I – control, II – experimental. The animals of the control group received from 2015 August 5 to September 15 a typical general economic ration in the form of a wet mash, an experimental one – a loose, complete feed (made according to a recipe developed by us, taking into account the current norms), mixed with water in a ratio of 1:2. All experimental studies were carried out using classical zootechnical, pathomorphological, histological, veterinary-sanitary and statistical methods. Results and scope. The dynamics of the live weight of the experimental minks showed that by the beginning of the main period, the males and females of the experimental group lagged behind the control animals, after switching to the main diet for slaughter, the males lag remained and the females caught up with the control animals. But the control and experimental animals did not differ in the length of the carcass. The safety of the livestock was higher in the experimental group: males – 100 %, females – 93.75 %; in control – 93.75 % and 87.5 %, respectively. According to the main productive indicator – the quality test – the skins of the control and experimental animals did not have significant differences. Thus, the development of an alternative type of feeding is quite possible, but it requires improvement in the direction of increasing the coefficient of digestibility of nutrients and adaptation of males to an uncharacteristic type of feeding. Scientific novelty. The prospects and the need to introduce an alternative type of feeding the commercial young stock of minks with full-feed compound feeds into the domestic fur farming are outlined.

Among the environmental factors, feeding is the most important in the formation of new traits and properties. The level of feeding influences first of all on the digestive system. Then the nature of feeding affects the organs associated with the utilization of nutrients, and ultimately the body as a whole. The purpose of the researches was to study the correlation between productive and hematological parameters in steers against the background of the use of the feed additive Biovitel. The research has been carried out under the environments of JSC “SHF Dubrovsky” in the Chelyabinsk region on steers of Hereford breed. In order to carry out experiments 2 groups of steers (control and experimental) have been formed with 10 heads in each. The method of pair-analogues has been used taking into account the genotype, age, birth weight and physiological state of animals. The experiment has been conducted from 6- to 15-month-old steers. The control group has been received the main farm ration. The experimental group has been received the basic ration and additional feed additive Biovitel at the rate of 100 g/head/ day for 15 days. The correlation between hematological parameters and productivity of steers against the background of the use of the feed additive Biovitel has been determined. During the study a positive correlation between the total protein and protein fractions with the live weight of steers has been observed. High correlation coefficients have been obtained in steers of both groups at the age of 9 months. The amount of total lipids in all age periods in both groups changed relatively little, but the trend of their increase in steers of the experimental group remained. The concentration of phospholipids in the control group was almost at the same level, and in the experimental group there was an excess of control values by 5,52 %. Activation of redox processes in the animal body has been observed under the action of the feed protein additive Biovitel.

As a result of research and production experience in the economy of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the effect of three-time administration of the drug «Selenopiran» at a dose of 300 mg during the dry season on the ease of calving, milk productivity and reproductive functions of cows was studied. For this purpose, two groups of cows (n=10) were selected: an experimental group and a control group. Starting from the confirmation of 6-month pregnancy, 25% oil solution of the drug «Selenopiran» at a dose of 30 ml was administered three times at intervals of 5–6 days to animals of the experimental group. 14 days after last injection from experimental and control animals were taken blood samples for haematological study determined the red blood indices: the number of red blood cells and hemoglobin, white blood: white blood cell count and leukocyte formula, and lysozime and bactericidal activity of blood serum. Further, the animals were monitored both during calving and postpartum period, and during subsequent artificial insemination and lactation, the duration of independent and manual separation of the afterbirth, the frequency of occurrence, form, duration of the course and outcome of specific diseases of the postpartum period (endometritis and early mastitis) were recorded. Fruitful insemination was determined based on the results of rectal studies. Based on these observations, the main indicators of herd reproduction were calculated, i.e. the insemination index (the number of inseminations per 36 fruitful), the duration of the period and the interbody period. As a result, the service period in the experimental group decreased by 113,7% relative to the control animals (178,2 days versus 2,3), the insemination index also improved in the experimental group – 3,8, against 1,6 in the control group. The average daily milk yield in the experimental group is 2,9 kg higher, and the live weight of calves at birth is XNUMX kg. A comparative analysis of hematological parameters of experimental and control cows obtained a higher level of markers of nonspecific immunity in the experimental group. Consequently, along with relatively rapid recovery of reproductive organs and shortening of the service period, the cows of the experimental group also had higher indicators of non-specific resistance compared to the cows of the control group.

The article presents the research results on the vitaminselenium-containing preparation (1.0 l / t) using effectiveness in the broiler chickens diet in combination with enzyme preparations “CelloLux-F” (100 g/t, experimental group I), “Protosubtilin G3x” (60 g/t, experimental group II) and “Amylosubtilin G3x” (200 g/t, experimental group III). It was found that the broilers of the experimental groups exceeded the average live weight by 2.74-4.95%; dry matter digestibility - by 0.89-1.58%, protein - by 1.41-2.71%, fat - by 1.16-2.03%, fiber - by 0.82-1.69 and nitrogen-free extractive substances - 0.74-1.43%, nitrogen use - by 1.35-2.99%; drawn bird weight - by 2.93-5.89%, edible carcass parts - by 3.33-6.47%, pectoral muscles - by 3.53-7.83%. In the experimental groups broiler chickens, the meat quality indicators are improved: dry matter content in the pectoral muscles - by 0.30; 0.12 and 0.07%, protein - by 0.41 (P <0.001); 0.16 (P <0.01) and 0.13% (P <0.05). The experimental broilers groups slightly exceeded the control group in terms of the biological value and the pectoral muscles meat culinary and technological properties. Redox and metabolic processes were more intensive in young animals of the experimental groups than in the control one. Among the experimental groups, the meat productivity and quality highest indicators were noted in broiler chickens of the I-st experimental group, they received the preparation “Carcesel” in combination with the enzyme preparation “CelloLux-F”.

Improvement of welfare of piglets is one of the key factors which underlie the effectiveness of producing pork and the profitability of pig farming. This article offers a solution to the main industrial problem – creation of comfortable maintenance conditions for pigs using toys which satisfy their ethological needs. Piglets used in the experiment were kept in the swine complex of agricultural production of Agrofirm Mig-Service-Agro Cooperative in Novoodesky district of Mykolaiv Oblast (Ukraine). The objective of the study was assessment of the effect of toys on the behaviour of piglets, level of concentration of hormone serotonin in blood plasma and their energy of growth. The experiment was performed on 120 weaned piglets aged 28 days, which were divided according to the principle of analogues with 60 individuals in each group: I – the control group, the animals were kept with no toys; II – the experimental group, where the animals had toys. During the experiment chronometric monitoring of the piglets’ behavioural acts was carried out using video observation, we extracted blood samples for determination of the content of the hormone serotonin using the method of highly-efficient fluid chromatography and assessed the growth of the piglets. After the end of the experiment, we determined that the presence of toys reduced the intragroup aggression, which was accompanied by decrease in the duration of fights and almost three-fold increase in playing behaviour. Among piglets which had access to toys, the number of individuals observed to bite tails and ears decreased from 11 to 3. In the period of the study, the concentration of serotonin in the blood plasma of piglets who had free access to toys was 10 times higher compared with animals of the control group. Change in the behaviour patterns among the animals of the experimental group led to significant differences regarding the parameters of growth, where probable increase in the live weight at the age of 90 days was observed, which was associated with significant increase in their mean daily weight gain compared with the animals of the control group. This study confirms that use of toys for piglets during growth completion can prevent features of aggression and abnormal forms of stereopathy within groups, increase the live weight and mean daily weight gain and improve emotional condition, which affects the welfare of pigs.

We studied dynamics of live weight and morphological composition of carcasses in Ross 308 chickens at 1-, 21-, 28-, 34-, 38- and 42-day ages when SUB-PRO probiotic was included in the diet instead of Maxus G feed antibiotic in amount of 100 g/ton of feed. By the age of 42, chickens in the control group (I) reached a live weight of 2234 28.4 g, chickens in the experimental group (II) - 2329 27.3 g, and chickens who took feed antibiotic (III) - 2320 33.4 g. Live weight of chickens of the II group by the age of 42 days exceeded the I group by 95 g or 4.25 % (P 0.05), the III group - by 86 g or 3.85 %. In terms of carcass weight, the experimental group exceeded the control group by 4.60 % (P 0.05), group III - by 4.53 %. The meat productivity of chickens taking antibiotic was not studied further, since that had no practical significance. Over the entire period of rearing, the average daily gain in live weight in control chickens was 52.20 g, in the experimental chickens - 54.46 g. The relative muscle weight in broiler carcasses of the experimental group increased from 55.34 to 66.37 %v from 1 to 42 days of age, while the relative bone weight decreased from 33.23 to 16.78 %. By the age of 42, absolute muscle and bone weight had 123.47- and 51.91-fold increase, respectively, in comparison with diurnal weight. The data of anatomical cutting of chicken carcasses showed that, in terms of muscle and bone content, the most valuable were: breast - 84.63 and 8.25 %, thigh - 75.66 and 12.54 %, respectively; less valuable: drumstick - 67.86 and 20.98 %, wing - 50.58 and 33.53 %, respectively. Diameter of muscle fibers of superficial pectoralis muscle in 42-day-old broilers was 55.20 m; water content - 75.10 %, fat - 1.60 %, protein - 22.31 %. In terms of microbiological parameters, carcass meat meets the requirements of GOST 31468-2012 interstate standard. The inclusion of SUB-PRO probiotic in chicken diet instead of antibiotic does not reduce productivity, but excludes the negative consequences of antibiotic use.
