<p>"Modular design" is a kind of design mode that not only can made clothing more interesting, makes the wearer can participate in choices, increase the possibility of clothing style .but also can extend the service cycle of clothing. In this "fast fashion" run market, the design idea of modular design can be a breakthrough point, help us find the way to balance the low-carbon and environmentally-friendly need and fashion. The article will combine the existing examples put the modular design summarized into three categories: component modular design and geometric modular design and compounded modular design.</p>

Fast fashion can be interpreted as a quick response effort in providing the latest fashionable clothes according to consumer demand. This can lead to a accumulation of clothes which eventually becomes clothing waste. Clothing waste can be overcome with two opportunities, namely reuse and reduction, this reduction method uses the principle of sustainable design. Sustainable that is raised is a modular design. "Modular design" is a kind of design fashion that can not only make clothes more attractive, allow the wearer to participate in choices, increase the possibility of clothing styles, but also can extend the service cycle of clothes. In this "fast fashion" market, modular design ideas can be a breaking point, helping us find ways to balance low-carbon and eco-friendly needs and fashion. Therefore, there is a need for a ready-to-wear fashion modular design that inspires the Woloan Minahasa Stage House that can be disassembled. This will be the common thread in the creation of the work.

Subject. In this article we analyze how machinery, science and technologies influence the sociocultural environment that engenders the teacher's paradigm of values and views of life. Objectives. We herein outline guidance to predict the way teachers' views of life might evolve in corresponding sociocultural periods more precisely. The article analyzes making more precise forecasts of oncoming economic crises, which will cause some changes in teachers' mindset. Methods. The study involves learning methodologies, methods of prediction and forecasting, including foresight. Results. We propose and analyze the theory holding that the human civilization passes cycles during its sociocultural development in terms of a new set of values in contemporary teachers' views of life. The article sets forth our recommendations on innovation-driven views of life, mindset and thinking and, consequently, the development of intellectual qualities, knowledge, skills, cognitive activity, positive motivation to the professional activity of a teacher and alumni during more elevated periods, which requires to more precisely predict the way teachers’ mindset may change in certain sociocultural periods. Conclusions and Relevance. As the human civilization enters the innovation-driven sociocultural period, teachers and social relationships should demonstrate more innovative and environmentally-friendly attitudes and views of life.

Inefficient and non-environmentally friendly absorbent production can lead to much resource waste and go against low carbon and sustainable development. A novel and efficient Mg-Fe-Ce (MFC) complex metal oxide absorbent of fluoride ion (F−) removal was proposed for safe, environmentally friendly, and sustainable drinking water management. A series of optimization and preparation processes for the adsorbent and batch experiments (e.g., effects of solution pH, adsorption kinetics, adsorption isotherms, effects of coexisting anions, as well as surface properties tests) were carried out to analyze the characteristics of the adsorbent. The results indicated that optimum removal of F− occurred in a pH range of 4–5.5, and higher adsorption performances also happened under neutral pH conditions. The kinetic data under 10 and 50 mg·g−1 were found to be suitable for the pseudo-second-order adsorption rate model, and the two-site Langmuir model was ideal for adsorption isotherm data as compared to the one-site Langmuir model. According to the two-site Langmuir model, the maximum adsorption capacity calculated at pH 7.0 ± 0.2 was 204 mg·g−1. The adsorption of F− was not affected by the presence of sulfate (SO42−), nitrate (NO3−), and chloride (Cl−), which was suitable for practical applications in drinking water with high F− concentration. The MFC adsorbent has an amorphous structure, and there was an exchange reaction between OH− and F−. The novel MFC adsorbent was proven to have higher efficiency, better economy, and environmental sustainability, and be more environmentally friendly.

The article shows the way the Belarus Agricultural Library (BelAL) has been following the ideas of «green libraries»: it describes environmentally friendly practices implemented in the library over the past years; particular attention is paid to the ongoing work of the Green Office Belarus Agricultural Library (GO!BelAL); the authors outlined the prospects for the development of the library in promoting the goals of sustainable development and environmental awareness.

In view of the problem existing in the process of ecological construction, the overemphasis on the ecological techniques rather than the integrated consideration of spatial structure and distribution as a whole. This thesis intents to help innovate a green, ecological and energy-efficient space design idea which is more geared to the Chinese characteristics by extending and analyzing on the theory of fuzzy space, coupled with the knowledge of Chinese traditional architecture and the traditional culture, and approaching the applicational relations of fuzzy space design in the modern low-carbon social construction.

Abstract At Linz-Unkel (Germany) sewage treatment plant the first full scale state-of-art EloDry-Pro® plant for sewage sludge has been constructed, consisting of the PYREG® reactor and the EloDry® belt dryer. The system is characterised by small footprint, flexibility, modular design and efficient energy management. The sludge dried using an EloDry® belt dryer undergoes staged combustion using the PYREG® module at around 6,500°C. This reduces the sludge to a fraction of its original volume while disinfecting it and removing micro-pollutants such as pharmaceutical residues. The residual ash, which has a high percentage of plant-available phosphorus, is then supplied to the fertiliser industry as a recycled raw material. The working principle of EloDry-Pro® installation, including heat flows of the system, is presented. The paper describes Pyreg®'s advanced emission control systems, preventing NOx formation and removing harmful substances such as mercury and sulphur. The EloDry-Pro® technology is an innovative and cost-effective approach to decentralised thermal recycling of sewage sludge. Both sewage sludge volumes and transportation costs are reduced by up to 90%, therefore making it a low carbon cost-effective alternative to the transportation of sludge and allowing local sludge processing at plants under 100 k population.

The pathway to a low-carbon future is circular. Circular economy and the optimization of resources used in the energy system can be seen as a way to improve energy self-sufficiency. In St. Petersburg, stakeholders of International Innovation Forum and International Economic Forum 2018 have discussed foreign experience and circular economy in Russia, and found several solutions. Representatives from Business Finland partnership shared their experience – how environmentally friendly technologies become profitable business. FIRO-O, OptiKom, Charity second-hand store “Spasibo”, Baltika Brewery (Carlsberg group) and St. Petersburg Urban Eco-Cluster are given as successful examples of circular economy principles in Russia and St. Petersburg. Moscow and Saint Petersburg have different programs under the local authorities’ support in the sphere of environmentally-friendly development. Infrastructure of the Russian regions needs more attention and support from all the stakeholders: the business, the government and the society. The triangle cooperation (business-government-society) is needed. Russian company’s cooperation and integration into the global networks of ecologically responsible businesses could lead to the easier and faster solutions.

With the advancement of human ecology civilization construction process, low-carbon economies is increasingly influence and guide the human production and way of life. Since the carbon tourism been put forward at the end of 2009, it received widespread attention at home and abroad. As a new type of environmentally friendly travel mean, low-carbon tourism becomes the future strategic direction of the development of the tourism industry. Based on the related theory of low-carbon tourism, the paper, puts forward the problems existing in the development of low-carbon tourism, and puts forward some suggestions on its development.

Declared by the United Nations as the International Year of the Forest, 2011 demonstrated the signi#cance of forest ecosystems to all humans and the entire Earth. Religions had already become important allies in preventing damage to forests. Different religious traditions offer various proposals for forest conservation and afforestation. Since 1970 and especially after the jubilee year of 2000, people of faith established many ecological organizations to engage in environmental conservation because of their religious beliefs. All major religious traditions have a lot to offer. This article examines the way organized religions and faith-based ecological organizations are engaged in many environmental projects concerning forest ecosystems. It looks at the ecological activity of faith-based organizations such as the Chipko Movement, Appiko movement, Swadhyaya community, and the Ecological Movement of St. Francis of Assisi. The article shows that the actualization of religious potential in protecting forests is accomplished through active prevention of deforestation and climate change, afforestation, and the implementation of environmentally friendly technology.

Cape Town’s apartheid spatial form and historically under resourced public transport system has created a resource inefficient city. Providing additional financial resources to upgrade the public transport system will not be sufficient to encourage a shift to low carbon alternatives. To create a low carbon future for Cape Town a deeper level of change is required – a radical transformation in the way different people and places are valued within the present urban context. This case study analyses a civil society movement called Open Streets through the lens of transition theory. It suggests that this movement is a niche development in which a transformation of the way people and places are valued could occur. While this movement has been well received and appears to have potential to help shift the regime of urban transport system in Cape Town, there remains a series of organisational, logistical, regulatory and funding barriers that are hampering its full development and long-term impact.
