This study investigates text readability level investigation about biology subjects-related units in 'Science 7 Textbook'. A document analysis method was used in this study based on a qualitative research approach. The textbook, which has been used since the 2019-2020 academic year, has been selected as the study material. In the textbook, a total of 15 texts were randomly determined from two units related to biology subjects, one for each of the learning outcomes specified in the 2018 Science Course Curriculum. In calculating the readability levels of the texts, the 'Ateşman Readability Formula' was used. The findings obtained as a result of the analysis showed that the overall readability levels of the texts in both units were in the 'medium difficulty' category. Furthermore, when the findings of each unit were examined on a subject basis, it was determined that the texts belonging to all of the topics included in both units (Cell and Divisions, Reproduction, Growth and Development in Living Beings) were found in the 'medium' category. These findings were interpreted as the science textbook prepared for the seventh grade for the student level in terms of readability.

The aim of this study is to examine the readability levels of the texts on the biology units in the science textbook prepared for the sixth grade. This study, which is based on a qualitative approach, was carried out with the method of document analysis. The textbook examined in the study is Middle School and Imam Hatip Middle School Science Textbook 6, which has been used since the 2018-2019 academic year. Regarding biology topics, the textbook includes in two units (Unit-1: Our Body Systems, Unit 2: Our Body Systems and Health). In the study, the learning outcomes of the units were taken as a basis in the selection of the texts to be analyzed in the textbook. In the study, a total of 22 texts were randomly selected by taking into account the learning outcomes in the curriculum. In addition, it has been paid attention that each text contains at least 100 words. Ateşman readability formula was used to determine the readability levels of the selected texts. According to the findings obtained as a result of the analysis, it was determined that the readability level of the texts for unit-2 was medium, while the readability level of the texts for unit-6 was found to be difficult. In the light of the findings, suggestions were made that the textbooks should be prepared in accordance with the student level in terms of readability and that texts consisting of simpler and shorter sentences should be used more.

Learning without students’ center tends to create less passionate students in following the lecture. They tend to ignore their lecturer. They have less attention, and try to create ineffective conditions, therefore, the learning atmosphere will become less effective to achieve the intended goals.  The purpose of the research is to determine the process of learning, the implementation of High Touch approach, and factors that influence its implementation. Classroom action research approach was used at  department of mathematics which involve students who enroll at academic year 2016/2017 IAIN Bukittinggi. The research was done in two cycles in which one cycle conducted three meetings. The instruments used were observation, essay questions, and tasks given to students. The results show that there is an improvement in students’ participation and activeness in learning when their lecturer builds learning experience through reinforcement, affection, guide, directive action, and good modeling by student–center andself-learning activities, and independent learning skill orientations showed in cycle I and II. It implies that implementing high touch may lead students to be more active, creative, and fun in learning.

Independence refers to the belief in the ability of oneself to solve problems without special assistance from others, reluctance to be controlled by others, can carry out their own activities and solve problems themselves. While the learning outcomes are changes in individual behavior that includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The researcher took class VIII MBI of MTs Mambaul Falah and showed the mathematic value of students exceeding KKM. This study was used to determine whether there is a correlation between the level of independence of learning and the learning outcomes of mathematics. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a type of correlation. Based on the results of the study, the rtable value at ? = 5% and db = 15 is 0.514 so that rcount<rtable (0.279 <0.514) then the null hypothesis is accepted and the alternative hypothesis is rejected, the value is 0.279 and is located at 0.20-0.40 which indicates low interpretation. Keywords: learning independence, learning outcomes

Readability are all elements that exist in the text (including the interaction between text) that affect the success of the reader in understanding the material they read on the speed reading is optimal. Measure the readability of a discourse needs to be done by educators to the material presented on target. There are many ways to measure the readability level of discourse, one formula Fry Graph. Fry Graph formula is quite popular because the procedure is easy. Curriculum 2013, the government issued textbooks thematic. This study aims to determine the readability level of discourse using the formula Fru Graph in this thematic books, especially books Elementary School 4th grade thematic themes ”Indahnya Kebersamaan” and “Selalu Menghemat Energi”. This study is a descriptive analysis method, namely: based on readability formulas introduced by Edward Fry, who became known as "Fry Graph". Fry suggests that the main factor affecting the readability of a discourse or book there are two things, namely the length of the short sentence and word, difficulty level is also characterized by the number of syllables that make up each word in the discourse. Based on these results take the number of discourses that were sampled were 14 themes for “Indahnya Kebersamaan” and 10 pieces for the theme “Selalu Berhemat Energi. The discourse is measured based on the steps of the Fry graph readability formula. The results using Fry graphs readability formula to conclude that the book theme package “Indahnya Kebersamaan” more suitable for level 7, 8, and 9. While on the theme”Selalu Berhemat Energi” more suitable for level 1, 2, and 3.

The credit landscape in commercial private finance is fast evolving as available funds continue to chase for enhanced returns, for optimised risk acceptance. On the other hand, developing countries, and economies in transition continue to grapple with factors such as public debt, widening fiscal gaps often exacerbated by persistent budget deficits. As a result, governments prioritise provisioning of critical public goods, which then leaves a gap in the financing of less urgent, yet developmentally important investments. This gap is often left to state-owned Development Finance Institutions, or DFIs to fill (UNCTAD, 2019), yet success for these institutions has been generally dismissed (Xu, Ren, & Wu, 2019). This paper appraises the continuing importance of DFIs and analyses factors that drive their sustainability, with the state ownership dynamic in mind. A secondary research approach is taken, predominantly applying the document analysis method, i.e., extant literature from reputable sources on the subjects of state-owned enterprises, development finance, profitability of financial institutions, and firm financial structure. The paper concludes that DFIs are still relevant, and that the type and cost of carefully blended capital available to them is a fundamental determinant of effectiveness in the context of the two-pronged objectives SOEs are known to have. A practical framework by which this can be achieved is proposed.

In this research, descriptive research approach is used because it is aimed to determine the problems of education in terms of teachers' perspective. The study group of the study consisted of 101 teachers, of whom 61 were female and 40 were male, working in Unye district of Ordu province in the academic year of 2018-2019. The study group was determined by means of easy-to-reach sampling from purposeful sampling methods. In the study, open-ended questions were used as data collection tools. Qualitative data collected in this study were analyzed by inductive content analysis method. In addition, while analyzing the data obtained and reporting the results, quantification (digitization) was made. The findings were discussed as teachers, schools, students, parents and management. According to the results of the research, teachers experienced many problems due to the teacher, school, student, parent and management, some of these problems were deeply rooted, some were temporary or local. It is understood that some problems that cannot be solved cause problems in time and cause problems to become chronic. As a result, the problems that disrupt the educational process should be solved by the authorities with solution-oriented approaches.
