Introduction. Tourism activities are important development drivers of regional economies. Regional tourism has gained special significance in the last year, when restrictions on international travel caused by the COVID-19 pandemic diverted tourist flows to domestic travel. The research topic is of relevance because of the peculiarities and uneven development of tourism and tourism infrastructure in different regions of Russia and because of the need to identify the causes and consequences of the emerging imbalances. Based on the results of the conducted research, the article identifies the regional features of development of tourism infrastructure and the factors affecting them. Materials and Methods. The study was based on the analysis of official statistical data from Russian Federal State Statistics Service and the Federal Agency for Tourism regarding the development of tourism and tourism infrastructure in the federal districts of the Russian Federation. To identify the level of development of the tourism infrastructure, economic and statistical methods were used, as well as specific indicators characterizing the tourist infrastructure, including the Baretje-Defert and Schneider indices, etc. A horizontal and structural analysis of statistical data on the development of tourism and its infrastructure was carried out, which made it possible to identify the features of regional development of tourism infrastructure. Results. The authors have analyzed statistical data characterizing tourism activities, studied regional imbalances in the development of tourism infrastructure, identified the causes and consequences of uneven development of regional infrastructural support for tourism activities, and formulated proposals for taking them into account when developing strategic master plans for development of tourist areas. Discussion and Conclusion. The results obtained can be used when devising strategies for development of regional infrastructural support for tourism activities, as well as when preparing master plans for tourist destinations, which will contribute to increasing the scientific validity of managerial decisions regarding tourism development at the regional level.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the current state of healthcare in Russia. Scientific novelty of the study: the authors suggest that the efficiency of the health care system depends on the state of such indicators of public health as life expectancy and healthy life expectancy. Life expectancy is an integrated demographic indicator that characterizes the number of years that a person would live on average, provided that the age-specific mortality rate of a generation would be at the level for which the indicator was calculated throughout life. The indicator ‘healthy life expectancy’ is formed by subtracting the number of years of unhealthy life (due to chronic diseases, disabilities, mental and behavioral disorders, etc.) from the life expectancy indicator. Results: the article presents an analysis of the current state of Russian healthcare based on statistical data provided by the Federal State Statistics Service, the World Health Organization, and world rankings. Attention is focused on the perceptions of Russians about the quality of medical services and Russian healthcare. Conclusions about the current state of health care in Russia are formulated by the authors, based on a secondary analysis of statistical data, as well as data from sociological research presented by leading Russian sociological centers.

Introduction. The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has had a strong impact on the socio-economic situation in the country, especially on demographic processes. The article analyzes the change in the mortality rates in Russian regions and assesses the influence of various factors on them during the pandemic. Materials and Methods. The paper examined data from the Federal State Statistics Service on mortality rates in Russian regions. Based on the graphs analyzed and regression equations built, the factors that determined the increase in mortality rates during the pandemic and the degree of their influence were identified. Results. Changes in the rates of morbidity and mortality in Russian regions depended on the development of the healthcare system, demographic, socio-economic, and geographical factors, as well as on the actions of regional and federal authorities. The geographical location of the regions turned out to be the determining factor. The highest mortality rates were found in the regions located in the center of the European part of Russia at the intersection of transport routes. In some months, high mortality rates were observed in the regions bordering China, Kazakhstan, and Finland. The proportion of pensioners and the degree of decline in personal income were also significant. Discussion and Conclusion. Calculations have shown that at the beginning of both waves of the pandemic, the increase in mortality rates depended on the provision of the population of the regions with doctors and hospital beds. In the spring, the restrictions imposed restrained the spread of the disease, but led to an economic recession and an increase in unemployment. In the autumn, less severe restrictions were introduced, which led to a significant increase in mortality rates and a slight decline in the economy. The research results can be used to optimize the managerial decisions in the field of medical and demographic policy.

In order to study the dynamics of indicators of the incidence of neurotic, stress-related and somatoform disorders in the rural population of Ukraine, an analysis of statistical data of reporting forms No. 10 “Report on diseases of persons with mental and behavioral disorders” reflecting the objectively taken into account the incidence of neurotic, stress-related and somatoform disorders for 2000 - 2017 years. The analysis revealed the main features of neurotic morbidity associated with stress and somatoform disorders in the rural population of Ukraine for the period from 2000 to 2017. Thus, the primary incidence rate of neurotic, stress-related and somatoform disorders in the rural population of Ukraine for the period from 2000 to 2017 decreased by 9.11% (from 45.0 per 100 thousand of the rural population in 2000 to 40, 9 per 100 thousand urban population in 2017). The overall incidence rate of neurotic, stress-related and somatoform disorders in the rural population of Ukraine tended to gradually increase, from 259.0 in 2000 to 313.3 per 100 thousand rural population in 2017. A significant proportion of neurotic, stress-related and somatoform disorders in the structure of the incidence of non-psychotic mental disorders and the identified regional features of the dynamics of the primary and general morbidity of neurotic, stress-related and somatoform disorders in the rural population of Ukraine should be taken into account when developing organizational measures to optimize the system of assistance and prevention rural mental health disorders.

The organization of work at the construction site is regulated by the calculated indicators of the consumption of fuel and energy resources. In the process of solving the problems of organizational and technological modeling, factors are determined that, to varying degrees, affect the reduction in the consumption of fuel and energy resources during construction and installation works. The purpose of the study is to determine the factors that affect the reduction of fuel and energy resources at the stage of organizational and technological design. We used the method of expert assessments, method of a simplified approach to average energy costs for individual types of consumers for a certain period of work, specific indicators of the consumption of certain types of resources in a wide range are used. When developing calendar plans and building master plans as part of the organizational and technological documentation, a methodology for summarizing and consolidating a number of indicators is used, most of which have no quantitative measurement. As the results, the variation coefficients are determined for the factors to ensure the activities of construction organizations in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency.

Abstract Background Recent years have seen unprecedented growth in international travel. Travellers are at high risk for acquiring infections while abroad and potentially bringing these infections back to their home country. There are many ways to mitigate this risk by seeking pre-travel advice (PTA), including receiving recommended vaccinations and chemoprophylaxis, however many travellers do not seek or adhere to PTA. We conducted a systematic review to further understand PTA-seeking behaviour with an ultimate aim to implement interventions that improve adherence to PTA and reduce morbidity and mortality in travellers. Methods We conducted a systematic review of published medical literature selecting studies that examined reasons for not seeking PTA and non-adherence to PTA over the last ten years. 4484 articles were screened of which 56 studies met our search criteria after full text review. Results The major reason for not seeking or non-adherence to PTA was perceived low risk of infection while travelling. Side effects played a significant role for lack of adherence specific to malaria prophylaxis. Conclusions These data may help clinicians and public health providers to better understand reasons for non-adherence to PTA and target interventions to improve travellers understanding of potential and modifiable risks. Additionally, we discuss specific recommendations to increase public health education that may enable travellers to seek PTA.

The article raises such an acute problem as the disproportionate change in population growth with rising inflation. The relevance of this problem cannot raise any questions. Sometimes people ask the question: “Why is there not enough money for food, although, relatively speaking, it was enough before?” The economy of our country is going through difficult times. The fall in world oil prices has an impact on the Russian ruble, which is especially important in connection with the latest developments in the world. These and other questions are devoted to issues related to the growth of the population of the Russian Federation, and the opportunity to buy them. The research base is the website of the Federal State Statistics Service, which should use personal observations and knowledge. In preparing the articles, methods of correlation analysis using group statistical data were applied and the regression model was built on their basis. The authors proposed ideas for solving global problems in the entire economic system of the Russian Federation.

The issues of optimizing regional pricing are especially acute for the Kaliningrad Region due to its exclave features. At the same time, the cost of energy resources has become one of the main issues in making managerial decisions. Recently, the so-called Technoparks have become one of the new forms of organizing the production process in a certain branch of industry, or a process that is at the junction of several branches. There are a variety of descriptions of the indisputable advantages of this work format for a specific technological process, however, the possibilities in the field of reducing the costs of consumed energy resources that arise with such a local siting of production are not discussed that often. According to the authors of the article, based on the structure of the tariff, it is possible to classify methods of reducing the cost price by the impact on the components of the final cost of energy supply services. It should be noted that the classification sign of saving methods will be precisely the component of the tariff, while the methods themselves can be aimed both at reducing the price expression of each component of the tariff and at the volume of services for this component. The authors have also identified regional features of the pricing processes in the energy industry.
