Stunting has become a major problem in developing countries. The government has formulated various strategies to decrease the stunting prevalence in Indonesia. However, the number of programs to be implemented on the school aged children is scarce. Stunting in the school age can affect the productivity, motor development, and vulnerability from communicable diseases. The purpose of this study was to identify journals related to the nutrition education in preventing stunting in elementary schools. The study was a systematic review about nutrition education to prevent stunting in elementary school. There were 5 articles analyzed from the result of Google Scholar search, published from 2018 to 2020. The review focused on the type of intervention, goal, and effectiveness of the intervention. The result of the study showed that nutrition education could improve a short term knowledge. However, it had not been able to change the behavior and practice of healthy dietary habit. Nutrition education given to the teachers could improve their skills in assessing student nutritional status, thus an early detection can be administered well. A more comprehensive intervention, besides nutrition education, in preventing stunting in elementary school is needed.

Purpose : The purpose of this research was to know the reasons or causes of lack or absence of Christian Education teachers Design/methodology/approach : The method used in this research was explorative-descriptive case study. Case study procedure in this research had four stages: description (observing/studying), analysis (trying to understand), interpretation (interpretation of data), and action (action plan based on the result of research data). Findings : the main obstacle to procurement of Christian Education teachers as Non-Permanent Teachers was lack or absence of budget Research limitations/implications : This study was limited to the number of Christian students. Interview means that the researcher asked questions to school administrators to obtain information according to research variables. To complete the information required, the researcher observed on the implementation of Christian Education at Public Elementary School in Sub-district of Candisari, Semarang. Practical implications : First, in Sub-district of Candisari there were 37 Public Elementary Schools. Thirty-six schools had Christian students. There were only six Christian Education teachers who teaching Christian Education at 16 schools. Six Christian Education teachers for 16 schools, mean 43% of schools had teachers who teaching Christian Education. That mean 57% or 20 Public Elementary Schools in Sub-district of Candisari had no Christian Education teachers. Originality/value : the Government or the school administrators were less concerned with the implementation of Christian Education, then the church (Christian community) must be willing to assume the responsibility by sending and financing Christian Education teachers to schools that did not have Christian Education teachers yet

Teaching Gorontalo language is one of the Gorontalo government efforts to maintain Gorontalo culture. It has been being taught in elementary schools for years and continuously becomes the government concern. In the previous research (Husain, Bay and Mamu, 2017), the result of questionnaire generally indicated that the textbook used in teaching Gorontalo language was not colorful and attractive and the content was too monotonous. Additionally, certain teachers did not even use any textbook to teach and just tried to browse material on the internet. This research intends to create a textbook that will be used for teaching Gorontalo language in elementary schools based on the syllabus produced in the first year of research. Syllabus and textbook are created by adapting English for Young Learners (EYL) learning strategy. The content focuses on traditional musical instruments, traditional songs, traditional games and traditional dances and is introduced simply and nicely to the students as in EYL learning strategy. The students will have two benefits; they can learn Gorontalo language and its cultures at the same time. The research applies the Research and Development Method (Sugiyono, 2014, p. 297) to create the textbook of Gorontalo language with five main steps namely (1) creating the textbook; (2) validating the textbook; (3) textbook trial in elementary school; (4) Evaluating the textbook; (5) producing the textbook. Textbook as the research output is expected to provide a new sight of Gorontalo language learning for both teachers and students by adjusting EYL learning strategy to sustain Gorontalo culture.

Game-based learning is gaining popularity in elementary schools in Thailand. The use of games to teach nutrition education in elementary schools in Thailand is relatively rare. The teaching of nutrition education in the elementary school classrooms in Thailand is predominantly book-based. It can be dry and boring. Therefore, an educational card game called Food Mission is developed to teach elementary school students basic nutrition concepts. This paper explores the perceptions of educational experts, postgraduate students, an elementary science teacher and Grade 6students’ responses towards Food Mission educational card game in teaching nutrition education in the classroom. The research participants were two educational experts, eleven postgraduate students, one elementary science teacher and 45 Grade 6 students from a private school in Samut Sakorn Province, Thailand. A pilot study was carried out with seven elementary school students in a home setting prior to the classroom implementation to test the game playability. Interview data was transcribed verbatim. Participants test played the Food Mission card game and found that the educational card game was engaging and fun to play. Elementary school students enjoyed the card game and acquired new vocabulary and basic knowledge about nutrition. This paper discusses the genesis of Food Mission card game and provides guidelines for further modifications of the card game to help elementary students learn basic nutrition concepts.

Scabies infestation increases the incidence of secondary pyoderma include impetigo, folliculitis, cellulitis, ecthyma, abscess. Secondary pyoderma is a skin infection disease mainly caused by     group A Streptococcus (GAS) and Staphylococcus aureus (SA). Pyoderma is a risk factor for the glomerulonephritis infection, rheumatic diseases, which significantly increases morbidity and mortality, causing the government burden. The aim of this study is  determining the etiology and correlation of pyoderma infection in scabies patient. To determine sosio-demographic included sex, age in pediatric patients in primary schools (SD) in the district of Kertapati Palembang. The study design was cross sectional, and study samples were new scabies patients in the elementary school (age 6-14-year-old) with or without pyoderma. Clinical findings included history, physical examination and diagnostic procedure, which was investigation of skin scraping specimen material (SSB = skin surface biopsy) in confirmation with dermoscopic polar examination (DS) to show Sarcoptes scabiei mites. Microbiological examination with Gram stain identified the etiology of pyoderma.  Results of this study shows that there was a significance relationship between scabies infestation and pyoderma in children in elementary school. Staphylococcus aureus dan GAS are the most common caused of pyoderma in pediatric patients with scabies. Conclusion is there is a significant correlation between scabies and pyoderma. There is  a need to provide scabies and pyoderma medication at primary care health center as well as counseling for prevention in Palembang area with crowded population periodically.
