Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between academic motivation and the role of parents during the distance learning/pandemic period in grade 7 at SMPN 23 Malang City. This type of research is a correlation. The population of this study was all students of SMP Negeri 23 Malang with a sampling technique using purposive random sampling with a sample of 144 students. The study results illustrate that there is a significant relationship between the role of parents and academic motivation at SMPN 23 Malang. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi akademik dengan peran orangtua pada masa pembelajaran jarak jauh/masa pandemi di kelas 7 di SMPN 23 Kota Malang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 23 Malang dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive random sampling. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 144 siswa. Hasil penelitian memberikan gambaran bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara peran orang tua dengan motivasi akademik di SMPN 23 Malang.

SMAN 5 Jember is a school that has received the Adiwiyata program predicate. Based on the phenomenon, students who have environmental knowledge do not necessarily have attitudes and behaviors that care about the environment. This is not in line with the school's goal of maintaining the status of a Adiwiyata school. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between environmental knowledge and environmental care and environmental care behavior among students of SMAN 5 Jember in the 2018-2019 academic year. This study uses a nonexperimental correlational quantitative approach using the ex post facto method. The population in this study were students of class X and XI, amounting to 480 students. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used Kendall's Tau Correlation. Based on the results of the research on the relationship between environmental knowledge and environmental care attitudes in students of SMAN 5 Jember, the results obtained were 0.000 < 0.05 so that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected, meaning that there was a significant relationship. The relationship between environmental knowledge and environmental care behavior results in 0.532> 0.05 so that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that there is no significant relationship. Keywords: Adiwiyata, Knowledge, Attitude, and Behavior   SMAN 5 Jember merupakan sekolah yang mendapatkan predikat program Adiwiyata. Berdasarkan fenomena siswa yang memiliki pengetahuan lingkungan belum tentu memiliki sikap dan perilaku peduli lingkungan. Hal ini tidak selaras dengan tujuan sekolah mempertahankan status sekolah Adiwiyata. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan lingkungan dengan sikap peduli lingkungan dan perilaku peduli lingkungan pada siswa SMAN 5 Jember tahun pelajaran 2018-2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional non eksperimental menggunakan metode ex post facto. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X dan XIyang berjumlah 480 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik sampling proportionate stratified random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan Kendall’s Tau Correlation. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian hubungan pengetahuan lingkungan dengan sikap peduli lingkungan pada siswa SMAN 5 Jember diperoleh hasil 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak artinya ada hubungan yang signifikan. Hubungan pengetahuan lingkungan dengan perilaku peduli lingkungan diperoleh hasil 0,532 > 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak artinya tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan. Adolescence is a unique time in the phase of teenage life, where a person who has entered adolescence has a unique characteristic. With these distinctive characters, teenagers are required to be able to adjust well to the surrounding individuals. However, not all teenagers have a good adjustment. This has become one of the obstacles in the lives of teenagers to lead a healthy life. One other obstacle is the problem of emotional maturity, because there are still many teenagers who do not have good emotional maturity. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and adjustment at SMPN 19 Surabaya. The study population was all students of class VIII, totaling 261 people and a sample of 106 students. The sampling technique used in this study is non random sampling with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires arranged on a Likert scale. The study showed very significant results, where the value of r = 0.809 with p = 0.000 (p <0.010). This means that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. Emotional maturity has a very significant relationship with adapting to adolescents at SMPN 19 Surabaya

The purpose this study was to determine the relationship between secure attachment with achievement motivation,  the relationship between autonomy with achievement motivation, and the relationship between secure attachment and autonomy with achievement motivation in adolescents students. The population of this research was students of class X, XI and XII Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Tebing Tinggi. The sample was 103 students were take by stratified random sampling technique. This study used secure attachment scale, autonomy scale, and achievement motivation scale. Double regression analysis showed FCOUNT  33, 482 with  p = 0,000 (p0,005). The result indicate that there was significant correlation between secure attachment and autonomy with achievement. Patrially, there is a significant relationship secure attachment with achievement rxy = 0,365 with  p 0,01 and there is a significant relationship between autonomy with achievement motivation  rxy = 0,361 with  p 0,01. R2 square value was 0, 527 it means that secure attachment and autonomy simultaneously contribute 52,7% toward achievement motivation.

Descriptively, the purpose of this research is to know the tendency of creativity, numerical ability, the students’attitude in mathematics and achievement of the students. Correlatively, the purpose is to determine the relationship between creativity, numerical ability, the students’attitude in mathematics with the achievement matematics of the students. The population of this study was all students of VIII of Junior High School in Pundong district on 2013/2014 academic year. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The results of this descriptive study showed that the tendency category of creativity in medium, numerical ability in high, the students’attitude in mathematics in medium and achievement of the students in high. Correlatively, it show R=0,899 its means that there is positive and significant relationship between creativity, numerical ability and the students’attitude in mathematics  with the achievement matematics of the students.

Many violence cases as brawls and fights whose committed by juveniles were caused by many factors. This study aimed to find out the relationship between the intensity of watching violence on television with aggressiveness tendencies in adolescents. This study used a quantitative correlation approach that using the intensity watching violence on television as an independent variable (X) and the tendency of aggressiveness as the dependent variable (Y). The sampling technique used random sampling to 69 students of class IX in MTs Negeri 1 Bangil. Measurement of variables used both of two psychologycal scales that constructed by researchers, namely the intensity of watching violence on television scale and aggressiveness tendency scale. Correlation technique of product moment from Pearson was used to analyze data which of calculation helped by SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The result showed that (r) = 0.404; ρ = 0.001 < ρ = 0.01. It means, there is a significant relationship and positive, the higher of the intensity of watching violence on television, the higher of the aggressiveness tendencies in adolescents and vice versa.

HIV is a virus that attacks the human immune system and if the condition gets worse and results in various complications, the disease will cause AIDS or Aquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. Adolescent behavior at this time tends to be at risk with promiscuity everywhere so as to increase the incidence of HIV/AIDS for adolescents. The purpose of the research actually for determine the relationship between the role of parents and information media with HIV/AIDS prevention behavior for adolescents at SMAN 75 Jakarta. The type of research is quantitative with cross sectional research design and analyzed by Chi-Square Test. This research conducted in March to June 2020 at SMAN 75 Jakarta involving as of 154 respondents, and the sampling using a random sampling technique. The statistical test results using Chi-Square stated that a significant relationship between the role of parents and information media. (p = 0.007). On the information media with HIV / Aids prevention behavior showed a significant relationship (p = 0,000). It is recommended to students, schools and parents to work together in efforts for prevention of HIV/AIDS.

The Relationship

This research examined the role of the headmaster and pedagogical competences of teacher in Vocational School and also to see the relationship between the two variables. The populations in this research were 72 teacher and 40 samples using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The research used likert scale as instrument. A score of variable leadership of headmaster was 0,907 and pedagogical score of teachers competence was, 897, which mean the instrument was reliable. The data was analyzed by product moment correlation, r score = .33 > = .284 believed r table standard 95%. Research found that there are relationships between the roles of headmaster with the pedagogy competencies of teacher in Vocational School.

This study aims to determine: the significance of the relationship between the use of chemical laboratory facilities and student chemistry learning achievements; and the significance of the discipline of learning chemistry students with chemistry learning achievements. The populations in this study were students of class XII Science in SMA N 1 Sorong. A total of 97 students were taken using the Proportionate Random Sampling technique. The data collection methods used were questionnaires and documentation studies. The results showed that: 1) there was no positive and significant relationship between the use of chemical laboratory facilities and student chemistry learning achievements; and 2) there is no positive and significant relationship between the discipline of chemistry learning students and students' chemistry learning achievement.

<p>Adolescent begins with puberty, that time of the occurrence of physical changes include and physiological functions such as the maturity of the sexual organs. The role of parents is very important to educate, supervise, give an idea how to solve the problem with being a role model and set a good example for adolescent, but it is rarely done by parents because of the background of the parents and the busyness of parents. The purpose of this study was to knowing relationship between role of parents with pre-marital behavior of adolescent in SMKN 1 Sedayu. This study was inductive quantitative using cross sectional design. Samples were students of class XII SMKN 1 Sedayu with 78 respondents. Sampling used simple random technique. Analyze used Kendal Tau. Kendal Tau analysis showed significant relationship between role of parents with pre-marital behavior in SMKN 1 Sedayu with p=0.000 (p&lt;0.05) with the relationship weak r=0.399. In conclusion, there was a significant relationship between the roles of parents with pre-marital sexual behavior of adolescent in SMKN 1 Sedayu.</p>

ABSTRACT  This research was motivated by the low self-confidence development of children aged 6-7 years in Anak Air, Batipuh Panjang Village, Padang City. It is suspected that the cause of the child's low self-confidence is partly due to the inappropriate application of parenting methods. This study aims to: 1) describe the parenting methods applied by parents to children; 2) describes the self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years; and 3) looking at the relationship between parenting methods and the self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years in Anak Air, Batipuh Panjang Village, Padang City.This research is a correlational quantitative research. The population in this study were children aged 6-7 years and their mothers as many as 50 people with a sample of 75%, namely 38 people with simple random sampling technique. The data technique used a questionnaire and a check for the observation of children's self-confidence development, the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and formula-data-moment.The results of this study indicate: 1) the parenting methods applied by parents to children aged 6-7 years are still inaccurate and inconsistent; 2) the development of self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years is still low; and 3) there is a significant relationship between parenting methods and the development of self-confidence of children aged 6-7 years in Anak Air, Batipuh Panjang Village, Padang City. Research suggestions are: 1) it is hoped that parents in Anak Air Kelurahan Batipuh Panjang Padang City can pay attention to and apply the application of parenting methods to children so that they can contribute to the development of children's self-confidence as expected; and 2) it is hoped that further researchers can find or examine other variables that affect the development of children's self-confidence. Keywords: self-confidence, parenting methods, family education
