The article focuses on the structure and the dynamics of partial functions of visual skills (visual segmentation – visual differentiation of the figure/background, visual differentiation of shapes and visual memory) children during their last year at nursery school and their first two years of school attendance as a part of the research project of the Faculty of Education, Palacký University Olomouc. The stimulus material of the investigation was made up of diagnostic and reeducation instruments by Viennese professor B. Sindelar. The Sindelar’s instrument has no norms, the aim of the investigation was to determine the median values of the performances in the aforementioned areas of visual perception of children and thus to determine the dynamics of the development of these functions in the intact population. The research sample consisted of children from pupils of Moravian and Prague schools – the last year of kindergarten and the first two years of elementary school, it was a deliberate and institutional sample selection. Since the survey had a quantitative design, a statistical procedure was used to analyze the collected data (median value, statistically significant difference between respondent groups was determined by the Mann–Whitney test). The results of the investigation were demonstrated by a table and a graph for each subtest.

The article provides insight into the procedural aspect and theoretical framework of investigating the factors, which influence educability and school success/failure rate in children in a research project of the Faculty of Education, Palacký University in Olomouc. The article focuses on the structure and dynamics of the function of body scheme orientation and on partial functions of an intermodal nature in children during their last year at nursery school and their first two years of primary school.

The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence of the effects of the Loan to Value (LTV) policy on the financial performance of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample selection uses a purposive sampling method of 42 property and real estate companies that meet the criteria. The research period is divided into 2 namely before the Loan to Value policy (2013-2014) and after the Loan to Value policy (2016-2017) with the Paired Sample t Test analysis technique. The test results show if the current ratio, Return on Asset, Return on Equity and Debt to Asset have significant differences between before and after the LTV policy is applied. While the fast ratio, cash ratio, net profit margin and Debt to Equity did not show a significant difference. The study aimed to examine the levels of aggression and violence of students and other professional groups who are Düzcespor football fans. For the research model, the survey model, one of the quantitative research types, was chosen. The study's data collection process was carried out during the 2019-2020 season of the Turkey Football Federation, and the population of the study consisted of Düzcespor fans between the ages of 12-68. The sample of the study, on the other hand, consists of 498 people who voluntarily participated in the study using the random sample selection technique. As a result of normality tests (Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro Wilk), it was determined that the scores obtained from the scales did not show a normal distribution. For this reason, non-parametric tests Mann Whitney-U Test, Kruskal Wallis Test, and Bonferroni Test, one of the Post Hoc tests, were used to determine which group caused the significant difference between the groups as a result of the analysis. Frequency, percentage, minimum, maximum, average, and standard deviation values were also used to analyze the data. The level of significance was determined as p < 0.05. The study's findings showed that Düzcespor supporters had moderate aggression and violent behaviors. There was a significant difference between the variables of gender, age, education level, occupation and income, and aggression and violent behavior. The study results revealed that aggression and tendency to violence are higher in males, younger people, high school students and people with low income.

Aim of this study is to examine problematic usage of mobile phone in the context of big five personality among university students. 103 male and 182 female, totally 285 university students who were from different Departments of Faculty of Education composed participants of the study in the spring period 2015-2016 academic year. Problematic mobile phone usage scale (PMPUS) and Quick Big Five Personality Test (QBFPT) were applied to 285 students, who were participants of the study. To analyse these data, Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient, Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficients, skewness, kurtosis, t test, and multiple regression were used. According to results obtained from the study, there was no significant difference between male and female in relation to problematic usage of mobile phone. Furthermore, agreeableness, extraversion, and openness to experience didn’t statistically predict to problematic usage of mobile phone, but conscientiousness and emotional stability statistically did. Discussion and some suggestions have been made based on the findings. ÖzetBu araştırmanın amacı üniversite öğrencilerinin cep telefonlarını problemli kullanma davranışlarını beş büyük kişilik bağlamında incelemektir. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını 2015-2016 Eğitim-Öğretim sezonunun bahar döneminde Eğitim Fakültesi’nde öğrenim görmekte olan 103’ü erkek, 182’si kadın olan toplamda 285 üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarına üniversite öğrencileri için problemli cep telefonu kullanım ölçeği (PCTKÖ) ve hızlı büyük beşli kişilik testi (HBBKT) uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde Pearson Korelasyon Katsayısı, iç tutarlılığa ilişkin güvenirlik katsayısını hesaplamak için Cronbach Alpha katsayıları, basıklık ve çarpıklık değerleri, cep telefonunun problemli kullanımının cinsiyete göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını belirlemek için t testi ve son olarak da beş kişilik faktörünün cep telefonunun problemli kullanımını yordayıp yordamadığına ilişkin çoklu regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuca göre, cep telefonunun problemli kullanımı cinsiyete göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılığın olmadığı bulunmuştur. Ayrıca uyumluluk, dışadönüklük ve deneyime açıklık kişilik faktörlerinin cep telefonunun problemli kullanımını istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir şekilde yordamadığı; ancak duygusal denge ve sorumluluk kişilik faktörlerinin istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir şekilde yordadığı belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara dayalı olarak önerilerde bulunulmuş ve tartışılmıştır.

This study aims to measure the accuracy of technical analysis using the Bollinger Band indicator in predicting stock prices in the middle of pandemic covid-19. The concept in this study is to compare daily stock price predictions according to technical indicators with the closing prices that occured on that day. Sample selection technique used in this research used a purposive sampling method and obtained 9 pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the IDX from February to April 2020. The type of data used is a chart of the company's daily stock price movements obtained from finance.yahoo.com. The data analysis technique used was the paired sample t-test and used the SPSS 26 analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that the Bollinger indicator does not have a significant difference. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur keakuratan analisis teknikal dengan indikator Bollinger Band dalam memprediksi harga saham pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Konsep pada penelitian ini adalah membandingkan prediksi harga saham harian menurut indikator teknikal dengan harga penutupan yang terjadi pada hari tersebut. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan diperoleh sebanyak 9 perusahaan sub sektor farmasi yang terdaftar di BEI selama Februari hingga April 2020. Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu berupa grafik pergerakan harga saham harian perusahaan yang diperoleh dari finance.yahoo.com. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji independent sample t-test dan menggunakan alat analisis program SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa indikator Bollinger tidak memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan.

In this study, it was aimed to investigate exercise dependencies according to perceived health levels from participation in recreational activities. In the study, the “Exercise Addiction Scale” developed by Tekkurşun-Demir, Hazar and Cicioğlu (2018) and “The Scale of Perceived Health Outcomes in Recreation” developed by Gómez et al. (2016) and adapted to Turkish by Yerlisu-Lapa et al. (2017) were used. Convenience sampling method was used for sample selection, and face-to-face survey method was preferred for data collection. Independent Sample t-test and One-way ANOVA were used in examining the differences between variables and descriptive analysis were conducted by using the SPSS package program. In addition, Hierarchical and Non-Hierarchical Clustering analysis was used to group the participants according to perceived health outcome levels. A total of 241, including 114 male (47.3%) and 127 female (52.7%), who participated in the activities within the Sport Istanbul Inc., participated in the study voluntarily. When the findings of the research were examined, it was determined that there was a statistically significant difference in the “Over Focus and Emotional Change” sub-dimensions of exercise dependence according to the perceived health level. As a result, it was found that individuals with high health perception had a higher level of over-focus and emotional change than those with low health perception.

The aim of this study is to examine teacher candidates&rsquo; perceptions of their own proficiency in using information and communication technologies and their attitudes towards information and communication technologies in terms of gender, major, internet usage frequency and computer ownership. The study group consists of 336 teacher candidates, 98 male (29%) and 238 female (71%) senior students, in different departments at Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Education during the 2017-2018 academic year. The &ldquo;Proficiency Perception Scale for Using Information and Communication Technologies&rdquo; and &ldquo;The Attitude Scale for Information and Communication Technologies&rdquo; developed by different researchers were administered to the candidate teachers. As a result of the findings obtained from the research, there was no significant difference between proficiency levels of the teacher candidates regarding the use of information and communication technologies. Besides, there was not significant difference between the means of attitude towards information and communication technologies in terms of majors and the internet usage frequency, and between the mean proficiency perception scores of using information and communication technologies with regard to gender. It was ascertained that there was a slightly meaningful difference between the attitudes scores for information and communication technologies in favor of males in terms of gender, and as to computer ownership, there was a low level of difference between both attitude and perception scores in favor of computer owners. The findings are discussed within the scope of literature.

Organizational commitment is considered an essential concept for ensuring work and staff motivation in a higher education setting. Therefore, this study aimed to assess the staffs’ degree of organizational commitment to the Faculty of Education, University of Khartoum. To investigate research questions, a survey questionnaire was conducted. Among 239 respondents, 106 staff members were surveyed (44.00%). The results indicated that the degree of staff affective, continuance, and normative commitment in the Faculty of Education, University of Khartoum, was high. This study also confirmed that the aggregate degree of organizational commitment among staff members in the Faculty of Education, University of Khartoum, was high. The study revealed no statistically significant difference in the degree of organizational commitment due to gender and academic rank variables. The study also found a statistically significant difference in affective and normative commitment in the degree of organizational commitment related to years of service. The study recommended improving the worldly position of the staff member to maintain a high degree of responsibility at the University of Khartoum.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to identify whether there are differences in self-regulation of emotion skills of male and female students. This study is a comparative study with a sample of 796 students (452 males, 344 females). The sample selection is taken using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is the scale of self-regulation of emotion. Data analysis used to identify differences in self-regulation of emotion skills of male and female students is independent samples test. The findings of the study indicate that there is a significant difference between the self-regulation of emotion skills of male and female students. This study recommends counseling service to improve self-regulation of emotion skills.Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi apakah terdapat perbedaan self-regulation of emotion antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian komparatif dengan sampel 796 siswa (452 laki-laki, 344 perempuan). Pemilihan sampel diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala self-regulation of emotion. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan self-regulation of emotion siswa laki-laki dan perempuan adalah independent samples test. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara self-regulation of emotion siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Studi ini merekomendasikan layanan konseling untuk meningkatkan self-regulation of emotion siswa.

The 21st-century skills are considered to be needed by individuals in a changing world. The aim of this research study is to determine whether or not the self-efficacy perceptions of students enrolled in the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Literature, and the Faculty of Nursing (health) pertaining to the 21st-century skills cause any difference among the faculties. The population of the research is comprise of 1,056 students, 841 females and 215 males, at Ege University during the fall semester of the 2018-2019 academic year. “21st Century Skills Self-efficacy Perception” scale, which has 3 subdimensions such as “Learning and Renewal (LR) Skills,” “Life and Career (LC) Skills,” and “Information, Media and Technology (IMT) Skills,” is utilized in the study. The research study is designed in accordance with the causal-comparative model. In the data analysis, independent groups t-test is performed to detect differences in terms of gender, whereas the one-way analysis of variance) techniques are conducted to detect differences in terms of faculties. The margin of error is determined as .05 in the study. No significant difference is detected in the LR skills of university students in terms of the gender variable. It is found that a significant difference exists according to gender in the subdimension of LC skills. No significant difference is observed according to gender variable in the subdimension of IMT skills of university students. According to this result, the LC skills of female students are detected to be higher than that of male students. It is observed that the LR skills of the students in the faculty of education are higher than that of the students in the faculty of health sciences. It is determined that a significant difference exists in the LC skills of university students according to the faculty of education variable. It is determined that the LC skills of the students in both the faculties of education and literature are higher than that of the students in the faculty of health sciences. Furthermore, it is determined that the IMT skills of the students in the faculty of education and the faculty of literature are higher than that of the students in the faculty of health sciences.
