This research on Manhaj Tafsir Fazlur Rahman aims to describe and describe the methods or approaches used by Fazlur Rahman in interpreting the Qur'an. This research was conducted through library research. The study is descriptive and analytical, that is, analytical in a historical and philosophical sense. Data concerning the methodological thinking of interpreting the Koran can be traced back to Rahman's writing (primary source). The research data is in the form of works by Fazlur Rahman in interpreting various Qur'an verses. Meanwhile, the data sources that will be explored in this paper are Rahman's interpretations, which are widely published in multiple books in Indonesia. The results of his research show that diversity in both the method (manhaj / tariqah), style (nau'), and approaches (alwan) used is something that cannot be avoided in a work of interpretation. Although interpretive works have appeared in modern times, their interpretation still follows classical and medieval patterns. For Fazrul Rahman, tafsir's essence is how an interpreter can create an authentic meaning (original meaning) from reading through the historical context of the past. He captures all moral aspects to contextualize meaning in the present with a new methodology.

The number of data sources available for academic research on retirement economics and policy has increased rapidly in the past two decades. Data quality and comparability across studies have also improved considerably, with survey questionnaires progressively converging towards common ways of eliciting the same measurable concepts. Probability-based Internet panels have become a more accepted and recognized tool to obtain research data, allowing for fast, flexible, and cost-effective data collection compared to more traditional modes such as in-person and phone interviews. In an era of big data, academic research has also increasingly been able to access administrative records (e.g., Kostøl and Mogstad, 2014; Cesarini et al., 2016), private-sector financial records (e.g., Gelman et al., 2014), and administrative data married with surveys (Ameriks et al., 2020), to answer questions that could not be successfully tackled otherwise.

The essential consideration is whether hermeneutics as an alternative approach can provide a dialogue between the texts and reality. This is library research, in which the data sources obtained through various written works, both in the form of books and journals. The study is descriptive qualitative that provides a clear picture and systematic about the methodology of Islamic legal thought Fazlur Rahman understandings.  To synchronize his background with interpretations, then used a normative theological approach, namely an approach that emphasizes form religious symbols originating from the Quran and sunnah text. The double movement hermeneutic theory is his effort in dialoguing between text and context. He appreciates history and adapts developments in every space and time. He tried to do a two-way movement. First, moving from the context of reality to the historical context of texts. Second, moving from the context of historical facts to the context of contemporary reality. Errors in interpreting text often occur due to the separation between the text from its context. In these circumstances, the double movement theory finds its relevance in making the Quran capable of dialogue with every dynamic that occurs. In this way, the text is always alive and as if it was revealed at this time. It contributes to the development of a paradigm of religious moderation. The double movement has strong historical roots in the science of the Quran, including asbab al-nuzul, makkiyah-madaniyah, and nasikh-mansukh.

Islam is a religion that gives mercy to all creation, a religion that teaches peace, safety and prosperity. In recent years, there have been many wicked individuals trying to destroy Islam. Unlike in the past where waging war on Islam were done only with swords, today's war against Islam is more powerful, that is by planting seeds of doubt in every Muslim's heart. Both in terms of aqidah (Creed) and Sharia (Islamic law). The current study is a library research. The main sources of this research data were taken from the kutub al sittah (the authentic six): Ṣaḥīḥ Bukhārī, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Sunan Abī Dāwūd, Sunan al-Nasāʾi, Sunan al-Tirmidhi, and Sunan Ibn Mājah. Meanwhile, the secondary sources were taken from the takhrij and shurūḥ al-hadīth books. The conclusion of the current study reveals that the death penalty for those who turn back from Islam or apostates can be applied if they meet two conditions: 1) Leaving Islam either by word or deed; 2) Committing criminal acts, such as: dividing Muslims, creating chaos, damage, disobeying the state, and helping the enemy in fighting the Muslims. The author concludes that neither the verses in the Qur'an nor the hadiths of the Prophet PBUH immediately order the killing of a person who turns back from Islam, unless that person commits insubordination, is in league with the enemy and other similar things.

From the sociological-historical perspective, this article deals with questioning the adequacy of frequently appearing nationalistic standpoints about the continuous, centuries-old maintaining of ethnoreligious boundaries, often set by emphasizing important symbols of collective identity, whose social function is reflected in creating everlasting, sturdy and unquestionable differences between nations. This problem has been investigated by studying the symbolism of St. Sava in cases of Serbo-Croatian, Serbo-Bosniac and Serbo-Montenegrin ethnoreligious dichotomization. By applying the combination of ethno-symbolist and interactionist approaches to the phenomena of nation and nationalism, this article compares the premodern and modern historical context of this process in the mentioned cases. As opposed to the aforementioned nationalistic beliefs, the results of the study have shown that St. Sava could have become a prominent symbol of ethnoreligious division only in modern times, precisely by means of nationalistic instrumentalisation. Namely, sociohistorical conditions of the premodern era, where ethnic identity did not have the same role and strength often ascribed to it today, initiated the birth of different attitudes towards this saint by various groups and individuals, at the same time displaying the permeability and the unstable character of ethnic boundaries in the past.

This study has two purposes, both are: 1) To describe Al-Kindi's thoughts about the harmony between philosophy and religion, and the theory of divine philosophy. 2) To describe Al-Farabi's thoughts about the theory of emanation, and the theory of divinity. This research is using a qualitative method which its study focused on library research. Data sources used in this research are the works related to the two figures as well as other philosophical thought books. The results obtained from this study are; First, according to Al-Kindi, philosophy and religion make no difference because both are equally knowledgeable about truth. The function of philosophy is not to sue the truth of revelation, to demand superiority or to demand equality with revelation. Philosophy does not make a claim as the highest way to reach the truth and want to humble itself as a support for revelation. God theory according to him God is a form that actually does not come from nothing into existence, not preceded by other forms, could not be divided and there are no other substances that equal Him. Secondly, Al-Farabi about the emanations theory explained that God exists for the sake of His self. Through this research, it is expected to provide an understanding of the community about Muslim philosophy and its thoughts.
