This study examines the problem of cultural patterns of character formation in the education system in Japan. How do cultural patterns that are practiced in the education system in Japan so as to provide access for the people to be able to manage the basic values of life that are considered noble as a guide and source of orientation for the character formation of students. The interesting here is that the Japanese nation in its acculturation process can harmonize modern values with traditional values that have been believed to be the noble values of the nation. There is a paradoxical cultural pattern, but it can synthesize the process of modernization of life on the basis of the value of conventional Japanese traditions. For other nations such as Indonesia, which are allied to Asian countries, they can view them as unique national cultural events. This study aims to uncover cultural practices and schooling in the education system in Japan that can synthesize modern values with the value of the traditions of the people, so that the Japanese become a developed nation and have strong character. That is, reviewing the facts of the development of the school program and its habituation in the practice of the family life of the students. Then analyze the structure and cultural values contained in each education program and the level of social life in Japanese society. The results of the study show that the education system in Japan prioritizes and respects adab and good behavior rather than values. Focusing on teaching adab to children in the lower classes is more important than testing academic skills. The basis of his view, that at the elementary school level, especially the first three years is not to assess knowledge but to build good behavior. Japanese students only get an exam after stepping on the fourth grade, even though they are only mild tests.

Balinese architecture often considers aspects of climate and natural conditions as well as environmental social life. This is to obtain a balance in the cosmos, between human life (bhuana alit / microcosm) and its natural environment (bhuana agung /macrocosm). However, Bali's progress in tourism has changed the way of life of the people, which is in line with Parsons Theory of Structural Functionalism, that if there is a change in the function of one part of an institution or structure in a social system, it will affect other parts, eventually affecting the condition of the social system as a whole. The shift in perspectives has caused structural and functional changes in Balinese architecture. The building design or architecture that emerges today is no longer oriented towards cosmic factors but is oriented towards modern factors, developing in the interests of tourism, commercialization, and lifestyle. The change has had an impact on spatial planning, building orientation, architectural appearance, interior furnishings and local regulations in architecture. In order to prevent Balinese architecture from losing its authenticity in its original form, which is full of spiritual meaning and local Balinese traditions, it is necessary to have a guideline on the specifications of Balinese architectural design that combines elements of aesthetics, comfort, technology, and spirituality. Through this guideline, Balinese architecture can exist in modern times without losing its traditional values.

Democracy can be understood as a mechanism for making decisions and as an ideal of social life. The defense of “polyarchy” that Robert Dahl provides in A Preface to Democratic Theory takes a negative position on both dimensions. It is not concerned with enabling “the people” to decide political outcomes, but rather with ensuring that no one has unchecked decision-making power. Nor is it concerned with developing people’s capacities to the fullest, but rather with harnessing their competitive energies so that no one can impose their will unilaterally on the whole. Ironically, the moral underpinnings of this approach lie in the Madisonian system that Dahl rejects. Like Madison, Dahl focuses on the republican aim of preventing the arbitrary exercise of power rather than the democratic aim of securing popular control over elected officials. Unlike Madison, Dahl argues that the success of this project depends on social rather than constitutional factors.

This means the health supports in which should place the government as the guarantor of the public health, but the people themselves that should pay for the health care. In the realization of the health support the are elements against the Syariah principles.
